Who is this person?

Hi! I’m a 19-year-old college student in the United States. I love math, if you couldn’t tell already! In fact, I want to teach math someday, and I’m committed to practicing loving + antiracist + feminist + queer-friendly STEM pedagogy (to the best extent that I can do all those things at once). I also play jazz piano and am always looking for new jazz artists to listen to!

Tickling!

To elaborate: I identify as a straight male person (more or less) who has been fascinated / compelled by tickling since a very young age. I am just so enthralled with the idea of exerting control over a consenting adult in a way that is silly and adorable, while at the same time being really freakin sexy and dark :) That being said, I’ve spent most of my life feeling pretty ashamed of my tickling kink and not sure how I would ever express it to a romantic partner. Given the volume of profit-driven tickling porn out there, I suppose I developed some awareness that I can’t be the only person who’s into this wonderful thing… but that awareness has always been really distant for me.

However, through Tumblr I have recently become aware that there are real! human! beings! out there who are into the same things that I’m into!!! Discovering the tickling community on here has been such a revelatory experience for me–– within the past month I’ve taken some huge steps from feeling incredibly isolated by my kink toward feeling valid and worthy and normal. Obviously Tumblr (like the internet at large) has lots of scariness and grossness, but I’ve been incredibly inspired by the maturity and confidence (not to mention cuteness) of all the Lers and lees I’ve seen on here.

So what does all this mean? I have no idea if the community here is going to be the answer to life, the universe, and everything, or if it’s just another step along whatever journey I’m taking. What I do know is that I really want to talk to other humans who share my experience as a tickle lover. So if I send you a message… that’s why! I want to meet you and learn from you.
