{Artists Note}:

I felt like doing a little illustration of Keiki because I had an idea for her outfit and I had a sketch I made of her a little while ago and wanted to use it since I'm kinda stuck on the border of being artblocked but having ideas at the same time ehhh it's werid moving on. I didn't add her little handkerchief thing on her head mainly because I couldn't figure out how to draw it right. This also served as some fun experimentation with my new style, the hair is personally my favourite pat of the drawing, along with the clothes. I just kinda gave up on making a background because I was tired lol. I wanna make a few more little sketches of keiki with the handkerchief in my hair since I think that's a really key part of her design and the only reason I'm unable to get that to look right is because of a ✨🎀 𝒮𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝐼𝓈𝓈𝓊𝑒🎀✨ (TM) on my part so yeah lol. I've probably been looking at this for too long anyway so, I should probably take a break from looking at this lol.

I imagine this outfit to kind of be what she would wear in a more formal setting, like, this is the one dress that she hasn't gotten dirty from crafting and stuff and she also has little earrings inspired by Kofun era jewelry. The outfit and bows are also kofun era inspired.

hey, i'm not so sure about including characters from welcome home on this bracket. i'm gonna assume you didn't know and are just going off of nominations you received, but welcome home isn't a piece of media that's been released, it's an in the works passion project by one person who's been MAJORLY stressed by the huge amount of not entirely wanted attention on their characters in the last few weeks. you are one of the most popular polls on tumblr and again while i'm not laying any blame on you here, i would really gently suggest removing frank and julia from the bracket. i don't think it would be appropriate to treat welcome home the same as any other piece of media here

I do understand this sentiment, and thank you for telling me anon, I am not within the Welcome Home fandom so I had no idea this was such a big issue.

With that in mind, I'm afraid I have to say the doubles round is postponed indefinitely while I try to figure out a way to get in contact with the creator. Since larger attention like this is stressful for them I'd like to seek their permission to feature their characters in my tournament. If that permission is revoked or if contact fails, I'll switch them out for another nominated pair selected by myself. If any of you know of a way to speak with Welcome Home's creator professionally I would appreciate it if you could tell me as, again, I am not a part of this community. Thank you for your understanding.
