Watching Batman: The Animated Series for the first time and Bruce and Harrvey's friendship has me in a chokehold.

Two-faces origins are a two parter, and leading up to it, we get to see Bruce and Harvey's friendship. In part 1, we learn about his mpd, and at the end, he gets the scarring. Part 2 opens up with him as two faces. Bruce is having nightmares about not being able to help Harvey and is learning everything he can about mpd to help his friend.

JJ giggled as he watched Chase run around the large yard of the Ego Manor. He was a man on a mission, determined to get every single plant that even resembled a flower out of the grass. JJ didn’t have the heart to tell Chase he was technically gathering weeds for him. He was just too happy to see his partner thriving on this self-assigned task. JJ swore there were times he'd be willing to make the world stop turning if it meant seeing Chase's excited smile. 

“I’m going to have to make trips,” Chase said his realization out loud, rushing over to the patch of grass JJ sat on. “Round one.” 

“How many rounds do you think there’ll be?” JJ silently giggled as he signed his question.

“Um…two? Maybe three?” Chase answered before placing the handfuls of plants into JJ’s lap and then took off again. 

"I don't know how a heart so big can fit in one's body." JJ couldn't help from praising as the next round of flowers was added to his lap. 

"Last one" Chase had some pink on his cheeks and was running off once more. "And done!" He dropped the remaining plants on JJ and his chest puffed with pride. 

"Oh, Chase." JJ signed the name with a soft, adoring smile. He then beckoned Chase with a finger, getting the other to bend over a bit. JJ caught Chase's shirt collar and tugged him into a kiss. "Thank you." 

"It's-It's no problem." Chase stammered, the pink from before now a bright red. JJ just continued his smile and guided Chase into another kiss.
