I absolutely love Nai's protectiveness over Pennhung and his willingness to fight for him and to keep him safe. He always checks on him when he's with the bigger group, glancing back and giving him little nods and a little reach of his hand without touching him to offer the safety net of his presence. He is always willing to punch anyone for the threat of harming Pennhung and the only things that stops him is a literal gun to his head.

And then insisting that he's the one to pick the serum to save Pennhung? And running ahead of everyone else?

I love Nai and his love for Pennhung. He doesn't even turn around when White is hurt. He has his own goals and that goal is Pennhung.

And Tibet gives him CPR because, frankly, Nai is too busy panicking as hard as Pheng at the thought of losing him.

Nai cares about Pennhung so much and he shows it by being safe for him and being a safe person that won't overwhelm his boundaries but will always invite him to be there with them how he's comfortable.

Master Prasath is a coward, bully psychopath who picked Pennhung and Pheng cause he perceives these 2 as the weakest link among the children..never have the word croissant 🥐 devastated me so much 😭😭😭😭

Home School is truly an acting battle ground between the veterans and the youngsters. But the one I need to see so badly playing another main role(s) in another drama(s) is Chalad Na Songkhla. Master Prasath is one hell of a character to portray, and he did it so so well.

Me watching Home School Episode 10:

1. Is it just me, or Master Prasath looks like Pennhung if Pennhung grows up to be a psycho sociopath with no morals? 🙁 It must be the hat.

2. I think of all the Masters, Praeporn is who I trust the least. There's just something in her ability to smile through everything that creeps me out.

3. Oh boy. I don't trust Jingjai and Hugo because they are showing tendencies of being "re-programmed" while there's just something about Tibet that I do not trust at all, reprogramming or not (see last week's post).

4. Of course, it's a given that the escape will not be successfully as we still have 8 more episodes. However, it is still interesting to watch the students get their sh*t together for a common goal.

5. Is this why Run the only one left in his "generation"? Because everybody chose to go "home" (which, I think is bull considering that nobody has gone public about Home School). I fear for everyone who rode that mini bus 😭😭😭

6. I see, Amin is the Grand Master of gaslighting. The old f—ker can certainly hold a master class about it. But then again, from the onset, everyone's parents (aside from Maki who is an orphan because big bro Run has already murdered their Dad who I also suspect is another sh*tty parent) were sh*tty to begin with.

7. Ngl, I would have done more than punch White's greedy manipulative auntie. Also, Fuji should have kicked her father on the groin too. It seems only Hugo and Jingjai got the right idea to run away from home too.

8. So much tears from Nai and Tibet. But the episode really didn't show why Nai was sent to Home School, didn't they? Also, Tibet got abandoned because his mom did not want him to see her die. Wtf.

9. Ah, there it is. But did Tibet's dad really used to teach Home School? Or is it all just Master Amin's ploy to get Tibet's loyalty?

The plot thickens. Prasath and Praeporn both creep me out. I do hope Hugo and Jingjai follow through on their plans to run away to Pattaya together. However, judging by next episode's preview, it seems they will also come back to Home School (probably because they accidentally killed Jingjai's dad).

I wonder what would happen now that they have all learnt that their parents (and aunt) have basically threw them away? 🤔🤔🤔

I’ve finally watched the last eps of Home School. Ngl I fast forwarded some moments but that confrontation between Tibet and Prasath in ep 17… brilliant performances on both parts!

Home School exceeded my expectations and I don’t regret watching it. I don’t think it needed 18 episodes to tell its story — some eps were repetitive thus slightly undermining the messages the series was trying to convey — but, overall, it’s one of the most well-written shows (if not the most well-written) that I’ve watched from GMMTV.

there's smth that makes me so deeply uncomfortable with the latest home school episodes, ep.15 and 16 in particular, that I assume isn't the thing that is supposed to be making me uncomfortable

everyone's parts feel out of place, it feels like everyone is waiting for their turn like in a stage play, there's no natural flow to dialogues nor movement amongst bigger groups of people. the reactions sometimes feel straight up bizarre. situations feel dragged and other things like they haven't been paid enough attention to.

prasath's extensive use of screentime (and he is A LOT, the actor is phenomenal) combined with the fact I haven't seen most of the characters I care about the most for a whiiilee? recipe for annoyance levels so high I just exit the video to take a breath

finished home school and that ending was definitely setting up a potential second season but honestly. do we need one? I think we've seen enough. there were points along the way I felt pretty invested in the storyline but there were also points I didn't care at all. I never understood the motivation of prasath and not-gumpa like why is it so important for them that these kids get revenge??? also I didn't care about amin dying, he was hypnotised all through the series I have emotions about that man I don't know him. idk it's hard to not compare it to the gifted and if you wanted to watch just one I would definitely recommend the gifted before this.
