can i just say i do not trust Mister Holt. i'm getting all kinds of sinister vibes. i'm waiting for the betrayal. if not by the end of the chapter, by the end of the book he and geralt have GOT to duel, or something... come on...

these are the reasons for my distrust:

FIRST PRIMO, coming into the prose with the most english fucking name... PRESTON? HOLT? this is the kind of guy you find at yale, not in a fantasy novel... now, yes, yes, "gerald" is a germanic name (spear-wielder...) but also there is gierałt, and ... well, i'm just getting all kinds of meta symbolism, throwing an established and respected white-haired figure in front of the young geralt... maybe just because i've been steeping myself in writing about the origins and english publication of the witcher for some time now, but it feels like a metaphor for the literature itself... you know, "witcher" back then being a small fish in the big ocean of the english-dominate fantasy genre... yet being one and the same, of the same cloth, and "resembling greatly" (aka borrowing the appearance of another white wolf...) ... i think this is just me thinking about it from this angle because it's what's been on my mind, but yeah :p sapkowski uses a bunch of names from different origins, but he... mostly... uses them strategically and for certain purpose, usually to say something about that character... except for ciri who's named after some children's jacket :D so idk, i can't think right now of anyone with a more outrageously english name than this in the witcher series. it stands out, i don't know if that's for a good reason or not.

SECOND PRIMO, he is obviously an invention for this novel. that means he has a specific role to play insular to this specific story... whether that be mentor or antagonist, or both... but there must be a reason he doesn't show up before (i.e., after) this :D

THIRD PRIMO, he and vesemir "move in different orbits" ahaha... vesemir doesn't say "giddefuckouttamahhouse" for no good reason, i know that. honestly this is the biggest red flag, he didn't even try to put on the show and dance of the classic kidnapper "yeah yeah i know your dad he and i go way back".

FOURTH PRIMO, i read the hussite trilogy. i know how this shit goes: young plucky protagonist allies up with someone more powerful. ignores all red flags. ends up tied up in the back of a wagon.

FIFTH PRIMO, it's a western trope, isn't it. this town ain't big enough for two white-haired witchers... so stick 'em up.

Part 29 of dc x pokemon series: J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter

Another really difficult one to give pokemon to. For purposes, we'll be doing similarly to how we do the Lanterns and Kryptonian Variants: only pokemon he's obtained on earth, known of on earth, or have a Martian variant of earthling pokemon.

We're also keeping his base in Middleton for ease of not dealing with continuity.

Because J'onn has the earth identity of John Jones, he has pokemon he keeps openly as part of that identity.

It took J'onn a while to get used to the earthling way of dealing with pokemon.

Bluto: Due to J'onn's inherent martian fear and weakness of fire, he could not be assigned a common Arcanine when working as a police detective. Instead, he goes out of his way to capture and train one that resided deep in the Rocky Mountains. A rarer variation of the common arcanine that lacks the fire typing.

PI: Gumshoos

Preston: Meowstic that J'onn can make a comfortable, if muted and casual psychic connection with. His mind is similar enough to martian pet pokemon that it feels comforting.

Spears: Onix that J'onn caught on a whim but enjoys the company of. Rarely out of the ball when in populated spaces because of their size.

Kin: Sudowoodo that J'onn feels a surprising kinship with having to pretend to be something he's not to avoid potential danger (usually experimentation on J'onn's part)

Flight (also uses the Martian thought word for flight or the feeling of flying): Rufflet are common in the skies of Colorado. J'onn nursed one back to health and now has quite the keen and loyal Braviary that has had latent psychic abilities unlocked thanks to a mental connection with J'onn over such a long period of time.

These are pokemon more closely tied to J'onn as a hero and a Martian or simply ones that it would be strange for Detective John Jones to have.

[Martian spoken and thought word for Connection]: The first pokemon J'onn caught on earth. When reaching out with his mind, desperate for connection, his mind found another, though less complex than his own, and found e could convey complex emotions with his Alakazam.

[Martian word for the ability to change shape. Usually in regards to infants]: A ditto found in the same lab that J'onn rescued Mewtwo from. This ditto, being a product of failed cloning of Mew and not a common phenomenon pokemon, has typing out of the norm.

[Martian word for the vastness of space]: Cosmog.

[Martian word for Partner. Used in a military or 'manhunter' context exclusively]: J'onn's remaining Martian variant pokemon- A Martian Zoroark. Zoroark were to Manhunters what Arcanine are to police on earth.

[Martian word for Sandstorm]: J'onn's Flygon. Finds her appearance comforting as she shares features with Green Martians and he found her flying over Oklahoma's red earth, making him nostalgic for Mars.

Guidance: Shiny Slurpuff J'onn caught while deep in Choco withdrawls while recovering from his addiction. She helped him through it and now sooths him when he has cravings.

[Martian word for a Two-Way Mental Link between the lonely. A thought word exclusively.]: Mewtwo J'onn felt the complex mind of and rescued from a lab (where he also found his ditto). This pokemon joins J'onn only during dire threats in battle, but visits and connects with him mentally often as a friend.

Uriel Preston: And other stuff

Got inspired by @skenisasleb to make a few outfits for Uriel, a south park oc of mine, and a few episodes for him too! ( They are just the top third of the outfit, sorry! And btw, the quotation marks are names of episodes. Spoilers for post covid and return of covid)

1-"Pirrup your dukes": (this was when pip was alive) Upset that a kind boy like Pip would be tossed around with no remorse, Uriel decides to train him on some self defense techniques. Despite the genuine goodness of the former, Pip decides to us this training and beat his bullies to a pulp, and Uriel has to stop his friend before things get way out of hand.

2-"Coke flavored fish": When Uriel's parents, Coral and Marco, get back from a more than 20 year monster hunt from their jobs, they gotta make up the time that they couldn't spend with their son. To kill 3 birds with one stone, as they find out his adopted sis is a monster (so they gotta see if she's worth taking care of) and they have to hunt for a beast in a large area of water, the parents decide for a fishing trip. Plot A would be that Uriel fishes with, questionable bait, and plot B would center around Coral's Tension with Trixie, and the shenanigans that follow.

3-"What's best for her": Meeting an exchange student named Yentl, (This takes place before the first future of post covid) he's head over heels as he wishes no only to complete a to-do list from his far-off sis, but also to befriend someone new. However, Uriel is in tough competition with Cartman and is gonna have to duke it out for love( Using gifts of course), but looses at the end when Yentl wants to be Cartman's girlfriend due to her concern that Uriel is going ill from wasting so much energy on trying to please her.

4- Leroy Redhood: His Stick of truth sona. He's an old tavern keeper who wants to unite all creatures of Zaron. His place is where other species can mingle and interact with each other, but is restricted of violence against others inside (There will always be those annoying loopholes). 3 of these customers decide to stay to help with the tavern, and this is where his protective instincts shine (Calling the three his kids and other stuff). You dare hurt one of kids? Well get ready to feel figurative hell! He carries a basket with a spike on the bottom to double as a shield.

5- HoudiNick: In the day? Just an ordinary apathetic but still caring Fashionista, giving customers only the best of fabrics and materials to make a high grade superhero costume. At Night? A ruthless motherfucker that shows no mercy, has an endgame of blowing up earth, and burned his sister once( That was the most extreme instance of sibling wars with Trixie). The reason for turning evil was because he gave up trying to unite both franchises, and turned to the darkness, wreaking as much havoc as possible by trying to get as many secrets the heroes have and leak them to the entire town. His weapons are his trusty double-headed silver spear and his hat of infinity that stores bombs and other interesting stuff. To get him, you have to listen to every single conversation he has. You get limited amounts of dialogue at first, but he will open up to you as the game goes on, deciding to officially join you after he hears news of both franchises reuniting( But not before you defeat him in a battle, the mechanic being that he empty or even use your ultimate meter for his own ultimate when he can).

6- Post Covid(Original Timeline): In the original timeline, with his sister stuck in Canada, Uriel tried to get a list done of "Things to do when your sis is away," the only thing that remains incomplete was getting a girlfriend( Which was Yentl, but they are still good friends). The future sees Uriel as a Butler to Kenny, as he gave him a job of being a butler when almost all jobs got automated by robots. When Kenny dies, the will tells him to help out the other boys when he can. However, Cartman uses the will to his advantage, and makes him steal the machine to use it 'For the greater good( Which is to kill Kyle in hopes to stop this mess.)' Once Uriel finds out the true plan, he pulls out his double sided spear when Cartman fistfights Kyle to stop the two, only to have to put down the weapon when Yentl exclaims her disbelief on how Cartman used to be, and how he is now. (I'll do the altered future Uriel in another post)

Woods Part 3

The sun had started to set and the rain was now a light drizzle. The temperature was also dropping. “How long until they come looking for you?” You asked wanting to know if you’d end up spending the night with a killer or not. “Tomorrow probably. Preston will be there. Ignore him he’s an idiot.” He responded. You pouted, the thought of staying the night in creepy woods with a killer that video taped everything made you shiver. Gathering your thoughts and emotions you realized you didn’t know his name, It seemed like at this point knowing each other's names would be okay. “Um my name is (y/n) by the way. What's yours?” you asked, now facing the disfigured man. “Jesse” his phone said. “It’s nice to meet you Jesse.” You said with a smile. Night fell quickly.

Your stomach growled loudly in the early morning hours. You had barely slept due to fear of what might happen. Jesse woke up to the sound of your stomach, making a confused look he raised his eyes to meet yours. “Oh I’m sorry my stomach woke you. It’s almost like I haven’t eaten in god knows how long since you kidnapped me.” You said with a hint of anger seeping in. A second later you realized you just basically yelled at a serial killer and covered your mouth with your hands in shock. You were about to apologize when his phone talked “You have bite. I like fire” 

“I’m still sorry. I’m just so hungry and tired.” She said apologetically. His phone spoke up again “You would probably be a better addition than Preston” She tried to figure out what he meant and then it hit her “Are you offering me a job?” You asked. He only shrugged. At this point the sun was rising and out in the middle of nowhere it was a breathtaking view. You even smiled at the sight. Unknown to you your forced companion had noticed the smile, he thought it was a beautiful smile. 

The two of you spent the morning rebuilding the fire and adding in anything that made it smoke more. You had come up with the idea of a smoke signal and Jesse was impressed at your thought process. He hadn’t thought about needing to signal your exact location since the phone by this time was nearly dead and not able to transmit it’s gps signal. The smoke signal rose high into the sky, it would be easy for a plane or helicopter to see from a distance. 

Since neither of you had the survival skills to know which plants were edible you sat trying to make a small spear with the use of one of his knives and a stick. Since you were the faster of the two it would be your job to spear the animal. You were not looking forward to it. Jesse tried to reassure you that it would be okay since it’s for survival. 

Finally you got the courage to try. It didn’t take long for you to find a lone rabbit grazing in a field. Doing your best you missed by a lot and the bunny left in a hurry. “Dammit” you cursed. Jesse silently chuckled at you. Even though it was a silent laugh due to him not being able to really make noise you could sense it and so you turned around giving him a death glare. The large man playfully put up his hands in mock defense. “Oh my gods you have  a sense of humor” you said with a dramatic gasp. 

He didn’t show it often but he did in fact have a softer side. At work it was necessary for him to be the stone cold stoic killer that he is, but in free time he was more relaxed and kind. He no longer saw you as his prey or a threat so he let the walls slip down for a bit. She was relieved that his mood had seemed to improve. After a few more tries you finally managed to kill a larger rabbit. With the brightest, most proud smile you had you held up the dead animal. Jesse clapped to show that he too was proud. He knew how to skin and cook the animal and so he did that half of the work. 

By this time it was noon and the two of you sat happily eating the cooked rabbit.  Just as the meal was finishing up you hear the sound of helicopters and ATV’s. Your eyes widen slightly in fear. Jesse easily sensed this and typed “It’s my company. Don’t tell anyone about me being nice.” the phone said as he put a small amount of sap onto his mask to act as a temporary adhesive. You frowned at this, his face was something you’d grown to like, it was friendly and kind. It pulled you back to reality that most people saw him as something monstrous. You wondered if his company even knew what he looked like. 

A gun in your face snapped you from thoughts. In front of you was a man not as tall or intimidating as Jesse. He had black hair and a wicked smile. “Preston” the phone in Jesse’s hand said. “Oh you’re the annoying one J-Chromeskull was talking about.” Your face lit up as you realized this. The smile on Prestons face left in the blink of an eye, being replaced with a frown/scowl. “You little bitch!” He yelled in your face. You only giggled through your fear. This only angered him more. A woman walked up behind Preston and pushed him aside. It was clear he was the lowest on the food chain. 

“Shut your mouth Preston. Jesse wants her alive.” The woman said calmly. Subconsciously you walked back and bumped into someone. “I..I’m sorry” you stuttered out turning around to see Jesse. The sudden arrival of thirty or so people was overwhelming. The woman eyed you before saying “My name is Spann, I work for Chromeskull.” She said. You nodded trying to collect yourself. “I’m (Y/n)” You managed to say. “I know” Spann said. Looking over the womans shoulder you could see a still angry Preston barking orders at the workers. Jesse put a large hand on your shoulder as reassurance. 

“You have two options now that you know about this organization. We kill you or you work for us.” Spann gave you the ultimatum.

Battle Shuriken - Re:Ninja Steel AU

The Battle Shuriken, the secondary weapon to the Shinobi Rangers. Unlike the show, the rangers will use their swords as morphers like Ninninger giving way for the shurikens to be full on weapons. The show had three forms, Claw, Bow, and Blade, here I remastered those forms and also added in two extra modes being Khakkhara Staff/Spear Mode and Shield/Drill Mode, the weapons are universal amongst the team but they prioritize specific ones with Brody preferring the blade, Preston preferring the staff, Calvin preferring the shield/drill, Hayley preferring the claw, and Sarah preferring the bow.

Last week it emerged that the Gimme More star, 41, had an abortion with her ex Justin Timberlake in 2000 when the pair were 19.

Britney Spears had deep unresolved issues regarding her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has revealed.

The shocking revelation was leaked ahead of the publication of her memoir The Woman in Me, which is released today.

In the book, Britney also admits for the first time ever that she cheated on Justin with choreographer Wade Robson.

She claims they made out during a wild night at a Spanish bar but only after she found out that Justin had slept around behind her back.

Rumors had swirled for years that Britney split up with Justin in 2002 after getting with Wade.

Security consultant Adnan, 50, dated Britney in the months leading up to her being placed in a mental health conservatorship under her father Jamie in 2008.

Speaking exclusively to The U.S. Sun, he explained that Justin, 42, was the only former flame Britney ever spoke to him about and that she never mentioned the father of her kids Kevin Federline.

Adnan, who is originally from Birmingham, England, but currently lives in California, said: “We never talked in depth about any relationship she had prior to me.

“If there was a time that she ever inadvertently, and I use that word selectively, mentioned anybody prior to me, it was only ever Justin.

“So there was an exclusivity, which made me understand that there was something deeper or unresolved about that relationship.

“Because when you have five relationships, but you only mention one in any given instance, then you have to ask yourself why.

“I never pushed about anything in their relationship, but there were times where she did mention him and him only.

“She never talked about Kevin, even when it came to picking up the kids, dropping the kids off late or whatever.

“She never talked as if he existed. She only ever mentioned Justin.”

It is clear in the new memoir that the decision to abort Justin’s baby still haunts Britney.

The pair were cast mates on Disney's Mickey Mouse Club before dating between 1999 and 2002.

After they split Britney went on to have her sons Sean Preston in 2005 and Jayden James in 2006 with her second husband Federline.

Meanwhile, Can’t Stop the Feeling singer Justin married The Illusionist actress Jessica Biel, 41, and the couple share sons Silas, eight, and Phineas, three.

A source told The U.S. Sun last week that Britney’s revelations in the memoir will have left Justin and his family reeling.

Recalling one telling moment while they were dating which highlighted how much Justin still meant to Britney, Adnan explained: “I saw her catch sight of the TV, where a show, playing on mute, showed pictures of her and him at a red carpet event

“I just remember her stopping and staring at the TV.

“She didn’t want to know what was being said but it mesmerized her, like it was just something she needed to see.

“And I held back on asking anything as a matter of respect.”

Adnan told The U.S. Sun last week that Britney never mentioned her abortion with Justin when they were going out.

He also said that at one point she thought she was pregnant with Adnan’s baby but her “heart sank” when the test came back negative.

Now he says he feels that the conversations they had about family were linked to her relationship with Justin.

Adnan explained: “She would ask me questions that make more sense today - like she was having questions answered by the new guy to make sense of the relationship she had with Justin.

“One time she asked me if I would have had kids with someone if I was in my twenties.

“I said there’s no timeline on when you have kids, there’s no right or wrong time.

“I think she was asking me, subtly, whether it was right for him not to want to have kids at that time.”

Britney discusses her relationship with Adnan in her new memoir, although she never mentions him by name.

She tells how he had previously worked as a paparazzi photographer but she liked him because he was “chivalrous and helped me out when the others got too aggressive���.

The book reveals how their relationship was brought to an abrupt end at the start of the conservatorship, which lasted until November 2021.

Adnan added that it was clear at the time that Britney saw her relationship with Justin with rose-tinted glasses.

i cant believe my impatience with fucking oc transpo broke another possible cool stick i had last night. idk i thought i could bring it to palestine one day and maybe help with the peace process. the rail replacement bus at bayview closed its doors and started driving off as i was running down the stairs and screaming for absolutely no reason. i decided to throw my stick to get the drivers attention but i threw it hard enough that it broke against the bus as it was leaving. i was so mad i was like YOUU BROOKEE THE PEAAACE. they stopped and i kept screaming NO FUCK OFF ILL WALK but because of the path we took i almost speared through their window with a much bigger branch when they were on preston and i was behind the community centre. i didnt do it but i was tempted and i screamed again. if i walked just a little bit faster i wouldve seen them catching up to me earlier.

Britney Spears has what insiders have described as a "bombshell" in her upcoming memoir, and multiple sources tell TMZ ... that bombshell is that Justin Timberlake got her pregnant and after some heart-wrenching discussions they agreed she would get an abortion.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the book tell TMZ ... Britney felt Justin was the love of her life when they were together, and around late 2000 she learned she was pregnant.

She says in the book she was raised not to get an abortion ... part of it was religious and part was just what she learned from her family.

In the book, Britney writes, "I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated." But, she says Justin felt they weren't ready, because they were too young -- both were around 19 at the time.

According to the book, Britney says she was "conflicted," but after some difficult, emotional discussions, they both agreed getting an abortion was the right decision.

Justin and Britney dated between 1999 and 2002. Two sources tell TMZ it was so serious, Britney wanted to marry Justin, but that obviously did not work out.

The decision to have an abortion haunted Britney for years ... something she spoke about in private.

Britney ended up having her first child -- Sean Preston -- with husband Kevin Federline in 2005 and she had Jayden James in 2006.

We reached out to Justin's reps ... so far, no word back.
