Autumn is nature’s final curtain call before things draw to a close for another year. For one more time nature picks itself up and gets ready to don all it’s remaining colours and jewels to celebrate what a wonderful year of life it’s had. . . . When I shot photos in Manhattan the other day, I had a few different outfit changes in Central Park, so I ended up putting this dress on in the bathrooms at Bethesda Terrace. Which, if you’ve never been in them, omg the stalls are tiny! It is not easy navigating layers upon layers of tulle that seem stubbornly determined to make their way into the toilet bowl! I managed without any tulle and toilet related casualties, thank goodness! 🙌🏼 After we shot the photos, our plan was to have lunch somewhere below the park. Usually, I would change back into normal clothes after the shoot, but I decided to leave this dress on. I’d barely managed one change without a casualty, wasn’t going to risk a second. I’m glad I left the dress on though, because even with my makeup melting off my face, I felt like an absolute badass strolling down Seventh Ave in a fairy ball gown. 🚕 It made the most sense for me to change into my next outfit at the restaurant, while we had more extensive bathroom space.
