LOL #No rougher than eating meat for the rest of your life when you were previously a grass-eating horse though #I tried coming up w cool name for the vaccine so its HPE as in “Hope”

I have never seen that show but I know a bit about it from Tumblr and I had a dteam one time that I got House pregnant but he was not going to keep the baby and I was really upset because in the dream I was Pro Life which was never true because even when I was suffering from Being Misogynist (pre dark feminism) I was pro abortion because I hated children and wanted less of them. But now I am super into MPreg so maybe it was a prophetic dream in some ways...

#laishuro #laios touden #i make a lot of jokes on here since part of the fun of this blog for me is limiting myself to only expressing ideas via drawings #as much as I can to try to see what I can try to convey in the limited time I have to draw each day which is sometimes like 15minutes #but laios idea of who shuro was to him and who he continues to be and how it ties into his own feelings of self worth and self hatred #not to mention being so thoroughly defined by having never been indulged before by the men in his life #are so compelling to me #and then of course you mix in toshiros own mind prisons #and their established dynamic of him begrudgingly putting up with him because he feels he has to and bc hes cursed with obedience #whilst laios genuinely thinks shuro does it because he likes it and likes laios because why else would anyone act like that #when everyone else in his life has not hesitated to Let Him Know #this is what is so fun about relationships like this…forever passing by each other’s true feelings like ships in the night #sometimes i get embarassed how deep i get for some of the characters in this series it really is that deep sometimes but not always #but WHATEVER #i never even engaged in or was interested in shipping the several years i read dunmeshi EXCEPT laishuro lol #which i sadistically wanted to stay one sided and miserable forever. I rarely get fed such genuinely fraught dynamics as their one in manga #so i became obsessed #and walked through the desert alone for 40 years and then checked in as anime started airing that other people ship this and gaf #and decided to unleash the jokes and ideas that my like 2 friend who like anime previously suffered alone as though they were jesus christ #now tho as much as I still enjoy tragedy and pain and emotional suffering I’ve let love and peace and requited fulfilled yaoi into my life #with laishuro. and its great!#my comics

after the second war percy thalia and nico became closer (and got over their problems ofc) and actually friends, and shortly after they realized they all liked to shit talk people. especially the gods.

but the gods would never allow that, and the only god any of them could think of that would let them get away with that was poseidon. so they had their weekly shit-talk session in the poseidon cabin.

until one day, when thalia was shit talking apollo about what he did to/with the hunt that particular day, poseidon decided to join in. he had nothing better to do so why not

thalia barely even blinked and started from the beginning while percy and nico fell off the couch.

percy already shit talked other gods with his dad during the summer/winter solstice since neither of them wanted to be there, so he adjusted to the new member fairly quickly

and from that day on poseidon officially became part of the shit-talking group, he always brought a lot of snacks and drama from olympus (and often atlantis) and soemtimes would bring amphritrite too

after a few weeks, after their shit talk sesh, poseidon would bring the little three out to wherever they wanted to go to just chill and vibe (it was thalias idea)

I am going to do my best by making it a little funny.#Xue yang really committed fully to this new life of his! Don't threated him by trying to ruin it!#I love how he takes the blame here too. Yes he purposefully set up events to cause a divide between them #Yes he attacked SL because it would hurt XXC the most #but hey: that only hurt because he loved SL so much (in whatever form they have)#and SL hurt XXC in turn by sending him away #Xue Yang set it up but Song Lan dealt a blow on his own #XY is still the *most* at fault here but contrasting this with how strongly he justifies his actions to XXC later is very interesting to me #also he did NOT have to villain monologue about all the stuff he made xxc do. He could have just shut up about it #but nah he needs to cause hurt because HE'S so hurt and can't make other people understand him in any other way.

so one of the things you have to know about my grandpa is that he loved cars. Loved to go fast. Had a real need for speed. To this day the only driver that has ever made me carsick on a motorway. Used to own about 14 mini coopers in various stages of disrepair and keep them on other people's drives. Used to race those mini coopers for fun and quite possibly profit. These are fun facts that I knew growing up and that made driving anywhere with grandpa an Experience(TM). He was in no way a bad influence and I am a very dull boring and by-the-book driver as a result. Anyway.

The other thing you need to know about my grandpa is that he once got away with driving a car at 20+ miles an hour through a shopping arcade, like some kind of British viol-and-recorder-playing blues brother, because when the police asked him if he knew who was driving the car that day he just said No. So even though they had the registration number and knew that he owned the car, his lawyer said there was, and I quote "not one jot or tittle of evidence" connecting him to the crime, and the magistrate apparently said (definitely quoting here) "cheers bro I'll drink to that" and let him off scot free.

I learned this approximately five minutes ago from an absolutely hysterical newspaper clipping that my grandpa apparently treasured his whole life long, and left for us to find a full year and change after he died. A man's not dead while his crimes are still legendary ❤️
