the best stereotype to assign to toji is that he is the dude who is defensive about and honestly a little nerdy when it comes to grilling. he will guard that grill and he will deliver perfectly cooked hamburgers and steaks no you cannot help him and he knows he shouldn’t call it a “man’s job” but it’s his job and your job is to sit in the little beach chair he pulls out for you when it starts to get warm and sip your drink and keep him company and tell him what you think of the new spice rub he tried out and sure if you wanna kiss him on the cheek that's fine too he won’t object

In labor!

I went into labor a little early last night, and now I’m having contractions every 20ish minutes! I texted my midwife and doula so my room at the birth center will be ready when I come in, and now I’m going to do something kinda risky—

Run errands while I’m in labor

Hopefully waddling around will help the baby come

I’ll keep everyone posted, and hopefully before long I have my sixteenth baby in my arms—ngggghh ohhhhh… 😣

Me and my belly full of babies >.< The twins are eager to get out, moving around pressing on my cervix. I want to keep them in as long as possible so they really stretch me open when they're born. I'll keep my undies on until the first one's shoulders slide out of me.

abusive parents: Children need to work! In order to have work habits! I'm just making sure they're developing good work habits!

the actual 'habits' being taught: work being thrown at children with no announcement or schedule, being yelled at for not doing something they had no idea needed to be done, endless punishments if the work is refused or even rescheduled, being ordered around with no nuance for your own schedule, human needs, illnesses or school responsibilities; being pushed into labour with no clear instructions and severe punishments if you get it wrong, having to predict when someone will want something to be done or risk contempt, being told you're lazy, worthless and a waste of space regardless of how much work you do, never getting any rewards or acknowledgment for completing all of the work, exposure to criticism, insults, and overall horrid working conditions with no right to complain or refuse to do it, being taught that you're worth nothing unless you can prove your worth in endless free labour, perfect setup to be maximally exploited by every boss and manager in your future life because you've been taught to fear confrontation more than death

Laura lay on the hospital bed screaming in agony as labour pushed her body to its limits. The contractions had been unbearable and the sheer size of her child threatened to rip her in two. To make matters worse she didn't want this baby.

She had broken up with her ex complaining that she felt like she wanted to explore a little more before settling down. After all she had been with him for years and felt that she could go out into the world and meet more people and experience sleeping around while she was still young and gorgeous. Of course things in her relationship had been going wrong for a while with a general sense of comfortable existence and lack of excitement driving her crazy. Right before the big breakup speech she slept with her partner one last time. It had been a strange experience as he seemed to be even more hungry for her that night then usual and it was almost enough to make her want to stay. Of course with her luck the condom had ripped and his seed that managed to find its way to her hungry womb. The first few months of being single had been a dream. She spent a great amount of time alone not wanting to go straight into sleeping with other guys. To make matters worse she'd been going through extreme nausea the whole time and generally feeling sorry for herself.

Before long she pieced together what happened. That final love making session had been a mistake because now she was pregnant with his baby. Initially they had agreed to stay in contact after the breakup and when she told him he simply laughed. He had told her that it was ironic that she wanted to sleep around and now the baby growing inside of her was going to put a stop to that because no one would want a swollen pregnant slut like her. She begged him to take her back and accept his child but of course he blocked her and disappeared off the face of the earth without a trace.

Now she lay in the hospital bed trying to push out a 12 lbs baby between her trembling thighs. She would cry uncontrollably between pushes begging the doctors to make it stop wishing desperately that she didn't have to become a mother. Even if she chose to get rid of the baby her body would never recover from this and she knew somewhere her partner was laughing.
