Credit: @sun.yi I used to say “my content is better than theirs, why are they growing faster than me?” I found out they were doing all the right “tactics”. They never miss a day of posting, they spend 8 hours a day engaging, they study other popular content and replicate it... And every post I see from a big creator, there they are in the first comment, kissing ass. I tried doing these at first, but it felt gross. It just wasn’t me. I also didn’t have the time. I got an actual business to run. I’ve seen some of them go from zero to 10k in 3 months. It took me 4 months to get my first 5k followers. And then something interesting happened... It took me less than 1 month to get the next 5k. Then 10 days to get the next 5k. This week I got almost 10k followers barely posting anything! I was growing exponentially while others were still growing at the same rate. I did this by creating relatable content. Everyday I get DM’s from people saying: “My best friend told me about you and I’m so glad she did” “I found you on explore and I stayed up all night binging through your feed” “I feel like every post you make is speaking directly to me” “I’m patiently waiting for your next post” When you build a community you’ll have higher engagements and algorithm comes to you. When you become a slave to the algorithm, you have to keep feeding it, else the growth stops. Do you really want people to follow you because of an algorithm? if you want to display the image header, make sure the toggle switch for ‘show header’ is on, then select either ‘multiple images’ or ‘single image’

try to use HD images where possible - header images are set to auto fill ( cover )

add your tumblr name to ‘yourblogname’ in the basic editor to appear in the footer

just enter a number the post size you require in the ‘postsize’ box in the basic editor.  e.g. for 400px posts, just enter the number 400 ( without the px )

keep the description to ~ 3 lines of text!

please note - tumblrs toggle options can mess up on pasting the code which makes your theme look weird!  just toggle them all off then switch on the ones you want!

A revamp of a theme i originally did in 2015. I had to take it down as the scripts stopped working and i wasnt skilled enough to figure out how to fix them. Thanks to some awesome tutorials by @shythemes​ i was able to bring this theme back again as i got many requests for a theme with either two columns or the option for infinite scrolling. Well, this theme has both!

This theme is recommended for people with aesthetic blogs who post mainly photos!

2 columned theme

customizable postsizes (200-400px) (400px posts on the permalink-page)

customizable post-margins

optional avatar (an option to make it round is there too)

option to choose between having one or two columns

option to choose between the standard pagination and infinite scrolling

option to remove tags and captions on the index-page
