Hey!
So I have an idea for Sebs.. what if you did (assuming you do small fics or Headcannons) Sebs feeling really down for whatever reason (could be because of his past n how he got experimented on and stuff) and he could be having nightmares or stuff and g/n reader tries to comfort him??
Sebastian getting comforted headcanons
Tumblr media
Sebastian's jumpy and outbursting behavior doesn't go uncomforted!
— Spooky Urbanshade nightmares😱😱 Also don't worry, I LOVE doing headcanons😛
Warnings: Nightmares; Outbursts; 'Bad' words☹️; Sebastian knows Reader, they are very acquainted with each other; Very big trust between Reader and Sebastian, like A LOT; This is like a mix of headcanons and a fic; Crying; Headcanons for Z-13 and Sebastian
Visiting Sebastian once again, you get greeted with silence. You stood up dusting off your knees.
“Uhh, you good”?
He snaps out of his thoughts, unnoticeably flinching. To other people it would be hard to notice, but you did. Your eyebrows rose at that.
“Uhm yes— My name is Sebastian”.
“... Yea I know”.
Sebastian realizes that it was you! Not some other prisoner. Oops.
“O-Oh! It’s you”...
“Mhm”.
That encounter kind of put you on the edge. Being more aware of Sebastian, especially how he’s feeling. He was very jumpy. At times seeming even pissed that you came to see him.
Before the negative behavior, he cracked jokes every time he knew you were there. Sometimes even sending over flirty(sounding) comments.
He seems out of it.
The more times he visited, the more hints he gave you that something was going on. His stutters, him grabbing his clothing or hair, staring off into oblivion.
Maybe you should talk to him. Or get him to open up. Does he even trust you that much?
Talk to him.
TALK to him.
TALK TO HIM.
“Hey Sebastian”?
Again, snapping out of his daze, he sweeps away a part of his side bangs. His two upper hands cupping each other, sweating? His other hand gripped the bottom of his jacket.
“Uh— Yes”..?
.
.
.
“Are you okay”?
Sebastian’s right claw grips his left claw even harder. His right claw scratched the backside of his left, leaving beads of blood to slowly appear.
His body stiffs, biting his inner lip. Eyes widening. A light shiver.
Silence.
A scowl grows on his face, looking away from you.
“Yes I’m just fine”.
He looks down, noticing his bleeding left claw.
He blinks rapidly, physically taken aback by what he’d done to his hand. He coughs into his arm from shock. He didn’t even notice.
… Do you really affect him that much?
He’s used to feel hurt, pain. Not comfort.
He hasn’t felt that in a long time. Comfort. From a human.
Looking back at his hand, he shakes. Shaky gasps, a shaking body, and shocking thoughts.
Don’t shake. Not in front of a human.
Don’t—
Don’t do that.
Don’t say it.
“Actually I’m—” Sigh
“I’m not okay”.
Z-13
He’s very surprised and somewhat disappointed in himself that he could trust a human this much
It takes 5 minutes of sitting in silence for him to open up
Just a test… Yes just a test to see if you’ll stay
That you won’t leave.
When he starts to speak, it comes out shaky, as if he wants to cry, you’ll have to get him to REALLY open up if you want that
It’s hard to express your feelings, especially when you’re so traumatized
He wouldn’t initiate physical affection first, you’d have to
He doesn’t want to seem weak
Right?
Opening up, he talks about these nightmares, remembering the feeling of those experiments
The shots, not of anesthesia, of DNA.
He needed to be awake during it all.
He’s surprised he was even alive after.
The painful days of morphing, the extra eye, his bulb, it all hurt.
Okay okay I’ll try to tone it down.
Instead of crying(In front of you) he throws his head into his hands, his third arm resting on the connected piece of his tail and his torso
You can hear his little gasps, and eventually gently hold his claws, slowly separating them from his face
He’s still looking down
You look down too, seeing his tears laying on his scales.
Looking back at him, you reassure—
“You can cry in front of me Sebastian, it’s okay”.
Placing his claws on his tail, you open up your arms.
“You want a hug”?
He looks back up at you letting out a lightly audible gasp, quickly pulling you into a hug, his claws nearly the size of your torso
‘Oh wow’.
He crosses claws over, so his arms are right up against your back. With his head laying on your shoulder.
He didn’t even know he could cry anymore.
Or sweat.
… Maybe he’s still a human?
You hug him back of course, your arms going under his top ones, rubbing his back.
He wraps his tail around the both of you, pulling you closer, letting you feel his cold breath.
After a few minutes you slowly sit down, because of his weight and having to stand up.
Sebastian slowly lets go, catching you off guard.
“Oh you don’t have to let go! We can—”
“No it’s fine, I actually just don’t want a hug anymore”.
“Oh”
“And my back hurts so yeah”.
He continues to talk about the pain, trauma, with his hands rubbing against each other
His palms are sweaty, somehow
You notice the blood on the back of his hand, and act out while listening. You take a medkit you bought while nodding, saying that you’re hearing his words.
He pauses.
“You— You’re gonna—”
“Heal you? Yeah, I’m still listening though”.
He continues to speak, really hoping that you’re actually listening
By the end of ‘spilling out his feelings’, his hand is bandaged, twinning with his third arm
A weight is off his back and he feels relieved
He really appreciates your comforting words, even the ones that weren’t comfort and showing that you were listening
He thinks it’s a miracle that he could’ve ever met a human like you
You’re special in his eyes
He might tear up again, not full on cry, but just dripping tears down his face
You’ll probably both end up sleeping on top of each other, somehow your gear not detonating, maybe it’s because of that scrambler on his back
Sebastian Solace
You wake up in the middle of the night, seeing Sebastian right across you.
He’s sweating, a lot.
You raise an eyebrow, wondering how he’s so sweaty.
Sebastian wakes up abruptly from your light tap, using his arms to pick himself up, scaring the hell out of you.
“AH”!
You flinch, really hard. It’s silent until you break it.
“You good?” You laugh
After realizing that nothing is going on, he lets his face fall back into his pillow while his arms go limp.
“Yeah,” He groans
“No, not really”.
You manage to soften him up a bit, to where he’s sitting in your lap, taller or not he’s still sitting there(He's 5'10)
He rests his head on top of yours, sighing
“You wanna talk now”?
“... Yeah”.
He speaks his mind, talking about having these dreams of being experimented on
But in very vague detail, as if this has happened
Or going to happen.
“And it scares me.. W- What if it actually happens”?!
“If you got framed for murder then I would become your own personal lawyer”.
“I’M SERIOUS”!
“So am I. If it happens I will search for you until the end of time, Solace”.
He looks at you, backing up from you, adjusting himself so he could directly look at you
How did he get so lucky
He hugs you as you lightly rock him side to side
“... I’m not a baby y’know”.
“Yea but I would think you’d want to be babied, Sebastian”.
You felt him get physically hotter from that
After a good 5-10 minutes of rocking, you hear small snores, saying that he’s asleep
You also feel small wet spots on your shoulder, damn, this really affected him huh?
You both laid back down, moving onto your sides as he cuddles up into your chest
He’s never really done this before
On nights like this he feels pretty vulnerable, and would really appreciate being the small spoon
But will NOT tell anybody
Not like he could
Small circles being rubbed on his back, sweet words, a few kisses and you got him wrapped around your finger
He likes to listen to your heartbeat, it shows that you’re alive, and a person
He can be really soft
ONLY at home
Now his nightmares are like losing you or something
A nice shower the morning after would be nice
I’d like to think that Sebastian isn’t really 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂, so he’s pretty chill and just hugging you from behind, his head on your shoulder
Of course, his lower half having some space from your bottom
“You want me to wash you too”? You joke
“... That wouldn’t be that bad actually." He 'jokes'.
He probably enjoys bath bombs, but doesn’t want to get in them
It might dye his weiner or something
He’d want to stay in bed the whole morning
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
By the way, Sebastian canonly has this big scar across his face, over his nose, just wanted to tell you
I hope I didn't make him seem like an uwu boi that needs protection☹️

Fishstick Cuddles
Pairing: Sebastian Solace x GN Reader Word Count: 650 Content: Fluff, established romantic relationship, literally just cuddling a fish Summary: Short drabble where you cuddle a fish.
AO3 ver.
Tumblr media
Your peaceful sleep was just being interrupted as you stirred uncomfortably, awaking to an annoying creaking sound. Twisting around from under the blanket, your eyes fluttered open as you spotted Sebastian slithering into the room. He spotted you, a cringe-like expression on his face disappearing as he noticed your eyes were open.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to wake you.” He sighed, removing his hand off the door and muttering something to himself. You reached up to rub your eyes, sitting up slightly and fixing your awkward sleep position. You didn’t like being woken up, EVER, but this time you could forgive. It was Sebastian, after all.
“It’s fine,” You whispered back groggily, rubbing the sleep from the bags under your eyes. It was extremely rare you ever got a fulfilling sleep, and you’d probably been conked out in the back of Sebastian’s shop for only a couple hours, but you weren’t mad at him at all.
Sitting up on the makeshift mattress, you looked back at Sebastian, who now had his back turned to you, tinkering with some items over a table in the corner of the room. He was grumbling to himself, as always, using his bulb as a lamp to inspect the object he held in his claws. You didn’t really think he needed the light, considering he could probably see just fine in the dark.
Then your own metaphorical light bulb appeared over your head.
“Hey, Seb?”
“Hm?” He paused his grumbling and glanced at you for a moment, his pupils flickering back onto what you now realized was a broken flash beacon in hand.
“Come cuddle, please.”
He nearly froze right there as he processed your words. It’s not like you weren’t already together, it just took him aback, and it wasn’t something he was used to. It only took him a moment to recollect himself though, as he cleared his throat. “One minute.”
You smiled to yourself, scooching to the side of the ‘bed’ to create some space for Sebastian, tossing around the stitched up blanket and fluffing up your pillows that were more like chair cushions. Nonetheless, it was something, but you felt bad that this is how Sebastian had to live.
When that ‘one minute’ passed, Sebastian slithered his way over to you, only dressed in his undershirt. He silently lowered himself down and laid his body next to you, wriggling around for the warmth of the thin blanket. It was slightly amusing to watch him flop around like a fish with his tail and everything, but you saved him the embarrassment once he slipped under the blanket with you. Most of his tail could barely fit under the blanket, despite how big it was originally made to accommodate him, curling around into a mess as it usually was. What was he gonna do with a tail this long, eh?
You sidled up next to him, first smushing your head against his chest and using it as a pillow, neglecting the makeshift ones you had. You felt him tense at the contact, as always, but soon relaxed as he reminded himself to. Your hand slowly reached out to rest on his side, before finally you wringed your leg over his waist, smirking smugly to yourself. Even if he couldn’t see it, he could definitely smell it.
Sebastian’s arm first tugged down his bulb before slowly moving to hug you back, his arm wrapped around your body as his hands reached up to play with your hair. His body temperature regulated to something pretty cold, but it didn’t bother you with the blanket, you’d just provide him more warmth.
“Happy?” He hummed, receiving a very gleeful nod in response as you rubbed your forehead against his chest. He smiled to himself, feeling his cold heart blossom in warmth as you shared your body heat with him.
A soft kiss was planted atop your head. “Good.”

Yandere Alphabet Sebastian Solace
Tumblr media
From the author: hello everyone. I apologize for the abrupt disappearance after the first posts. There was a lot of shit going on in real life. And now especially, especially when I almost had a panic attack. This post... a small attempt to somehow cope with all the emotional problems. Ahem, I apologize for the mistakes, because English is not my native language and I used a translator. Yes, and I just got over it now... Tears, that's it. If I feel better (and a positive reaction will be enough), then I will write a small sketch using this post.
Warning: dr#g use without consent, threat of broken bones, threat of bondage, slight isolation, hint of c#nnib#lism. If you are for the fact that yandere Sebastian is gentle or dark, then you are absolutely not here. The author does not approve of the above written in real life.
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
— Due to so many years of literal torture and DNA implantation, Sebastian has forgotten how to show love and affection. At least, that's what many people imagine.
— Thanks to vague memories of his past, he often gives "gifts". These are usually very rare deceased marine life that he found while exploring the complex. Most often, he drags soft objects such as pillows and blankets to another person.
— It is worth considering that he will often be... Biting his beloved is not strong, of course, but deep enough and in prominent places so that the bite mark remains as long as possible.
— In rare moments, Sebastian can clamp his beloved with his tail and hands, preventing them from moving. Such moments last quite a long time — from several hours to even days. But don't be afraid, he will feed you.
— About feeding... Sometimes Sebastian intentionally brings dead marine life and forces the beloved to eat them raw, saying that he did not find a normal meal for you, and that's all he found, and there is no necessary equipment to cook.
— And I. Don't even think about giving up this "meal", because he can get very angry at you the longer and more persistently you refuse.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
— This case can be described as follows: rarely, but aptly.
— Sebastian hates people, especially getting dirty in their blood. But when the threat is directed either at him, or at the beloved, or at his refuge, then... Yes. It's better not to see it. In particular, you don't need to know where that poor guy's body goes next.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
— Despite his hatred of people, which he skillfully hides by contacting them in his store, especially if you are a person yourself, but in moments of his bad mood, Sebastian can mock you. Especially when you are trying to escape or are somehow stubborn, protesting against his actions and the like.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
— It all depends on how his beloved behaves. If they try to escape more than once, he will give them a "medicine" in order to keep them in a sluggish and weakened state in the shelter.
— Well, he also locks them in a shelter while he goes out to get supplies. For good behavior, they may not even tie you up and tie you to the railing of the stairs.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
— It's not much... It is difficult, especially when Sebastian vaguely remembers his life before his arrest and experiments.
— But if he is in a good mood, he can talk about his past. Especially about his cat, whom he misses.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
— Definitely an annoyance. And the stronger and longer the beloved resists, the stronger his irritation, turning into anger.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
— Sebastian does not consider this a game, even though he finds it funny to watch the escape attempts of the beloved and their plans for this. But still, he is serious that even for the sake of his "fun" he does not allow another to escape.
— So, yes. the DNA of the same white shark, which awakens in him the instincts of pleasure over the attempts of another to escape.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
— Oh, definitely quite strong and a decent dose of "medicine" if the beloved misbehaves for too long. Sebastian rarely uses physical punishments. Except when he is very, very driven. Then he will definitely break a couple of bones in his legs.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
— Sebastian just doesn't know. The arrest and experiments forced him to think about the present, not the future. Especially when there is a looming danger over him because of his mutations. And not only that.
— But somewhere in the tender moments with his beloved, he definitely thought about having a family with them. And also a safe place where they both don't need anything and no one bothers them.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
— As long as the other person does not speak directly and flirt, or God forbid, does not try to touch the other, then Sebastian is ready to be patient. And if any of this happens, he immediately throws this person out of his store and forbids him to come back. Believe me, this is the mildest thing he can do in bouts of jealousy.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
— Believe it or not, but it's pretty good, let it depend on the mood. Sebastian definitely likes to hold his beloved with his tail and sleep in this position, curled up in the "nest". Bite them, thereby marking them. As it was written above, he gives, albeit sometimes gloomy gifts: dead marine life, someone's bones. But it's definitely nice to get the same pillows and blankets from him. On particularly "lucky" days, he may even bring some simple puzzles, blank paper, and writing supplies. Or even the clean clothes of the employees! And also, as it was written, he definitely likes to watch the beloved eat the food he brought.
— However, do not try to annoy him in any way or, God forbid, make him angry. And even if nothing serious happens for the first time, it's better not to push your luck.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
— He will definitely compose a little poetry and read it to you. But mostly his love language, if you can call it that, is gifts, not particularly frequent physical contact, as well as... preening when Sebastian's mood is definitely high. He likes to mess with the hair of his beloved, untangling tangles with his claws and cleaning them from dirt. But it's definitely somehow caused by injected DNA and getting some instincts. Well, Sebastian can also be a good gentleman.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
— Yes. Quite a lot if you continue to test his patience.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
— It varies depending on how much his patience is exhausted. If he speaks from the most harmless to severe punishment, then it goes something like this: stronger and deeper bites that leave a scar; short-term deprivation of food; small doses of "medicine"; medium doses; a large dose; broken bones, usually legs.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
— Freedom, defined. Sebastian will definitely lock the beloved in the shelter while he goes on business. But even without that, he still has no intention of letting them out of his sight, especially when they are not the first to try to escape or behave badly.
— It will also definitely monitor your meals with extreme care and sleep patterns.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
— Surprisingly, he is quite patient. But even such patience has its limits.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
— Sebastian will refuse to believe that their beloved has died. By that time, he will have time to get very attached and it will be a blow to him. So be prepared for the fact that he will simply lose the remnants of his humanity and will babysit your body by locking himself in a shelter.
— Well, if it's an escape... It won't be difficult for him to find you. He knows this place like his own... "Five" fingers. Plus, his senses are highly developed, as are his newfound instincts.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
— Definitely not for both questions. And even if Sebastian hated people and if you are a person yourself, he will not let you go.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
— After the accusation that he did not commit, years of experimentation on him, torture, as well as the loss of some memories, you evoke in him... Something really different and new, amidst all this hatred and irritation. This feeling made him relax a little, feel the warmth in his chest and just made his barely controlled instincts calm down.
— You can say that he is really curious. Plus... Years of loneliness in this cruel situation are making themselves felt.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
— Definitely a confusion. Why do you want to come back at all? There, on the surface, you will find a much more cruel world than here, next to it. Yes, the conditions here are not so good, but it is much better than sitting behind bars in a dirty cell or, God forbid, being a test subject of these disgusting people.
— Despite the confusion, Sebastian understands these feelings. But he definitely didn't want to watch the situation worsen. He will definitely give you "medicines" to let you forget, but he will not work hard with it. After all, Sebastian does not want to be like the people who conducted experiments on him.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
— Not really.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
— It's definitely that Sebastian has become a monster, without a shred of humanity. Despite everything, he still misses the time when he was human, and these words will infuriate him. Plus, the same flashlight or flash in sensitive eyes. This disorients him for a few seconds.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
— Mentally? Not much. Physically? Quite a lot, and it depends on how much you've exhausted his patience.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
— It depends on a lot of things. From the time you are with him, situations have occurred, especially those related to your life. The longer you stay with him and the more situations there are related to your life, the more he will begin to take care of you. But as for the conquest, this is another story and much longer, because Sebastian lost that normal part of himself, acting on the basis of instincts and vague memories.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
— It depends on the situation.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
— Oh, Sebastian, which is a little surprising, will try to prevent this. He doesn't want a man like you to become even a little bit like him.

pas de deux
pairing: Sebastian Solace/Reader (can be platonic or romantic)
reader's race & gender are ambiguous; no pronouns or physical descriptors are used.
summary: “What are you doing?” You ask suspiciously. “Following you, of course,” Sebastian answers, as if it’s a stupid question. It’s a bit of a tight fit with the two of you in the submarine, considering Sebastian’s gargantuan tail. It wraps around the space and you find yourself standing uncomfortably in the middle—feeling akin to prey trapped in the coils of a snake’s tail.

warnings: canon-typical injury, violence, and death
Tumblr media
author's note: ty anna for the beta <333 @connorhasabigtip any remaining mistakes are mine!
“Any particular reason you’re following me?” You finally ask, stopping in the twentieth room and turning around to stare at Sebastian. The hybrid usually greets you after your death, providing you with research on the creatures that roam the Blacksite. He also sneaks in around level 47 to sell you items. But he’s never actually followed you like this before—appearing at the submarine dock and accompanying you on your exploration. You were under the impression that he was a wanted man—but, then again, he does have that weird transmission jamming device to keep himself undetectable…
“Just monitoring your progress, is all,” Sebastian shrugs, tapping his fingers restlessly. He’s clearly bored. You haven’t bothered to engage with him until now—instead pretending as if he isn’t following behind you. But you can only pretend for so long. You’ve always performed these expeditions on your own and, despite your annoyance, it’s nice to have some company for once. Even if that company takes the shape of a human hybrid who seems to hate your guts. Sebastian’s voice breaks you out of your thoughts. “Besides, it’s more fun to be up close and personal. Watch your guts spray everywhere and all that.”
You grit your teeth and ignore the macabre remark, instead continuing through the Blacksite and searching for items. Right now, you only have a small handheld flashlight—and the battery’s pretty low. If you want to get to the crystal, you’ll need more materials. Of course, Sebastian could be helping you look. Instead, he’s only hovering behind you ominously. He has virtually no concept of personal space, as he practically breathes down your neck each time you pause to rifle through drawers.
“You’re even smaller in person, you know,” Sebastian remarks, apropos of nothing. You feel that familiar irritation rising in your chest once more, but you quickly suppress it. He’s just trying to provoke you.
“You’re ten feet tall,” you remind him. You’re human—of course he’s going to tower over you.
“And?” Sebastian drawls. You just roll your eyes and keep searching, valiantly pretending you don’t have a relentless annoyance watching your every move. You enter the next room, only to hear the overwhelming sound of rushing water. Shaking your head, you keep exploring—occasionally glancing behind you warily.
The next hall is dominated by the same sound of rushing water. The lights aren’t flickering, so you think there aren’t any anglerfish. At least, until Sebastian’s voice breaks through the static in your mind. “You’d better hide,” Sebastian suggests with a smirk, his last word drawn out for effect. “Unless you want to be fish food.”
You freeze and try to listen for a moment, before deciding to trust his advice. You run for a locker and hide in it, just barely making it in time before the pink anglerfish is rushing past. Surprised that Sebastian was actually telling the truth, you wait a few seconds for it to pass before exiting the locker. The hall is dark now, and there’s no sign of Sebastian. Shrugging, you feel your way around in the dark and manage to find the door to the next hall. The metal slides open, only to reveal Sebastian leering down at you. Your heart jumps out of your chest and you can’t hide the surprised gasp that crawls its way out of your throat.
Sebastian cackles, before moving away from the doorway and allowing you to enter. And to think, you were just about to thank him for saving your life… You shake your head in disbelief. You really don’t understand this guy.
Admittedly, Sebastian’s presence is rather distracting. It’s hard to focus when he’s looming over you menacingly. You try your best not to show your wariness, because you know it’s just what he wants to see. Even so, you’re finding it difficult to focus on your surroundings. And when the lights flicker in warning, you’re too preoccupied with finding a locker to notice the anglerfish is only a mere few rooms away. Before you can hide, you’re promptly attacked and killed.
As your vision fades to black, you hear Sebastian’s laugh echoing in your mind. When you open your eyes to find yourself sitting at that desk once more, you glare at him. He could’ve warned you about the anglerfish.
“Hey, I helped you once,” Sebastian shrugs noncommittally. “Besides, I’m not your little buddy.” His voice drips with venom as he slides the anglerfish research document across the desk. There’s nothing new on the document.
You just sigh, pushing the file away from him and heading back to the submarine. It’s only when you turn the corner and make it to the dock that you realize he’s following behind you. “What are you doing?” You ask suspiciously.
“I thought the novelty had ‘worn off,’” you manage to finally say, once you see that Sebastian is remaining still.
Sebastian just stares at you in an eerie silence. You shake your head and keep quiet as the submarine emerges from the water. Then, you start investigating the nearby drawers and cabinets, before heading through to the first door.
And so it continues. You open a door, look around in the hall, and enter the next room with Sebastian on your heels. When you hear an anglerfish approaching, you jump in a locker; you remember to routinely look behind you for Wall Dwellers; and you search for resources. But you can only fight off your curiosity for so long. “Why haven’t you been doing this the whole time?” You ask Sebastian. He could’ve been helping you from the beginning.
A laugh. “Can’t make things too easy for you,” Sebastian answers. “Besides, this is your job, not mine.”
That’s right. Sebastian isn’t helpful. He doesn’t serve anyone except himself. The only reason he’s accompanying you now is because it benefits him in some way. “Right, because your job is just to provide me overpriced weapons and mediocre advice,” you mutter darkly.
“Easy there, shrimp,” Sebastian says, his eyes flashing in warning. You roll your eyes and keep walking, trying to pretend as if he isn’t there. It’s proving to be an increasingly difficult task, between his towering form and frequent sarcastic comments.
In the next few rooms, you find a flash beacon. You know it’ll come in handy when you inevitably reach the halls with broken lights. And it doesn’t take long before you find yourself needing to use it. Feeling turned around, you reach down and send a flash across the space. You can just barely register the layout of the space: three halls branching off from one another, each leading to a different door. Then you see Sebastian out of the corner of your eye… he reaches out… and everything goes dark.
When you find yourself in that ever familiar dark room once more, you can’t contain your annoyance. “What the hell was that for?” You immediately snap. Sebastian just looms over you, looking rather pleased with himself. He just killed you for no reason.
“I warned you,” he says.
“No, you didn’t,” you argue. “And I didn’t even flash it in your direction!” Sebastian just shrugs. You sigh heavily and head out of the room, not even waiting for him to place the file down. Somehow, it appears he’s still benefiting from this arrangement—he must be, since he’s still following you into the submarine again.
You’re quickly growing frustrated and impatient with your companion. Sebastian is constantly talking; he doesn’t seem to know what personal space is; and he enjoys seeing you in pain. You thought it would be nice to have company, but Sebastian is quickly proving to be nothing more than a meddlesome distraction.
“It’s almost like you don’t want me to get to the crystal,” you mutter darkly, after he attempts to scare you. You concentrate on searching through the remaining three drawers, before moving onto the next room.
Then you pause in the doorway, understanding crashing down on you. Suddenly everything makes sense: his inexplicable, almost childish behavior; his insistent presence; and his never-ending amusement. “You don’t want me to escape,” you realize aloud. Your blood runs cold and you feel a shiver run down your spine. The fluorescent lighting above hums loudly.
“Took you long enough.” He remarks. Your back is turned, but you just know Sebastian is smiling. “You’re stupidly trusting. Naive. It’s almost cute… but mostly pathetic.”
The lights above flicker in warning, but there’s a tense silence descending in the air. You’re still frozen in the doorway, listening for anglerfish. After a few moments, you conclude there aren’t any. Your fists clenched at your sides as you come to terms with Sebastian’s deceit, you try to keep walking—only for his voice to stop you.
“You forget yourself.” Sebastian whispers, his voice dark and deeply unsettling. You can’t see anything, but you can hear him moving behind you. His tail sounds as if it’s right behind you—like he’s coiling around you, ready to strike.
You grab your flash beacon in a tight-knuckled grip, ready to throw him off with a bright burst of light. You’re not sure how long you wait, entirely silent, before deciding to take a step forward. You wait a few seconds, then take another step. The room is drenched in darkness, and without the metal paneling on the floor to guide you, you have no idea where to go.
A whisper of a laugh and the sensation of breath at the back of your neck makes you whip around and fire off your flash beacon. It’s annoyed him in the past—it seems to take him off guard, at the very least. Maybe you can stun him long enough to make an escape.
The flash is blinding and your eyes water, sending tears down your cheeks. You can barely recognize Sebastian’s silhouette in front of you, and you can only hope that he freezes, or just lashes out at you-
The light fades and you’re left in the dark. You blink neon spots from your eyes, only to find two unmistakable blue orbs in the dark, a mere step away from you. “Did you really expect that to work?” Sebastian laughs cruelly.
Suddenly the flash beacon is ripped out of your hand and smoothly crushed, crackling in the air. You can hear the moment the fragments hit the ground, the impact echoing throughout the space. Your heart is roaring in your ears. Then, something disrupts the silence: the telltale shift of a door falling open. You turn around to find a green “56” illuminated on the wall. You’re almost paralyzed in fear, torn between making a run for it and staying in Sebastian’s sights.
He seems to sense your indecision, because he hums thoughtfully. “I’ve decided to be generous.” Sebastian says vaguely. Before you can wonder what that means, he’s continuing. “I’ll give you a twenty second head start.”
Twenty seconds isn’t nearly long enough for you to run away. You stare at his piercing blue eyes in disbelief.
There’s no way for you to discern the expression on his face in this darkness, but you just know he’s smirking. “Nineteen…” He whispers, sounding dangerously close to your ear. You instinctively bat at the space just next to your face, but there’s nothing. “Eighteen…”
It’s hopeless. That’s not nearly enough time to put a significant distance between the two of you.  Not to mention, you have no idea what the next rooms contain. If they’re submerged in water, you’re really screwed.
“Fifteen… fourteen…” Sebastian’s voice jolts you back into reality. Adrenaline running through you, you race towards the next hall.
It doesn’t matter where you choose to go—you know he’ll find you. And Sebastian knows the futility of your attempted escape, if the malicious laugh echoing down the halls is any indication.
There’s no telling what he’ll do when he finds you.
…And he will find you.
You clamp a hand over your mouth to quiet your breathing and close your eyes, pretending you’re absolutely anywhere else. But you can only stay in the cramped locker for a few moments, before you’re beginning to panic. When you exit the locker, you can hear him in the distance. Gritting your teeth, you decide to just keep running.
Eyefestation is in the next hall, attempting to drag your attention towards it. You instinctually fight it off, at first, until you come to a realization.
You don’t want to give Sebastian the satisfaction of catching you. You don’t want to participate in this perverted game of his.
And, if you’re going to die anyways… you might as well have some control over it.
Mind made up, you turn back towards Eyefestation and stare right back at it—until your vision is flooded with blinding green and countless blinking eyes. You fall to the ground, and the last thing you hear before succumbing to darkness is a frustrated scream.
You wake slowly, as if wading through a thick sludge. When your eyes finally manage to open, you find yourself in the same room as always, sitting in front of Sebastian’s desk. There’s a harsh sound as Sebastian slams his hand on the desk in frustration. He doesn’t even give you the file on Eyefestation, instead glaring at you furiously. His fists are clenched so tightly that it looks as if he’s shaking. Despite the fear coursing through you, you still feel… satisfied. You didn’t allow yourself to be a pawn in his game.
And he knows it. There’s tension written all across his face. He almost seems to surround the entire space, his tail swishing violently behind him. “Get out.” Sebastian orders, clearly displayed. His voice is raspy and smooth all at once. There’s a dangerous calm in the way his body stills as he locks eyes with you. “Before I rip you limb from limb.”
You’re not sure if that’s an empty threat or a founded one, and you decide you don’t want to find out. You don’t hesitate to get up and run out the door, your heart racing as you sprint to the nearest submarine. Even when you’re enclosed within walls of metal, you can’t get rid of the goosebumps prickling along your skin—and the unquestionable notion that you’ve just made a terrible mistake.

Idk if requests are open but an idea has been chewing at my side like a piranha for a few days now.
Sebastian, scavenging, searching and coming across whatnot, meets another humanoid such as himself. though, imagine reader is much like a certain character from another media. Twisted wonderland, floyd leech.
Basically, Sebastian meeting a floyd leech-like reader, maybe with a twin too? Not sure, though am leaving it in your servos to do what you want with it.
It's likely I'll come back, though am not sure if I'll have the courage to do so, idk how to ask properly. Have a great rest of your week

Tumblr media
“Hehe, they are certainly squishy,” you giggled with a toothy grin, pressing the Squiddle against the hard wall with a bit more force than necessary. Its makeshift face shifted fast in a futile attempt to scare you, but you only blinked at it with glowing eyes, more amused than anything.
The poor creature had made the mistake of jumping at you in the dark, getting startled by you passing through, and now it was paying the price for its recklessness. You pressed harder, watching its panicked reaction with mild interest. But your boredom quickly sets in, and you soon let go of it's head, already losing interest in the squid-like monster.
“Oh well,” you sighed with an eye roll, casually pushing the Squiddle away. You made your way to dove back into the flooded part of the facility, swimming through giant pipes in search of your next source of entertainment.
And then you saw him.
Peeking out of the water, your tail wagged in excitement as you spotted Sebastian Solace on one of his usual scavenging runs, rummaging through debris with that familiar look of intense focus. He was completely unaware of your presence, and that made your grin widen. You knew just how to make his day a little more…interesting.
As always, you were determined to ensure he had a bit of unexpected fun, courtesy of your playful nature. The perfect prank was already forming in your mind, and you could barely contain your anticipation.
You grinned mischievously as you watched Sebastian from the shadows, your sharp eyes tracking his every move. The man was engrossed in his scavenging, completely oblivious to your presence as he rifled through the debris in the flooded section of the facility. Perfect. You hadn’t had this much fun in ages, and Sebastian’s all-knowing and self-confident nature made him the ideal target for your latest prank since you knew he wouldn't see that coming.
Slithering silently out of the water, your tail curling beneath you for extra balance, you scanned the area for something to use. Your eyes landed on a file—one of the many random documents scattered around the facility. A grin spread across your face as an idea formed.
With quick, precise movements, you tied a nearly invisible string that you found in a drawer, to the corner of the file. You could barely see it yourself, and you knew Sebastian wouldn’t notice until it was too late. Holding the other end of the string firmly in your hand, you settled back, ready to enjoy the show.
Sebastian moved toward the file, his eyes narrowing as he spotted it lying on the ground. “What’s this doing here?” he muttered, bending down to pick it up.
Just as his fingers brushed the edge, you gave the string a gentle tug, causing the file to slide away from his grasp.
Sebastian blinked in confusion, staring at the file as if it had just insulted him. “What the—?” He reached out again, but you pulled the string a little harder this time, making the file skitter across the floor, just out of reach.
His brow furrowed, clearly puzzled. He stood up, glancing around suspiciously. You had to clamp a hand over your mouth to keep from giggling out loud as you watched him. This was going even better than you’d hoped.
Sebastian cautiously approached the file again, crouching down with a look of determination. He was careful this time, moving slowly as if trying to catch the file off guard. But just as he was about to grab it, you yanked the string sharply, sending the file shooting across the floor and into the shadows.
“Okay, what in the world is going on here?” Sebastian exclaimed, clearly frustrated now. He scanned the area, his three fluorescent eyes narrowing as he tried to make sense of the ridiculous situation.
You couldn’t hold back your laughter anymore, a soft, bubbling giggle escaping your lips as you watched Sebastian’s bewildered expression. His head snapped in your direction, his eyes narrowing even further.
You quickly ducked behind a stack of debris, trying to stifle your giggles as you heard Sebastian approaching. He was muttering under his breath, clearly irritated but still confused.
You peeked out from your hiding spot, your tail wagging with glee as you saw him cautiously searching the area. He was so close to discovering you, but the thrill of the prank was too much to resist.
Just as Sebastian reached the spot where the file had disappeared, you gave the string one last tug, pulling the file into the water with a splash.
Sebastian jumped back, startled. “Oh, for the love of—!”
You couldn’t help it—you burst into full-blown laughter, doubling over as you watched Sebastian’s exasperation. He finally spotted you, his eyes widening in realization.
“You!” he exclaimed, pointing a finger at you, his frustration melting into a mixture of amusement and annoyance. “You little eel!”
You grinned up at him, flicking your split tongue playfully. “Gotcha, didn’t I?”
Sebastian sighed, shaking his head, though the small, reluctant smile tugging at his lips betrayed his amusement. “You’re going to be the end of me, you know that?”
“Maybe,” you teased, flashing him a playful wink. “But at least you’ll never be bored!”
He chuckled, the sound low and warm, as he glanced at the file you had just made him chase around. “I suppose that’s true,” he admitted, a hint of fondness in his voice.
“Exactly,” you grinned, swimming a little closer, your tail flicking in the water. “Consider it my personal mission to keep things interesting.”
Sebastian shook his head again, but this time, his smile was full and genuine. “Well, mission accomplished,” he said softly, his eyes locking with yours. “Just try not to get us both killed in the process, alright?” He knew you wouldn't dare to put you two in actual troubles but he still felt like mentioning it since your pranks were a thing for itself.
You laughed, the sound echoing through the water. “No promises, Solace. But I’ll do my best.”

Home - Nanami Kento x gn reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My first time writing for jjk 🥺. I wrote this since it's been one year since I've moved! Also Nanami has been on my brain a lot I love him so much🥺
Tumblr media
Home - A building. The place where one lives permanently. A place of residence.
Kento Nanami had always lived a life ruled by precision. Before becoming a jujutsu sorcerer, he was a salaryman, whose world was ruled by the ticking of the clock and the endless grind of work that seemed to stretch far beyond the typical nine-to-five. The demands of office life had been unrelenting, and overtime became a bitter companion—a curse, really—one that clung to him like a shadow, draining the life out of each day. To him, home was nothing more than a structure—a place to sleep, to eat, to exist until the next day of work demanded him.
The shift from salaryman to sorcerer didn’t change his hatred for overtime. The battles with curses were different yet still demanded long hours. His new life as a sorcerer involved the same exhaustion, accompanied with a heightened sense of danger and responsibility. The only difference was that now, his office was the world of curses, and his battles were far more dangerous than a jammed printer and unsent emails.
Each evening, after a gruelling day of sorcery, Nanami would leave his mission - uniform dishevelled and his expression weary. The streets of Tokyo were a blur as he made his way to his apartment—a small space that offered little comfort beyond its four walls. He would enter, set down his gear, and let out a sigh that echoed through the empty rooms - a familiar silence that he treasured (after dealing with Gojo’s constant yapping the whole day)
Nanami would usually eat a simple dinner that he prepared in advance despite his advanced palette, sometimes instant noodles were the only thing he could muster up the energy to prepare. He would then collapse onto his bed- his sleep was a brief escape from the endless cycle of battles and overtime. Even in his dreams, he couldn’t escape the looming responsibilities that awaited him. The next morning, the alarm would blare, and the cycle would begin again.
As the gloomy months passed something began to change - a faint light, that was almost unnoticeable at first, began to flicker in the Nanami’s life. It wasn’t the glaring glow of his computer screen or the cold fluorescence of the office; it was something softer, warmer - something comforting. At first, he didn’t understand what was happening -he continued his routine mechanically, precisely as always.
His once silent apartment began to fill with the sound of quiet laughter, the scent of home-cooked meals, and the warmth of another presence. You had entered his life by chance—a friend of a friend who had become something much more unlike anyone Nanami had ever known. You were patient, understanding, with kindness that seeped into the very walls of his apartment, transforming it from a mere building into a place of comfort, of belonging.
Nanami found himself longing to leave missions earlier each day. The weight of overtime, which had once been so suffocating, seemed to lift as thoughts of you filled his mind. The days that once stretched endlessly now had a purpose beyond the grind of work. For the first time in years, Nanami felt the pull of something more significant than his job—he felt the pull of home. When Nanami would finally step through the door each evening, he was greeted not by the cold emptiness that had once awaited him but by the warmth of your smile. You would have dinner ready, and sit together and talk as the outside world faded into insignificance. Your presence filled the apartment with life, with a joy that Nanami had never known he was missing.
One evening, as Nanami sat on the couch with you nestled beside him, he realised something that brought a rare smile to his face. He had always thought of home as just a place—a structure to retreat to after the weariness of work but you had changed that and made him understand what home truly was.
Home was no longer just four walls and a roof; it was where his heart found rest, where the burdens of the day melted away in the warmth of your embrace. Home was where he found peace, where he was reminded that life was more than just the hours spent fighting curses.Nanami looked at you, your head resting on his shoulder, and felt a deep sense of gratitude. He had spent so long believing that his life was defined by the endless cycle of work and overtime, but you had shown him that there was something more you had become his new “home”—a place of comfort, love, and peace.
From that day on, Nanami no longer dreaded the end of his workday. He knew that no matter how difficult his battles became, no matter how many hours he spent working, there was something waiting for him at the end of each day that made it all worthwhile. There was a light in his life that no amount of overtime could extinguish—a light that guided him home, where you would be waiting, ready to welcome him with open arms.

Rekindled Joy
Tumblr media
It was 2011, and school had started again in America. You were 18, and you had begun to major in ____ in your college. It was a new chapter in your life. It's been at least 2 months into your school year. It was currently a Friday, and it was after school. You were waiting for your friend so you could hang out and you heard your phone ping a notification from them.
“Sorry I can't hang out today as planned. A family emergency happened. Rn rushing to the hospital.”
Great, now you were just waiting there on the benches, looking like a moron. You were about to walk away when you heard the tune of an electric guitar playing in the distance. Curiosity got the better of you. It's not like you had anything else to do today, so what's the harm?
You walked to where you heard the electric guitar coming from, and soon you found the person who was playing it. You stood at a distance away, but you stayed to keep listening to the guy playing while sitting on a bench. He had black hair and blueish green eyes, he also had a nose scar, and he looked to be around 5 '10".
He soon noticed you and stopped playing. Now awkward tension filled the air, as you two stared at each other.
You broke the tension by speaking first, “Are you in a band? You play well.”
He was stunned by your comment, “Not really, I’m minoring in music. I'm majoring in business, but I don't enjoy it, so I'm planning to change it to engineering”
You both soon start to talk to each other and become friends that day. You found out that he's the same age as you, and the both of you exchanged phone numbers to continue talking to each other. You both continued to talk to each other. Time passed by quickly, and it’s been around 3 months since you both started talking.
He soon asked you to be in a relationship with him, and you said yes. You’ve both been dating for a year, and you couldn’t be happier for him to be your boyfriend. You both had your first date, kissed, etc.
You both had your embarrassing moments together, like when you both got caught making out by his parents coming home early. You both got scolded, of course.
He taught you things about his country, Chile, since he is Chilean-American. You both met each other's family. His family was happy for him to be in a relationship. His older sister and little brother found you fun to hang around with.
He was anxious when he was going to meet your parents for the first time. He was nervous that they would disapprove of him due to him being from Chile. (If you're from one of Chile’s neighboring countries, he would probably try to make an excuse. (If you don't know Chile’s neighbors don't like them that much due to their history with them.))
Thankfully, everything turned out great for both of them. Soon, you both finished what you were majoring in college.
It is now 2013, you and Sebastian are both 20 years old and live in an apartment since you thought it was time for the next step in the 2-year relationship.
However, one faithful day would change everything….
You were back home waiting for Sebastian to come home. You then heard a knock on the door. You walk over to the door, thinking it was Sebastian and that he had forgotten his keys again.
But when you opened the door, it was 2 police officers.
One of them asked, “Excuse me ma’am but do you happen to have any connections with a man named Sebastian Solace?”
You were taken back but answered the officer, “Yes, I’m his partner of 2 years. What happened!? Is he hurt? Is he ok!? Is he dead!?”
Negative scenarios started to enter your head. Why else would the officer be here at your door!?
“Calm down, Miss, don’t worry he’s not dead. However, you may want to take a seat before we explain the situation that's about him.”
You were in the living room sitting with the 2 police officers sitting across from you.
“Your boyfriend, Sebastian Solace, is in the police’s custody for the murder of 9 people”
…Your blood ran cold after those words. There was no possible way. You know Sebastian wouldn’t kill people. You’ve never seen him act suspicious recently, or even ever. This must be a cruel prank, right!? He isn’t a murderer!? He wouldn’t lie to you, right?
The police’s voices were tuned out by your ears as you tried to get a grip of yourself. Soon, they leave your apartment after giving you notes for when to go to the station to be questioned.
As soon as you closed the front door, you felt your legs give up on you as you fell to the ground. You cried for what seemed like hours without an end. Your whole world had collapsed underneath you. What were you supposed to do now without him? You had everything planned with each other. It's now all down the drain.
You went to sleep crying, already missing his warmth. It was now tomorrow morning, and you went to the police station, so the police and detectives could begin questioning you. As you answered every question, truthfully, you were given tissue paper for your tears. The officers could tell you had no part in these murders and pitted you for having a monster for a boyfriend. But you knew Sebastian wasn’t behind these murders. He wasn't a monster.
Once you finished the questions, they took you to a room with Sebastian cuffed up to the table. You could tell he was furious, most likely from the detectives trying to make him ‘confess’ to the murders. But once he saw you across from him, his face changed completely to regretful. He was explaining to you what happened and that he didn't do the murders. You told him that you believed him. You both talked briefly before an officer said the detectives wanted to keep questioning him.
You gave Sebastian one last kiss before you left the room.
After a few days, he was taken to court for his sentence, cameras everywhere in the court, and everyone was watching the TV to see what ‘justice’ would be taken for these 9 victims that the ‘mass killer’ did. You went to the court, and you tried to convince the judge that Sebastian was innocent. However, it all fell on deaf ears, and in the end, he was sentenced to be executed. You heard everyone's cheer as the ‘mass killer’ was taken away by the police. You had tried to run towards him, but the police held you back, as you yelled and cried out to Sebastian. All Sebastian could do was look back at you before the doors closed behind him.
After that day, you were harrassed by news stations almost everywhere you went.
“Did you know that Sebastian Solace was murdering people behind your back?”
“How come you didn’t suspect him of anything?”
“Are you happy that justice was severed?”
“How does it feel being with a cold-blooded murderer like him?”
Question after question, you were still processing about him being sentenced to execution. You couldn’t even visit him, due to him being in ██████ High-Security Prison.
After some months, a police officer was at your door. He told you that Sebastian Solace’s execution had taken place, that he is now pronounced dead, and that you can collect his ashes that are in a sealed urn, along with his death certificate. You immediately went to the police station and collected the urn with his ashes and his death certificate.
You came back home with the urn and immediately felt like someone stabbed you in the heart as you placed down the urn. You still didn’t want to accept that he was gone from the world.
You spent days on end crying your heart out. Every newspaper and news channel was saying how ‘justice’ was brought to the world. You kept voicing that he was innocent and that you knew that he wasn’t responsible for the 9 murders. However, everyone believed that it was the first stage of grief, denial, that you are experiencing.
You planned his funeral, you, his parents, his older sister and little brother, your parents, and a few more of his family members who believe he was innocent, attended. After his funeral, you visited him every once a week, with fresh flowers every time, and sometimes brought tobacco, not for you, but to leave at his gravestone since he smoked it when he was alive.
After 2 years, it is now late 2015, and you are 22 years old. You turned on the news channel since you just got off work.
“Shocking turn of events today, it's been found that Sebastian Solace, the ‘murderer’ of 9 victims that took place 2 years ago. Was not the actual killer and was falsely charged. The killer is now in the police’s custody, and his court date is in 1 month.”
…You felt the feeling of adrenaline fill your body. You were correct, Sebastian, your boyfriend, was not the murderer. Yet no one heard your words. Because you were his partner and ‘that's what almost any partner of a killer would do’.
You decided to take justice into your own hands for your dead boyfriend. You knew that the sentence for the killer would most likely not be executed, like Sebastian, because it is considered too ‘inhumane’ now.
You waited patiently for the court day to arrive, and once it was the day, you grabbed a long coat and hid a revolver in the pocket. Thankfully, it was the middle of winter, meaning you wouldn't be looking out of place with your coat.
You sat in the front row, close to where the real killer would be standing to defend his case. It felt as if you went back to the time you cried out to Sebastian in court. Cameras were everywhere in the court. Everyone was watching the TV to see the so-called ‘justice’ for the real killer, again.
Once the killer came out and stood where he was supposed to, you immediately took out the revolver and shot 6 times, 4 of them hitting the killer, and he died on the scene.
You were immediately cuffed up and put in jail. But, you didn’t care. Justice was finally served in your eyes.
A life for a life.
You were sentenced to 40 years in prison due to 1st-degree murder, having a firearm in court, putting multiple people in danger, and traumatizing possible children who could have been watching in person or not.
You were put in  ██████ High-Security Prison, the same prison your boyfriend was serving in until his execution.
Tumblr media
It is now 2025, and you are still an inmate of  ██████ High-Security Prison. You have served 10 years of your 40-year sentence. You are now 32 years old. It has been 12 years since you last saw Sebastian in his court case.
Today, 3 men from the Urbanshade corporation, escorted by heavily armed guards, arrived at the prison.
They were searching for draftees to help them retrieve a crystal of sorts, a highly important asset that they weren’t able to secure during a major security breach in one of their facilities. They stated that the risk of death was very high, but whoever could retrieve the asset and return it to them, would be pardoned, released with a cleared record, and receive a huge amount of cash.
You saw that many inmates had signed up. You didn’t sign up. You didn't trust these strange men that came out of the blue.
Multiple days went by, and inmates were still signing up. You were surprised that no one was able to retrieve the crystal that they were talking about. You soon caved in and signed up.
If you were able to get the crystal and get out of this prison, you would be able to see your boyfriend's gravestone again.
It took a while to arrive due to the place being in the Norwegian Sea, and soon, everyone was gathered up. You were all given a jumpsuit and a Prisoner Diving Gear, also called PDG.
Everyone was told that the PDG is a diving backpack outfitted with a remotely detonated modified shotgun shell that works underwater and is pointed directly at the inmate user's neck. They would only give the inmate user 2 chances, and if they messed them up, then the HQ or stationed guards would flip the switch, and the shotgun would go off. They showed the list of the reasons why they would flip the switch to kill you.
You were all also told that a monster called Z-13, and that he is incredibly dangerous, that he is to be killed on sight, and they described what he looks like.
After everything was explained, everyone went their way. Some went solo, some went in duos, some in groups of 4 or bigger. You decided to go by yourself, not wanting anyone to mess you up.
After some time, you arrive at Hadal Blacksite, exiting the submarine, and hear HQ through the intercom. He gave a brief rundown about the keycards, monsters, closets, and warnings of this monster called Z-13 again.
You soon begin your journey to find the crystal. While you were passing through the rooms, you noticed that there was no blood or anything. It's already been a few days since inmates signed up with no success in getting the crystal. If they died before getting the crystal, then where are their bodies? Why did they leave behind data when they are supposed to collect as much as they can? That's what HQ said to do. Doors need keycards as if no one entered or used them, somehow.
You stopped asking questions once you saw the lights flicker, and you quickly hid in a metal closet. You continued this pattern of hiding, collecting data, closely hearing for anything coming out of nowhere, looking away from a monster that had so many eyes, etc. You soon found a flash beacon. You had no battery for your flashlight that was dead, and you were only on door 41.
Soon, you reached door 54 and entered. It was dark, empty, and quiet. That's when you saw a vent plate fly across the floor to the other side of the room.
You were frightened by the sudden movement, and that's when you heard a voice coming through the vent.
“Got something for ya, come here.”
You didn’t want to enter in case it was a monster trying to kill you, but when you tried to go to the next room, you realized the door needed a keycard.
“Don’t even wanna say hi? Rude.”
You sigh in defeat and crawl through the vent. Once you get to the other side, it is pitch black. Until all of sudden, a light lit up the small room, You looked up and started to panic. WHY IS THAT MONSTER SO TALL!? WAIT, IS THAT ‘Z-13’!?
“Welcome, welcome! Don’t be-”
The monster stopped what he was saying once he took a good look and realized it was you….
You were freaking out on the inside because he stopped talking. Thinking he would attack you, you immediately took out your flash beacon and used it directly at him.
“UGHH SHIT! WAIT (Y/N) IT'S ME!!”
You were confused now. You didn't know him? “What are you talking about? I’ve never seen you in my life!?”
Sebastian was hurt that you would say that, did the mutation make him that unrecognizable?
“Hun it's me, Sebastian. Do you not recognize me?”
There’s no way you're Sebastian. He's gone. “Nice trick, my lover is dead, he was executed.”
Ah, right, he was declared ‘dead’ to the public “I have proof, read the document on my desk, free of charge for you”
You still held the flash beacon in your hands as you moved to the table, where the document was. You opened it and started reading what it contained.
You saw that he was telling the truth… It is Sebastian.
You dropped your flash beacon and just jumped on him and hugged him as tight as you could, and he hugged you back. It felt that if you were to let go, you would lose each other again.
“As happy as I am to see you again, Love, only inmates are sent here. Why are you an inmate? Why even sign your life away to come down here?”
You answered his questions, “Well in 2015, when they found the real killer, I knew they wouldn't bring him to ‘justice’. So I did it myself, I killed him while in his court case. I was sentenced to 40 years in prison after that. Now, for me, coming down here. I didn’t sign up at first, I thought it was simple to get the crystal, and they were over-exaggerating the death risk. But after a few days, I realized no one had gotten it and with nothing else to do in prison. I signed myself up, if I were to die then I would be able to see you again, and if I got out alive, then I would continue visiting your grave with fresh flowers, just as I did every week before I was put in jail.”
Sebastian had a warm and fuzzy feeling that he hadn’t felt in years. However, that was short-lived. Because of the PDG, you would be killed if you didn't get going soon, but neither of you wanted to leave each other again.
“I’ll try to make a deal with HQ. It’s a high risk since, with a flick of a switch I’ll be killed. But at least I know you're still alive.”
Before he could say anything to stop you from possibly risking yourself, he felt your lips on his. God, how he missed kissing you, but it was short-lived again.
You then crawled back through the vent and ran back to a room that had a camera. You knew HQ always watched the inmates through the few cameras that currently worked.
“HQ, I want to stay down here, I will send back the PDG. This means you will save the shotgun shell, and you will save a few bucks. I can stay here and help other inmates try to have a higher chance of getting the crystal.”
You hoped that they heard you and that they wouldn't flip the switch.
“Inmate number ##, (Y/n)(L/n), We accept your offer. Please return to where you first entered. We will press the button to make the PDG remotely detach from you. Once you reach the room, and the PDG is detached, place the PDG on a table.”
Once they stopped talking on the intercom, you ran as fast as you could to where the submarine had first left you.
Just as promised, the PDG was detached from you, and you left it on a nearby table. Once that was over with, you ran back to Sebastian’s shop.
He felt relieved after he saw you again.
You jumped into his arms, and you both kissed each other. Your love for each other is rekindled and is now brighter than ever before. The both of you would never leave each other again.
Tumblr media
Small bonus!
Tumblr media
You pull away from the kiss and start wiping your mouth, “Sebastian, do you only eat fish? Also, when was the last time you brushed your teeth?”
Sebastian had a bit of an annoyed face because of your comment, but he smirked as he hugged you tighter, “Get used to it hun, because you're staying down here with me until the end, and there’s only fish down here.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled, “Now I'm wondering, who the fuck did I give a funeral and flowers to?”

Can't take my eyes off you....(Part 1)
eyefestation x hard of seeing reader... summary (I suck at making these): as you were charged of a crime that you didn't do you were sent to ###### high security prison on a death row, but you were given a chance to live free of charge if you retrieved a crystal. How was you supposed to know that it would be better to just die? warnings: some swears here and there nothing too bad...yet...
a/n: uhhh so yeah...I made it...yippe?
Tumblr media
(Ps y/n is hard of seeing in this fic, not entirely blind they have glasses but without their glasses they're as good as blind, also gn pronouns)
##-##-20##.
you are an inmate of ###### high security prison..
your crimes are irrelevant.
whether or not you were falsely charged is irrelevant.
you have served 93 days of your # year sentence.
Today, three men from Urbanshade Corporation, being escorted by heavily armed guards, arrived at the prison.
They were searching for volunteers to help them retrieve a crystal of sorts, a highly important asset they were unable to secure during a major security breach in one of their facilities.
they stated the risk of death was high but whoever could retrieve the asset return to them would be pardoned release with cleared record and receive ##### in cash
many of your fellow inmates signed up....
you signed up as well
you are expendable....
You are not expected to return...
Tumblr media
the submarine hummed softly in the depths, the sound echoing throughout its small surface area
you were the only inmate on the sub, the others....well, uh let's just say they couldn't make it.
So the sub was eerily quiet without the usual chatter and arguing from your cellmates. You leaned your head on the wall letting the cold metal cool the back of your head.
The sub began to ascend, and soon enough it came to a stop, and you heard the creak of a hatch opening, you lifted your head off the wall and headed to the open hatch
as you stepped onto the concrete (?) floor you heard a man from urbshade on a speaker talk about retrieving the crystal blah blah blah ect you didn't really care to listen to the low quality pre recorded message.
you crouched under some boxes and got a key card that goes to the first door and made your way to insert the key card, when a 'click' noise is heard the doors open and shows a room that is very plain besides a few drawers here and there. you walked across the room to door 2.
the next 10 doors nothing really happened...unless you count spending 10 minutes trying to find a damn key card then stuff happened.
door 12 opened to show a hallway like any other but what was different was that the lights started flickering...that confused you, at first you just thought it was electrical problems but then you heard a high pitch scream so you dove in a locker just in time before a...how do you even describe that horrible monster you saw go past from the crack of the locker....
After the coast was clear you walked out the locker and tried to steady your queasy legs that felt like they were going to give out any second...
"What the hell was that...?" you mumble to yourself even though there was no one there besides yourself and maybe 5 cameras pointed at you from all angles
the next 5 doors were the same as through the occasional flicker of lights, although you found the monster to be a bit easier to hide from the more you met it.
it felt weird calling it an 'it' but you didn't want to call it a he if it's actually a she but then again maybe it's nonbinary...do monsters even have genders?!...*cough* ok enough rambling...
*30 doors later ig; I'm already tired and I don't think you wanna hear me talking about going through more doors*
you stood in front of room 47...you felt tired and hungry...when was the last time you ate? slept?? (it's only been 7 hours)
if the monsters didn't kill you then the exhaustion sure will...you took in a deep breath and put the key card in waiting a bit before the door opened annnnddd..
Pitch. Fucking Black.
You sure are glad you found a lantern! Surely there are no monsters that hate light and will hurt you if you flash them with light!
so rather than trying you go through the door just straight through without needing a light you choose to use a your lantern, luck be told there was a damn Squiddle and it lunged at you knocking your glasses off your face
"fuck" you hissed under your breath as you took a step back not noticing you stepped on your glasses until you hear the crunch of glass
"goddammit..." you say as you try and see but the world is a blurry mess...also you're still in the dark-
well this is gonna be fun... a/n: sorry if it's not long I'm going to make a part 2 where stuff really happens so think of this as a prologue or smth like that

Event?????
1 or 7, domestic style fluff with my favorite eel?? ♡♡ (it's Floyd of course)
I leave romance vs platonic up to you, gn reader so everyone can enjoy as well :)
Can't wait to see what younc9me up with!!! If you need any help or ideas come bug me, floyd sits in my head constantly like a very annoying song
Warm Mornings; Floyd Leech
Content; Fluff, gender-neutral reader, romance
Content Warning; Some swearing
Word Count; 700+
Author's Note; Who needs a weighted blanket when you have a Floyd? I am here to deliver soft Floyd(TM) hours! (he also sits in my head constantly; the song is the low-quality Funky Town)
Tumblr media
Even when Floyd was dead asleep, he squeezed you, and that was your situation now. You were lying on top of him, and he had you in a comfortable yet strong bear hug. Just tight enough that you couldn’t wiggle free from him. And it was normally fine, but last night someone had left the window open and now it was warm and humid in the room, making you feel sticky.
“Floyd,” you whispered, trying to wake him up gently.
A gentle snore was your answer. You should have expected that though, he sleeps like a damn log.
You tried wiggling around a bit, but Floyd just hugged you tighter on unconscious instinct and rolled over, trapping you under him. Yeah, you were officially stuck. “Floydddd,” you groaned, poking him right above his hips. “You’re crushing me.”
Usually he would wake up by you repeatedly poking him, but he was out cold, he only just shifted, trapping your face where one cheek was pressing against the mattress, and the other was smushed up against his chest. Normally, you wouldn’t complain about this situation, but it was grossly warm. You were also too far away from your usual ‘escape the crushing weight of my dearly beloved eel route’, which was just tickling his legs and feet. Too bad your arms were pretty much pinned against the bed.
“Floyd, get off me,” you grumbled, squirming around like a worm on a hook.
Still nothing.
Sighing, you accept your fate. Besides the humidity, it was rather nice. Sure, you couldn’t make out the crashing of the waves on the beach, the steady beat of Floyd’s heart was right up against your ear, and it was slow and steady.
Slow and steady, not two words many people would associate with Floyd. It was a calmer side that only you got to see; when you were overwhelmed, or when he was feeling soft. Yes, he was usually a bundle of energy, but even he had his quiet moments. Within the hurricane, there was always the eye, where things remained still, despite the wild winds outside.
“Mmm,” Floyd groaned, the first sign of life you’ve seen since you’d been sandwiched.
He slowly blinked his eyes, working out the sleep from them, and tilted his head down so he could actually see you, since you were still stuck between his chest and the mattress. “Heh heh, I caught a Shrimpy in my sleep!~” He drawled, voice chipper but still heavy from sleep.
“Yes, yes you did. Can you please get off though, it’s gross out,” you groaned. At least he was cute, which the wild bed head only played in his favour. How can he look so good in the morning? Maybe it’s a mer thing… “Floyd?”
He hadn’t moved, and was instead giving you a wide grin. “Hmm, maybe I should’ve called you Crabby instead of Shrimpy, Shrimpy,” he pinched your cheeks teasingly, “since you look pretty crabby right now.”
You rolled your eyes, “And maybe I should use that mushroom risotto recipe that Jade gave me for our dinner tonight. But that’s only if you don’t get off.”
Floyd narrowed his eyes at you, trying to make out if you were bluffing or not, since last time you were dead serious and did exactly that. But he rolled off of you, grumbling a bit. “Meanie,” he muttered.
You shuffled over to where he was dramatically splayed out, his head slightly turned to you, and giving you puppy dog eyes. Chuckling, you kissed him on the lips, as that is what he was being dramatic about.
Giggling, he captured you in his arms yet again, and trapped you against the mattress for a second time this morning. He was giving you a shit eating smile. You weren’t leaving this bed until he had his share of kisses.
“Floydddd,” you groaned, but you weren’t annoyed with him, if anything, you were amused. There was never a dull moment with him around.
“Shrimpyyyyyy,” he mimicked your voice with a more prominent whine. “You know the drill!~”
Sighing, you ran your hands up through his messy hair, and brought your lips together, deeper this time. You knew the drill; neither of you were getting up until both of your lips were tired, sore, and most likely bitten… which may not be for a while.

Sebastian Solace accidently meeting reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sebastian was looking for items resulted in seeing you
— Sebastian actually doesn't do that, he just comes across them and uses it for sales
Warnings: Non human reader; Reader is 11'4, taller than Sebastian!!; Reader has a small tail, that's hidden under there clothes; Reader isn't naked, you have clothes on yay!!; You have 4 extra eyes from being mixed with a spider; Bad words, again
Tumblr media
Here's a body reference I drew, with a mouse!! ^_^ It's not that good but i tried my best ,^^ the tiny text says spider
“Ugh, these doors are so small”.. You thought.
You had to crouch through them, every. Single. Time. Why not bust out of a window? You looked at the wide glass to your left, thinking. Yeah why not.
Jumping through it, you realized that those were really weak windows. They might as well have been just the wall if they were really that weak! You would think that they were tempered at least.
You swim and swim, occasionally stopping to peer into the rooms. Sometimes you’d even knock on the windows to look at the squiddles. The other monsters never appeared, but those ones did.
After passing through many walls and windows, you look into another room. Seeing a tall humanoid like creature just sliding through.
Wait what.
You do a double take, not expecting another one to look like you.
Slightly swaying your legs, you move towards the glass. Putting your hands on it. You can only see the backside of him, looking him up and down. Just out of interest and curiosity.
He stops searching through the drawers and turns to his side, not seeing you. He moves to the next room, and you move right with him. It seems like he’s looking for items.
He looks at the window anddd.. Flinches back, with his palm facing you right in front of his chest. You hear his mumbled yell through the glass.
You wave.
As if you didn’t just startle him.
Smiling really wide, just no teeth showing, your small tail wagging.
You hear him curse. Uhm.. You move to the side and break the window with your fist,
“Oops” You say after putting your head through the hole.
Turning your head, you were going to say hello, but he was gone! You break through the window using your whole body, and fix it up with your… Powers!
“Come back”! You shout, crawling through the doors, each time you did, you saw him.
“GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME”!!
That wasn’t a very good first meeting, but it happened again. You saw him again. And again. And again. You know the drill by now yeah?
By the fourth time, he wasn’t phased.
Sigh, “Are you trying to get on my nerves or something”?
“How? I just want to see you”!
His face scrunches in confusion, “What”.
“I said I just wanted to see you! You’re only making yourself more mad with that temper of yours”.
His face fell monotone, ignoring you as he slithered through the doors.
You followed right behind him, or next to him. He didn’t want you behind him just in case you decided to do something dirty.
You observe him everytime he searches through the drawers, checks under them, and looks through the lockers.
While he was searching through a drawer, you asked a question.
“Why do you search for the items ‘n stuff”?
He closes the drawer, standing up. He turns around to face you.
“Why are you still here with me”?
“You didn’t answer my question”.
“You didn’t answer mine”.
You giggle, “You’re funny, Sebastian”.
He looks surprised that you even know his name, clenching his fists he yells out—
“HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME”?!
Now it’s your turn to look surprised.
“From a certain shark”.
He scowls, ‘Dang it Eyefestation’.
“Anywho now that I answered yours, you answer mine”.
“You still didn’t answer my other question”.
“Then let’s take turns”.
You two stared at each other. Each stares having different meaning.
One with danger, confusion, and a small chance of fear.
The other with interest and sincerity.
One not being able to tell if it’s a mask.
The other being able to tell that One is scared.
“... Fine. It’s for my shop that I hold for the other players. Now what about you? Why are you still here with me”?
“Well it’s because I find you quite interesting really. I haven’t seen any other creature—”
‘Creature’?
“— Like you. You seem kinda on edge and I want to get to know you. Personally, I think you have a very kind heart”.
‘Kind heart? What the hell are you even saying’..
Your smile stays on your face, not once lingering. Your left hand gently grips your right wrist while both arms are behind your back. You sway side to side.
“Is your question answered Sebastian”?
“Don’t call me that”.
“Then what should I call you”?
“... Solace. Call me Solace”.
“Oh that’s a nice name. It kind of matches with your icy nature”.
Ughh. He verbally groaned. He slithered over to the next door, going through it, with you of course, following behind him.
Going through a few more doors, you ask—
“Can I see your shop”?
“Yeah fine, whatever. There’s no point since you probably don’t have any data anyways”.
“You use data as a currency? For what”?
“You ask—... Nevermind, yeah, I do. It’s so I could blackmail Urbanshade”.
He halfway turns his head to look at you, stopping.
“You’re not going to use that against me, a- are you”?
‘Shit’.
Your smile falters, realizing that he’s serious. And afraid.
“Of course not! I don’t even know what that is anyways”. You smile.
His mouth slightly opens, surprised.
“You- You’re not one of their experiments”?
“No! I was born like this! My parents were the experiments, but then I escaped”.
Sebastian didn’t say anything. How could you say that so— so happily?! A- And right in front of him too! You two just met h- how could—... How could you trust him so EASILY?!
After a bit of silence, you moved on.
“Anywayss!! I wanna see your shop! Show me”!
You walk ahead, leaving Sebastian standing there by himself baffled. Before he shakes his head and continues to move.
Eventually you two find his shop and you chill.
You see his documents on the table and question him, asking who’s documents are those. He tells you that they’re his.
“Can I buy em”?
“You got 1000 data”?
“I got my backstory”!
“... Sorry, data’s the only currency”.
“Oh man :(”

It was over.
You sat there while the trial for Sebastian’s case ended. “ᵗʰⁱˢ ᶜᵃⁿ’ᵗ ᵇᵉ.” You thought. You had heard it, Sebastian Solace, guilty of the crime of 9 murders.
You knew he did nothing. You were always there, by his side. If he knew you were there or not is not the main focus.
ʸᵒᵘ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵗᵒ ᵈᵒ ˢᵒᵐᵉᵗʰⁱⁿᵍ. ᴬⁿʸᵗʰⁱⁿᵍ. You can’t let this happen. You can’t live without 𝚑𝚒𝚖. You have to do something.
So you did.
You took it to your own hands. You went home, planning what to do. You can’t stay away from him. You’ll rather die than live without your Sebastian.
You sat there thinking on what to do next and something. Something clicked in your head.
You went to a nearby hotel with blades in your bag, covered with your fingerprints. You plan on ending the life of anyone who you cross paths with.
A lovely couple who looks like they are getting ready to go for a swim out in the pool in the ground floor.
So you followed them. Reaching your destination, you spot the couple in the shallow parts of the pool, alongside with other guests. The pool today was not crowded and you like it that way.
Making your way over behind the couple, bringing the blade up to their necks and slicing the jugular vein, leaving them to bleed out while you get your way onto the others.
The group of friends who look like they were at their 30-s, was enjoying playing in the pool, while some were sunbathing.
Sneaking up to the ones who were sunbathing and giving them the same fate as the previous couple.
This time, you had a witness. The others had witnessed you killing their friends, panicking and trying to scurry away. Jumping into the waters, your athleticism let you catch all of them one by one, slicing their jugular, turning the water of the pool blood red.
You emerge from the waters, covered in your victims blood. Some of the hotel residents and staff have saw your massacre and immediately called the police.
And here you are, sitting the same spot where Sebastian got convicted. They arrested you with the charges of first degree murder of 11 people. And you regret nothing.
“Did you feel any type of regret when you massacred those innocent people, [Last Name]?”
The court grew silent, awaiting for your answer.
“I did what I did and I did not regret anything. Those people I’ve killed deserved to get killed.”
The courtroom burst into whispers, murmuring about you. The judge hits the gavel and silences everyone in the courtroom.
“You are hearby found guilty of first degree murder and you will receive the maximum punishment of death sentence.”
Everything is going according to your plan.

You are getting escorted to your cell by guards by your side. Walking past the other prisoners that is locked in their own cells. As you were about to be thrown inside your cell, you catch a glimpse of your neighbouring cell mates.
Your eyes widen.
“Sebastian Solace”
Is this what fate had planned for you or is it just a coincidence? Whatever it is, you don’t care. You need to see him.
꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦
Waiting until meal time, you sat down at a table near the corner, in your orange jumpsuit. Waiting for him.
In a couple of minutes, you finally saw him. For seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, you have finally laid your eyes upon him.
“[Na-name]? What are you doing here??” He whispered- shout, “What did you do??, are you okay?” He asked frantically, searching for answers on what the hell you are doing here as a prisoner instead of a visitor.
“I’ve did everything to get here, to see you.”
“What? Have you never heard of visiting me?” He asked, his snarky attitude never left to you amusement.
“Do you think that is enough? I rather stay in here with you rather than be out there, answering questions from reporters about your ‘murders’. Im tired of it.”
“W-what did you do?” He asked again

Just As You Are (Wolffe x GN!Asexual!Aromantic!Reader)
Word count: 2047
Warnings: I’ll say NSFW for mention of having sex to make past partners happy, mention of masturbation, minors DNI
A/N: This is my first time writing Reader who is strictly aroace so I hope I did it some kind of justice. I know not all aroace people express themselves in the same way, so this is just one version I had in my mind. I believe what I write is referred to as a queerplatonic relationship? No pronouns are used for Reader.  There is cuddling, bedsharing, and some sweetness, but not romance in the way a lot of people think about it. I think that touch is great and can be a wonderful way of communicating in all relationships, including platonic relationships, so there are some quick kisses, hugs, hand holding, etc.
You'd first met him when helping Rex with some clones who escaped The Empire. They were all stressed and in need of serious help. You ran into him and Gregor on the lower levels of Coruscant. You were selling some speeder parts to another vendor and they were looking for some specific ship parts. One thing led to another and Wolffe's visits to your shop became more frequent. You liked him. He was quick-witted and kind. You weren't sure exactly what you thought about him, just that he had a special place in your heart. Sex wasn't for you. Romance wasn't for you either, but you loved his company.
Sometimes he would sit with you while you tinkered in the shop, trying to fix something for him while he waited.  You didn’t give too much away at first, but as you got to know each other, you opened up more and so did he.  Like his brothers, he had been through a lot in the war.  You thought he was brave and thoughtful and still managed to keep a sense of humor after all that.
Wolffe was there the day you broke down and admitted you needed a fresh start and had decided to sell your shop and find some other place in the galaxy. You apologized, knowing they depended on you, but knew life on Coruscant was getting too dangerous to stay.
"Come with us," he said. "There's room for you and we could use your skills. Besides, I'd miss you if I didn’t get to see you again."
You were shocked at first, but within a week a half dozen clones scoured what supplies and parts you had left in your little workshop. You told them to take what was needed and were able to sell the shop and what was left as-is. Wolffe helped you carry your few personal belongings to the ship he now lived on with some of his brothers. You walked away, at least grateful to have someone who cared.
“Everything will work out,” he said.  You smiled up at him and nodded.  You hoped so.
Wolffe helped you get settled in your own bunk on the ship.  Room was rather scarce, but there was some space for each of you.  You traveled with them, helping other clones escape, but found yourself helping the most with everyday tasks.  Cooking, fixing clothes, knowing when to barter, trade, or flat out buy something, and how to fix items.  These were all things they had never had to worry about before. Food was in the mess, they dropped off their blacks to get fixed if they ripped, and they never worried about money or buying supplies during the war.  The GAR took care of it, even if the food wasn’t particularly delicious or plentiful.
One night, as you sat in the cockpit together, keeping an eye out for any problems on the backwater planet you’d settled on for the night, Wolffe decided to make his feelings known.  He turned to you and rubbed the back of his head before taking a deep breath.
“I care about you, you know.”
You looked at him and smiled. “I know. And I care about you.”
“I mean, I think I am in love with you,” he replied.
You felt butterflies in your stomach.  Somehow you knew he felt this way and you worried that if he knew the truth about how attraction worked for you, he wouldn’t want anything to do with you and you’d lose your dearest friend.
“Wolffe, I…” you thought about where to start, but it was clear his heart was sinking with worry that you didn’t think about him the same way.  You reached out and held his hand.  He slowly let his fingers close around yours as you continued.
“I don’t experience romantic attraction. I also don’t like sex. I have never wanted to have sex.  It’s not you.  I actually… I love you too… just maybe in a different way.”
He let a cautious smile spread across his face.  You were in it now and he hadn’t rejected you yet.  You might as well lay it all out.  As if he knew you needed another bit of strength, Wolffe squeezed your hand a little, reminding you that he was still there with you and wanted to hear what you had to say.
“I may not be attracted to people in those ways, but I definitely have feelings for you, Wolffe.  More so than Rex or Gregor or my other friends and certainly more than I did for my family.  But I understand if that’s not enough.  It’s never been enough for anyone else.”
He held your hand and reached out to caress your cheek with his thumb. “Is this okay,” he asked, pausing just before touching your face, and wanting to be near you but not wanting to overstep.  You nodded and smiled, somewhat surprised by his reaction to what you just said.
“It’s more than enough for me and it’s more than okay,” he said.  “And if you don’t believe me, let me show you.  Give me a chance to love you how you want to be loved.”
You leaned into the hand still holding your cheek.  You relaxed a little, trying to not let old worries bother you.  Right now, you felt understood and embraced for who you were.
It took a little time, but you both slowly had conversations about where the boundaries were.  You loved cuddling and Wolffe was all too happy to welcome you into his bunk. He swapped sheets and blankets with your old bunk so that you could be comfortable with what was familiar, but the temperature on the side of the ship with his bunk was more to your liking, so you moved your stuff over.
The first night together started a little awkwardly, but you felt so safe when he put his arm around your waist and asked, “Is this okay?”  You assured him it was.  Wolffe was normally so sure of himself and confident in combat, but with you he was only confident when he was sure you were on the same page.  He wanted to get it right.
“Can I kiss your cheek,” he asked.  You nodded.
“Do you like kisses, Wolffe?”
“Yes.”
You kissed his cheek in return and rested against him.  It felt so right.  You fell asleep together and got some of the best rest of your life.  Wolffe’s presence felt like a weighted blanket - not controlling or restricting, but calming.
A few mornings later he woke up before you and as soon as he realized his morning wood was against your leg, he pulled away.  You woke up from the sudden movement and asked what was wrong.
“I’m sorry,” he said.  “I didn’t want you to think I…”  He looked down and wasn’t sure what to do.
“It’s okay,” you said.  You rubbed your eyes and laid back down, unsure of what else to say.
“I never want to pressure you,” he said.  “I didn’t want you to think I was.”
“You haven’t.”  You smiled, picked up his hand, and kissed the back of it.  You got up to use the refresher and you both went about your day.  Later in the evening, you found some time together.  Wolffe sat next to you and held your hand. It was becoming one of your favorite things.  Gregor joked that you were attached at the hands instead of at the hips before he got up and walked toward the cockpit for his watch.  You loved that.  Wolffe’s hands were somehow hard and soft at the same time, like him. It felt grounding.
Once you were alone, you brought up his earlier reaction to his body functioning normally and promised him you didn’t mind.  You knew he couldn’t control what his body did while he slept.  At the same time, it felt like you should bring up the topic of intimacy.  You asked if he was really okay with being with you and not having sex.
He scoffed and replied, “My hand and a couple toys have always been enough for me.”
You laughed a little at his honesty, but loved it.  He leaned toward you and rested his forehead against yours.  “We’re close in other ways.”
“Yes, we are,” you replied with a warm smile.
After a few minutes, Wolffe tentatively asked something that had been on his mind.
“You said before that having a relationship like this has never been enough,” he said slowly.  “What happened? You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. I’m just curious.”
You bit your lip and moved to lean on his shoulder, still holding his hand.  He gave it a little squeeze.
“I was with couple other people at different times.  Tried the relationship thing. Someone would get to know me, wanted to date, romance, sex, the whole usual thing people normally do.  When I told them I’m not interested in that kind of love and didn’t feel like having sex with them, they would say they understood and it was fine, but eventually it wasn’t enough.  Especially the last person.  He really pressured me.  At that point, I cared about him and yeah, loved him in my own way, and I had sex with him to make him happy.  It didn’t feel right, though, and the relationship didn’t last.”
Wolffe’s breathing got heavier and you glanced up to see anger on his face.  You pulled away, unsure, and his expression immediately softened to one of care and protection.
“I’m not mad at you,” he said, seeing your uncertainty.  “Far from it.  I’m sorry you felt like you had to do that.  It’s not right.”  He put an arm around you and pulled you close, placing a chaste kiss on the top of your head.  You let out breath you didn’t know you were holding in.
“I want to make you happy,” you said.
“You do,” he answered with a broad smile and another kiss to your head.  “You make me so kriffing happy.  You’re enough as you are.”
You only became more inseparable as the years went on.  You came to depend on each other. If anyone asked he would say “we’re together” or “that’s my partner.”  You said the same of him.  He always made you feel special just as you were.  Each night you got into bed together and talked about your day.  You helped each other unwind simply by offering each other comfortable familiarity.  Some night you’d read a holonovel together and discovered you both liked science fiction.
You saw each other through some challenging times, too.  When you were in the Outer Rim and Wolffe’s cybernetic eye stopped working at the end of a mission, he was terrified he lost his sight for good.  You held his hand and ran him back to the ship, reminding him that his other eye was working and he would be okay.  As Gregor and Rex took off, looking for the nearest doctor who could help, you sat with him.  It was clear he was having flashbacks to the war and when he first lost his eye.
“I’m here,” you reminded him.  “I promise it will be okay.  You’re on our ship, Wolffe.  Rex and Gregor are here and we’re going to get you help.”
He looked like a terrified cadet, crying as you held him.  You walked him back to your shared bunk once you were in hyperspace, hoping the familiar sights, smells, and textures would help.
“Please don’t leave,” he asked through tears.
“I never will.”
Everything turned out okay.  He needed an adjustment to his cybernetic, but was assured it should still last the rest of his lifetime and then some.  That night, you held him, letting him rest his face in the crook of your neck, while you rubbed his back.
“I’m sorry you had to see that,” he said.  “I don’t know why I broke down when I could see out of my good eye just fine.”
“It’s okay,” you replied.  “You have nothing to be sorry for. You’ve gone through a lot.  I love you just as you are.”
“And I love you too,” he said, “just as you are too.”

swimming with sharks
pairing: Sebastian Solace/Reader (can be platonic or romantic)
summary: Unperturbed, Sebastian continues speaking. “I’d try to keep a low profile, if I were you,” he hums, still studying you with faux disinterest. It’s clear he doesn’t care to help you figure out this mess.
reader's race & gender are ambiguous; no pronouns/physical descriptors are used.
word count: 3k | ao3 version
Tumblr media
warnings: canon-typical violence and death, spoilers (concerning Sebastian's document, but nothing about the end of the game)
Expect canon divergence and non-compliance. You may have to suspend your disbelief a little bit. The pacing is also a bit faster than I'd like, but I didn't want this to rot in my drafts, so...
The title is from Sharks by Imagine Dragons because it fits Sebastian too damn well.
Tumblr media
You’re not a good person. You know this—have been forced to accept it during your confinement. The crimes you committed are enough to justify your permanent captivity hidden away in an Urbanshade facility.
But you didn’t realize just how expendable you are… until you’re forced into a dangerous expedition through the Hadal Blacksite. You’re only given two directives: secure the crystal and obtain any loose assets along the way. What this crystal is and why Urbanshade needs it are both details you’re not privy to.
You try your best to make your way through the infinite winding labyrinth you find yourself in, but it’s only a matter of time before you’re meeting your untimely death. After all, you aren’t adequately briefed on any of the creatures that roam the halls. So when the overhead lights flicker and an angler comes barreling down the hall moments later, you can’t find a hiding place and you’re quickly incapacitated.
You don’t expect to open your eyes again and, at first, the room you find yourself in is dark enough for you to think they’re still closed. But then two aquamarine orbs pierce through the darkness. You squint and try to make sense of what you’re seeing. There’s a whisper of a laugh and suddenly, a grey hand is pushing a document across the surface in front of you. You stare down at it, looking at the displayed information regarding anglers.
“Where am I?” You choke out, after numbly digesting the bits of information you just read. There’s no response from the being sharing this space with you. “Who are you?”
There’s a whisper of a laugh—a malicious cackle that doesn’t fail to send a shiver down your spine. Those bright blue eyes burn into your skin, and the light dangling above you swings in warning.
“You’ll find out soon enough.” It’s a decidedly masculine voice, laced with amusement at your expense. “Now, run along.”
You don’t have the time to say anything more, and when you blink, the unrelenting darkness morphs to reveal the submarine you first entered the Blacksite in. There’s no sign of the mysterious being from before.
You’re sent to stumble your way through the Blacksite once more, fighting to survive to aid an organization that has only shown you cruelty. Each time, you meet a painful demise and find yourself in that dark room with this creature that seems to enjoy your suffering. As you explore more, you learn more about the fauna that call the Blacksite home—and the elusive organization that has trapped you in this eternal cycle of labor.
You haven’t officially met the creature yet. He alluded to the idea that you’ll interact soon, which makes you think that you have to get through a certain number of halls in the Blacksite.
And finally, finally, you reach hall 51 on a run. There’s a single light casting light on a cabinet across the way. A vent on the nearby wall suddenly pops open and you hear a familiar voice beckoning you closer. You don’t hesitate to take the proffered path, crawling through the vent until you emerge to find yourself in a small room. There’s an assortment of flashlights, batteries, lanterns, and everything else you could need.
And there’s an enormous creature, staring down at you with recognizable blue eyes. This must be the one who trades research with you. He has black short hair and a torso with arms, but that’s where the human resemblance ends. His arms are a pale grey and his lower half is a ginormous shark tail. He must be almost twice your height.
“It’s rude to stare,” the creature chastises you. You attempt to drag your eyes away from his menacing tail. “Sebastian.” He explains, after seeing your bewildered face. “Welcome to my humble abode… friend.” It’s abundantly clear the nickname is spoken in jest. You are far from friends.
You stare at him in disbelief, struck silent as he explains how he’ll get you resources in exchange for assets and research. As your eyes wander the room, your attention is captured by a long file emblazoned with a “CLASSIFIED” label in bold red lettering.
“What’s that?” You can’t help but ask, curiosity piqued.
“My file,” he responds dryly, as if this turn in conversation bores him. Either that… or he’s trying to throw you off the scent—convince you that it’s nothing special. But you’re not persuaded. You want to learn more about Sebastian. Is he friend or foe, ally or enemy? Maybe this file will have something on him—or, hell, something on Urbanshade.
“How much is it?” You remember to ask.
“A thousand,” Sebastian answers, looking at you skeptically. “I don’t do freebies, unfortunately.”
Annoyed at the unspoken insult, you place the required money on the table with a bit more force than necessary. He whistles, evidently impressed, and makes a lazy gesture towards the file. “It’s all yours. Just don’t be surprised when you learn you wasted your money.” He enunciates exaggeratedly.
Despite your heart thundering away in your chest, you can’t satiate your curiosity—and you decide to read through the file now. When you reach the end, you can’t help but stare up at him in disbelief. It’s impossible to read the expression on his face—as if you’re staring at a brick wall of emotionlessness.
“Fascinating stuff, no?” The hybrid remarks sardonically. There’s a nearly imperceptible hint of an emotion in his voice, but you can’t quite pinpoint what it is.
“You’re Z-13.” You realize aloud, a shiver rolling down your spine as you remember the broadcasts detailing the threat.
“The one and only,” Sebastian grins, bowing theatrically.
“There’s a kill order,” you recall, something uncomfortable settling in the pit of your stomach. “All operatives are supposed to ‘unload their mags until their fingers bleed’ if they see you.”
He smirks, his light flickering ominously. “Oh, you can certainly try. But we both know you won’t do it.” He is nothing but confident. “I’m the only reason you’ve lasted this long.”
“Maybe.” You acquiesce, the effort almost painful. It’s somewhat true: the research he provides you is rather helpful. Sebastian’s eyes snap towards you in clear surprise, before a twisted smile rises on his face.
“You’re a strange one,” he muses, speaking detachedly as if you’re not even there. Then he blinks and looks at you with scrutiny. You resist the urge to wilt under his gaze and instead study the supplies he’s offering. If Sebastian is bothered by your obvious attempt at a subject change, he doesn’t show it.
Twenty minutes later, you’re outfitted with all the gear you need. You cast one last glance at Sebastian before crawling back through the vent. “You’re forgetting something.” He says, stopping you in your tracks. You frown and go back to the room, before realizing that you didn’t take the keycard. Embarrassed, you grab it and leave again—pointedly ignoring his laughter as you go.
For a while, these are the only moments when you’ll see Sebastian—other than when you die. He isn’t afraid to be biting and rude, admonishing you for your stupidity when you meet increasingly foolish ends. But it’s still a breath of fresh air to have some conversation—even when the other person is kind of an asshole.
Your voyages through the Blacksite are getting tiring—and so is the unending cycle between life and death. You are never given even a second to breathe. Exhaustion is starting to become an accessory to your frequent runs. And that doesn’t go unnoticed by a certain hybrid.
“You look terrible,” Sebastian remarks clinically after your rather embarrassing demise slipping through a pit in the floor. You feel weirdly self-conscious for a second, before you remind yourself that you shouldn’t care how he sees you. “It may be in your best interest to get some rest.” He tucks his hair behind his ear and you catch a quick glimpse of his third eye.
“My best interest?” You can’t help but laugh wryly. “Since when do you care about anyone but yourself?”
“Ah, you know me so well,” Sebastian says, gesturing lazily. “It’s true. I certainly don’t do friends… But I’m betting on your survival,” he remarks. “And if you die, you’ll owe me.” He looks at you pointedly.
“You bet on me?” You ask disbelievingly. The next words are tumbling from your lips before you can stop them. “I thought you were smarter than that.”
There’s a harsh silence, before it’s broken by a startled laugh. “Fair enough,” Sebastian acquiesces with amusement. He taps his fingers against the table in restlessness. “It’s just so endlessly boring—waiting around for your demise.”
“I’m so sorry my mortality is such an inconvenience to you,” you huff.
“You should be,” Sebastian responds easily. You roll your eyes and he takes the file back, sending you an apathetic wave as you’re tugged from the room and back into the submarine’s metal walls.
At some point, you realize you’ve started to feel strange. You get winded and out of breath rather easily; you’ve been fighting against a growing headache since your first few runs through the Blacksite; and there’s a strange puncture point on your arm. It must be from an angler, but you can’t quite remember when it got there. Every exploration is starting to blur together. There’s no way to tell the time when you’re traversing through the Blacksite, and Urbanshade doesn’t seem to care how disoriented you may be. All you know is that this puncture point on your arm isn’t healing, despite your other injuries healing immediately after your death.
That pain certainly isn’t clearing your head or sharpening your senses. When you’re deposited from the Urbanshade submarine, you hardly make it to the thirtieth room before dying. You can’t bring yourself to feel anything but relieved. While you normally aren’t so macabre, you know you desperately need a break—even just a moment’s respite from the buzzing noise threatening to bury itself into your skin. Your adrenaline promptly crashes the moment you’re transported back to that god awful dark room once more, your vision blurring and sharpening with dizzying speed. Your heart is racing in your ears, and there’s a shrill ringing sound reverberating in your skull. “What the hell did you do?” Sebastian demands. Your vision is fading to black before you can respond.
When you can finally fight off unconsciousness, you find yourself greeted with Sebastian’s unimpressed face staring down at you. “You’re one annoying fucker, you know that?” He remarks, leaning closer and looking strangely focused. You feel a familiar adhesive being wrapped around your forearm with surprising care. Then you remember just who is looming over you and you jolt up, very nearly crashing into Sebastian in the process.
Sebastian dodges the unintentional assault, looking characteristically irritated. “And what was the purpose of that exercise, exactly?” He says sarcastically.
You don’t bother answering, instead bringing a hand to your aching temple as a frown rises on your lips. Your temple is pulsating painfully, and the ringing sound refuses to quiet. Suddenly it’s as if you can hear far too much—the angler exploring the earlier halls in the distance, the hum of the electricity knitting the building together, and the water rushing out of a burst pipe in the room ahead.
You attempt to get to your feet, only for your balance to topple as you lurch forward and catch yourself on the nearby desk. Your jaw hurts, and so do your cheekbones. Pain is thrumming through your teeth, and when you feebly bring a hand up to touch one, you find it far longer and sharper. The world is spinning around you for a long moment. Your chest is aching and when you bring a hand to your stinging neck, you find strange ripples reminiscent of gills.
“Uh oh,” Sebastian remarks blandly. He moves closer and taps a finger to your forearm. Your attention captured, you blearily look down at your arm to find scales enmeshed in your skin. They glimmer in the dim light. “Looks like you’re more than just a human after all. Can’t say I’m too surprised; that would certainly explain why your death never seems to stick…”
How in the fuck did this happen? You suppose it’s more than likely that you were exposed to dangerous materials and unidentified chemicals throughout your explorations through the Hadal Blacksite. But, from what you remember, Urbanshade likes to experiment on its prisoners with the DNA of other organisms. Is it possible that somehow happened to you too? It seems more likely (and realistic) to attribute this transformation to an angler’s bite. Usually, the anglers engulf you whole. If one had bitten you—and subsequently punctured your arm—it could’ve transferred some of its genetic material into your arm…? You have no idea.
Unperturbed, Sebastian continues speaking. “I’d try to keep a low profile, if I were you,” he hums, still studying you with faux disinterest. It’s clear he doesn’t care to help you figure out this mess. “Monsters like us are catnip to those scientists.”
Monsters like us. You swallow past the taste of bile.
“I’ll see if I can get you some protective clothing,” Sebastian continues, unaware (or perhaps just uncaring) of your internal crisis. “Maybe some gloves to hide your hands.” He looks pointedly at your hands and you follow his gaze, only to find lights blinking at the edges of your fingertips—reminiscent of an anglerfish’s lantern.
You take a shuddering breath. None of this makes sense. But you’ll have to get used to it if you want to survive and get some answers. You take a few moments to collect your composure, before looking up at the hybrid. “…Thanks.” You suppose there’s something mildly comforting about how clinically Sebastian is handling all this—as if it’s no big deal. Maybe you’ll be okay.
“Oh, don’t thank me yet, sweetheart,” Sebastian leers in response, a devilish smirk rising on his lips. “Everything I provide comes with a price.” His tail swishes and you feel goosebumps rise along your arms. The more you talk to Sebastian, the more he confuses you. One moment, he’s eager to help you; the next, he’s cackling at your demise. Is he friend or foe? You’re no closer to finding the answer to that particular query. With that recognition, you sigh and read over the file detailing the cause of your death—before you’re transported to the Blacksite once more.
In the advent of your… transformation… Sebastian’s attitude changes. It’s almost an imperceptible switch, but you swear he seems a bit more patient with you now. His sarcastic remarks are more lighthearted and he almost seems to be on your side. Almost.
And with your continued explorations, you start getting farther into the building. Soon you’re getting to Sebastian’s shop on every run… and nearing door 100. The first time you make it to the crystal and attempt to return safely, you’re accosted by a Squiddle—and then an angler, because life is never simple. You open your eyes to find Sebastian snorting in laughter, mocking you for how close you were to a successful mission. You grit your teeth and bear the brunt of his taunting, knowing you’re improving.
The next time you get to the crystal, you’re prepared. You catalog the locations of nearby lockers, making sure you’re always within a short distance of one. You only use your black light to illuminate your path, which doesn’t irritate the Squiddles. You take your time moving through the seemingly endless halls, routinely interrupted by the anglers. After an immeasurable amount of time, the doors are swinging open and you’ve successfully secured the crystal. You close your eyes and breathe a sigh of relief, waiting for the welcome feeling of sunlight on your skin. It’s been so long since you’ve been to the surface.
Instead, you’re met with a gratingly familiar darkness and the sound of sarcastic clapping. Your blood runs cold. “Well done… Well done.” Sebastian says. There’s a note of triumph in his voice, and you’re not quite deluded enough to attribute it to your success.
“Why-?” You choke out, your tongue feeling glued to the roof of your mouth. You got the crystal and you completed your mission… Why are you still here?
“Oh, that look on your face!” Sebastian grins, leaning forward until he’s uncomfortably close. You feel like a bug under a microscope. Your heart is racing in your chest as you try to comprehend just what he’s not saying. “Priceless, truly. You really think Urbanshade gives two shits about you?” He sneers. “About us? No.”
Your heart is stuck in your throat. Sure, your status as an “Expendable” is far from flattering, but you had assumed there would be some sort of reward for securing the crystal. Was that too optimistic? Judging from the sneer on Sebastian’s face, it was. “You’re stuck here. Forever.” Sebastian’s eyes gleam dangerously.
Nausea climbs up your throat. Admittedly, you’re not as surprised as you should be. But the fact of the matter is that Sebastian’s utterance of those words has ushered in a whole new sense of reality. Before, you may have idly suspected it; now, you’re forced to reconcile with your eternal responsibility to act for an organization that views you as nothing more than expendable. The thought is sickening.
“We’ve stalled long enough,” Sebastian interjects calmly, as if he hasn’t just destroyed your entire world. “Any longer and they’ll get suspicious.” His eyes flit to some unknown point behind you. There’s a tense silence for several seconds, before his voice breaks through it. “See you soon.” You can almost detect a hint of genuine emotion in his voice (something frighteningly close to pity). But then he’s smirking and you’re abandoning the thought. “Good luck.”
You’re then swallowed by the darkness once more—and left to haunt the halls of the Blacksite until you inevitably see Sebastian again.

-2- THE WALLS WHICH WILL EAT US
Tumblr media
word count: 5,2k

summary: You get shipped to the Hadal Blackside and start your new mission to get the crystal and Z-13, Sebastian Solace. But it seems like the visitors of the Blackside are getting you first.
The sharp scent of various chemicals invaded your senses the moment you arrived at the dock, where Urbanshade housed their high-tech submarines for underwater expeditions—expeditions much like the one you were about to embark on. The dock itself was a massive, bustling hub, with staff members moving swiftly through the vast hall, each absorbed in their own tasks. Cargo was being transported, machines were being meticulously maintained, and the air was filled with the constant hum of activity, all contributing to the strange, industrial rhythm of the place.
The dock was located within a closed hall, nestled just below water level in one of Urbanshade’s many sprawling facilities. From where you stood, you could see the vast array of technology they had developed, each piece funded by the considerable wealth of people like your father. It was impossible not to feel a sense of awe at the sheer scale of their operations. Urbanshade’s business was far more than you had imagined; mining oil from the ocean depths seemed like it was just a side hustle for them, a mere footnote in their grander, more mysterious endeavors.
As you took in your surroundings, the reality of Urbanshade’s reach began to sink in. The size of the submarines alone was staggering, each one a marvel of engineering, designed to withstand the crushing pressures of the deep sea. Workers in identical uniforms moved like clockwork, each performing their duties with practiced efficiency. The atmosphere was one of cold, calculated precision, a far cry from the chaotic hustle you had expected.
“Hey, over here.” A voice cut through your thoughts, snapping you back to reality. A tall man, dressed in the same standard-issue uniform as the others, stood before you. His demeanor was strict, his expression unreadable. He was clearly used to the environment, his posture rigid and commanding. This man was your guide, assigned to escort you through the facility, ensuring you didn’t stray from the carefully laid path Urbanshade had set for you.
“Follow me,” he instructed, his tone leaving no room for argument. He turned on his heel and began to walk, expecting you to follow without hesitation.
You fell into step behind him, your mind racing as you tried to absorb everything at once. The guide led you through a series of corridors, each more sterile and unwelcoming than the last. The walls were lined with thick metal plating, a stark reminder of the underwater pressures that lurked just beyond. Occasionally, you caught glimpses of other workers, their faces blank as they passed by, absorbed in their own duties.
As you walked, you couldn’t help but wonder what exactly Urbanshade was preparing you for. The deep levels of the ocean were a place of mystery, danger, and unimaginable pressure, both physically and mentally. And yet, here you were, about to be plunged into its depths with little more than a vague idea of what awaited you.
The guide finally stopped in front of a heavy, reinforced door. He glanced at you, his expression softening ever so slightly, before pressing a button on the wall. The door slid open with a quiet hiss, revealing the medical station beyond.
"Standard procedure," the guide said, his voice less harsh now, as if trying to offer some semblance of comfort. "They just need to make sure you’re fit for the journey ahead. Nothing to worry about."
You nodded, stepping through the doorway into the sterile, clinical environment of the medical station. The room was starkly lit, with white walls and gleaming medical equipment arranged neatly along the perimeter. A team of doctors and nurses, all dressed in pristine white uniforms, waited for you inside. Their faces were a mix of professionalism and mild curiosity, as though you were just another specimen to be examined before being sent on your way.
As the door closed behind you, sealing you in the room, the reality of your situation began to weigh heavily on you. You had to pass this final checkpoint, a thorough examination to ensure you were physically prepared for the journey ahead before getting the one-way ticket to hell.
The doctors gestured for you to sit on a cold metal chair in the center of the room. You did so, feeling the coolness seep through your clothes as they began their work, checking your vital signs, drawing blood, and performing a series of tests designed to assess your fitness for the perilous journey.
All the while, your mind kept drifting back to the massive submarines and the dark, unknown depths they were built to explore. You couldn’t shake the feeling that once you boarded one of those vessels, there would be no turning back. The only way out was through, and whatever lay ahead in the deep ocean was as vast and unknowable as the abyss itself.
As the medical team finished their assessment, the door slid open again, and your guide reappeared. His expression was as stern as before, but there was a slight nod of approval as he looked at you.
“You’re cleared,” he said simply, stepping aside to let you exit the room. “Now, let’s get you suited up. It’s time.”
With a deep breath, you followed him out of the medical station.
After the medical examination, the guide led you back through the labyrinth of hallways, deeper into the heart of the facility. Your mind raced as you walked, the sterile environment doing little to calm your nerves. You were heading toward something monumental, something that would change the course of your life, but the details were still murky, shrouded in the secrecy of Urbanshade’s operations.
Finally, you arrived at another reinforced door, larger and more imposing than the last. The guide swiped a keycard through a panel, and the door slid open with a deep, resonant hiss. Inside, a small team of technicians was bustling around a large metal chamber—your submarine. The sight of it sent a shiver down your spine. It looks like a giant dark prison that would suffocate you slowly once you step inside.
“Suit up,” the guide instructed, gesturing toward a nearby rack where a diving suit hung waiting for you.
You approached the suit, eyeing it with a mix of trepidation and curiosity. It was sleek, made from a dark, heavy material that felt both flexible and incredibly durable. The suit was designed to withstand the crushing pressures of the deep sea and most of the things that were swimming in the water such as tiny bacteria, and as you ran your fingers over it, you could feel the quality of the suit.
With some help from the technicians, you began the process of donning the suit. They worked with swift efficiency, guiding your arms and legs into the suit’s sleeves, adjusting the fit, and sealing it tight around your body. The suit clung to you like a second skin, the material warming slightly as it activated, responding to your body heat.
Next came the helmet, a heavy, reinforced piece with a full visor that provided a wide field of vision. The technicians lowered it carefully onto your head, locking it into place with a series of metallic clicks. The moment the helmet sealed, your world became slightly muffled, the sounds of the facility fading into a low hum as the suit’s internal systems took over. A heads-up display flickered to life on the visor, showing a stream of data—your vitals, oxygen levels and a myriad of other readings you couldn’t yet decipher.
The last piece of your equipment was a utility belt, which the technicians fastened securely around your waist. The belt was lined with pouches and compartments, each designed to hold the tools you’d need for the mission. You noticed a small pouch containing a syringe—likely the medication to knock out Sebastian. It had the same color as the syringe in Mr.Wiltshires office. Another compartment held the USB stick, its purpose still lingering in your mind and clearly important given its inclusion in your gear. There were other items as well—what looked like a flashlight and a single medkit.
As the final adjustments were made, the guide stepped forward, his expression as unreadable as ever. “This suit will keep you alive down there,” he said, his tone matter-of-fact. “But it’s not invincible. Be smart, and don’t push your luck.”
You nodded, trying to swallow the lump in your throat. The weight of the suit was beginning to settle in, both physically and mentally. You were about to be sealed inside a metal capsule and sent into the darkest reaches of the ocean, a place where few had ventured and even fewer had returned from. But there was no turning back now.
The guide led you toward the submarine’s entry hatch, which stood open like a gaping maw, waiting to swallow you whole. The technicians handed you a pair of thick gloves and a small pack containing a few rations and basic batteries for the flashlight—just in case.
With everything in place, you took a deep breath and stepped into the submarine. The interior was cramped, with barely enough room to stand upright. Every surface was lined with panels of blinking lights, screens displaying data, and rows of buttons and switches whose functions you could only guess at. It was a far cry from the spacious, sterile halls of the facility above.
The guide climbed in after you, maneuvering with practiced ease in the tight space. He gestured for you to sit in one of the reinforced seats bolted to the floor. You complied, feeling the seat’s harness click into place around your suit. The guide moved to the controls at the front of the vessel, flipping switches and pressing buttons with the confidence of someone who had done this many times before.
“This is it,” he said without looking back at you. “Once we close the hatch, we’ll begin the descent. The sub is fully automated, so you won’t need to do much. Just keep an eye on your vitals, and stay calm.”
The hatch began to close with a heavy clang, the last sliver of light from the outside world disappearing as the metal door sealed shut. A dull thud echoed through the chamber, followed by a series of mechanical whirs and clicks as the submarine’s systems came online.
You felt a slight shift as the vessel detached from its moorings, the faint sensation of movement signaling the start of your journey. The submarine began its slow, steady descent into the depths, the hum of the engines the only sound breaking the silence.
You glanced at the small viewport beside you, watching as the murky waters of the facility’s dock gave way to the inky blackness of the deep sea. The light from the sub’s exterior lamps cut through the darkness, revealing the occasional flicker of marine life darting past. But as you continued to descend, even those fleeting glimpses faded away, leaving you surrounded by a void so absolute it felt like you were sinking into nothingness.
The minutes stretched into what felt like hours as you descended deeper and deeper. The pressure increased with every meter, the submarine creaking and groaning in response. You kept your eyes on the HUD inside your helmet, watching the readings carefully, trying to stay calm.
Suddenly, a voice crackled through the comms, pulling you from your thoughts. “We’re reaching the operational depth,” the guide said, his voice sounding distant. “Everything’s looking good. We’ll be in position shortly.”
You nodded, even though he couldn’t see you, and took a deep breath to steady yourself. You were about to reach the point of no return, the depth where Urbanshade’s mysteries lay hidden.
As the submarine settled into position, the guide turned toward you, his face illuminated by the dim glow of the controls. “From here on out, you’re on your own,” he said, his tone serious. “Follow your mission, and you’ll be fine. And remember—whatever happens, stay focused. This isn’t just some walk in the park. What you find down here could change everything.”
With that, he pressed a final button, and the submarine’s systems hummed to life in full force. The hatch beside you opened with a loud hiss, revealing a narrow passage leading out into the deep.
It was time. You unbuckled your harness, your gloved hands moving with a new sense of purpose. The small pouch on your belt containing the syringe and USB stick felt heavier than before, a constant reminder of the stakes. You adjusted your gear one last time, ensuring everything was secure.
Then, with one final look back at the guide, you stepped out of the submarine and into the unknown.
The submarine’s departure was swift and final, leaving you standing alone in the small, dimly lit underwater dock. The hatch closed with a deep metallic thud, and the vessel immediately began its descent back into the depths, the sound of the engines fading into the surrounding water until there was nothing but silence. You were left to take in your new surroundings.
The dock itself was smaller and far more utilitarian than the one you had departed from. Heavy cargo boxes were stacked neatly along the walls, each labeled with codes and symbols you couldn’t decipher. Metal shelves held various tools and equipment, their contents slightly askew, as if someone had left in a hurry. A few tables were scattered around, covered with open crates, maps, and other items left behind by whoever had last used this space. Everything had a layer of dust on it, giving the place an eerie, abandoned feel.
As you took a cautious step forward, your boots echoed on the metal floor, breaking the stillness. The air was thick with the scent of saltwater and oil, mingled with a faint metallic tang that made your skin prickle. The lighting was low, casting long shadows that danced across the walls with each flicker of the overhead lamps.
You moved toward one of the tables, scanning its contents. A few scattered documents caught your eye, their pages yellowed and brittle. Most of the text was smudged or faded, but you could make out references to “Navi-Paths” and “Asset Collection,” terms you recognized from your briefing. Whatever had happened here, it was clear that this facility had been operational once—before it was abandoned to the deep.
Suddenly, a crackle of static filled the air, making you jump. After a moment, a voice from Urbanshade HQ cut through the noise, calm and authoritative.
“Welcome to the Hadal Blackside,” the voice began, echoing in the empty dock with an unsettling clarity. “You are now within one of the most classified zones in all of Urbanshade’s operations. Your objective is simple: collect all assets and follow the designated Navi-Path. The resources you gather here are invaluable to our continued efforts, and your success is imperative.”
The voice paused, letting the weight of the words sink in before continuing.
“The Navi-Path has been mapped out for you. Follow it closely. It's the door signs. Straying from the path may result in disorientation, loss of communication, and even death. You are on your own out there, but we expect nothing less than full compliance. Remember: your mission is the priority. All other considerations are secondary.”
The transmission ended abruptly, leaving you alone once again in the oppressive silence of the dock. The weight of their words hung heavy in the air, the enormity of your task settling in. You adjusted the belt strapped around your waist, securing the small pouches that held the few tools you’d been given—some basic equipment, the small syringe for “emergency” use, and the USB stick that would prove vital to your mission.
Steeling yourself, you moved toward the exit, your path uncertain but driven by necessity. The first room beyond the dock was a wide, cavernous space, lit only by a few dimly lights that barely cut through the darkness. The walls were lined with more shelves, some of which had toppled over, spilling their contents onto the floor. Papers, tools, and unidentifiable scraps of metal were strewn everywhere, evidence of some past chaos.
You stepped carefully around the debris, your eyes scanning the room for anything useful. You found a few more documents, some partially legible, others completely ruined by time and moisture. Most were mundane—logs of inventory, maintenance records—but you stuffed a few into your pouch, just in case.
As you moved deeper into the room, your flashlight beam landed on a closed file cabinet in the corner. You approached it cautiously, the handle cold and slightly rusted under your gloved hand. With a bit of effort, you managed to pry it open. Inside, you found a stack of neatly organized files, most of them still in decent condition. You quickly flipped through them, noting the keywords: “Expedition Logs,” “Resource Acquisition,” “Subject Analysis.” These were the assets you were here for. You stuffed as many as you could into your pouch, the weight pressing against your side as you continued your search.
The next room was larger, with a vaulted ceiling that made the space feel even more ominous. Large machines sat dormant along the walls, their purposes unknown but their sheer size intimidating. The sound of dripping water echoed through the chamber, each drop amplified in the silence.
As you moved cautiously through the room, you spotted another item of interest—a small metal case half-hidden under one of the machines. You pulled it out and carefully opened it, revealing a series of USB sticks neatly lined up inside. Each was labeled with codes similar to the ones on the files you’d found. You didn’t know what they contained, but they were clearly important. You took the entire case, securing it in one of your larger pouches.
Suddenly, the lights flickered, sending a jolt of fear through you. You blinked, trying to shake off the unease. The facility was old, after all, and flickering lights were just another sign of its decay—nothing to worry about. At least, that’s what you tried to convince yourself, brushing off the creeping dread that began to settle in.
But then, the sound hit you—an ear-piercing, bone-chilling scream that reverberated through the walls, freezing you in place. It wasn’t human, not by any stretch of the imagination. The sound clawed at your nerves, each second amplifying the terror gnawing at your gut.
Before you could even process what was happening, a massive black cloud of smoke burst into the room, swirling with unnatural speed and intensity. The sight of it sent your mind into a frenzy. This was no ordinary malfunction. Panic gripped you like a vice, your instincts screaming at you to run, to hide, to do anything to escape whatever horror was hurtling toward you.
Without thinking, you bolted toward the nearest hiding spot—an open locker tucked away in the corner of the room. You flung yourself inside, pulling the door shut just as the cloud surged closer, filling the room with darkness and a suffocating sense of dread. You held your breath, heart pounding in your chest as you tried to stay as still and quiet as possible.
Inside the cramped locker, you could hear the creature—or whatever it was—moving through the room, the sounds it made more akin to a swarm than a single entity. It hissed and crackled, its presence oppressive, as if the very air was being sucked out of the space. You could feel the vibrations of its movements through the metal walls of the locker, each shift causing you to tense up even more.
Time seemed to stretch out, every second an agonizing eternity as you waited, hoping that the creature would pass you by. Your mind raced with a thousand thoughts, none of them comforting. What was that thing? Why was it here? And, most terrifying of all—would it find you?
You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to quiet your breathing, hoping against hope that the locker would be enough to shield you from whatever nightmare had been unleashed in this forsaken place.
The giant monster rushed past as quickly as it had appeared, leaving you trembling in the confines of the locker. Your chest heaved, desperate for air, but it felt like no oxygen was reaching your lungs. Panic gripped you tightly, each breath coming out as a shallow gasp. Your thoughts spiraled, the terror of what you’d just witnessed crashing over you in waves.
Your hands shook uncontrollably as you fumbled with the helmet of your diving suit, the need to get it off suddenly overwhelming. The locker felt suffocatingly small, the walls pressing in on you from all sides. You could feel the cold metal against your back, your fingers finally finding the latch on the helmet. With a frantic jerk, you ripped it off your head, letting it fall with a clatter inside the cramped space.
Gasping, you sucked in the stale, metallic-tasting air of the locker, but it wasn’t enough. Your heart pounded furiously in your chest, the sound of your own pulse deafening in your ears. It felt like the walls were closing in, squeezing the breath out of your lungs. No matter how much air you took in, it wasn’t enough to calm the storm raging inside you.
Your vision blurred as tears welled up in your eyes, your mind replaying the sight of that monstrous cloud over and over again. The sheer horror of it, the way it had filled the room with darkness and dread, it was too much to handle. You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to force the images out of your head, but they wouldn’t go away. The locker felt like a cage, trapping you with your fear, and your thoughts spiraled further out of control.
Your breaths came faster and faster, each one shallower than the last. You tried to steady yourself, to get a grip, but your body wouldn’t listen. You felt like you were drowning in your own panic, every nerve in your body screaming for escape, but there was nowhere to go. The fear had taken over completely, locking you in a vice grip of terror.
For what felt like an eternity, you sat there, struggling to breathe, your body shaking with the intensity of the panic attack. Eventually, the sheer exhaustion began to slow your frantic breaths, but the fear still lingered, clawing at the edges of your mind. You knew you couldn’t stay in the locker forever, but the thought of stepping back out into the darkness, where that thing might still be lurking, was almost too much to bear.
But you also knew you couldn’t stay in this state, trapped in a locker, paralyzed by fear. You forced yourself to take deeper breaths, to focus on the sound of your breathing, the feel of the cold air filling your lungs.
In the end, you couldn’t stay in the locker any longer. The walls felt like they were closing in on you, suffocating you with your own fear. With shaky breaths, you finally gathered the courage to push open the door and step out into the dark, disorienting space. The room was eerily silent, the absence of light making it impossible to see where you were going. You hesitated, trying to get your bearings without crashing into any furniture or walls.
Then it hit you—you had a flashlight. Relief mingled with your lingering panic as you remembered. Quickly, you fumbled for it, plucking it from your belt and flipping it on. The beam cut through the darkness, revealing the room around you. The light danced over scattered documents, overturned furniture, and… a strange, human-shaped hole in the wall.
You blinked, trying to make sense of it. The edges of the hole were jagged, as if something had forced its way out of the wall. Unease prickled at the back of your neck as you stepped closer, the flashlight’s beam trembling in your hand. You leaned in to get a better look, your mind racing with possibilities, none of them good.
Suddenly, a soft, almost imperceptible sound echoed through the hall—a faint shuffling, like something dragging across the floor. You froze, the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. The sound was close, too close, and it sent a chill down your spine.
You swung the flashlight around, its beam sweeping over the room, desperately searching for the source of the noise. The light caught movement—just a flicker at the edge of the beam, but enough to send your heart racing.
Your breath hitched as you slowly turned toward the direction of the movement. Your flashlight illuminated a figure emerging from the wall itself, its form eerily human but distorted in unsettling ways. The Wall Dweller moved silently, its dark, gaunt shape blending seamlessly with the shadows. It was halfway out of the wall, its empty eyes locked on you with a chilling intensity.
For a moment, you were paralyzed by fear, your body refusing to respond as the Wall Dweller slithered free from the wall. But as the flashlight beam lingered on it, something unexpected happened—the creature froze. Its body stood still against the light, and for a brief second, it seemed almost uncertain.
Then, with a sudden, jerky motion, the Wall Dweller recoiled. It shifted back, retreating toward the open door you came from as if the light had unnerved it. You watched in shock as the creature sprinted back through the hallway, its gaunt figure slipping away into the darkness from which you came. The shuffling sound faded as quickly as it had begun, leaving you alone in the quiet room once more.
You stood there, heart pounding in your chest, flashlight still pointed at the now-empty wall. The encounter had left you rattled, but relief washed over you as you realized the Wall Dweller had fled, seemingly more afraid of you—or perhaps of the light—than you were of it.
Slowly, you lowered the flashlight, trying to steady your breath. The room was silent again, but the tension in the air had lessened. Whatever that thing was, it was gone now.
You took a moment to steady yourself, the flashlight still clutched tightly in your hand. The room was quiet, the Wall Dweller gone, but your nerves were frayed. You couldn’t afford to stay here any longer, not with the darkness pressing in and the uncertainty of what might be lurking nearby. You needed to keep moving.
Cautiously, you stepped out of the room and into the hallway, the beam of your flashlight leading the way. The hall stretched out before you, lined with doors that seemed to go on forever. You chose one at random, the door creaking open as you pushed it with trembling hands. The room beyond was an office, eerily quiet and dimly lit by the emergency lights flickering weakly overhead.
You scanned the room, your eyes falling on several desks cluttered with papers and office supplies. You knew what you were here for—files, documents, anything that might be of value or contain information. Your heart was still racing, but you forced yourself to move forward, sweeping the flashlight over the desks and shelves.
As you approached the nearest desk, you noticed a stack of files haphazardly piled on top. Quickly, you started rifling through them, your eyes scanning the labels and dates. Some of them seemed important, so you grabbed what you could, shoving the files into the small pouch at your waist. The rest of the room yielded more documents, USB sticks, and other bits of data that you added to your growing collection.
The more you found, the more you realized how vital this information might be. But as you continued to search, the lights above you flickered, sending a jolt of fear straight through your chest. You froze, staring at the ceiling as the light stuttered again, threatening to plunge you into darkness.
Panic gripped you. The memory of the Wall Dweller was still fresh in your mind, and the thought of being caught in the dark again was unbearable. Your breath quickened, the room suddenly feeling far too exposed, too open. You needed to get out, and fast.
There was no locker here, nowhere to hide. You glanced around frantically, searching for another exit, another room—anywhere that might offer safety. The lights flickered once more, this time staying off for a fraction too long. It was enough to make your decision.
Without thinking, you bolted from the office, your footsteps echoing loudly in the deserted hallway. You didn't care about the noise, didn't care about anything except getting to a place where you could hide. The hallway seemed endless, but you pushed yourself forward, heart hammering in your chest.
Finally, you spotted another door ahead, slightly ajar. You sprinted towards it, not slowing down until you reached it. Your hand shot out, wrenching the door open as you stumbled inside, slamming it shut behind you.
Panting heavily, you leaned against the door, trying to catch your breath. The room was dark, save for the faint glow of your flashlight, but it felt safer—more enclosed. You aimed the beam around, revealing another small office. This one was more cramped, with just enough space to move around.
Relief washed over you as you noticed a locker in the corner, its metal surface gleaming dully in the light. You wasted no time, crossing the room and throwing open the locker door. It was empty, just big enough for you to fit inside. You clambered in, pulling the door shut behind you as you crouched down, trying to quiet your breathing.
The darkness of the locker felt strangely comforting now, a shield against the unknown. You hugged your knees to your chest, listening intently for any sound outside. But there was nothing—just the pounding of your own heart and the faint hum of the building’s dying lights.
And then a heavy force rushed into the room before smashing itself against the metallic locker, the force pressing a dent into the double doors, making you scream as your space went smaller and smaller. You pushed your shaking legs against the doors with full force, keeping the dent and the monster from squishing you to death but whatever the creature was, wouldn't stop and rammed more against the poor locker that would soon give up.
Your heart pounded in your chest as the relentless force continued to crash against the locker, each impact louder and more violent than the last. The cold metal bent inward with every strike, the sound of creaking steel and the screech of the creature echoing in your ears. The small space grew unbearably tight, the walls closing in as you pushed back with all your might, your legs trembling under the strain. Fear clawed at your throat as you realized the locker wouldn't hold much longer. Desperation surged through you as you searched frantically for any possible escape, knowing that the next impact could be your last.
The relentless assault finally ceased, leaving an eerie silence in its wake. You gasped for breath, your body trembling from the strain and adrenaline. The creature had retreated, its monstrous presence fading into the distance. The metal locker, now warped and twisted, barely provided any protection, but it was over.
Your legs were numb, a dull ache spreading through your entire body. Bruises throbbed on your skin where the locker had pressed into you, and the terror of the encounter left you drained, every ounce of energy spent. As the adrenaline ebbed away, the pain intensified, overwhelming your senses.
With a final, weak breath, your vision blurred, and you slipped into unconsciousness, your body slumped behind the battered double doors.

Yandere splatoon (also maybe lethal company cause I really don't know) shitposts and rambles
Idol m/n: “man, this is a good life, hopefully I get to have a good concert with deep cut and nothing bad happens” *ominous boss music starts playing*
Grizzco worker y/n: "hope this much salmon eggs makes quot-...a?"
*three lethal company employees look at grizzco worker y/n* "oh you must be the new guy, where's your helmet?"
Grizzco worker y/n: "...well I still need the money.....hi new coworkers!"
I sometimes think about this but but what if idol y/n or m/n didn’t follow marina out, what if they stayed. Would they still find a way out or would that be the last they would see of marina not knowing if she’ll be okay or not?
Also in a alternate timeline idol y/n gets sanitized and then never comes back out on the surface as this the bad ending but there’s a worse ending but I’ll keep that for later. Also I’m working on a small short story for vehicon m/n and I might post it in like a week or two.
Also here’s a little pressure shitpost
Sebastian: “well welcome ne…what the fuck?”
Grizzco worker y/n: “I’m just as confused as you are”
Grizzco worker y/n: “I’m just here to get paid, I don’t really care what happens”
Expendable: “…dude…what do you mean getting paid?”
Y/n: “….wait…where not getting paid? THEN HOW THE FUCK AMD I HERE!?!”
I honestly love putting other y/n’s and m/n’s in the wrong universe like how lethal company y/n is in the splatoon universe and expendable m/n is in doors.
