Experimenting continues. I’ve trialled 3 sizes. The first 2 (in the first photo) worked well. They are tiny (1/2 an inch tall) and midi (just over 1” tall). Of the larger ones (2” tall) only 1 survived the kiln. So I shall make more and just wait much longer on the bigger ones next time. But I’ll show you all 3 sizes once I finish glazing and see what you think. I think these might be my favourite version of my #oddities since I started creating them over 10 years ago. Because these are ceramics the process is much longer and more intricate and no two would be identical as they’re entirely hand sculpted individually. This little being is only half an inch tall! I’ve got some larger ones waiting to go through the final step too; so I���ll show you those soon. Their bodies have scars on them from all the things they’ve had to cope with in life and are a reminder of how strong they are and how far they’ve come.
