This 1953 Muntz Jet convertible underwent a three-year custom build under previous ownership, and it was purchased by the seller in 2021. The car is powered by a fuel-injected 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear end, and it is finished in Apple Pearl with a white Carson-style removable top over gray snakeskin-style Naugahyde upholstery. Features include custom bodywork, an Art Morrison frame, power-assisted steering, four-wheel disc brakes, airbag suspension, Painless Performance wiring, and more modified and fabricated details. This custom-built Muntz is now offered with a copy of Rodder’s Journal magazine featuring a story on the build and a clean California title in the name of the seller’s business.

A quick bit of mental math informed him of just how much superheated steam was inside those pipes, just waiting to escape and sear his flesh while pelting him with bent pieces of metal, but he pushed those thoughts aside; he'd told Speaker Brinthe that he could see to this engine, and he would do just that. Besides, it wasn't like he was alone.

"Alright, got the secondary valves set, had to reinforce two of them with that kobold glue, but it should hold for at least a week." Lorellai said, rappelling down the machine using her wrist-mounted grapple so she could see and speak to the prince. "What's next?"

"Now that those are set, we should just need to disable the upper tertiary valve, and then set the primary to half open, and the pressure should optimize." Dagran said, looking at the old diagrams he'd been provided.

Lorellai smiled. "Easy enough, be right back!" she declared, hitting a toggle on her grapple and hauling herself back up amongst the pipes. Dagran focused his gaze on the various gauges before him, and tried to dispel thoughts of how much upper body strength that miss Truthhammer had, and how shapely it made her arms and shoulders, especially when she removed her coat due to the heat, revealing the sleeveless shirt underneath. You look at the brass goggles and the tan leather hat and gloves. Around you are many gauges bubbling and spitting. Bright purple sparks fly from a generator. The smell of coal, steam, oil and the sparks, is a rather nice mix, but none of it fills you with confidence.

"Put them on! Time to go!"

A million questions go unasked, as the contraption clangs and grinds. It shakes a bit too.

I smile, "Grand isn't it? I built it two hundred years ago you know!"

In your pale silence you are full of regret. You are shaking like a shitting dog!
