@thuganomxcs : one muse reveals one of their darkest secrets to the other Indulgent Tropes
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Botan doesn't really have secrets. She has things she'd rather not mention, the nightmares that sometimes come when she's stressed, tensions in Reikai following Koenma's coronation, moments when her self esteem dips and she feels bound by her own weakness. But it's not intentional deceit on her part, she might diminish her insecurities or avoid the conversation but if you ask, she's an open book. The only big secret she's ever really kept was Hiei's and that was only under duress.
She knows Yusuke has secrets, things about himself that he keeps buried away. Botan knows a lot of these things, at least on the surface. Some things he's felt safe enough to discuss when pressed, others were revealed to her that first day they met, reading a generalized summary of his life before being sent to pick him up. She'll press him if she thinks it's important, but always with a soft voice, coaxing the shadows out from his heart, waiting patiently for the right moment.
And they've both been trying to communicate better. She likes that. Moments like this when they're sitting on Yusuke's bed, well past midnight, a little buzzed and a little sleepy, leaning against each other and talking when neither can really find the will to sleep. Well-- Botan does most of the talking, motor mouth that she is.
They get on the topic of Reikai affairs, old memories, Yusuke's time spent training in Makai. Botan mentioned that she was worried the whole time he was gone. The only information she could get were bits and pieces from Kurama and admittedly, she was going a little stir crazy having to stay with Koenma at Genkai's temple. And Yusuke looks at her questioningly, because they'd never really talked in depth about what was happening with her at that time. It's not a big deal, things were so chaotic there wasn't space for it. She didn't think it important enough to press the conversation.
Maybe she should have.
"Well, I mean, you know Koenma was exiled for protecting you from the SDF. The orders were to... kill you and as prince and the one who hired you, he was expected to follow his father's instructions. But instead, he sided with you. And... so did I. After you all came back, Koenma and I talked. And he felt it best that I didn't return to Reikai either. I disobeyed a direct order from King Enma and... I kind of yelled at him... Which is really really bad," she says, leaning against Yusuke. Her hand rests above his knee, her thumb stroking idly, tracing invisible patterns.
"When... you were fighting Sensui, I was outside with Genkai and the rest. Before Koenma went after you, he told me to be on alert. If both of you failed to prevent the tunnel from opening, I would feel it and I needed to report the situation to King Enma. And I did. I didn't know what was happening but I could feel the power shift and the ground shaking.
"When I got back to Reikai and told King Enma what was happening, he... told me you had been killed... I didn't believe it but, he was watching the situation. Then he told me that you were reviving on your own, that you had demon blood and would kill everyone in that tunnel if you were stopped. And.. I mean, that's just absurd. You would never do something like that. I tried to tell him but he wouldn't listen. He summoned the SDF and told them... to eliminate you and Sensui, seal the tunnel and ensure Koenma's safety. And take out anyone that tried to stop them. Which meant that if Kuwabara or any of them tried to defend you, they'd be killed too.
"I just.. I couldn't let him do that. It was a mistake, I didn't care what you were turning into, you were fighting to save people, you're a good person. But he wouldn't listen. Until the matter was dealt with, all shinigami were on standby and I was to stay with him. He wanted to question me afterwards. But I couldn't just sit there, knowing that they were going to kill you, that all of you were in danger. So I ran... by the time I got back, the officer outside the tunnel told me you were already in Makai. I stayed with Genkai to protect the humans," she's not crying, but her emotions are clear, the fear and frustration creasing her brow.
"Koenma received an order of exile from his father and given that I'd gone against my orders, he didn't think it safe for me to return on my own. At best, I'd be censured and removed from my job. At worst, I'd be charged with treason. King Enma has a bad temper... So I stayed with Genkai. Ayame snuck us information about what was happening back home and Koenma started working on plans to dethrone his father. I helped however I could but mostly I took the time to try and improve my abilities, so I could be more helpful. I mean, it wasn't terrible, you all were going through something much worse. And everything worked out in the end. Besides... I got to spend time with the girls and Kuwabara, so it wasn't all bad," in her typical fashion, she ends it with a smile.

Botan / Genshin Impact - Origin
Tumblr media
Name: Botan Title: Blossoming Ferryman A Ferryman on Reikai Island Vision: None. Constellation: Stygius Paeonia Rarity: ★★★★ Element: Hydro Weapon: Polearm Special Dish: Anmitsu Region: Inazuma
Botan is a young shinigami, a yokai able to communicate with the dead and travel to the borderlands between Life and Death. She lives on Reikai Island, a small island to the east of Narukami Island. There, she serves as a ferryman, escorting people across the river that encapsulates the main city.
Reikai Island used to be it's own entity; prior to the Archon Wars, it was ruled by King Enma, a powerful yokai. During the war, gods competed for territory and Enma joined the battles only to be usurped by his son, Prince Koenma, and sealed away beneath the palace. After that, Koenma sought an alliance with the original Electro Archon. Reikai thus became part of Inazuma though it largely runs independently under Koenma's guidance. Reikai has always been a land brimming with spiritual energy and has been home to many different yokai factions over the years, rarely receiving human visitors who seem too leery of the powers the yokai hold. It remains a sanctuary for yokai and all manners of magic.
The island itself is small and most notably features a large river that surrounds the main city. This river is dangerous to cross, both because of it's current and also because of the power it helds. The river is said to shield the gateway to the underworld, something hidden within the city and does not take kindly to trespassers. In order to cross into the city, one must be escorted by a Ferryman, a being bounded with the river and capable of sailing across it.
Botan works as a Ferryman under Koenma's employ. She's lived on Reikai Island her whole life but is interested in someday seeing the rest of the world. She may not be a vision holder but she has innate magic connected to her being a shinigami and connects with the elemental of Hydro. In addition to this is her ability to see and interact with ghosts who have yet to pass on and cross into the borderland between Life and Death. Aside from her work as a literal boatman, shinigami working on the river may also be tasked with escorting wayward spirits who have yet to pass on. Inazuman legends says that those who die will wake on the shores of Reikai and should seek out the Ferrymen for a ride to the Underworld.

Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle 4th Anniversary
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Maji Battle game is celebrating its 4th anniversary on August 28th, 2022 (Sun)! I loved the commemorative illustration with the quartet. They have also released some cool icons on the official twitter, including Keiko!
The game's art is so faithful to the anime, and the side stories specially written and designed for it, respect Togashi's original ideas so much that it feels like I'm reading/watching the official work. I hope this game will become global one day, so fans all over the world can enjoy it.

The Reikai prince was currently working on his mountain of paperwork while singing softly under his breath a song he recently heard in the human world. At least... He thinks it was recent, time is hard to grasp when all your days blend together.
“ And I'm feeling like a ghost And it's what I hate the most 'Cause I'm giving up again And this time (this time, this time)
This time I might just disappear This time I might just dis This time I might just disappear This time I might just dis “

[ @chapterblxck ]
Tumblr media
It had started out as a morbid curiosity-- Nothing more. The Reikai Prince had explained how Yusuke's predecessor had fallen from grace, disappearing into obscurity with Chapter Black in his possession. He'd witnessed first hand the extent of damage Chapter Black had done after seeing just how easily it twisted the minds of the very seven that had watched it, though he believed himself to be far too stubborn and rooted in his own morality to succumb to the horrors contained in the tape.
Even after he'd come face to face with Shinobu Sensui, Yusuke had never once questioned himself and what he sought to protect-- It was simple. Yusuke fought to protect humanity from anyone and anything that aimed to harm innocent people. Even if there were evil humans in the world, it didn't matter. A bad apple or two didn't necessarily spoil the bunch, did it? Besides, he'd be damned if he allowed some self-righteous bastard to bring about the end of the world just because he went off the deep end.
Mitarai, Amanuma, and Hagiri had returned to a normal life after all they'd seen, though there was no telling where the hell the doctor had disappeared to. Itsuki had disappeared with Sensui, though he could only hope they'd never return.
All that was left was Chapter Black.
Everything inside of him screamed to destroy it-- Tie up loose ends and put it all behind him, but another voice in the back of his mind nudged him to get a glimpse of what Sensui had seen-- If anything else, perhaps it would help him understand why he'd strayed the path.
Tumblr media
Since then, the ex-detective had been haunted by gruesome images replaying in his mind. He saw victims' faces everywhere he turned-- In his reflection, passing faces on the street, and whenever he closed his eyes... The screams echoed in his mind, leaving him tearing at his pillows and sheets when he lay his head down to seek solace in his dreams. He knew he'd made a terrible mistake even thinking about watching that tape, but it was far too late now.
He stood atop a city building, looking down at people gathered in crowded streets, blissfully unaware of the Mazoku’s presence. In his sleep-deprived and panic ridden state, all he could think of was how long he had been protecting people who were unworthy of salvation all this time. Just watching them made his stomach turn in disgust. All of them...
They didn't deserve peace... They didn't deserve to breathe... They didn't deserve anything but extinction.
Hearing footsteps, the ex-detective’s body tensed. He hadn’t anticipated the unwanted company, but it didn’t matter to him. Nothing mattered to him anymore. Whoever the other might’ve been, he was prepared to deal with them accordingly.
“Unless you’re curious about what it’s like to fuckin’ fly off a seventeen-story building, I’d stay where you are, asshole.”

❀࿐ Verse ( Original. Siren. )
Tumblr media
Sailors have always feared the ocean's depths, told stories of monsters that lay beneath the waves. And every once in a while, those stories happen to be correct.
Deep beneath the water, the sirens dwell; beautiful people with the piscine tails, described by sailors as half man, half fish; avoid at all costs. With enchanting voices, they lure sailors to their doom, crashing ships into reefs and sending sane men jumping to their doom. But every action is not without it's reason.
In truth, it's the souls of the dead the sirens sing for, herding those that die at sea to their final destination; a tour on Enma's ghost ship. The ships will crash even without the siren's voice, but instead of sailors dying in terrified panic, they're lulled sweetly to the depths. They're an omen of ill fates, not a cause. If you think a pretty girl swims beside you, perhaps it'd be best to keep your eye on the horizon to avoid a date with her.
Those souls taken by the siren's will soon find themselves boarding a fleet of ghostly ships in the Underworld's oceans, their service among the boats leads to either reward or punishment, sailing toward the afterlife's many islands. At the head of the flotilla, the mighty Reikai, captained by the Pirate King Enma's only son, Prince Koenma. The souls of those that die at sea serve individual sentences aboard these boats before disembarking to the afterlife, where they may finally rest. The worse your crimes, the longer your debt.
Botan is a siren among this fleet, a young woman with hair the color of tropical waves and a tail with pink scales like the most vibrant coral. She watches the humans from a distance, bringing souls back to her princely captain while observing the rest from a hidden vantage point. Most know her only as a myth, some story told to frighten new sailors from straying into dangerous waters. It would be best she remains unseen, lest she risk capture or far worse. But she likes to watch the topside world, even if only for a moment.

“ Hey! Don’t get mad at the messenger! Koenma gave me the message to give to you! ”
IT WASN’T completely abnormal to see the detective get worked up over the missions given to him by the Reikai prince. Botan herself knew how outrageous some of them were, but the teen always pulled through in the end.

“My, my... It’s been far too long, hasn’t it?” The fallen detective mused, drawing closer as his gaze rested on the Reikai Prince. By now, he was certain the prince knew full well why the former detective returned after so long. The power sphere was his for the taking. With it, he would rise to power and claim his place as king...
Starting by overthrowing the little spirit prince.
Where he once stood before the prince with bright eyes and a desire to protect the innocent, he returned with a icy gaze and an insatiable desire to destroy.
“All this time, I’ve been your little lap dog, fighting your battles for you... But now, the tables have turned. With no one to answer your beck and call, who will save you now?”

Are We Not Equally Blind? Chapter 1: A New Case
AN: The beginning of this story takes place after Reikai Tantei managed to save Yukina, but before the Dark Tournament.
Yusuke was sleeping peacefully after another successful mission and was dreaming (having nightmares) about his training with Genkai, causing his eye to twitch slightly in his sleep as he mumbled incoherently about "sadistic grannies". Yusuke’s “peaceful” slumber was brought to a jarring stop when he was abruptly woken up by Botan who was “gently” shaking him to rouse him from his sleep.
"Yusuke.....Yusuke.....wake up......WAKE UP YUSUKE THIS IS IMPORTANT!" Botan shouted as she “gently” shook the Spirit Detective awake.
"Huh? Botan? What the hell are you doing here? Goddammit, I was sleeping!" Yusuke yelled furiously at the blue-haired reaper, confused by her sudden appearance.
"This isn't the time for sleep right now, Koenma's got another case for you an-" Botan spoke urgently and quickly, silently wishing that Yusuke would just listen and do as he was told for once.
"Another one?! I just solved one for that stupid baby! Can't this wait till morni-" Yusuke shouted indignantly, jumping up from his bed.
He was, understandably, angry since it was 11 ‘o’ clock at night and it was the weekend. Between juggling his job (which he wasn't paid to do) and junior high (which he skipped 90% of the time), Yusuke was wiped out and felt like he deserved some R 'n' R.
Okay, Yusuke did deserve a break for fighting (and almost dying) the Toguro brothers and their demon triad. But it’d been a week since the fight, which was, in the eyes of Reikai, plenty of time for him to rest (well…in reality, it’s not a lot of time, but when one considered how little strenuous activity Yusuke actually does, it is) especially since he doesn’t really do much besides skipping school as much as he can, play games in the arcade and beating up some other (normal) teenagers his age (and older). Plus, for Yusuke, fighting normal, and more importantly, human teenage boys was not difficult before he died, much less now. So really in the grand scheme of things, Yusuke moaning about his work wasn’t entirely justified. (In the eyes of Reikai and Botan). However, to Yusuke, who was a lazy slacker, it was perfectly justifiable for him to kick up a fuss about being ordered to work in the middle of the night. (Not that Yusuke would ever actually admit to being a lazy slacker, but he’ll never dispute it.)
"No Yusuke, it can't! Koenma said that this case is of utmost importance! Kurama and Hiei are already with Koenma already and we cannot waste any more time waiting for you!" Botan interrupted Yusuke, she was tired of his whining already and wished that Yusuke would actually think about his responsibility as Spirit Detective for once and just understand that Koenma needed his help. Yusuke, surprised by Botan's outburst, grudgingly agreed.
This was mostly because he actually valued his hearing and didn’t want Botan screeching at him so late at night. He wouldn’t be surprised if she had woken his relatively new neighbours with her caterwauling, which didn’t bode well for him because they could potentially spend the rest of the night or the next day asking his hungover mother why they heard a girl screaming in their flat, or alternatively call the police because they might think that someone is being murdered. That being said, Yusuke was a little curious to know just what was important enough for Koenma to call him so late at night.
After (reluctantly) agreeing, Yusuke told Botan to wait as he dressed and left his flat to go wake Kuwabara (all while complaining every few minutes in his loud and obnoxious voice).
 ~mini time skip~
 At Koenma's office
"Alright pacifier breath, what's so important that you woke me up in the middle of the night?" Yusuke asked
Ignoring Yusuke's insult, Koenma got straight to the point and brought up the image of a young male around Yusuke and Kuwabara's age who wore light blue and white Chinese style fighter clothing (similar to the ones Kurama wore in the Dark tournament only it has a hood) with the hood covering the majority of their head leaving only their face and black fringe visible. The male appeared to be quite short with pale skin which made his dark hair stand out even more. One of the most striking part of him was the red marking on his forehead, just above his eyebrows that was in the shape of a Chinese lotus blossom. The other was his heterochromia eyes, with the left eye being a deep green and the other a beautiful dark blue. His eyes were larger and wider than the eyes of most men but were narrower than females. Overall, his face was well proportioned and rather androgynous, but his figure was a little feminine as it was slim and lithe. In Yusuke and Kuwabara’s opinion, they looked even more feminine than Kurama. Actually, Yusuke and Kuwabara assumed the person on the screen was a guy, and they would never actually say that Kurama looked like a girl to his face.
"This apparition is Ren, according to our files and is rumoured to be a Sacred Spirit. This would usually mean that he’s from Spirit World, but what little we have on file about him isn’t exactly well documented. Some of our sources from the file claim that he is a demon from the Makai, not a Sacred Spirit.” Koenma began, and looked, despite his incredibly youthful appearance, stressed with dark circles beginning to form under his eyes.
“Woah, hold up!” Yusuke blurted out with his customary frown of anger mixed with confusion.
“Yes, Yusuke?” Koenma replied with a deep breath, a reminder for himself to be patient with the fourteen-year-old spirit detective.
“Uh, what’s a Sacred Spirit? And what’s the difference between a spirit and a demon?” Yusuke asked. This kind of question had been nagging at him for a while since he was sure (since they had told him) that Kurama and Hiei were demons, and Botan was the grim reaper (or ferry girl, whatever that meant) and wasn’t considered a demon. However, no one had actually stopped to explain to him what apparitions and demons were and the actual difference between apparitions and demons, if there was any.
“Well Yusuke, a Sacred Spirit tends to be or usually are the children of the older spirits in Spirit World or the ancient ‘Gods’ of Ningenkai. Those gods are from the oldest and strongest spirits in Spirit World their equivalence for human standards would be Celestial beings. Now normal Sacred Spirits, and I’m using this term quite loosely, are bound to different shrines in human or Spirit World or to stronger apparitions in Spirit World.” Koenma said, beginning his explanation. “Are you following me so far?” Konema asked, trying to minimize the number of questions caused by Yusuke or Kuwabara’s confusion.
“Okay, yeah I’m followin’.” Yusuke said while Kuwabara nodded.
“Good, now, Sacred Spirits are contractually bound to the shrine or apparition until:
a)     The God or Shrine owner, or apparition dismisses them.
b)     The God or shrine itself become dilapidated due to no one believing in the God anymore.
c)      They die while serving the one they are bound to.
d)     In the rare possibility that they go rogue, and kill the one they are bound to and leave.” Koenma finished looking at Yusuke and Kuwabara, waiting for them to process and understand the information he has just told them.
“Has Ren gone rogue?” Kurama asked, frowning slightly in apprehension. He knew that killing an apparition that was of God status in Ningenkai was a great offence, and if Ren was successful in doing so, he would be a formidable opponent.
“Thankfully no, well at least I’m thankful right now anyway. In order for Ren to have gone rogue, then he would have had to be in contact with an apparition or shrine that we are aware of and, from our research, no shrine or apparition in Spirit World has undertaken a contract with Ren.” Koenma explained to the fox spirit.
“Then why the hell are we here?!” Yusuke shouted in frustration.
“If you let me finish, you’ll find out,” Koenma said rather tetchily, sucking on his dummy, making tsking sounds at Yusuke’s impatience. “The reason why I have called you all here is not for Ren’s crimes.”
“WHAT?!” Kuwabara and Yusuke shouted in anger and surprise. “You mean you woke us up for nothing!?”
 Botan blinked in surprise.
“But Koenma, you said this was a matter of great importance…If Ren hasn’t committed a crime, then why…” She asked in confusion.
“Because in reality, Ren’s files in Spirit World are…there’s so little information it is not even a file. According to Spirit World, he has committed no crime, yet he has been imprisoned here in Spirit World for centuries under my father’s orders in the highest security cell we have, even the three treasures don’t get as much security as he does.” Koenma sighed, suddenly looking centuries older than he appeared. “However, 10 years ago, somehow, Ren was able to escape and, although he was weakened by the escape, he managed to disappear somewhere within Ningenkai.”
At this statement, the Reikai Tantei's heads all turned sharply to stare incredulously at Koenma while Botan stood open-mouthed in shock.
"He was able to escape," Hiei stated as he shared a look with Kurama whose face was unreadable and looked back at the toddler prince. Hiei couldn’t help but feel a little impressed if Ren had escaped the cell Hiei was thinking about. Holy Talismans to trap both demons and spirits, chains that restrained and sucked an apparitions spirit energy and round the clock security. Although Hiei did scoff at the security, what little they had, in Spirit World.
Koenma closed his eyes in worry as he continued. "Yes Hiei, he was able to escape unharmed despite all the holy talismans that we had used to contain him."
“So he escaped, big deal, I don’t see why you’re so anxious about.” Yusuke scoffed, right now, he didn’t care if a dragon had escaped, Koenma seemed to have woken him up for nothing and he wanted to go back to sleep.
“Shut up Urameshi! Can’t you see that this is important! If he could break out of prison, who knows how strong he is?!”
“If Ren has escaped for so long, why wasn’t Ren apprehended at the time? Surely it would have been wiser for you to take advantage of the situation and his weakness?” Kurama asked, his brows furrowing, something about this case didn’t make sense and it didn’t sit well with him.
“I honestly don’t know,” Koenma admitted after a few moments with a deep sigh. “At the time there was so much hullaballoo about his escape but when I started making preparations to send people after him, my father stopped me. Even a few years ago, when I suggested that we go after him, my father just ignored it, like he didn’t even want to think about it. But now he’s ordered for Ren’s retrieval.”
“Well, that’s stupid,” Yusuke said, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
“Yeah, makes more sense to get ‘em when they bust out,” Kuwabara commented lowly after he had calmed down.
Hiei silently agreed with the two of them. ‘Looks like the two fools are using their heads for once.’ He thought and wondered, for a moment just how long this moment would last, silently scoffing when Kuwabara opened his mouth to speak.
“…So…What do you want us to do?” Kuwabara asked after a few moments.
‘Apparently not long.’ Hiei thought, unsure whether he should be annoyed or disappointed by his stupidity…or both.
“I, or rather my father, needs the four of you to track down Ren and bring him back here,” Koenma answered him looking the group in the eyes, before looking away.
After a few minutes of silence, Yusuke and Kuwabara agreed to find the missing "convict" and turned to return back to their homes, sleep and start searching for Ren in the morning. Hiei and Kurama waited until Yusuke and Kuwabara had set off with Botan before looking Koenma's in the eyes and began their inquisition.
"What’s the real reason we were called here Koenma? I know you don’t want us to just capture him. Besides, you have told us nothing about this Ren, what are you hiding from us?” Hiei 'asked' (demanded).  His gaze, along with Kurama's was so intense that Koenma couldn't continue looking them in the eye anymore. Koenma looked back down to his desk with his eyes closed, choosing his words carefully before steeling himself and looking back up to the two demons.

YYH AU.   1
ABILITIES.   plum has powers and abilities similar to their brother yakumo, yet some that plum has are only unique to them alone. some are what shows value to the meikai alone if they were to grow in those abilities alone.
crystal manipulation/growth*
able to make crystals grow or even move. this is used for their right leg mostly.
can be seen as a petrification ability if used on enemies. not something plum likes to do.
can move through the crystals as well as use them as a barrier.
if focusing, will be able to make a crystal golem army that obeys their every word or will.
if fully able to understand this power, plum ll be able to create a new power sphere or even restore the old one.
plant growth*
able to make plants grow. often just makes flowers grow. ( plants harmed that belong to them cause harm to them as well )
can make vines that are able to hold someone in place.*
healing
unable to heal self.
telekinesis
mind control
similar to their brother’s but only doing so if they refuse to listen to them.
rarely used due to disliking stripping someone of their will.
teleportation
electric palm blast
energy deflector shield
power sphere manipulation
very similar to yakumo’s abilities.
able to recreate large scale buildings and more if focused enough. but will take all energy and leave them powerless for a month.
* can be affected by emotions.
RANK.    by default plum’s rank barely goes to the s-rank, this is because his powers are not fully developed/awakened due to being premature at birth. yet this can vary in the verses as well.
meikai’s heirs    plum in this setting barely goes into s-rank, this is also due to being in hiding for many years and no using his powers much at all. but with this he’s learned to have no hint he’s a demon to others. he’d be seen and sensed as human only.
exiled prince     surprisingly, he’s secured as an s-rank demon in this verse, though on the downside the powers he has can be rather unstable due to the stress he dealt with from banishment. this can be harmful to him and those around him.
MEIKAI’S HEIRS HEADCANONS.
plum has mixed feelings on humans, witnessing and dealing with both good and bad humans. due to this plum struggles to fully have trust on many.
along with the mixed views on humans plum is conflicted on their brother’s plans but ultimately thinks it’s something to no longer go after out of the fear of what the reikai might do to them.
plum actually hopes they can speak with their brother first and attempt to have him call off his plans as well as read the letter that their human grandfather left for him.
plum lives in the house their grandfather bought since they moved to japan, it holds too many memories for them to want to leave it.
they often spends most of their time by the alter of their late grandfather to talk about their day even though they know veit is not there. it simply helps plum unwind.
despite their conflicted feelings, plum will not tolerate anyone speaking ill of their brother, as they still hold respect for him in the end.
EXILED PRINCE HEADCANONS.
plum honestly has no place to rest at unless offered a place to stay in the human realm.
they’ve become aware that even the reikai doesn’t know what to do with them as it’s clear they are no longer part of the meikai, but due to their powers and instability of them, makes plum also something of a danger
plum is rather distant in how they act to those around them, seeming to be completely closed off and nervous. but they are simply scared to be hurt again.
despite showing times of being genuinely happy plum will always fall back into that pit of unhappiness with how things turned up for them.
plum will never not miss their home and family, with that it leads to plum getting angry at theirself for their own actions but they will refuse to let that be seen with others around. sadly with that it leads them on the self destruction path, meaning plum will always wear a jacket no matter what.
plum fears their brother might have taken one of their words to heart and forget their existence which hurts them a whole lot more.
plum displays a more child-like behavior, this coming with how their existence in the meikai was kept secret but also not being taught anything on the outside world. because of that plum can be quite skittish.
with their brother now, if asked on their pain on it plum would most likely say that a fatal wound would be better than that. showing that the words and actions alone harmed them greatly.

Another Shot (closed rp with reikai-prince-koenma)

@reikai-prince-koenma ~ Continued from Sou Ka ~
"Mnn, I don't know. Call it a habit, I guess." The young partial seraphim replies, waving his finger a little towards the other. "I like seeing other people's viewpoints, especially that of a complete stranger." He says, dusting himself off. He seemed to wear an odd black and green uniform, a weapon holstered to his side. Seemed like a wakizashi, based on the length and build, showing he was a close-ranged fighter..
The real issue the other might feel would be within the blade itself. The young man only really had his seraph to worry about, but that blade on the other hand.. It seemed to irradiate some form of demonic energy.. Almost as if someone sealed away a demon inside of it.. oh wait..

❀࿐ Verse ( Honkai Star Rail. )
Tumblr media
Botan is a shinigami, a long lived species able to see and interact with the dead and the rift between life and death. She works as a Ferryman, manning an Astral Ferry, a spacecraft that resembles a small river boat (but make it Space).
Botan is still young compared to the other shinigami, who have guided souls between Reikai and the other worlds for millennia. She's only just started to make independent voyages, with a decade of experience under her belt. But she shows promise, an enthusiasm for sailing through the space between worlds like a boat on a river.
As a ferryman, she works under Prince Koenma, only son of King Enma and acting ruler of Reikai. Her work duties include escorting souls from her assigned region in Ningenkai back to Reikai so that they may be judged and welcomed into their assigned afterlife.
While she's content with her work, she can't help but look up at the stars beyond the River and wonder what life beyond it may look like.
