He couldn't help but laugh, lowering his hands quickly to move in and close the space between them, wrapping his arms around her and lifting. "Gotcha!" He shouts playfully, laughing a little and twirls them both.

He always loved teasing and 'tormenting' the poor girl, but it was all in fun. "I didn't expect you to scream bloody murder over it." He replies slyly, smirking at her.

She had been minding her own business as she walked inbetween buildings, a stack of papers held firmly in her grasp. Eyes widdening insurprise upon hearing a familiar voice as she turned around to check wether it was him or not. 

“Iwao-kun?” Elyon called out hesitantly before stepping forward, confusion slowly leaving place to relief as she held back some tears. few were the ones who had managed to figure why the young strategist had been stressed. This boy who had finally came back had been the cause of her worriness. 

A gloved hand simply reached up to smack him lightly on the head, only proving her frustration before she gently ruffled his brown strands. 

“Where the heck have you been? I really thought you were_ nevermind as long as you’re fine.” 

A low squeak escapes him the second the top of his head was smacked, though he stayed still the second his hair was ruffled. "Well, it's a long story." Iwao answers, looking up at her, a nervous laugh escaping. "I had to relocate and lay low for a while. Vampires took over the southern perimeter of Shibuya. And seeing as I can't quite live in the walls, without being put under investigation, I had to make sure where I went wasn't a hotspot."

Standing up fully, he rubs the side of his head, looking away. "I didn't realize how long it's been, though. I wanted to come and check up on you. I knew you'd get.." He takes in a breath, before sighing. "I'm really sorry for worrying you, Ely-chan."

There were many times that Iwao had gone out, and remained inconspicuous around vampires, but this time.. Oh, that didn't seem to be the case in the least. The partial seraph's teeth very slowly grate against one another, his posture lowering as if he were a wild animal, poised to run for it's life. In the back of his mind, he was hoping that the other hadn't noticed him yet, but as seconds ticked by, it was becoming less and less apparent.
