i finally finished sewing a summer outfit for Herbie this week!! took him to get a kiwi tea because he did such a good job sitting still for the fittings.... 💚

patterns i used were modified from DIY Cheng's 15cm doll jumper and 20cm doll beret. Herbie is a pretty nonstandard size, sitting at about 17cm, so i had to adjust the scale on both accordingly. (i also had to widen the legs on his pants to accommodate for his big ol paws 😭) it was kind of a headache, but i'm really happy with how they turned out!

everything to do with my getting this job has happened at the store a twenty-five minute walk from my house, except. tmrw is my final day of induction & it is. at the store an hour away by bus. the store so big the individual departments inside it are labelled on google maps. the store i have never been to before in my life, and now i have to be there at 8:45AM on a sunday.
