S2e4 "The Rings of Power "

I did not see that anyone emphasized this moment, but in vain. Everyone who knows the lyrics will understand, everyone who is new, take a listen. Galadriel tries to give her ring to Elrond saying "Take it Elrond".

This is a hint at how Gil-Galad will give his to Elrond in Season 5( i think e6 or e 7 befor battle of last aliens. And Elrond will become the new savior.

But the scene with GG will be more filled with drama. Because either vvn will do it in Lothlorien when there is still room for elven fortresses before Mordor, or it will be after a deadly duel for him ,he will lie in Elrond's arms and ask him to remove his ring from his hand.

If I understood correctly the actor Mark Ferguson, who played GG in the movie, there was a scene where GG gives Elrond his ring and says something to him. I heard this in one very old interview
