Just finished another #deerparkmonastery #thichnhathanh #retreat Words cannot express the magic of this place. I painted a bunch with some supplies that inexplicably appeared when I needed them. Each painting I made was gifted to a wonderful person who, like the supplies, showed up at just the right moment to share with me their story... Ashin Bodhi Nyana told me about this spot being his favorite meditation place and how just the night before, he had realized a deep insight while sitting there. It was the perfect moment and we spent many more moments during the retreat talking about our struggles and suffering.
