She strikes a deep chord with me since I get to throw a lot of my own experience in life into her, but I figured if Capcom wasn't going to let her see the light of day again, I'm stealing her for myself. She has a LOT of potential, and they're squandering the hell out of it. Like just let her do things, dammit!!

after helping leon, hewie also helped ada in a similar manner by acting as a distraction.

hewie went with ada after the events of re4 and got adopted, becoming her guard dog. not only is he good at distracting bio-weapons, but he's good at fetching stuff and sniffing out things.

ada tried to get him groomed once, that didn't end well. he's protective of his floof okay.

he learned how to do tricks for ada and she has a set of buttons with simple words on them that he can press on if he needs something.

Daniela had been hiding in the dark in one of the dungeon cells watching the masked stranger, curious about what she was up to.

The redhead was literally buzzing with anticipation as she stepped closer to the iron bars. She could easily phase through them anytime she wanted but chose to stay inside the cell for now. "The cellar of an old castle is probably a good place to look for treasures. I mean, you found me." She giggled. "Can I join your little treasure hunt? I love hunting and I happen to know this place very good."

"if you're trying to gaslight me....." the brunette started off as he stared down at the vial in his hands, a sample of the latest virus on the black market. it costed quite a pretty penny or so catalina says but he wouldn't hire her for her skills if he wasn't able to afford it in the first place. sure, there was a chance that the BSAA might come across it for him to work with at some point, but his patience can only reach so far.

so he has... other methods to get what he's looking for.

"you can say anything you want, i still say i could've gotten out by myself." perhaps by then it would've been too late, but the two of them would never really know. regardless, he still appreciated catalina's help back then as he was able to devise a method to deal with the parasite from his body that didn't rely on the crude device created by dr. sera-navarro. "but, you did make things easier for me, so i guess there's that."

No. He was not capable of that weakness. Of crawling and begging and trying in vain to fight off against a force greater than he was. Though he'd fought and cut and shot his way through so many other lives in this world he admits he cannot recall even one instance where they began with someone striking him first. He was calculating in that way. He would gladly be the first to start the fire - to burn down literal and sentimental binds without provocation.

"It was about destruction - about conveying what I am capable of. Fear has never walked bedside me in this journey. Only determination. Whoever I have lost along the way was merely a byproduct. Just as anyone I loose in the future will be."

And maybe a touch of spite. Not that he was about to admit that.

The click of the gun reloading seems to punctuate every word. While his gaze appears to never fully look away from her, it is clear by how quick and deliberate his movements are that he's more interested in rearming.

"Stay if you want. Or go back the way you just came. My contract doesn't give a bonus pay for evacuating civilians."

There's a unnerving pause as he kicks aside the empty bullets around his feet. Ignoring the grim sight of the undead bodies that lay prone across the other side of the hall: proof of his skill. Or perhaps his lack of hesitance when it comes to killing.

"Wouldn't bother heading North if I were you. Not unless you're looking for a hoard."

I've been seeing the show with my dad, and we're both really enjoying it. (And he's said he's not interested in anything else Marvel's got in their line-up for a while, so that's. saying something.)

👀 - Catalina and Helena!

Helena is very aware that Catalina is crushing on her, and she indulges it in small ways by sending her the occasional text message just containing a link to whatever musical song she's feeling in that moment. She's still trying to piece together exactly how she feels, but appreciates Catalinas company regardless.

before Catalina came along she was only aware of maybe two or three musicals, her horizons have been incredibly broadened since then.

Helena continues to dodge any kind of probing questions of Catalina asks them. Not out of a want to push her away, but she just doesn't want to upset her.

"Come inside, you can warm yourself at one of our fireplaces." Bela wondered how this human ended up here, hikers weren't common around this time of the year.

just playing with the idea that since krauser killed luis ( if we're sticking with that in canon ), cat has probably tried a few times to take out krauser in later encounters. though obviously that doesn't stick cause hey, he's a bio-weapon now, but i imagine it's more cathartic for her, so mfkldsgdsmkf

he has no beef against her and respects her to a degree. like what better way to make friends than exacting revenge against him for luis.

krauser has definitely offered for cat to join his para-military group, spectre unit, because he knows talent when he sees'em and krauser is always in search for different type of skills to recruit -nods-.
