Yandere Sebastian x reader if you okay with it?
Yandere alphabet Sebastian Solace headcanons
Tumblr media
When Sebastian gets TOO attached
— Credits to @dear-yandere for the prompt!! I probably won't do this again because I don't enjoy yanderes all that much. But don't feel bad for requesting this, I enjoyed this and had many laughs ^_^
Warnings: There's gonna be a lot, but there's no acting it out I swear; Mentions of abduction, fighting back, lashing out, escaping, punishment(NOT IN A 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 WAY), dying(You don't die), isolation, crying, screaming, exploition, hurting Reader, revere/worship, breaking, manipulation, and drugging Reader!!; Remember they're just mentions, so it doesn't happen; This turns out to be bad at the end, I think, I'm just tired
Affection(How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get)?
Sebastian would get the urge to just hug you, specifically hugging you really tight just so you can’t leave
He wouldn’t do it himself, because he doesn’t want to get too close to humans
You’d have to act out most of the affection, physical affection especially
He doesn’t mind doing acts of service, and loves quality time
Spending time with you is just so simple for him, and really builds trust between you two
That’s what he thinks
You’d have to be near dead or just really emotional in a moment for him to say he loves you
It’s not like he doesn’t! No way! Who wouldn’t?!
But maybe it’s better that others don’t love you.. Romantically of course
Family is important
It wouldn’t get too intense, just hugging you pretty tight to the point you can’t go anywhere
Or just keeping you in his shop for a long amount of time, he already took care of that radar thing, don’t worry
He really likes to stitch up any injuries or help you with them, even the smallest cuts can make him want to heal you
One time you were hanging around for a large amount of time, taking in all of the time you two spent together
You realized that you needed to go, standing up to go to the vent
He stopped you, holding your whole arm with just one of his hands, yelling for you to wait
You looked back at him shocked and confused
“... Sebastian”?
“Could you.. Just stay a little longer”?
Let’s say in this moment you had a crush on him
“Uhm. Yeah, sure, I don’t mind”.
That interaction was the start of it, of him clinging to you, wanting you to stay here
Here with him
He wondered why he felt this way
Blood(How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling)?
Not too bloody, he finds human blood disgusting… Well– it depends on the human
Not really, I mean he’ll admit that your blood smells gross, whether he loves you or not
He might even feel a little bit guilty after
Minus the monsters, if anybody else really touches you, he’ll just scowl but leave it alone
He’ll most likely act out on somebody who was making you uncomfortable
Maybe even kill them? But not in his shop, somebody else may smell it and allege that he had done it
He doesn’t want to hurt them… In front of you, he’d just scare them off
If they didn’t get scared off then he’d break their arm
Then you’re just in the back watching it all, looking at the prisoner and then Sebastian
“.... Oh my”.
The prisoner would yell out for help, then they’d pass out
Sebastian would try to explain to you that he was just— Removing a bad.. Prisoner?
“No it’s fine, I— I understand”…
Maybe he loves you even more after that?
Maybe you love him even more now?
Cruelty(How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them)?
Uhm.. I’m not sure!
I wouldn’t think Sebastian would abduct Reader, mainly because he wants to focus on getting out of the Hadal Blacksite
But hypothetically, if he were to…
I think he wouldn’t try to smile at you every time he saw you, to show you that he wouldn’t want to be messed with
“Sebastian, you didn’t need to abduct me”.
“Uh— What”...?
He isn’t very good at the abducting thing… Maybe that’s why those ropes are so loose…
While that’s true, it’s mainly because he doesn’t know how to tie a rope
It’s embarrassinggg… Don’t tease him too much about it
He would TRY to tease you, make it SEEM like you miss the outside
Yet in this universe, you don’t mind, at all
But that doesn’t mean you enjoy just being by yourself down here
He would never mock you! Seriously anyways
Minus me not really enjoying yandere things, I actually would think that Sebastian isn’t really good at yandere stuff
Other than just having those feelings for you, breaking your legs is… Crazy
Ugh, don’t even SPEAK about isolating you from the world, that’s somewhat worse
He knows what it’s like, and if you’re not working for Urbanshade, he wouldn’t want to put you through that
Not the person he loves!
Why would someone do that…?
Darling(Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will)?
No, I mean if turning off that detonation system counts then yeah
Why would he abduct you just for you to die in thirty minutes?
That’s dumb.
He wouldn’t do anything romantic to you without your consent
If he did then that would mean he’d be just like those Urbanshade ‘people’
Eventually he’d just let you go
Disappointed in himself for even thinking of doing this
Sorry if you’re into abduction☹️
Exposed(How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling)?
Since he feels this way already, he might as well spill out his feelings? Right?
He’d let you read his document for free, after knowing and loving each other of course!
Randomly he’d just reveal bits and bits of his past, of Urbanshade, that stupid company…
In those emotional moments, he would talk about what had happened
Possibly even how he feels? Like everyday I mean, not about you
Actually it’s both
“How— How I FEEL ABOUT YOU IT— IT EATS AT ME EVERYDAY”!!!
Yeah
He’d turn his back to you, which is very important for a scared creature
Like a cat, I’m not saying he’s like a cat
He might like cats, or hate them, I’m not sure, just a random headcanon
He’d LOVE to open up to you, he swears!
He trusts you too, a lot
But in order for him to do that, please, don’t joke about his past
Sebastian can be very vulnerable, one time he was resting his head in your lap
Somehow
A huge creature on your lap, his head the size of your torso, it was nice
Fight(How would they feel if their darling fought back)?
There’s no point, he can crush your head with his hand
He would regret not drugging you
He’d slap you so you can pass out, but he doesn't want to hurt you! At all!
Please don’t fight back, you’re making it harder than it needs to be
You’re hanging up by the back of your shirt, with his claw, flailing
“Oh my god!! Sebastian I’m choking”.
“Oh, sorry”.
That wasn’t serious
He just might yell at you to stop fighting
Game(Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape)?
No, he’d be very annoyed every time you’d escape, it just shows how sane you are
The more times you try to escape, the more days you stay down here
Because if you escape then you might tell Urbanshade about him, they’re the only ones who know he’s alive so they might believe you
It’s better to just play into it, so you can leave earlier and be mentally okay
He doesn’t enjoy cat and mouse, not with you
I mean if he was hunting somebody down at that dumb company, he would LOVE it, temporarily
It’d get annoying after some time
He doesn’t enjoy watching you struggle and squirm in those barely tight ropes
He’d tell you to just give up, he’s not going to let you go
After many attempts of escaping, he’ll give you a HUGE tip
“If you want to escape so badly, then START loving me”.
If you’re smart enough, you’ll get that pretending that you love him will get you out of here
If you aren’t and keep escaping, it’s not going to go good for you
He may not be good at ropes, but he may be good with certain drugs
To keep you down here of course
He wouldn’t want to manipulate you into loving him
… He might have to though
Hell(What would be their darling’s worst experience with them)?
I would guess him giving you your ‘every-other-day’ drugs  so you can stay with him
Being convinced that you’ll stay down here with him forever is a bad one
Uhm… Him yelling at you?
God, he really doesn’t want to make it hard for you! Just LOVE HIM ALREADY!!!
IT ISN’T THAT HARD.
Or maybe it is
Abducting you wasn’t the best option so you can love him
He doesn’t enjoy isolating you from the world, but he can’t just have you getting with anybody else!!
No he—... He could never let you with anybody else
😈😈
Ideals(What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling)?
He’d hope you’d love him back
So he could let you go
He doesn’t want you to stay down here
He doesn’t want to drug you
It hurts
He doesn’t want for you to go through the same thing he did
Minus the experiments
Maybe not marriage, but being together romantically is a dream for him
He imagines being more happier
Happier with you
You’re so important to him :(
Imagining being at the surface, being Solace again
Oh what a dream.
He’d marry you if he was human
He is NOT HAVING KIDS!!!
It’s not just the sex part, it’s having to deal with kids
Don’t tell anybody I said this but… I think Sebastian is asexual...
Shh shhh…
Jealousy(Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope)?
He can get really jealous, only if he sees anybody else being friendly with you
Unless it’s the other monsters, he’d be surprised but also proud
Of the monster, but it also depends on the monster
If it was Eyefestation or The p.AI.nter he’d feel very proud
Getting along with a human is… Strange down here
To realize they’re all not bad
Some of them are good
Anyways, if you start to talk about your (possible)friends at the surface then his face expression would change
From a restful expression to slightly stressed and furious
He immediately wipes that expression off his face
Sebastian doesn’t want you to realize he’s jealous
Too bad you already noticed
“What? You jealous or something?” You tease
“No I’m just.. Surprised you have friends”.
“Ouch, oh wow you hurt me”!
He tries to not lash out, but maybe a distraction can work or something
“Heyyy! Y’know I think that I wouldn’t mind ONE person leaving MY shop RIGHT NOW”.
You two look at him with confusion
“AN INDIVIDUAL WHO I DON’T KNOW?” He hints
Your friend flashes him with a flash beacon
“WH—” Sebastian wipes his hands over his face
You look at your friend and get close to them while looking at Sebastian, “Alright I think you should—”
“GET OUT”!!!
After they leave, you talk with Sebastian, trying to figure out what was going on before he got beamed
Apparently he was, ‘tired of intruders’
Kisses(How do they act around or with their darling)?
He can act kind of bashful when it’s just the two of you
He seems annoyed when you tease him but he doesn’t mind all that much
He jokes or flirts at times
Whenever he’s flustered he looks away, and you can tell by the lean of his head
He doesn’t try to act nonchalant or extremely confident, he’s just himself
He gets more on edge around others, but they get softer and less rigid around you
You guys would seem like really good friends from a different point of view
Not really with the back-and-forth flirts you two do
If you say something that’ll REALLY get to him, he’ll go silent
And if he could, he would blush
Love letters(How would they go about courting or approaching their darling)?
I would think you’d confess first
He really doesn’t want to ruin the relationship between you two
But if he ends up confessing first then it would be on accident
He’d be rambling and then all of the sudden,
“And that’s because I love you and—”
Something like that
He didn’t even catch what he said so you’d have to call him out on it
“Wait what did you just say”?
“Huh”?
“Like— What was that last part”?
“Oh you mean ____”?
“No I mean before that”.
Then he’d look all confused until he realized what he said
Silence…
“Don’t worry I love you too I just wouldn’t think you’d say it so suddenly.” You laugh
Maybe if he was corny and back in college or something(If he was even in college) and HUMAN, he’d give you a love letter
I would think Sebastian would be good with poetry
Perchance
Mask(Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else)?
Yeah, but he wouldn’t make it too obvious that he likes you
Unless he was around somebody who’s emotionally intelligent, or intelligent in love
Then they’d definitely get the hint
He sounds more stern and angry around others, but with you he sounds more soft and calm
His voice is more lowered, not in a alpha🐺🐺 way but I mean more comfortable
Maybe even some voice cracks? If that’s possible
Make fun of him afterwards, it’s worth it even after he looks mad
Letting you hang around in the shop is diabolical, he just really hopes somebody doesn’t come across you two
Seeing him with his guard down and chilling with a human is his worst nightmare
Minus Urbanshade
It gets worse if they start to make fun of him for being around a human
He’s just more… Serene.
Around you
Naughty(How would they punish their darling)?
Oh uhm
We’re not getting 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 but, he would just make the days longer for you and give you MORE drugs
If you insult him he tries to not act out on it, he thinks it makes him weak
Letting insults get to you is weak
In his opinion
So the insults don’t have much consequences minus an annoyed stare
Oppression(How many rights would they take away from their darling)?
Maybe screaming?
I’m sorry I’m not too good with this yandere stuff
It’s uhh… Interesting to me😁
Patience(How patient are they with their darling)?
I mean unless you’re screaming for hours on end he can be pretty patient
But if you scream too much he’ll just have to put duct tape over your mouth
He’ll wait, and wait for you to just accept him
He really doesn’t want to keep you trapped down here
I know I’ve already said it but he REALLY doesn’t want you down here
If you’re obedient then he’ll just let you out early
If you’re obedient AND love him that is
He doesn’t want you to go telling others about what happens
Unless you make a deal
Likeeee
“If you let me go and we can spend more time together then maybe I could fall for you. Instead of drugging me and keeping me down here, I could actually love you”.
He’ll think about it then agree to it
And guess what!
You ended up loving him
Possibly…
Quit(If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on)?
He’d just give up after some time, expecting this
Expecting for people to leave him again
Humans
Let me split this up
— Dying
Holy MOLY.
He’s grieving forever
Your death would be the last thing he thinks of before crying to sleep
He HATES being reminded of your death every single day
Sometimes he thinks of not even meeting you in the first place
Then he wouldn’t feel this way, about a human
I mean seriously, if you couldn’t come back and I’m talking about realistically, he would be super duper sad!!
— Leaving
He knows it’s better for you, but he wants you with himmm
Unless you can get him out of here
Please get him out of here
He’s going to miss you, a lot
It’s been a year daddy
Sorry☹️
— Escaping
Oh my god!! How did you do that with those ‘tight’ ropes on your wrists!!
He’d be PISSED.
Searching for you, EVERYWHERE
It’s not like you’d go that far, or find those endless rooms
Right?
RIGHT???
Pretty please don’t escape, he just might catch you
Then he’s not letting you go, since it’s OBVIOUS you don’t love him AND you’re not obedient
Regret(Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go)?
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT
He would regret it everyday that you’re down here!
Sebastian doesn’t want to!! He just needs you!!!
He feels pretty bad for capturing you down here
Constantly worrying about if your head will pop from the pressure
Sometimes he thinks that he abducted the wrong person
He’d let you go if you loved him back, possibly even on the first day!
You’d be really lucky if he did that
Butttt, you’d HAVE to promise you won’t tell anybody about this
That he’s down here, other than the prisoners and monsters
A weight would be carried off his back when he would let you go
Stigma(What brought about this side of them [childhood, curiosity, etc])?
Loving you?... Or a sprinkle of no good human interaction?
He’s never gotten so close with somebody, except for family or having friends at school
Feeling this way about a human after the experiments hit him pretty hard
So I would think that the reason he feels this way could be because of the experiments
It’s affected him a lot, especially how he feels about the human species
He’s forgot some things, so he can’t really recall a good human action that’s happened to him
Him loving you and negative human interaction mixed together is the factor on why he feels this way
Tears(How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves)?
I wouldn’t say he’s a sadist, to you
If it were somebody bad dying then he’d smile
Heh… When I smile, RUN😈
I would love for Gianni to say that
Anywho, he wouldn’t enjoy seeing you suffer like that
It reminds him of the experiments he went through
Hearing your scream scares him in a way, to realize that he’s doing that type of stuff to you
To hear you screaming out of fear and pain
It makes him sad
He’s either going to let you go or just keep you forever
Depends on how he feels
Don’t scream, it makes him feel bad :C
Crying makes it worse
Are you really that scared?
Did he really do that to you?
The ‘person’ who loves you?
Is it really love if he’s torturing you?
If you were to isolate yourself then he’d think you broke
Just seeing you this way reminds him of lying on that cold table
Nearly alive and awake being poked and prodded at
Ughh, just shut up already and leave
That’s something he would say
Unique(Would they do anything different from the classic yandere)?
Letting you go and actually feeling bad for you
Not being fully insane
Feeling guilty
Actually being somewhat sane
Just feeling the way a good person would feel
Even after turning into that ‘monster’
He is definitely one in a million when it comes to yanderes
Vice(What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape)?
His feelings
And his trauma
Definitely his trauma
Not making fun of it, but more like speaking about it emotionally
“Did those experiments turn you this way”?
“The negative human interaction just— Impacting you when you realized that not all humans are bad”?
Yeah, make sure to use that against him
To make it seem like you know what he went through
Make it seem like his feelings are recognized
Manipulation 101
Wit’s end(Would they ever hurt their darling)?
NO!!
I TOLD YOU NO!!!
NOOOOO!!!!
That was a reference by the way
Aren’t I just so funny?
Xoanon(How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over)?
His respect for you is just average I would say
Before he met you it would be pretty small, then it would raise if you didn’t flash him with the flash beacon
If you show him genuine respect then he’ll do it back
Even if he loves you
He’s not going to worship you! Ughh, ew that’s… Nasty!!
He thinks it, not me!
Doing acts of service, like healing you, opening a door for you, things like that
He’d compliment you at times but it’s rare
He’d ask The p.AI.nter what are ways humans currently show affection
“HAH. LOSER.” It generates
Yearn(How long do they pine after their darling before they snap)?
If he gets hints that you love someone else
I’m getting tired it’s 11 pm
Zenith(Would they ever break their darling)?
He would think he did if you acted a certain way
But I don’t think he would on purpose
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I apologize if I've annoyed you in anyway from mentioning how I feel about yandere stuff. I just find it kind of insane to even think of those type of actions, especially romanticizing it.

hello! do you perhaps do smut things? If so! Perhaps sebastian and his husband with some smut? I know hes married to..zerum but her toxicity in the servers been enough for me!!
if you dont do smut or dont want to do this PLSS sebastian comforting an anxious (male plspls) reader? Tysm!! You rock and i love ur feed!!
The memories of the drowning
words: 1k
status: barely proof-read
tags: male!reader, slightly sequel to Suffocated , married established relationship, mention of anxiety and panic & comfort in the end
author note: I'm probably one of the people that currently hate on the devs for their behaviour, which makes me write x reader stories in first place. Zerum isn't included in the game, which means she can't be married in canon to Sebastian. She's a real person, not a pressure character. So congrats, y'all can marry our beloved merchant in your own headcanons! ♡
Every time you close your eyes, the events of the past replay in the depths of your mind, vivid and unrelenting, replacing your dreams with painfully realistic memories. The horrors you faced in the Hadal Blackside refuse to fade, instead etching themselves deeper into your consciousness with every passing night.
The different screams echo endlessly in your ears, a cacophony of terror that leaves an uncomfortable ringing, dulling your senses. Your body, conditioned by the countless encounters with unspeakable horrors, twitches involuntarily at the memory of how the floors and walls shook violently with every terrible angler attack. The sensation of those tremors, the sickening anticipation of what was to come, still lingers in your muscles, a reminder that survival was never guaranteed.
At this point, you can't lie to yourself anymore. The time spent in the depths of the Hadal Blackside has mentally scarred you, leaving wounds that may never fully heal. The darkness of the ocean wasn't just physical; it had seeped into your mind, haunting you in the night when your body relaxes from the survival modus only to switch back into pure panic.
Sometimes, the weight of it all comes crashing down on you in the dead of night, overwhelming you with the sudden, terrifying realization that you are trapped in a facility full of death traps, thousands of feet below the surface. The oppressive pressure of the ocean above feels like it's bearing down on you even now, crushing you under its immense, suffocating weight. The knowledge that you are surrounded by darkness and danger, with no escape, no reprieve, gnaws at the edges of your sanity with each passing second, making the experience worse.
Your eyes rip themselves open as your whole body starts to tremble uncontrollably. Cold sweat drenches your skin, making the sheets cling to you like the tentacles that once threatened to drag you to your doom. Your hand clings to your shirt, grabbing it tightly as if the fabric could anchor you to reality, grounding you in the present and warding off the terror of your memories.
The breath hitches, coming in shallow, rapid gasps that only feed the growing panic. The ringing in your ears intensifies, drowning out any attempt to calm yourself, until it feels like your head might split open from the noise. Desperate to silence it, you press both hands over your ears, squeezing your eyes shut in a futile attempt to block out the memories, the sounds, the overwhelming fear that consumes you.
But even with your eyes closed, the darkness offers no comfort. Instead, it brings the images flooding back, the twisted, writhing forms of the creatures you barely escaped, the cold, uncaring walls of the underwater facility, the endless corridors that seemed to close in around you with each step.
The faint hint of fluorescent blue hovered in the corner of your eyes, casting a soft, eerie glow across the dimly lit room. It was a color that had once sent chills down your spine, a reminder of all the deaths you had experienced. But now, it had become a familiar presence, a sign that you were not alone.
Sebastian had stirred beside you, waking from his own troubled nap. Without a word, he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close against his chest. The gesture was silent, but it spoke volumes. He knew the weight of the nightmares that plagued you, the way they clung to your mind. He couldn't lie, he was in a very similar spot, haunted by his own memories of the Hadal Blackside and all the things Urbanshade did to him.
As his arms encircled you, you felt the coldness of his body seep through your clothes, a stark contrast to the warmth of his embrace. Yet, instead of making you shiver, it grounded you, reminding you that you weren't lost in the darkness of your mind. He was here with you, sharing in the burden of those memories.
Sebastian held you tightly, as if trying to shield you from all the monsters that have threatened to pull you under. His other free arm moved gently, fingers threading through your hair in a soothing motion. The rhythmic, repetitive strokes were comforting, helping to slow the rapid pace of your heartbeat and calm the storm raging within you.
He didn't need to say anything. His presence alone was enough, a quiet assurance that you didn't have to face this alone. He understood your fear, your pain, because he had lived it too. The horrors of the deep had scarred you both, but in this moment, you found solace in each others company.
Gradually, the tension in your body began to ease. The panic that had gripped you loosened its hold, replaced by a fragile sense of peace. You closed your eyes, not to shut out the memories, but to focus on the feeling of Sebastians arms around you, his fingers in your hair, the steady rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. His tail moved, wrapping itself around you, and you couldn't help but melt into his touch.
In the silence, you could hear a faint sound. But it was Sebastian’s heartbeat, slow and steady beneath your ear, that anchored you. With him, the memories didn't seem as overwhelming, the darkness not as suffocating. He was your lifeline, pulling you back from the brink.
"You're safe," he finally whispered, his voice barely audible but filled with certainty. "I got you." He leaned down, placed a gentle kiss on the top of your head, and nuzzled into your hair. "I keep you safe, didn't I promise you that in my wedding vow?"
You nodded against his chest, not trusting your voice to respond. His words were simple, but they carried a truth you desperately needed to hear, and you felt blessed to have such a protective husband. For now, it was enough. You were safe, wrapped in his arms, with the knowledge that whatever came next, you wouldn't have to face it alone.
Sebastian continued to hold you close, his touch gentle and reassuring, until the tremors in your body subsided completely. As you drifted off into a more peaceful sleep, the fluorescent blue light dimmed behind your eyelids, leaving you in a quiet, comforting darkness that was no longer filled with terror, but with the warmth of his presence beside you.

An Odd Consolation
~ Sebastian Solace/GN!Reader
~ (Physical) Hurt/(Reluctant) Comfort
~ Platonic
~ 2.3k words
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
How long has it been since you’ve gotten a first-aid kit? Five floors? Ten? You were starting to lose track. After an encounter with what felt like Jesus Christ himself punishing you for being an Expendable, your head felt all fuzzy and distracting. Though, realistically, it was Eyefestation paired with a bad crossing from the Good People and a sprinkle of face burns from a steaming pipe. Not fun!
Large gashes paint your chest, just from the claws of the Z-96. The skin on your face felt tight as a result of your painful first degree burns. The worst part about this program was the pain. Sure, you can die and respawn which was cool..you guessed.. but getting mowed down by an angler variant? Or getting electrocuted? Or the puddles of void mass crammed inside the lockers? Torn to shreds by wall dwellers? It all hurt terribly. Only to be cursed to wake up again, with Sebastian right in your face, and do it all over again– Unless you wish to be blown up, of course.
You weren’t even collecting data anymore. Your, now torn, jumpsuit had long been dried since the last flooded path you managed to stumble upon, which further supports your theory that whatever wet warmth is sticking the fabric to your skin, is the blood from your wounds. Clutching your chest in a self-hug of sorts to prevent any more blood from spilling out, albeit unsuccessfully, you force yourself to keep going.
Every time you stop for too long to catch your breath, the intercom chimes overhead, with the same staff voice telling you – threatening you – that you need to move forward, lest you want to be detonated where you stand. So, you push forward.
One wobbly step after the other into door, after door, after flooded hallway, after door. Only stopping to hide in a locker, hide from turrets, or to dive as quickly as you possibly can into another room to hide from any angler that even remotely sounds like Pandemonium.
You were tempted to just give up and open up your vulnerabilities to the next entity that wanted your head on a spike. That was your best option after all. A bit more pain to finally make it all go away for a while? Before you wake up again, that is. A new start..sounded frustrating, but so damn enticing.
However, you’re pulled from your thoughts when a vent is pushed open on its own. The metal grate clatters loudly against the concrete floor right at your feet, followed by a hushed “over here!”. You’d completely forgotten about Sebastian in your misery. The angler-mutant-thing that always managed to find where you died, bring you back to life, and borderline insult you for your performance. You weren’t sure if he was always watching you through the security cameras or if he was getting reports from the other monsters somehow, but you couldn’t care at the moment.
Stealing a quick glance around the dark room, spotting a few Squiddles lingering in the shadows, you’re focused on the two doors in the room, both key-card locked. The first, the navi-path interface sparked, despite the green numbers telling you “027”. You can already guess that Z-96 is behind it and Painter has infected the interface. The second door reads “049”, which makes much more sense to your pain-addled brain. You vaguely remember Sebastian giving a rough estimate to where his shop is located. Somewhere around fifty?
Dropping down onto your knees a bit too roughly, causing blunt pain to your kneecaps – hardly protected by the flimsy knee pads Urbanshade provided – you steal a cautious glance behind you for wall dwellers before crawling towards the vent. One arm supports most of the weight of your front half, as the other cradles your chest wounds. You feel like you can cry out of relief at the flicker of Sebastian’s lure, causing the room to illuminate.
“Welcome back, frien- eugh..” He starts. Comforting, you think sarcastically with a subtle roll of your eyes. Offering him a tightlipped smile as you stand up, gritting your teeth from the strain of your wounds as your muscles struggle to keep you upright. “What..happened to you?” Sebastian inquires, slightly judgemental, with a tilt of his head. His three eyes follow your each and every move. Watching as you silently shuffle across the small space, right towards his tail. Fully locked onto the medkit strapped to the appendage.
Stuffing your hand into the deep pockets of your jumpsuit and pulling out what little amount of data you have. A handful of USB sticks and some soggy files… equivalent to only ninety bucks. God damn it. Your lack of proper data hunting had come to bite you in the ass. With a sigh, you opt to just buy a battery with what little options you actually have. Your flashlight was running a bit low anyways.
Haphazardly tossing a few folders and USB sticks on the floor for Sebastian to pick up, you trudge up to the desk directly to the right of Sebastian. Several DNA casings rest atop it, illuminated by a small lamp, Several different colors for, what you can imagine are, all sorts of different species. The large document that you know belongs to Sebastian practically taunts you to read it, but you shift your gaze back to the batteries. Reaching forward to grab one with a bloodied hand, only to pause when a large, pointed claw pokes you in the shoulder nearly pushing you over. “Are you not gonna fix that?” Sebastian prompts as he tugs his four-clawed hand away from you, clasping it back over his left, watching silently as you fumble, catching yourself on the desk. He tuts at the bloody print left behind as you set your palms flat onto the dull-white surface. “Don’t have enough data..” You grumble tersely, shifting your feet better underneath yourself as your knees threaten to buckle. Snatching the battery off of the corner of the desk, you slip your hand into your pocket and fish out your flashlight. Flipping it over and trying to twist the bottom of it off, struggling only slightly with slippery hands but you manage, sliding the battery into its compartment and twisting the small cap back on. Sebastian is silent, for some reason. Usually, there was some smart ass comment about how he doesn’t give credit or insulting your lack of funds…but there’s nothing.
His eyes feel like they’re piercing into your soul as he stares down at you. You don’t pay attention to him. He’ll be there..just like always. Tucking your flashlight away, you grab the blue keycard off of the desk and turn back towards the vent with intent to leave Sebastian’s shop.
That was until you feel two large claws on your upper back as Sebastian grabs ahold of the slack of your torn jumpsuit. Picking you up by the fabric with a humiliating ease, as if you were a kitten being held up by its scruff.
“How stupid are you?” He scolds as he sets you down on his tail. Your boots almost slip against his scales, unused to the uneven surface beneath you, but Sebastian, with an annoyed sigh, grabs you as gently as he can muster, setting you on the ground again inside the inner curve of his tail to prevent your…idiotic…self from dying over some dumb mistake.
“It’s the least you could do..apart from not dying, that is.” Sebastian mutters under his breath, chuckling at his own remark. Using his two left arms, he unfastens the first-aid kit from the straps around his tail, holding it in place. It’s too damn small in his claws, so he hands it off to you. Setting it, rather roughly, in your arms.
Stunned, you hesitate. What was he playing at? He would never give you free stuff. In fact, he would probably shoot you if you even asked. Staring down at the medical kit, jaw slightly agape. Sebastian huffs, plucking the kit from your hands again and flicking off the top with his...thumb? “You idiot…” He grumbles, dumping the contents onto his large palm, handing it down to you. The plastic lid and container tossed aside uselessly. A thick roll of gauze, bandages, skin tape, epinephrine, burn cream, antiseptic wipes..the usual insides. You raise your gaze up to meet Sebastian’s own, much more impatient one. Slowly reaching out and taking the gauze into your hands, grabbing a hold of the loose end and strapping it to your side, pinching it down beneath your fingers to your ribs. Pulling the roll back around your back, switching hands to get the other side, before completely around your chest. It fucking stings..bad. You can feel your blood trying to soak through the fibrous material, subsequently sticking it to your wound. But, you know it’s for the best. Trying to avoid Sebastian’s critical eye as you work, having to pause for a moment due to an ache in your bicep muscles from the repetitive motion. “Why are you helping me?” You question warily. Your voice causes Sebastian’s ear fins to flick every so slightly. Shrugging noncommittally, he sets down the extra materials on his tail in front of you, leaving it up for grabs as you need it.
“You needed it, didn’t you?” Sebastian scrutinized, inspecting the ring on his third hand, so he’s not creepily watching you bandage yourself. “That’s… not what I asked.” You huff, finally getting your chest tissue and ribs covered up. Looking up at Sebastian as he skims the small shop, like he hadn’t seen it before. Not-so-subtly moving his left hand down, using his claw to cut off the spare gauze attached to the roll, allowing you the proper amount you need.
“I know.” He states. “And I don’t care.” You hum suspiciously, but don’t push it. He was helping you out for free, why would you complain? Pinning down the loose gauze strand to your side once again, you use your free hand to finagle the edge of the skin tape, yanking it unceremoniously to grab a bit more slack you can actually use. Silently lifting it up by the edge, letting the roll freely dangle, wordlessly asking Sebastian to cut it as well.
Surprisingly, he complies. Swiping a claw against the tape, freeing it from the roll, causing it to hit the floor at your feet. Awkwardly adjusting the strap to prevent it from sticking to itself, you can pin down your gauze.
“Sit.” Sebastian demands, gingerly tugging on the back of your jumpsuit, causing you to lose balance and tumble backwards, landing right on your ass. It hurts a bit, but the pain quickly subsides. Your back pressed up against his firm tail, tilting your head back to be able to stare up at him. “What?” you question, only to be met with silence. He ignores you completely, but he doesn’t let you get up. Tucking his third hand up underneath your chin, keeping your head tilted up towards him. The coldness of his ring against your skin causes it to prickle with goosebumps, but you don’t mind much. Peering down at your half-burned face, his claw accidentally digs into a blister, causing you to hiss in pain. You didn’t really plan to do anything about the burn, just wanting your bleeding to stop, but Sebastian had other plans. “Sit.” He repeats firmly, as if you were going to get up and scurry off. His second left hand grabs ahold of the small tube of burn cream, puncturing it with ease before spreading a small amount on the length of his claw between the first knuckle and the second. Using the blunt side to massage the cream into your face, all while holding your jaw like an uncooperative pet.
Sitting still, you allow Sebastian to cover your burns. It’s an action neither of you are particularly used to, but neither try to jerk away from the other. With a sigh, you relax against him, closing your eyes. His skin isn’t particularly soft, feeling more like the grit of a cat’s tongue, but he seems to take more caution around it. Sebastian’s not exactly warm either, but he’s comfortable, at least. “Why’re you helpin’ me..?” You mumble, pulling your knees up to your chest to get a bit more cozy against the floor. You can feel your lower back tingling slightly as it begins to go numb, but shifting more will only cause more pain. “Because you lack the self-preservation skills to do it yourself.” Sebastian grunts, more focused on coating your face in petroleum jelly rather than his responses. Removing his hand from your face and draping it over you, making you feel incredibly small. His ear fins fluttering at the sound of an angler screeching as it rushes down the hall, searching for you. You hum monotonously in acknowledgement, subconsciously tensing at the sound, despite knowing it wouldn’t be able to reach you through the vent. “You’re not falling asleep on me. You still have things to do.” He states firmly, but he makes no actual effort to move you away from him. Pleased with the coverage on your face, Sebastian finally pulls his hand away, wiping the remaining residue on your jumpsuit. “‘m not.” You agree, but you know you’re probably lying.
You never really realize how exhausted you are until you’re on the verge of tears from pain alone and forced to keep moving. Kept on edge, stressed to the end of your wits. You knew you should get going. This was weird. Not to mention, Sebastian was usually an asshole..but you don’t move. Readjusting yourself underneath his large hand, acting as a blanket, you curl up into the curve of his tail, resting your head against it.
“Don’t let me get eaten..” You slur in your exhaustion, earning a small hum from Sebastian, not exactly giving you any sort of indication if he would or wouldn’t. Instead, he rests his thumb atop your head, moving it ever-so-slightly back and forth over your hair in a “petting” motion. He would probably charge you double next run, but as you began to fall asleep on him, you couldn’t bring yourself to care. At least you weren’t dead.

Free Fishsticks?!
Pairing: Sebastian Solace x Male Reader Word Count: 2.4k Content: Porn ahead (MDNI), coerced sex kinda, intersex Sebastian, top reader, Sebastian is down bad as FUCK, i don't really know how this anatomy works or just sex in general but im trying my best (born to jork it forced to research) Summary: Stupidly attempting a run without picking up any data, you get desperate for a medkit. Sebastian offers a deal.
AO3 ver.
Tumblr media
Your legs completely ached from the mimic door you just walked into, and your heart probably needed a bandaid for that attack you just had. It wasn’t your fault, you told yourself - the room was dark, courtesy of Froger, and you didn’t have a light source, so you quickly walked into the first door you saw. Painter appeared on the door node and called you a moron, which honestly you were for doing this run, but you flipped him off anyway as soon as you could stand. Yeah, fuck that guy. Both of them. Good People tried to claw at your leg as you fell on your back, and it hurt like a bitch. You were also attacked by a squiddle for using a lantern you picked up earlier, and that ran out (because you wouldn’t admit it, but you weren’t using that sparingly), so you had no light source and were on the literal verge of death. That lantern was actually the only object you picked up this entire run, as you were trying to do some sort of speedrun without searching for data. You had a couple handfuls, maybe 75 research points, but not much. This wasn’t exactly going well, obviously. You were able to dodge Angler a few times, a wall dweller, and Froger just now, but the blacksite was an unforgiving place, and you had sorely fucked up. Your first priority was a medkit. Luckily, the next room you stumbled into was marked ‘52’, which meant that soon you’d run into Sebastian. But you wouldn’t even be able to afford a medkit from him – they were more than double the amount of research you had collected, from what you could remember, and you doubt he liked you – or anyone, for that matter – enough to give you a free medkit. Limping your way into the next few rooms with no hassle, checking behind you cautiously, you walked into door 55. A vent pried itself open in front of you, Sebastian’s voice inviting you in. You took a deep breath, dropping down to your sore knees to crawl into the vent. You’d just get in, grab the keycard, and go. Simple. Darkness was initially the one to be the first you see, but as Sebastian’s light bulb flickered on, your eyes met his. A smile crept up on his face, which you always assumed was inauthentic. “Ah, had a feeling it’d be you. My favourite customer~” Sebastian greeted, his hands clasped together as he gazed down at you with his triad of unsettlingly bright blue eyes, keeping that toothy smile on his face. It almost looked genuine. You ducked your head away and immediately went for the keycard, hobbling on your better leg and then ducking straight into the vents. Sebastian’s voice stopped you midway. “You aren’t even gonna buy anything? Seriously?” His voice lilted, confusion being the undertone to his words. “I’ve got a medkit right here. Buy it.” You hung your head ashamedly, sighing to yourself. “I… don’t have enough data,” You responded, embarrassed. “Really? You didn’t collect any research?” His voice echoed back flatly. “That’s stupid.” Yeah, it sure was. You pulled yourself back inside the shop, sitting against the wall with your head in your hands, rubbing your temples. “Yeah, I know.” You snapped back passive aggressively. “Fuck, I’d do anything for a medkit right now…”You muttered to yourself. You definitely wouldn’t be doing a run like this again. The room went silent for a moment. Honestly, you were just taking a breather, but it seems another metaphorical light bulb grew on his head. “Well. Let me cut you a deal then,” He started, the smile on his face growing even bigger. Your head perked up. A deal, huh? “Like what?” “A medkit… On the house.” The way he said it sounded enticing, but it’s not like you would decline something like that anyway.
You raised your eyebrow, willing to see this through. “In exchange for?” He bit his lip. “Sleeping with me.” “What?” You blurted out, sounding a little more repulsed than you’d like to have. Your eyes widened and you immediately looked up at him in the eyes. His smug ass smile unwavering, he locked eye contact with you, raising a non existent eyebrow. “I don’t think I stuttered.” He stated, giving you a look that made your face heat up and butterflies swarm inside your stomach.
“Listen, you can’t imagine how pent up I’ve been, alone down here for the past decade. A man has his needs, you know, and you might be one to sate them.” Before you knew it, he was leaning down to your level, smirking expectantly. “Well? It’s just like any other transaction. I doubt you haven’t thought about it before~” He teased, bringing a claw to your face, swooping it behind your ear and down your cheek. You know what? He was right. You agreed embarrassingly fast. You definitely had a thing for the fish guy, and you were gonna stop denying it now. “O-Okay. Yeah. I mean, yes, to the deal, I mean. Sure.” You cursed at yourself internally for stuttering, probably making yourself sound stupid. He chuckled at your eagerness, making you avert your eyes bashfully.
“Good.” He retreated backwards, clearing his throat as you stood up carefully. You both stared at each other for a moment, as if unsure where to go from here, but you were broken from your trance when Sebastian started to unbuckle the clips around his tail and remove the SCRAMBLER from his back. He looked back at you when he noticed you were still staring.
“...Well? Are you gonna just stand there?” He deadpanned, before you gestured to your leg. “I still need a medkit.”
“Oh.” He looked back at your leg, as if he almost forgot you were bleeding out in his shop. He unclipped one from his tail and handed it to you, you giving him a delicate thanks in return. Grateful for the safety of the SCRAMBLER, you shimmied off your diving suit and gear until you were fully naked. You opened up the medkit, relieved that you were finally able to take care of your wounds.
By the time you were done bandaging yourself, Sebastian was stripped of his equipment, awkwardly looking around for a position he could settle himself into. After a few moments of watching him flop around for a bit, he found himself comfortable leaning back against the wall with his tail looping around to support him, a mess of thick curls on the floor.
You stood in front of him, analyzing his alien body. It was littered with scars all over, most from what you assumed were the experiments, a small amount being from the blacksite lockdown, probably. He had gills both on the sides of his torso and his neck, his body a mixture of beautiful shades and patterns of blue. The longer you stared, the more entranced you became. He was honestly so beautiful, more divine than any human you’d ever seen.
“Come here,” He coaxed with a smile, patting his ‘lap’ with his third arm. You obeyed, climbing onto him and straddling his lap with the rest of his tail able to support you. Looking at his genitals, you were a bit shocked by what you saw, but not in a bad way at all. 3 holes – the top one being the most prominent, an opening with something pink and glistening wet just slightly peeking out, the middle one seeming to just be a slit, and the bottom one as what you presumed was his asshole. Interesting anatomy. You did read about his document and him being mixed with specifically female anglerfish DNA, so that must’ve been in the mix with this.
Wordlessly, Sebastian chased a hand down to his crotch, slipping two digits into his top hole and wiggling something out. You watched in bewilderment as he fingered out 2 tentacle-like cocks from his hole.
“There,” He huffed, his cheeks dusted an odd shade of dark blue. “Now we can have some fun.”
He smiled smugly in response to viewing your wide-eyed shock, finding it utterly adorable. “Go on. Indulge, my pet.” He urged, reaching for one of his dicks and stroking it gently, watching for your next move. He shuddered as he touched himself, as if he’d been waiting for this kind of release for a long time, sensitive to the touch. You couldn’t imagine how long it’s been since he’d done anything sexual, let alone with a partner. You figured that might be why he invited (forced) you to spend this with him. Probably.
You swallowed nervously. Spitting on your hand, you decided to make do with what you had, which wasn’t much. Stroking yourself until you could deem yourself slicked up, ready to position yourself against… his slit, you think?
“So, do I, uhm.. Just… In here?-” You sheepishly asked, Sebastian groaning in response, narrowing his eyes. “Just put it in there already.” He growled, motioning his hand wrapped around his cock faster. You raised one of your hands in fake surrender, assuming he might just be really pent up.
Slowly, you slid yourself into his sopping hole, greeted by tepid, tight wetness. Sebastian held in a soft groan as you eased yourself in, staring down at your bodies hungrily. You never thought fish pussy would feel this good, but it did. And you never thought you’d say something like that to yourself, and never will again.
As soon as you bottomed out, you waited a moment to see if he was comfortable with you moving yet or not. Seeing as he didn’t protest, you patiently waited for him to relax. You gingerly stretched your arm out to rest on his chest for more support, feeling the surprisingly soft skin under your palms. It didn’t feel human at all, and that’s secretly what you liked about it. Sebastian noticed your hand, and didn’t say anything about it, quietly leaning his head back as he pleasured himself.
“Move.” He spoke after a short minute, making you obey. Slowly grinding yourself into him, you released quiet sounds of pleasure, resting your other hand on his hip for a better angle. Sebastian tried his best to keep himself as silent as possible, strained groans and soft pants being the only noises coming out of his mouth. You could tell he was holding back. And you didn’t particularly like it.
Attempting to tease a sound out of him, you reached for his untouched dick, closing a hand around it. Man, it was big. Maybe about half the length of your arm. Stroking it gently, experimenting with it, it felt slimy under your fingers, as what you assumed was pre coated itself on your fingers. It was slightly thicker than human pre, for sure. Sebastian’s reaction was slightly delayed, opening his eyes and seeing your hand wrapped around his cock. He shivered from the realization, his light bulb subtly dimming and brightening. Was he doing that the whole time? It was kinda cute.
You decided to speed it up, giving up on sitting awkwardly and instead planting your feet on the ground beside and between his looping tail for more leverage. From here you could properly slap your hips against his hole, despite how uncomfortable it might’ve been, but you were fine with it for now. Plowing yourself into him, you glanced up at Sebastian, focusing on his face for a minute. His cheeks were flush with blue, his lips pulled back in a tight grimace as he tried his best to keep in sound. His eyes were half-lidded, gazing down at where your crotches met.
Listening to the way he wheezed out a few pathetic grunts, you were sick of it and wanted more. You tugged on his dick harder, just in time with your thrusts, dragging them out before ramming back in. It worked. Sebastian threw his head back and moaned, and fuck, you loved it.
“Ngh- Fuck!” He yelled out, his arm reaching to grab onto a table next to you. You smirked to yourself triumphantly.
“Gonna stop being so quiet now?” You coaxed, returning to a slow pace. “Shut up.” He growled back, narrowing his eyes at you. You let go of his dick in response, hearing him softly whine at the absence of your hand.
“Seriously, start making some noise or I’m not gonna fuck you as good as I want to.” You gazed up at him, making eye contact as you watched him consider his words for a few seconds. He finally sighed, leaning back and trying to relax. “Fine.”
As you continued on, you noticed he was still getting comfortable with the prospect of making noise like this, but he was a bit louder for you this time. You eased back into a faster pace, slamming your hips against his hole as he moaned out for you.
“Fuck, that’s good… Keep going~” He breathed out, taking you by surprise, but sexually motivating you entirely. You worked faster for him, listening as he whimpered for you, slightly bucking up his body to meet your hips. Soon enough, he seemed to reach his climax, his bulb flickering for a few seconds as his mind went blank, mouth opening to release an inaudible scream. You pumped your hips harder as you raced to your own release, biting your lip as drool dribbled out from between your lips.
You were faced with the conscience of pulling out for just a second before strong hands grabbed your hips, preventing you from doing so anyway. Hot, white semen flooded into his hole, muffled noises coming from your mouth. You both laid there together, panting heavily as you recovered.
“Fuck… That was-” You huffed out, interrupted by Sebastian manoeuvring you onto your back with ease, putting you on the cold, hard floor. Your eyes widened, taken by surprise when he climbed on top of you, cum still pooling from his hole.
“I never said we were done.” He grumbled, a grin on his face as he mounted you, welcoming your cock back inside. You hissed, still coming down from your refractory period. “Wait, w-what the fu-” Interrupted again by the sensation of him grinding his body into you, a pleasant moan escaping him.
Well, you’d definitely be doing a run like this again.

swimming with sharks
pairing: Sebastian Solace/Reader (can be platonic or romantic)
summary: Unperturbed, Sebastian continues speaking. “I’d try to keep a low profile, if I were you,” he hums, still studying you with faux disinterest. It’s clear he doesn’t care to help you figure out this mess.
reader's race & gender are ambiguous; no pronouns/physical descriptors are used.
word count: 3k | ao3 version
Tumblr media
warnings: canon-typical violence and death, spoilers (concerning Sebastian's document, but nothing about the end of the game)
Expect canon divergence and non-compliance. You may have to suspend your disbelief a little bit. The pacing is also a bit faster than I'd like, but I didn't want this to rot in my drafts, so...
The title is from Sharks by Imagine Dragons because it fits Sebastian too damn well.
Tumblr media
You’re not a good person. You know this—have been forced to accept it during your confinement. The crimes you committed are enough to justify your permanent captivity hidden away in an Urbanshade facility.
But you didn’t realize just how expendable you are… until you’re forced into a dangerous expedition through the Hadal Blacksite. You’re only given two directives: secure the crystal and obtain any loose assets along the way. What this crystal is and why Urbanshade needs it are both details you’re not privy to.
You try your best to make your way through the infinite winding labyrinth you find yourself in, but it’s only a matter of time before you’re meeting your untimely death. After all, you aren’t adequately briefed on any of the creatures that roam the halls. So when the overhead lights flicker and an angler comes barreling down the hall moments later, you can’t find a hiding place and you’re quickly incapacitated.
You don’t expect to open your eyes again and, at first, the room you find yourself in is dark enough for you to think they’re still closed. But then two aquamarine orbs pierce through the darkness. You squint and try to make sense of what you’re seeing. There’s a whisper of a laugh and suddenly, a grey hand is pushing a document across the surface in front of you. You stare down at it, looking at the displayed information regarding anglers.
“Where am I?” You choke out, after numbly digesting the bits of information you just read. There’s no response from the being sharing this space with you. “Who are you?”
There’s a whisper of a laugh—a malicious cackle that doesn’t fail to send a shiver down your spine. Those bright blue eyes burn into your skin, and the light dangling above you swings in warning.
“You’ll find out soon enough.” It’s a decidedly masculine voice, laced with amusement at your expense. “Now, run along.”
You don’t have the time to say anything more, and when you blink, the unrelenting darkness morphs to reveal the submarine you first entered the Blacksite in. There’s no sign of the mysterious being from before.
You’re sent to stumble your way through the Blacksite once more, fighting to survive to aid an organization that has only shown you cruelty. Each time, you meet a painful demise and find yourself in that dark room with this creature that seems to enjoy your suffering. As you explore more, you learn more about the fauna that call the Blacksite home—and the elusive organization that has trapped you in this eternal cycle of labor.
You haven’t officially met the creature yet. He alluded to the idea that you’ll interact soon, which makes you think that you have to get through a certain number of halls in the Blacksite.
And finally, finally, you reach hall 51 on a run. There’s a single light casting light on a cabinet across the way. A vent on the nearby wall suddenly pops open and you hear a familiar voice beckoning you closer. You don’t hesitate to take the proffered path, crawling through the vent until you emerge to find yourself in a small room. There’s an assortment of flashlights, batteries, lanterns, and everything else you could need.
And there’s an enormous creature, staring down at you with recognizable blue eyes. This must be the one who trades research with you. He has black short hair and a torso with arms, but that’s where the human resemblance ends. His arms are a pale grey and his lower half is a ginormous shark tail. He must be almost twice your height.
“It’s rude to stare,” the creature chastises you. You attempt to drag your eyes away from his menacing tail. “Sebastian.” He explains, after seeing your bewildered face. “Welcome to my humble abode… friend.” It’s abundantly clear the nickname is spoken in jest. You are far from friends.
You stare at him in disbelief, struck silent as he explains how he’ll get you resources in exchange for assets and research. As your eyes wander the room, your attention is captured by a long file emblazoned with a “CLASSIFIED” label in bold red lettering.
“What’s that?” You can’t help but ask, curiosity piqued.
“My file,” he responds dryly, as if this turn in conversation bores him. Either that… or he’s trying to throw you off the scent—convince you that it’s nothing special. But you’re not persuaded. You want to learn more about Sebastian. Is he friend or foe, ally or enemy? Maybe this file will have something on him—or, hell, something on Urbanshade.
“How much is it?” You remember to ask.
“A thousand,” Sebastian answers, looking at you skeptically. “I don’t do freebies, unfortunately.”
Annoyed at the unspoken insult, you place the required money on the table with a bit more force than necessary. He whistles, evidently impressed, and makes a lazy gesture towards the file. “It’s all yours. Just don’t be surprised when you learn you wasted your money.” He enunciates exaggeratedly.
Despite your heart thundering away in your chest, you can’t satiate your curiosity—and you decide to read through the file now. When you reach the end, you can’t help but stare up at him in disbelief. It’s impossible to read the expression on his face—as if you’re staring at a brick wall of emotionlessness.
“Fascinating stuff, no?” The hybrid remarks sardonically. There’s a nearly imperceptible hint of an emotion in his voice, but you can’t quite pinpoint what it is.
“You’re Z-13.” You realize aloud, a shiver rolling down your spine as you remember the broadcasts detailing the threat.
“The one and only,” Sebastian grins, bowing theatrically.
“There’s a kill order,” you recall, something uncomfortable settling in the pit of your stomach. “All operatives are supposed to ‘unload their mags until their fingers bleed’ if they see you.”
He smirks, his light flickering ominously. “Oh, you can certainly try. But we both know you won’t do it.” He is nothing but confident. “I’m the only reason you’ve lasted this long.”
“Maybe.” You acquiesce, the effort almost painful. It’s somewhat true: the research he provides you is rather helpful. Sebastian’s eyes snap towards you in clear surprise, before a twisted smile rises on his face.
“You’re a strange one,” he muses, speaking detachedly as if you’re not even there. Then he blinks and looks at you with scrutiny. You resist the urge to wilt under his gaze and instead study the supplies he’s offering. If Sebastian is bothered by your obvious attempt at a subject change, he doesn’t show it.
Twenty minutes later, you’re outfitted with all the gear you need. You cast one last glance at Sebastian before crawling back through the vent. “You’re forgetting something.” He says, stopping you in your tracks. You frown and go back to the room, before realizing that you didn’t take the keycard. Embarrassed, you grab it and leave again—pointedly ignoring his laughter as you go.
For a while, these are the only moments when you’ll see Sebastian—other than when you die. He isn’t afraid to be biting and rude, admonishing you for your stupidity when you meet increasingly foolish ends. But it’s still a breath of fresh air to have some conversation—even when the other person is kind of an asshole.
Your voyages through the Blacksite are getting tiring—and so is the unending cycle between life and death. You are never given even a second to breathe. Exhaustion is starting to become an accessory to your frequent runs. And that doesn’t go unnoticed by a certain hybrid.
“You look terrible,” Sebastian remarks clinically after your rather embarrassing demise slipping through a pit in the floor. You feel weirdly self-conscious for a second, before you remind yourself that you shouldn’t care how he sees you. “It may be in your best interest to get some rest.” He tucks his hair behind his ear and you catch a quick glimpse of his third eye.
“My best interest?” You can’t help but laugh wryly. “Since when do you care about anyone but yourself?”
“Ah, you know me so well,” Sebastian says, gesturing lazily. “It’s true. I certainly don’t do friends… But I’m betting on your survival,” he remarks. “And if you die, you’ll owe me.” He looks at you pointedly.
“You bet on me?” You ask disbelievingly. The next words are tumbling from your lips before you can stop them. “I thought you were smarter than that.”
There’s a harsh silence, before it’s broken by a startled laugh. “Fair enough,” Sebastian acquiesces with amusement. He taps his fingers against the table in restlessness. “It’s just so endlessly boring—waiting around for your demise.”
“I’m so sorry my mortality is such an inconvenience to you,” you huff.
“You should be,” Sebastian responds easily. You roll your eyes and he takes the file back, sending you an apathetic wave as you’re tugged from the room and back into the submarine’s metal walls.
At some point, you realize you’ve started to feel strange. You get winded and out of breath rather easily; you’ve been fighting against a growing headache since your first few runs through the Blacksite; and there’s a strange puncture point on your arm. It must be from an angler, but you can’t quite remember when it got there. Every exploration is starting to blur together. There’s no way to tell the time when you’re traversing through the Blacksite, and Urbanshade doesn’t seem to care how disoriented you may be. All you know is that this puncture point on your arm isn’t healing, despite your other injuries healing immediately after your death.
That pain certainly isn’t clearing your head or sharpening your senses. When you’re deposited from the Urbanshade submarine, you hardly make it to the thirtieth room before dying. You can’t bring yourself to feel anything but relieved. While you normally aren’t so macabre, you know you desperately need a break—even just a moment’s respite from the buzzing noise threatening to bury itself into your skin. Your adrenaline promptly crashes the moment you’re transported back to that god awful dark room once more, your vision blurring and sharpening with dizzying speed. Your heart is racing in your ears, and there’s a shrill ringing sound reverberating in your skull. “What the hell did you do?” Sebastian demands. Your vision is fading to black before you can respond.
When you can finally fight off unconsciousness, you find yourself greeted with Sebastian’s unimpressed face staring down at you. “You’re one annoying fucker, you know that?” He remarks, leaning closer and looking strangely focused. You feel a familiar adhesive being wrapped around your forearm with surprising care. Then you remember just who is looming over you and you jolt up, very nearly crashing into Sebastian in the process.
Sebastian dodges the unintentional assault, looking characteristically irritated. “And what was the purpose of that exercise, exactly?” He says sarcastically.
You don’t bother answering, instead bringing a hand to your aching temple as a frown rises on your lips. Your temple is pulsating painfully, and the ringing sound refuses to quiet. Suddenly it’s as if you can hear far too much—the angler exploring the earlier halls in the distance, the hum of the electricity knitting the building together, and the water rushing out of a burst pipe in the room ahead.
You attempt to get to your feet, only for your balance to topple as you lurch forward and catch yourself on the nearby desk. Your jaw hurts, and so do your cheekbones. Pain is thrumming through your teeth, and when you feebly bring a hand up to touch one, you find it far longer and sharper. The world is spinning around you for a long moment. Your chest is aching and when you bring a hand to your stinging neck, you find strange ripples reminiscent of gills.
“Uh oh,” Sebastian remarks blandly. He moves closer and taps a finger to your forearm. Your attention captured, you blearily look down at your arm to find scales enmeshed in your skin. They glimmer in the dim light. “Looks like you’re more than just a human after all. Can’t say I’m too surprised; that would certainly explain why your death never seems to stick…”
How in the fuck did this happen? You suppose it’s more than likely that you were exposed to dangerous materials and unidentified chemicals throughout your explorations through the Hadal Blacksite. But, from what you remember, Urbanshade likes to experiment on its prisoners with the DNA of other organisms. Is it possible that somehow happened to you too? It seems more likely (and realistic) to attribute this transformation to an angler’s bite. Usually, the anglers engulf you whole. If one had bitten you—and subsequently punctured your arm—it could’ve transferred some of its genetic material into your arm…? You have no idea.
Unperturbed, Sebastian continues speaking. “I’d try to keep a low profile, if I were you,” he hums, still studying you with faux disinterest. It’s clear he doesn’t care to help you figure out this mess. “Monsters like us are catnip to those scientists.”
Monsters like us. You swallow past the taste of bile.
“I’ll see if I can get you some protective clothing,” Sebastian continues, unaware (or perhaps just uncaring) of your internal crisis. “Maybe some gloves to hide your hands.” He looks pointedly at your hands and you follow his gaze, only to find lights blinking at the edges of your fingertips—reminiscent of an anglerfish’s lantern.
You take a shuddering breath. None of this makes sense. But you’ll have to get used to it if you want to survive and get some answers. You take a few moments to collect your composure, before looking up at the hybrid. “…Thanks.” You suppose there’s something mildly comforting about how clinically Sebastian is handling all this—as if it’s no big deal. Maybe you’ll be okay.
“Oh, don’t thank me yet, sweetheart,” Sebastian leers in response, a devilish smirk rising on his lips. “Everything I provide comes with a price.” His tail swishes and you feel goosebumps rise along your arms. The more you talk to Sebastian, the more he confuses you. One moment, he’s eager to help you; the next, he’s cackling at your demise. Is he friend or foe? You’re no closer to finding the answer to that particular query. With that recognition, you sigh and read over the file detailing the cause of your death—before you’re transported to the Blacksite once more.
In the advent of your… transformation… Sebastian’s attitude changes. It’s almost an imperceptible switch, but you swear he seems a bit more patient with you now. His sarcastic remarks are more lighthearted and he almost seems to be on your side. Almost.
And with your continued explorations, you start getting farther into the building. Soon you’re getting to Sebastian’s shop on every run… and nearing door 100. The first time you make it to the crystal and attempt to return safely, you’re accosted by a Squiddle—and then an angler, because life is never simple. You open your eyes to find Sebastian snorting in laughter, mocking you for how close you were to a successful mission. You grit your teeth and bear the brunt of his taunting, knowing you’re improving.
The next time you get to the crystal, you’re prepared. You catalog the locations of nearby lockers, making sure you’re always within a short distance of one. You only use your black light to illuminate your path, which doesn’t irritate the Squiddles. You take your time moving through the seemingly endless halls, routinely interrupted by the anglers. After an immeasurable amount of time, the doors are swinging open and you’ve successfully secured the crystal. You close your eyes and breathe a sigh of relief, waiting for the welcome feeling of sunlight on your skin. It’s been so long since you’ve been to the surface.
Instead, you’re met with a gratingly familiar darkness and the sound of sarcastic clapping. Your blood runs cold. “Well done… Well done.” Sebastian says. There’s a note of triumph in his voice, and you’re not quite deluded enough to attribute it to your success.
“Why-?” You choke out, your tongue feeling glued to the roof of your mouth. You got the crystal and you completed your mission… Why are you still here?
“Oh, that look on your face!” Sebastian grins, leaning forward until he’s uncomfortably close. You feel like a bug under a microscope. Your heart is racing in your chest as you try to comprehend just what he’s not saying. “Priceless, truly. You really think Urbanshade gives two shits about you?” He sneers. “About us? No.”
Your heart is stuck in your throat. Sure, your status as an “Expendable” is far from flattering, but you had assumed there would be some sort of reward for securing the crystal. Was that too optimistic? Judging from the sneer on Sebastian’s face, it was. “You’re stuck here. Forever.” Sebastian’s eyes gleam dangerously.
Nausea climbs up your throat. Admittedly, you’re not as surprised as you should be. But the fact of the matter is that Sebastian’s utterance of those words has ushered in a whole new sense of reality. Before, you may have idly suspected it; now, you’re forced to reconcile with your eternal responsibility to act for an organization that views you as nothing more than expendable. The thought is sickening.
“We’ve stalled long enough,” Sebastian interjects calmly, as if he hasn’t just destroyed your entire world. “Any longer and they’ll get suspicious.” His eyes flit to some unknown point behind you. There’s a tense silence for several seconds, before his voice breaks through it. “See you soon.” You can almost detect a hint of genuine emotion in his voice (something frighteningly close to pity). But then he’s smirking and you’re abandoning the thought. “Good luck.”
You’re then swallowed by the darkness once more—and left to haunt the halls of the Blacksite until you inevitably see Sebastian again.

It’s been weeks after Sebastian’s experiment and since Sebastian’s ‘execution’. As you watch after Sebastian so he can have a fast recovery.

Everything hurts. My body aches. Nothing feels like it belongs here. What have I’ve done to deserve this? I didn’t even murder anyone. At least I have [Name] to look after me.
Sometimes with [Name], I feel a bit better- wait what am I saying? [Name] is a murderer. But [Name] did what they did for me, my good? I never asked for this. This is too complicated. I still love them. After all of those years, I can’t just throw them away.
At least they’re treating me better than anyone here.
One day, when reading a book, suddenly scientists were looking for [Name] carrying some type of paperwork clipped to their clipboard. And of course, [Name] complies and meets with them. Talking at the cell door.
I was trying to hear what they were talking about but ever since my experimental surgery, my ears haven’t worked that well. I tried to move closer but the scientists gave me a look to back away.
So I did, not wanting to be in trouble.
I saw [Name] being handed the clipboard alongside a pen, and them writing or signing the paper. What could it even be?
As they were done, the cell door closes and [Name] walks towards me and sits next to me.
“Hey, what was that all about?”
“Nothing. You’ll find out soon.”
“But-“
“I said nothing. Now drop it.”
I quickly dropped the conversation and returned to reading my book, [Name] looking over me, also reading the book.

As the scientists called me over, I make my way over to them.
They had plans to make another time to experiment on Sebastian again. But due to the circumstances, they concluded that Sebastian wouldn’t be able to survive.
So they made a new plan.
“We had decided that you will take his place. You can sign your signature here and you will give us your permission” they said pointing at the bottom of the paper that is clipped on the clipboard.
“You are willing to take his place, aren’t you?”
“Yes, yes. Anything.”
“Good. Now sign here and we’ll schedule a date for your time.”
Before you even think, you already signed the paperwork. What did you do? What happens if you don’t survive? Who will take care of Sebastian?
You will survive. Anything for him.
As you were done, you handed the clipboard back to the scientists and they left. You went back to Sebastian who was sitting on the floor, leaning on the bed frame while reading a book.
“Hey, what was that all about?”
“Nothing. You’ll find out soon.”
“But-“
“I said nothing. Now drop it.”
You felt a little bad for snapping at him but it’s for his own good. God, how would he react when he finds out? Well you don’t care about that anymore. All that matters is him. He is your everything

sebastian with a reader who gives him a ton of resources and asks if they can buy a kiss from him O-O
Buying a kiss from Sebastian
Tumblr media
You aren't that delusional right?
— A big ol smooch. Mwah. Delicious fishy skin oh so yummy.
Warning: Shy reader, but not the stereotypical 'Y/N'; Stutters, I'm sorry I'll try to make it realistic; THIS IS NOT A BIG DADDY AND SHY Y/N TROPE.; Sorry I just wanted to warn you; I don't use Y/N anyways, I use Reader as if there's a difference😎; There's no kiss on the lips☹️; Buttt there's a teasing Sebastian; 'Bad' words; Non-human reader, they just have the ear fins; They have green-like skin with four yellow eyes! Two fakes ones underneath their original ones; They also can disguise as a human
After dying over and over again, you became acquainted with Sebastian. You saw him in the shop and even saw him when you were dead. You’re not sure on how the dying thing works but…
It doesn’t really matter as long as you get to see Sebastian.
You’ve gained feelings for him, even though he isn’t very.. Human. His little insults can be annoying but I guess it’s um. Reasonable? Yeah that’s something you don’t enjoy all that much.
But his voice and his tone is something that you like. You may have a strange taste but who doesn’t like a 10 ft tall man that has aquatic features?
… Probably every other normal person…
But some mermen can be attractive! You feel like a little kid crushing on cartoons.
Sebastian seems very closed off and distant from humans. Maybe because humans are the reason he’s this way?
That’s understandable.
I don’t think I would like humans at all if I looked like that either. It’s not like he’s ugly it’s just… It seems like he was human before being that way.
Anyways
Maybe since he doesn’t seem okay with other forms of affection— You could get him a gift! It’s unexpected, can be taken as platonic, and a way to get closer to somebody! Perfect!
Though what should you get him?
Hmm…
You don’t know any of his likes, favorites, nothing really.
Oh!
But he has a shop!
You could uhh. Give him some items for his shop!
And then…
Ask for a kiss!
… Is that too forward? Well he might like you back!
He might… Like you back..
He doesn’t really give many hints on his feelings towards love. Especially towards you, minus the lessened amounts of insults he throws at you.
Oh that could be a hint! He stutters sometimes too! But he did that before he truly knew you…
Ugh, too many ellipses.
Oh sorry I didn’t mean to break the 4th wall.
Agh hem.
As the loop starts again, you decided that the gift could be items. Items to give so he can hold it for his shop. Then a smooch!
A smooch?
Yeah a kiss. Totally. He’ll definitely give you a kiss with those… Rubber… Lips…
Okay maybe a kiss on the hand can suffice.
Exiting the submarine you prepare to give Sebastian a ton of items in return for a kiss!
Are you really that delusional?
.
.
.
Yes!
You end up finding flash beacons, flashlights, medkits— Actually maybe you should keep that one.
Y’know, just incase a good pers—
… Mmm…
People?
Just in case good people pops up.
Hate that thing.
Oh wow a lantern.
When it comes to the monsters and just being in this place in general, it’s like your whole personality switches.
When it comes to Sebastian you’ll be all shy. But when it comes to just Urbanshade, its creatures, and Hadal Blacksite… You’re more mad and irritated.
Sometimes you even say bad words at the creatures.
Oooo.
Saying bad words even though you’re a grown adult.
How, “NO YOU CAN’T SAY THAT”!!
Y’know?
When people infantilize shy characters?
Y’know?
☹️
You get pretty close to door fifty, having many helpful sources to give to that— man…
You hear an expected voice..(Oh how spooky)
“Hey. Come here”.
You look at an invisible camera pulling off that— Roblox man face or something- I don’t– I don’t know.
Speed walking over there in excitement, you hold a smile on your face. Your beautiful smile lines showing.
Damn, you really like him huh?
You crawl through the vents waiting with anticipation. Possible praise? Or even a smile?
You can’t wait.
Reaching the end of the vent, you immediately look up, bumping your head. It’s a good thing you have that head gear. You might’ve gotten a traumatic brain injury and five dollars.
… What.
A- Anways, you rub your head looking down.
“Oh damn. Well based on that head bump I already know who it is. Hello my favorite prisoner”.
“Hey Sebastian, yeah you’re so funny. Making fun of my h- head bump. Die”.
“Hey buddy I was justt messing arounddd”.
“M-hm- Mhm.” You let out pained noises. Getting out from the vent, you stretch out your limbs. Hearing a few pops
“Eww… Yuck, I hate those sounds.” Sebastian commented.
“Yeah they’re kinda weird about humans”.
“They suree areee”…
After a few seconds of silence, Sebastian speaks up.
“Soo, you gonna buy anything”?
“W- Well maybe, I– shiver, I actually have some gi- gifts for you.” Clearing your throat you physically cringe at the stuttering. It makes you seem.. I don’t know.. Fanfic material or something.
“Gifts”?
“Yea! Gifts.. T- To show you my um… G- Gratitude for- sigh, for giving me those items”.
He chuckled, “It’s not like I give you them for free or anything”.
“Yeah but sometimes you give me discounts”.
“Oh yeah huh”?
“So I— I wanted to give these to you, S- Sebastian”..
“You’re very stuttery today aren’t you”?
You look up at him while getting the things out of your bag.
You let out a shivery laugh, “Y- Yeah, I’ve never really um.. Given someone gifts before a- and it’s.. Spooky– down here”.
Sebastian could tell that was an excuse.
I know that was an excuse, it’s obvious you’re this way because of your little crush or something.
You hand Sebastian the items, his two claws engulfing yours. You wish these stupidly thick gloves were off your hands so you could actually feel his claws.
“And shaky”.
“Oh! Um”..
“You sure you’re okay?” He asks with concern. Putting away the items, he’s not sure why he even asked.
“Yeah I’m okay! It’s just um. Th- Those aren’t f- free.” Even with the small amount of built confidence, you were still very nervous.
“Oh of course they’re not. What is it? Do I have to give you some data or something? If you’re asking for cash then–”
“N- No”!
He’s surprised by the sudden and yippy-like voice.
“I uh, I don’t want data or cash”.
“... So, what do you want”?
“A. A uhm. Uh”.
“C’mon spit it out already”!
“A kiss!! Yeah a small kiss or something”..
.
.
.
Oh yes I love awkward moments, what about you?
“A kiss?” Sebastian repeats.
You nod, not even being able to speak right now. You’re looking at the ground with hands together and thumbs rubbing against the hard leather. If you weren’t sweating you definitely would be now.
“Y’know it would’ve made more sense if you said that before giving me the items”?
“Sebastian I’m serious”!
“Okay okay, yes you can have your kiss”.
You look up quickly, a quiet crack in your neck from turning it so fast.
You may think that you’re blushy and flustered one right now. Well that’s correct, if you can even blush.
Buttt you’re not the only one with a rapidly beating heart.
Sebastian’s trying to hide it, to not seem all vulnerable in front of somebody. Not just a human. Showing that you’re vulnerable is a sign of, I guess.. Weakness.
“But how can you even kiss me with that diving helmet”?
Oh yeah you forgot about that.
“O- Oh, yeah uhm- let me take care of that”.
That sentence peaks his interest, if you were to take that off then he’s sure your head would pop.
“W- Wait I was just joking—!” He reaches out to you to stop you, putting his right claw over your head gear.
Even though you’d be just fine with the pressure, you were shocked he even stopped you.
“Oh uhm. Sebastian. I’m not fully human, I can handle the pressure with or without the gear”.
Whattt??
His face scrunches with confusion and shock, stunned.
You take off the head gear, but don’t worry, you’ve managed to disable that explosion thing. Just temporarily, they haven’t noticed yet.
You hold your gear in your hand, looking up at Sebastian.
You smile, showing off your yellowish, blueish teeth. Your ear fins sway slightly, up and down.
“Yeah I’m not really uhh, human. Fully anyways.” You set your gear on the ground—
“A- And I’ve taken care of that blowing up device. S- So don’t worry”.
God he reallyyy hopes that nobody walks in right now.
“Th- They can’t hear me either so, I’ll be fine temporarily. I’ll soon have to turn it all back on so they don’t suspect anything”.
Wow.
He thought you were kinda dumb to add onto your shy personality.
Damn.
That’s um.
Surprising.
You can feel his stare on you. It’s not very uhh, it’s not a good feeling.
You look back up at him, putting a hand over your forehead as if it were a visor.
“Do I not look good or-”
“N- No! That’s not why I’m staring. It’s just.. Surprising. I couldn’t really get any hints on how you weren’t a human”.
“Ah, well that was on purpose actually. I- I’m not sure if you really do scents but– I gave myself a more human scent and covered up the dark green skin with a more human one”.
Woww, yes you’re sooo smart.
He keeps on staring at you.
“Anyways, what about that uhm.. That kiss..?” You mentally cheer at the least amount of stutters in the much bolder question.
“O- Oh yes”!
Oo! A stutter!
“Well I doubt you would kiss me on the lips”.
“O- Oh I don’t m- mind— Ughh, I don’t mind kissing you anywhere really. Just a kiss itself is fine”!
“Oh really?” He teased.
“Y- Yes.” You whisper.
“Well, how about a kiss to the palm, yeah? Not too forward and nearly just the right amount of romance”.
“Yeah that’s fine”!!
Your somewhat wobbly legs move over to Sebastian. He slightly moves his right claw to your face, casting a shadow over your head because of how big it is.
You grab both sides of his hand and lean over to his palm, giving it a quick—
Smooch!
To the palm. Even after the kiss you still stay there for a few seconds, before backing away with your hands behind your back.
You hurriedly put your head gear back on before quickly stuttering out—
“T- Thank you f- for the k- kiss! I enjoy- gulp, enjoyed it”!
Rushing out of the shop, you let out a huge breath.
As if this was some show, the camera would pan to Sebastian’s scrunched up face, his lip(?) quivering. He’s happy that he’s cold blooded, or else he’d be blushing very, very hard right now.
He holds up that same palm, and puts it to his lips(??).
Letting out a shaky breath.

Sebastian saving the reader from the Puddles of Void-Mass during a solo run male reader please🙏
Suffocated
Words: 1,2k
Status: Proof-read
Tags: Mention of pain (near death experience), male reader faintly crushing on sebastian at the end
It was probably your fifth run at this point, rushing through door after door while carrying the heavy diving gear on your back, which significantly slowed you down. The weight of the gear felt almost unbearable, each step a reminder of the immense pressure bearing down on you from the depths of the ocean you were stuck in. This time, they sent you down on your own, making the job infinitely more difficult since it was just you and your senses inside the creepy underwater facility, a place that had been on an almost everlasting lockdown for reasons you were too afraid to fully explore.
The silence down here was oppressive, broken only by the distant hum of machinery and the occasional creak of the facility's aging structure. The corridors seemed to stretch on forever, each one more labyrinthine and foreboding than the last. And you could swear, if an angler didn't get you somewhere in between, then a wall dweller might just tackle you from behind, leading to a painful death. You'd heard stories about them from secret intel, but it was hard to believe at first. Yet, in the eerie quiet of the underwater base, even the wildest stories and rumors seemed to hold a kernel of truth.
It was around floor 48 when the lights in the minimalist office hallway started to flicker for a moment. It was the signal you dreaded, the one that meant you needed to find the nearest locker and hide without risking another stressful panic attack in the dark. Your heartbeat quickened, a frantic drum in your chest, and you could already feel the familiar cold sweat on your palms as you scanned the hallway for a hiding spot.
Then, from somewhere close, too close, you could already hear the ear-piercing scream from the other room. It was a sound unlike any other, unnatural and filled with a kind of agony that made your blood run cold. It sent a shiver straight down your spine, freezing you in place for a split second, before survival instincts kicked in. You hurriedly squeezed your large body into a nearby locker, the cold metal walls pressing in on you as you pulled the door shut with trembling hands.
Your breath caught in your throat as you tried to steady yourself, only to notice, too late, that something was already inside. Black tentacles, slick and cold, had wrapped themselves around your limbs and torso. They pinned you painfully against themself and the steel interior, the tight space making it impossible to struggle or even scream. The tentacles were strong, far stronger than you, and they pulled you deeper into the locker, squeezing your chest until it was hard to breathe.
The realization hit you like a punch to the guts. This wasn't just some malfunctioning piece of equipment. The locker wasn't safe. The puddle of void mass inside had been waiting for you, and now it had you exactly where it wanted. The scream from the other room echoed in your ears, but now it was distant. The real terror was here, in the dark, cramped confines of the locker, with those cold, unyielding tendrils slowly crushing the life out of you.
You thrashed against the tentacles, but each movement only seemed to make them tighten their grip. Pain shot through your body as they dug into your skin, and the locker seemed to grow even smaller, the walls closing in as your vision began to blur. Panic clawed at your mind, the darkness pressing in from all sides, but there was no escape, no hope of breaking free.
Your last thought, as the world around you faded to black, was that you should never have come down here alone.
Then, through the suffocating grip of the tentacles and the haze of near-unconsciousness, you heard the faint sound of locker doors being smashed open. The noise echoed in the small, confined space, jarring you back to a sharp awareness of your surroundings. Before you could fully comprehend what was happening, two large, claw-like hands grabbed you forcefully by the shoulders. The tentacles loosened their grip just enough for you to be yanked free from their constricting hold.
You were pulled into a weirdly cold yet oddly comfortable chest, the frigid surface somehow soothing the aching, bruised skin beneath your diving suit. Your lungs, starved for air, filled themselves again with precious oxygen, the sudden rush of it making your head spin.
As your vision cleared and your heart slowed its frantic pace, you found yourself standing face to face with your rescuer: the sly sea-serpent merchant himself. His eyes, slitted and glowing with the familiar fluorescent eerie light, bore into yours with an intensity that made it impossible to look away. His scales, dark and shimmering like the depths of the ocean, reflected the dim light of the hallway, casting strange patterns on the walls around you.
He was massive, his presence filling the space with an overwhelming sense of power and control. The coldness of his chest, where you were still pressed against, seeped into your bones, yet it was not an uncomfortable cold.
"You're lucky I found you in time, my friend" he murmured, his voice a low, resonant hiss that reverberated through your entire being. His breath, cool and tinged with the scent of brine, brushed against your face as he leaned closer, his sharp, serpent-like features coming into clearer view. "That thing would've crushed you like a clam if I'd been just a moment later."
You managed a shaky nod, still too stunned to speak. The shock of being pulled from the brink of death left you weak and disoriented, but the merchants presence, as fearsome as it was, also brought a strange sense of relief. You were alive, and for now, safe though you couldn't shake the feeling that safety was a relative term when it came to Sebastian standing before you.
He tilted his head, his eyes narrowing slightly as he studied your expression. There was a knowing gleam in his gaze, as if he could read every thought running through your mind. "Don't look so surprised," he said with a sly grin, revealing sharp, gleaming teeth. "You didn't think you'd make it through this place on your own, did you? Not without a little... assistance."
His words, laced with a mix of amusement and something darker, sent another shiver down your spine. You knew of him, of course it was clear that he would demand a fitting payment.
And now, standing in his grasp, you couldn't help but wonder: What price would you have to pay for your life?
Your Adam's apple bobbed as you swallowed hard, the motion a clear sign of your anxiety. Yet, despite the fear that still gripped you, a strange sense of calm began to settle in your chest. Sebastians cold, calculating eyes watched your every move, but something deep within you, said, against all logic, you would be safe with him, payment or not.
It was an inexplicable feeling, this sudden trust. His presence didn't carry the malice you feared from the usual monsters in this place. Instead, there was a peculiar sense of assurance, as if the danger you felt moments before had been snuffed out simply by his arrival. The way his hands, though clawed and fearsome, held you now with a surprising gentleness only reinforced that instinct.
You relaxed slightly, your tense muscles beginning to loosen as you drew in a slow, steadying breath. Maybe it was the way he had saved you, with such effortless strength, or the quiet confidence in his demeanor that made you believe against all reason that you were in good hands.

Door 50 Shenanigans
Part 1: Redolence
Pairing: Sebastian Solace x Male Reader Word Count: 1.7k Content: Smut [MDNI] Sebastian's weird anatomy, masturbation, scent kink, heat cycles Summary: Sebastian's in heat again. The scent lingering on the jumpsuit he stole from you is something he thinks he can use to take care of himself - at least for now.
Part 2 on its way soon - AO3 ver.
God damn it. Damn it all.
It was that time of the year again. Sebastian knew. He could clearly tell, with the way an uncomfortable heat pooled in his crotch area. It was an itch that was almost too hard to scratch. It got worse every fall, too, the longer he went without a partner to take care of it with.
He grumbled to himself, gripping tightly onto the table he was hunched over. He gritted his teeth, his third hand languidly pumping fingers in and out of his cunt. By the time he would cum for the third time today, he knew it would only last maybe a few short hours before the painful ache rebounded twice as bad. It was becoming unbearable. He needed more sexual stimulation – it was severely irritating, painful even – a huge problem for him.
The sound of a door opening, followed by multiple footsteps and the chatter of expendables caught him off guard. In a panic, he tried to push his half-revealed cocks back in his hole, wiping his fingers off on his jacket. Quickly buttoning it back up to hide his private area, he then turned around to face the new expendables who would enter his shop.
Sebastian put on a smile as he flicked his light on, clearing his throat as he watched a head pop out of the vent. Upon realizing it was you, his smile became less forced.
“Heeeey, welcome back, you!” He exclaimed, clasping his hands together. You smiled warmly at him, giving him a small wave as 2 other expendables crawled out of the vent behind you. He hoped he seemed at least presentable right now, anxiously fiddling with his unkempt hair.
You stood quietly behind them as they inspected what Sebastian had in stock today – a code breacher, a medkit, a lantern, a hand-cranked flashlight, and a gummy light.
“Aw man, I want the gummy light but I’m broke.” Your fellow expendable pouted as their shoulders dropped, having to spend a revive a few doors down, resulting in them losing all the data they collected. Expendable 2 patted their back reassuringly. “Here, I’ll buy it for you.” They said, smiling as they saw Expendable 1’s face light up like a Christmas tree.
You personally had your eye on the medkit, but you were willing to scavenge whatever they left behind. You had enough data points to purchase most of the things in the shop, deciding to grab a battery as the rest of your trio bickered about what they’d buy.
You sighed, looking down at your suit. It was particularly dirty, drenched in the grime of your own sweat, and torn up by Z-96. You felt pretty uncomfortable in it, and would definitely prefer a suit change right about now, but you couldn’t complain about it at the moment. Sebastian, however, seemed to notice your discomfort.
“Need a new suit?” He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. Your head jerked up, surprised by the offer. You nodded slowly. “Uh, y-yeah. You wouldn’t happen to have any extra, would you…?” You asked nervously, scratching your neck. How adorable you were.
“Suuuuuure.” He answered, almost sounding sarcastic to you, but you realized he wasn’t when he pulled out a crate from the corner of the shop and pried it open. Inside was a handful of Expendable jumpsuits. You weren’t too keen on finding out where these came from.
Sebastian pulled one out with his claw, dangling it in front of you as it unfolded. You could see a few patches on the material, covering up the mistakes of its previous owner.
“Fixed these up myself.” He announced proudly, moving it closer to your face. You reached out to take it from him, holding it in your arms as you smiled up at him. “Thanks, Sebastian.” You smiled at him again, a blush on your face. He smiled back, giving you a thumbs up.
The other 2 Expendables snickered between themselves, preparing to tease you for it as soon as you would all leave the shop to continue your run. As they left through the vent, you were about to follow behind, having grabbed what you needed, before Sebastian’s voice stopped you.
“Ahh.. wait. You wouldn’t mind, err, changing in here, would you?” You stopped in your tracks, turning your head to him. “I just want the suit you have, that’s all. Don’t worry, I won’t peek.” Sebastian covered his eyes — his third one as well — with his hands, still facing you to give you enough light to see.
You indulged his request, seeing why not. Unbothered by his presence, you unclipped your diving gear, unzipping your current jumpsuit and stepping out of it. Grabbing the new one you left on the floor, you fit your body through the arms and legs, fitting into it perfectly. It wasn’t properly cleaned, but it was cleaner for sure, and that was enough for you.
“Here you go,” you held your old jumpsuit in your hand, lending it to Sebastian. He uncovered his eyes, smiling down at you. “Thank you. Come back soon, friend.”
You smiled dumbly to yourself as you crawled out of the vent, your friends complaining to you about the ‘special treatment’ you got. Did Sebastian treat anyone else like that, or just you?
Sebastian groaned to himself, feeling the pulsing heat take its place in his groin yet again. He leaned back against the wall behind him, face hot with embarrassment. His tail strewed itself about the room as if it had a mind of its own, his fins twitching from the suspense of stimulation. Fuck, he really had to do something about this.
His eyes drifted to the form of your discarded wetsuit, folded messily on the desk next to him. A thought came to mind – your aroma was emanating off of it, he could smell it from where he was sitting. It practically called his name, smelling unpleasant but alluring at the same time.
…Hm. There was something he could do with that, wasn’t there?
Hastily, he removed the SCRAMBLER from his back, setting it down safely in the corner of the room. Unbuttoning his coat, his scarf unraveled from his neck, both articles being tossed onto the floor. Unclipping the straps and equipment attached to him, he threw it into another tangled mess on the stone cold ground that he would deal with later.
Pushing a crate in front of the vent entrance to prevent any stray expendables from wandering in whilst the store was closed, he grabbed your dirty jumpsuit within his right claws, crumpling it up between his fingers. He cursed himself for this, but this would definitely help with the issue a bit more. Your scent would give him more scenarios he could get off to. You were just so sweet to him – he couldn’t help himself.
Lowering himself horizontal on the floor, his tail lifted in an arch, a hand sliding down. It found his first slit, reaching two digits inside and easing out his cocks. A sigh of alleviation left his mouth. He was going to hell for this, wasn’t he?
It’s not like hell would be much different from down here anyway. Pressing the bunched up cloth up to his nostrils and taking a whiff, his eyelids softened. Most of his senses were amplified by the DNA infused within him, and his sense of smell was no exception.
He could smell everything on the worn cloth. Your sweat, your blood, your body odor… It was just so unapologetically you, and he was totally getting off to it. His cocks stood erect at the thought of you behind him, hauling his tail over your shoulder like it was nothing, rutting into him like a toy.
Before he knew it, a third hand slid down to rub his slit, the other one being utilised to stroke himself. Pathetic whimpers were muffled by the suit, pressed up against his snout as he got himself off to the thought of you. Every single obscene or lewd thought he pushed down, he’d let loose now.
He imagined the two thick fingers working him out to be your cock, thick and meaty, filling him up in every perfect way he needed it. His aching cocks swelled needily at the thought, pumping his hand fast against it. He bit into the fabric of your diving suit, using it as a muffle, trying hard not to make more noise than he already was. If only you could hear him now, how pathetic and needy he sounded, moaning like he was nothing but a bitch to be relentlessly used. What a dirty little pervert he was, making himself cum to the thought and even scent of you.
The thought of you whispering words to him – demeaning or adoring, he didn’t care – as you plowed him from behind drove him crazy. He gripped harder onto the material, moving both his hands swiftly now. God, he was so sensitive. He could already feel his climax approaching fast.
His eyes shut tight as his hands rushed him to the finish, rambling incoherent words that not even he could decipher from his mind, but he didn’t care – he wanted to cum.
Hot liquid dripped from both his cunt and cocks onto the dense ground, his light flickering intensely as his tail thrashed behind him, knocking into a few objects. His mind went blank, panting heavily into the now saliva drenched material of your wetsuit.
As he recovered from his high, still panting, he pried the jumpsuit out of his mouth, now damp and covered in his own slobber. He grimaced, tossing it to the side for the time being. A sigh of relief escaped him as he lifted himself off the ground, his penises slowly retracting back into their hide.
The itch was gone, for now, but he knew it would just come back twice as worse. He needed something more to properly satisfy his needs. He needed you.
Sebastian thinks he might have had an idea, right there and then.

pas de deux
pairing: Sebastian Solace/Reader (can be platonic or romantic)
reader's race & gender are ambiguous; no pronouns or physical descriptors are used.
summary: “What are you doing?” You ask suspiciously. “Following you, of course,” Sebastian answers, as if it’s a stupid question. It’s a bit of a tight fit with the two of you in the submarine, considering Sebastian’s gargantuan tail. It wraps around the space and you find yourself standing uncomfortably in the middle—feeling akin to prey trapped in the coils of a snake’s tail.

“Any particular reason you’re following me?” You finally ask, stopping in the twentieth room and turning around to stare at Sebastian. The hybrid usually greets you after your death, providing you with research on the creatures that roam the Blacksite. He also sneaks in around level 47 to sell you items. But he’s never actually followed you like this before—appearing at the submarine dock and accompanying you on your exploration. You were under the impression that he was a wanted man—but, then again, he does have that weird transmission jamming device to keep himself undetectable…
“Just monitoring your progress, is all,” Sebastian shrugs, tapping his fingers restlessly. He’s clearly bored. You haven’t bothered to engage with him until now—instead pretending as if he isn’t following behind you. But you can only pretend for so long. You’ve always performed these expeditions on your own and, despite your annoyance, it’s nice to have some company for once. Even if that company takes the shape of a human hybrid who seems to hate your guts. Sebastian’s voice breaks you out of your thoughts. “Besides, it’s more fun to be up close and personal. Watch your guts spray everywhere and all that.”
You grit your teeth and ignore the macabre remark, instead continuing through the Blacksite and searching for items. Right now, you only have a small handheld flashlight—and the battery’s pretty low. If you want to get to the crystal, you’ll need more materials. Of course, Sebastian could be helping you look. Instead, he’s only hovering behind you ominously. He has virtually no concept of personal space, as he practically breathes down your neck each time you pause to rifle through drawers.
“You’re even smaller in person, you know,” Sebastian remarks, apropos of nothing. You feel that familiar irritation rising in your chest once more, but you quickly suppress it. He’s just trying to provoke you.
“You’re ten feet tall,” you remind him. You’re human—of course he’s going to tower over you.
“And?” Sebastian drawls. You just roll your eyes and keep searching, valiantly pretending you don’t have a relentless annoyance watching your every move. You enter the next room, only to hear the overwhelming sound of rushing water. Shaking your head, you keep exploring—occasionally glancing behind you warily.
The next hall is dominated by the same sound of rushing water. The lights aren’t flickering, so you think there aren’t any anglerfish. At least, until Sebastian’s voice breaks through the static in your mind. “You’d better hide,” Sebastian suggests with a smirk, his last word drawn out for effect. “Unless you want to be fish food.”
You freeze and try to listen for a moment, before deciding to trust his advice. You run for a locker and hide in it, just barely making it in time before the pink anglerfish is rushing past. Surprised that Sebastian was actually telling the truth, you wait a few seconds for it to pass before exiting the locker. The hall is dark now, and there’s no sign of Sebastian. Shrugging, you feel your way around in the dark and manage to find the door to the next hall. The metal slides open, only to reveal Sebastian leering down at you. Your heart jumps out of your chest and you can’t hide the surprised gasp that crawls its way out of your throat.
Sebastian cackles, before moving away from the doorway and allowing you to enter. And to think, you were just about to thank him for saving your life… You shake your head in disbelief. You really don’t understand this guy.
Admittedly, Sebastian’s presence is rather distracting. It’s hard to focus when he’s looming over you menacingly. You try your best not to show your wariness, because you know it’s just what he wants to see. Even so, you’re finding it difficult to focus on your surroundings. And when the lights flicker in warning, you’re too preoccupied with finding a locker to notice the anglerfish is only a mere few rooms away. Before you can hide, you’re promptly attacked and killed.
As your vision fades to black, you hear Sebastian’s laugh echoing in your mind. When you open your eyes to find yourself sitting at that desk once more, you glare at him. He could’ve warned you about the anglerfish.
“Hey, I helped you once,” Sebastian shrugs noncommittally. “Besides, I’m not your little buddy.” His voice drips with venom as he slides the anglerfish research document across the desk. There’s nothing new on the document.
You just sigh, pushing the file away from him and heading back to the submarine. It’s only when you turn the corner and make it to the dock that you realize he’s following behind you. “What are you doing?” You ask suspiciously.
“I thought the novelty had ‘worn off,’” you manage to finally say, once you see that Sebastian is remaining still.
Sebastian just stares at you in an eerie silence. You shake your head and keep quiet as the submarine emerges from the water. Then, you start investigating the nearby drawers and cabinets, before heading through to the first door.
And so it continues. You open a door, look around in the hall, and enter the next room with Sebastian on your heels. When you hear an anglerfish approaching, you jump in a locker; you remember to routinely look behind you for Wall Dwellers; and you search for resources. But you can only fight off your curiosity for so long. “Why haven’t you been doing this the whole time?” You ask Sebastian. He could’ve been helping you from the beginning.
A laugh. “Can’t make things too easy for you,” Sebastian answers. “Besides, this is your job, not mine.”
That’s right. Sebastian isn’t helpful. He doesn’t serve anyone except himself. The only reason he’s accompanying you now is because it benefits him in some way. “Right, because your job is just to provide me overpriced weapons and mediocre advice,” you mutter darkly.
“Easy there, shrimp,” Sebastian says, his eyes flashing in warning. You roll your eyes and keep walking, trying to pretend as if he isn’t there. It’s proving to be an increasingly difficult task, between his towering form and frequent sarcastic comments.
In the next few rooms, you find a flash beacon. You know it’ll come in handy when you inevitably reach the halls with broken lights. And it doesn’t take long before you find yourself needing to use it. Feeling turned around, you reach down and send a flash across the space. You can just barely register the layout of the space: three halls branching off from one another, each leading to a different door. Then you see Sebastian out of the corner of your eye… he reaches out… and everything goes dark.
When you find yourself in that ever familiar dark room once more, you can’t contain your annoyance. “What the hell was that for?” You immediately snap. Sebastian just looms over you, looking rather pleased with himself. He just killed you for no reason.
“I warned you,” he says.
“No, you didn’t,” you argue. “And I didn’t even flash it in your direction!” Sebastian just shrugs. You sigh heavily and head out of the room, not even waiting for him to place the file down. Somehow, it appears he’s still benefiting from this arrangement—he must be, since he’s still following you into the submarine again.
You’re quickly growing frustrated and impatient with your companion. Sebastian is constantly talking; he doesn’t seem to know what personal space is; and he enjoys seeing you in pain. You thought it would be nice to have company, but Sebastian is quickly proving to be nothing more than a meddlesome distraction.
“It’s almost like you don’t want me to get to the crystal,” you mutter darkly, after he attempts to scare you. You concentrate on searching through the remaining three drawers, before moving onto the next room.
Then you pause in the doorway, understanding crashing down on you. Suddenly everything makes sense: his inexplicable, almost childish behavior; his insistent presence; and his never-ending amusement. “You don’t want me to escape,” you realize aloud. Your blood runs cold and you feel a shiver run down your spine. The fluorescent lighting above hums loudly.
“Took you long enough.” He remarks. Your back is turned, but you just know Sebastian is smiling. “You’re stupidly trusting. Naive. It’s almost cute… but mostly pathetic.”
The lights above flicker in warning, but there’s a tense silence descending in the air. You’re still frozen in the doorway, listening for anglerfish. After a few moments, you conclude there aren’t any. Your fists clenched at your sides as you come to terms with Sebastian’s deceit, you try to keep walking—only for his voice to stop you.
“You forget yourself.” Sebastian whispers, his voice dark and deeply unsettling. You can’t see anything, but you can hear him moving behind you. His tail sounds as if it’s right behind you—like he’s coiling around you, ready to strike.
You grab your flash beacon in a tight-knuckled grip, ready to throw him off with a bright burst of light. You’re not sure how long you wait, entirely silent, before deciding to take a step forward. You wait a few seconds, then take another step. The room is drenched in darkness, and without the metal paneling on the floor to guide you, you have no idea where to go.
A whisper of a laugh and the sensation of breath at the back of your neck makes you whip around and fire off your flash beacon. It’s annoyed him in the past—it seems to take him off guard, at the very least. Maybe you can stun him long enough to make an escape.
The flash is blinding and your eyes water, sending tears down your cheeks. You can barely recognize Sebastian’s silhouette in front of you, and you can only hope that he freezes, or just lashes out at you-
The light fades and you’re left in the dark. You blink neon spots from your eyes, only to find two unmistakable blue orbs in the dark, a mere step away from you. “Did you really expect that to work?” Sebastian laughs cruelly.
Suddenly the flash beacon is ripped out of your hand and smoothly crushed, crackling in the air. You can hear the moment the fragments hit the ground, the impact echoing throughout the space. Your heart is roaring in your ears. Then, something disrupts the silence: the telltale shift of a door falling open. You turn around to find a green “56” illuminated on the wall. You’re almost paralyzed in fear, torn between making a run for it and staying in Sebastian’s sights.
He seems to sense your indecision, because he hums thoughtfully. “I’ve decided to be generous.” Sebastian says vaguely. Before you can wonder what that means, he’s continuing. “I’ll give you a twenty second head start.”
Twenty seconds isn’t nearly long enough for you to run away. You stare at his piercing blue eyes in disbelief.
There’s no way for you to discern the expression on his face in this darkness, but you just know he’s smirking. “Nineteen…” He whispers, sounding dangerously close to your ear. You instinctively bat at the space just next to your face, but there’s nothing. “Eighteen…”
It’s hopeless. That’s not nearly enough time to put a significant distance between the two of you.  Not to mention, you have no idea what the next rooms contain. If they’re submerged in water, you’re really screwed.
“Fifteen… fourteen…” Sebastian’s voice jolts you back into reality. Adrenaline running through you, you race towards the next hall.
It doesn’t matter where you choose to go—you know he’ll find you. And Sebastian knows the futility of your attempted escape, if the malicious laugh echoing down the halls is any indication.
There’s no telling what he’ll do when he finds you.
…And he will find you.
You clamp a hand over your mouth to quiet your breathing and close your eyes, pretending you’re absolutely anywhere else. But you can only stay in the cramped locker for a few moments, before you’re beginning to panic. When you exit the locker, you can hear him in the distance. Gritting your teeth, you decide to just keep running.
Eyefestation is in the next hall, attempting to drag your attention towards it. You instinctually fight it off, at first, until you come to a realization.
You don’t want to give Sebastian the satisfaction of catching you. You don’t want to participate in this perverted game of his.
And, if you’re going to die anyways… you might as well have some control over it.
Mind made up, you turn back towards Eyefestation and stare right back at it—until your vision is flooded with blinding green and countless blinking eyes. You fall to the ground, and the last thing you hear before succumbing to darkness is a frustrated scream.
You wake slowly, as if wading through a thick sludge. When your eyes finally manage to open, you find yourself in the same room as always, sitting in front of Sebastian’s desk. There’s a harsh sound as Sebastian slams his hand on the desk in frustration. He doesn’t even give you the file on Eyefestation, instead glaring at you furiously. His fists are clenched so tightly that it looks as if he’s shaking. Despite the fear coursing through you, you still feel… satisfied. You didn’t allow yourself to be a pawn in his game.
And he knows it. There’s tension written all across his face. He almost seems to surround the entire space, his tail swishing violently behind him. “Get out.” Sebastian orders, clearly displayed. His voice is raspy and smooth all at once. There’s a dangerous calm in the way his body stills as he locks eyes with you. “Before I rip you limb from limb.”
You’re not sure if that’s an empty threat or a founded one, and you decide you don’t want to find out. You don’t hesitate to get up and run out the door, your heart racing as you sprint to the nearest submarine. Even when you’re enclosed within walls of metal, you can’t get rid of the goosebumps prickling along your skin—and the unquestionable notion that you’ve just made a terrible mistake.
