   Holding several bags in hand, he had clearly just spent far too much money clothes shopping, reveling in the fact that he can dress in a modern society and only choose his own styles rather than also having to fit into Yugis style (they have the same fucking style anyways.) He was stopped in his tracks when he notices a very familiar, simply iconic coat in the elevator and slips into the same elevator with a grin.

   ominous...... “Kaiba, it has been far too long, hasn’t it?” At least he had seen him more recently than the others of his time considering..... Kaiba went back in time to duel him and all....

   Growing up, he was accustomed to living with others and doing what he could to help out. He didn’t mean to notice little things about his new roommate, he shouldn’t really care but... clearly he knew more about his roommate and who he was than visa-versa, which was kind of annoying, actually. Seto Kaiba was a morning person... and a night person. Well, every time he was awake, he was so that was concerning. 

    Having woken up himself, he was comfortable enough with Kaiba now that he just wore pajamas. (the first two days or so he was Fully Dressed because... well..... he should be, right?) Making two cups of coffee, he’s remembered just how the other liked his coffee and brought it out to the unnecessary long kitchen table that he was seated on, typing away on his laptop. Sitting down beside the other, he left a chair in-between them, not wanting to invite himself into the others personal space without a direct invitation to do so. Sliding the coffee closer to the other, he tilts his head back to look at the clock hanging in the living room area. 

    “ Are you working? It’s before nine a.m. Don’t you owe yourself some sleep? Not that it’s any of my business. “ it’s not like I care about your well-being or anything! He can admit that he was being a little... intrusive and that he shouldn’t worry about a stranger so much, but he held the other in high regard.

Recticel und Covestro kooperieren in der Entwicklung bahnbrechender Lösungen, um Matratzen nachhaltiger zu machen und sie für die Kreislaufwirtschaft vorzubereiten. Dazu gehört die Erforschung von Rohstofftechnologien von der Matratzenproduktion bis zum Ende der Nutzungsdauer und darüber hinaus. Auf der Möbelmesse imm cologne 2020 zeigt die Schlaraffia® / Recticel Schlafkomfort GmbH solche innovativen und nachhaltigen Lösungen an ihren Ständen A010 und A011 in Halle 5.2.

„Polyurethan-Matratzen sind seit langem weit verbreitet und werden wegen ihres Komforts geschätzt“, so Boudewijn Dezutter, Commercial Director bei Recticel. „Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, den nachhaltigen Wert des Materials in jeder Phase des Lebenszyklus weiter zu steigern. Das Projekt ist Teil eines langfristigen Programms, mit dem sich Covestro stark auf die Kreislaufwirtschaft ausrichtet“, sagt Dr. Berit Stange, Leiterin Circular Economy im Segment Polyurethanes bei Covestro. „Dabei setzen wir insbesondere auf die Verwendung von Rohstoffen aus nachhaltigen Quellen wie Abfall, Pflanzen und CO2.“

Polyurethan zu einem wirklich nachhaltigen Werkstoff machen Das größte Potenzial zur Schließung von Kreisläufen in der Kunststoffindustrie liegt im Recycling von Post-Consumer-Abfällen. Dies gilt insbesondere für das Recycling von duroplastischen Werkstoffen wie Polyurethanen. Massenprodukte wie Matratzen sind hier ein Schwerpunktthema. Dazu will Covestro durch die Entwicklung chemischer Recyclingtechnologien beitragen.

Das Unternehmen ist Teil des europaweiten Forschungsprojekts „PUReSmart“, das neun Unternehmen und akademische Einrichtungen aus sechs Ländern umfasst und von Recticel koordiniert wird. Sein Ziel ist es, einen kompletten Produktlebenszyklus zu entwickeln und Polyurethanschaum zu einem wirklich nachhaltigen Werkstoff zu machen, indem gebrauchte Produkte wie zum Beispiel Matratzen wiedergewonnen und in Komponenten für bestehende oder neue Produkte verwandelt werden.

Covestro unterstützt die Weichschaumindustrie mit einer Lösung, um eine komplette Kreislaufwirtschaft mit Polyurethanschäumen und insbesondere Post-Consumer-Matratzen zu erreichen. In diesem Zusammenhang untersucht das Unternehmen bereits die Machbarkeit eines kurzfristigen Scale-up vom Labormaßstab zum halbindustriellen Niveau, mit dem Ziel, das chemische Recycling zu einem effizienten industriellen Prozess zu machen. Diese Lösung soll dann auch das aktuelle PUReSmart-Projekt unterstützen.

CO2 als Baustein für Weichschaumstoffe Neben dem aktuellen Projekt zur Verwertung von Post-Consumer-Abfällen setzt Covestro bereits seit Jahren auf die Nutzung alternativer Rohstoffe. Der Einsatz von CO2 als Baustein für die chemische Synthese steht dabei im Mittelpunkt und führte zur bahnbrechenden Entwicklung eines CO2-Polyols. Ein Forscherteam von Covestro und der RWTH Aachen schaffte es damit in die Endrunde des renommierten Innovationspreises des Bundespräsidenten für Wissenschaft und Technik.

Recticel war das erste Unternehmen, das die Entwicklung des CO2-Polyols der Marke cardyon® von Covestro unterstützt und für die Herstellung seiner Weichschäume nutzt. Die Wiederverwendung von Kohlendioxid trägt zur Schließung des Kohlenstoffkreislaufs für Matratzen bei. Im Januar 2018 führte Recticel die neue zweite Generation seines GELTEX® Schaumstoffs auf Basis des CO2-Polyols ein.

Yugi had met many faces from his past in Koi from Domino City. In fact, he’s not very lonely anymore during his eventual stay in the city. Who else he might run into? It would be full of surprises but unless you’re Bakura or Malik, he’d stay in his lane thank you.

He kept gazing into his deck that rested on his hands. The duelist hadn’t dueled for a while, in fact-- he can get used to it. People were passing him by as he walked on Koi’s streets, thinking that he’s lucky that he ran into Atem and Ryou. Sometimes, he’d figured he could strike up a chat with them. 

Ryou and Yugi are room mates, so there’s no need to worry about being alone in the city. The boy paused and froze for a moment when he saw someone familiar within his vision and a shadow looming over him.

Yugi gaped at the familiarity. He was surprised to see him here too. He quickly kept his deck in his pocket.

“No way... Kaiba!?”

       It was not very often that entirely new set of cards was to be announced in rotation, but there was too be so many new additions that Pegasus being the flashy man that he is, decided to hold a sort of gala for the top duelists to come and observe the cards in action. Naturally, both he and his younger brother were invited to the event, given their titles and such. The idea of a sort of gathering itself was a bit tedious, but to see these new cards and meet potential competition and perhaps friends was exciting in itself.

        All ‘big name’ Duelists and their given fields of expertise were there to observe these new cards, most carrying their deck boxes around their waists in case any sort of dueling was to break out -- And given the amount of card crazy competitive men and women in the room, he did the same. Needless to say, if anyone was going to dare challenge him, he’d be prepared.

       His intention for the night however was to stick with Yugi, just there to observe this new set and maybe idle conversation, but he had other things to do that weren’t attend this and frankly if Yugi hadn’t be equally insistent he may not have come at all. The Pharaohs excitement on the whole event however shrunk as he realized that they would be organized through the show with assigned seating. Though, some sort of relief was found when it was based upon your ranking in a previous tournament that he had hosted so he was still next to Yugi.

        However, he was sandwiched between his brother and Seto Kaiba.

      Now, this was not something he particularly minded, finding an odd sort of ‘friendship’ and the fighting spirit in the competition of a challenging duel, but the other quite obviously did not feel the same way towards the brothers, however Yugi in particular. The urge to challenge the young CEO to a duel after this show of sorts was almost unstoppable as he saw the other move to begin to take his seat just as he was.

        “It would seem we are stuck together. How lucky.” There was the slightest trace of sarcasm laced into a deep voice.
