alright, so i saw someone in a jason mask doing asmr on tiktok, and now i gotta figure out what kind of asmr the horror movie serial killers would make.

i’m not very knowledgeable in asmr types or horror movie serial killers, so bear with me on this.

we’ll start with jason:

the jason that started this was doing direct mic like,, shaving cream asmr, so i’m gonna go ahead and say jason is more into sensory asmr that focuses on specific sound triggers.

pennywise:

mans definitely does mukbang asmr of eating children. slurp slurp. children r yummy. i can’t imagine this gets monetized very well, though, but the idea of him doing this is just… hilarious.

ghostface:

imma be honest and say i don’t know much about this character… but i feel like he/they would be very into obscure scenario/role-play asmr. like bad doctor asmr or mad scientist asmr? they like focusing on a story behind each asmr video they do.

leatherface:

i don’t know much about leatherface, either? i tjink he’d be very into makeup/beauty asmr, n trying to make u look pretty through the camera:)

chucky:

my guy is really into cooking/chopping asmr. he really likes chopping things up with knives.

the creeper:

again, don’t know much about him. he does a lot of drawing/drawing with random things type asmr. sometimes he’ll add interesting facts in the closed captions, so make sure you have those on. he doesn’t actually talk..? so he’s a silent asmrtist who likes to educate people as best as he can.

candyman:

are… are you kidding me? eating asmr, mostly centered around desserts/candy. same vibes as pennywise, but treated a bit more seriously? at least in the sense that he is more monetized than pennywise is lmao-

pinhead:

i was honestly gonna say that he does like,, slime/crunch asmr, but i think he’s also very into solving complicated puzzle boxes as asmr.. and rubix cubes lol

freddy kreuger:

manz reads bedtime stories as asmr. you cannot tell me this man doesn’t figure out how to do asmr as an easy way to get people to fall asleep. he sits in a lil chair with a lil reading lamp and reads stories as asmr. i’d be cute if he wasn’t doing it as a way to murder you.

michael myers:

cooking/baking asmr. he goes real heavy on good cooking/baking asmr cause he can’t talk, but he gets to show off some of his skills in the kitchen. you gotta be real smart while making a good meal. this totally isn’t partially based on a comic i saw of michael being a good cook at a cookout. yes he wears a “kiss the cook” type apron in every video.

jigsaw:

i had to specifically look him up because i couldn’t remember his name. he does video game asmr. like on online puzzle games or minecraft or that one powersoaker game? he just sits there n plays the game n talks n tells stories in a quiet voice.

I haven’t listened to this song in a while, and the inspiration for seeking it out was weird -- my parents watching the latest of the Sharknados. (Can you believe we’re up to five?!) Thinking about sharknados and the infinitely more probable waterspouts made me remember the music video (since it involves people running from water), and so I put it on.

And then I started actually listening to the lyrics, and -- yeah, they’re just a bit Valicey. It makes me think of a Victor and Alice who were separated for a while, and are having a very emotional reunion (possibly after one or both of them thinking the other was dead?) And I think this particular set of lyrics sums up Victor’s initial reaction to meeting Alice very nicely:

Hype Works Food Service: Because I Forgot What Day I Was On

There were a lot of days that I worked. Not a whole lot, but just enough. Here’s the recent stuff.

I made the switch to closing shift.

I’m guaranteed 40 hours just because.

If only I started the month out this way. I could have avoided a few issues.

Working with the closing crew is a bit better for me emotionally.

The other crew members are generally nicer and more chill.

My shift manager is understanding, but still encourages me to learn all I can. She does not let me give up when it gets hard.

Days have generally been a lot better since I started doing the later shift. People are friendlier.

I smile at customers AND coworkers.

I am getting faster and taking an filling orders at the Pick-up Windows.

Customers still tend to like my overall pleasantness and friendly, customer service persona.

I complimented and had a long chat with a customer late last night, and she offered me a free drink at the bar she works at. She told me not to let anyone change me.

That is the third time I’ve heard that since working here.

Thank god there is an apron to use while washing dishes. I hate when my uniform is soaked from the Powersoak sink.

Apparently our store is being held to the same standards as one-lane store even though we have two lanes.

Starting today (I am not working) our dining room will be open to 1am. It previous closed at 11pm.

This leaves even less time for the person working the front register to clean the dining area.

Oh my god such a bad idea

The customers will never end.

So many people are going to quit and speaking of which.

I put in my two week notice today.

It was not due to longer dining room hours. I’m going home!

I think if there were tips, I’d get some.
