lol don't think I ever started doing ship opinions, it's just so happened that I tackled a lot of ship related asks after one another 😅 but always happy to contribute Norway related information regarding connections and relations to other nations! ✨

Can't say I've ever heard about Egypt and Norway as a ship before, so I'm starting all fresh with this one. Norway and Egypt don't really have a lot of relations with each other - most of the dealings between the two nations is regarding Norwegian ships and the Suez, as well as military collaborations, and some Norwegian companies have investments in Egypt. I won't say Egypt is a very popular tourist destination, but there are definitely Norwegians who go there on holiday. There's no major cultural links or other funfacts I can find about them in my very short time looking into this.

For me, I need a historical link or some other cultural bond to really enjoy ships, so I think I'll need a bit more convincing on this one ✨

Rewatching the latest episode of Blank and I just keep laughing at Chet. That man is surrounded by queer women - his almost wife, his child's mother and his child - and yet he is homophobic. But he doesn't want to be the one to tell his child so the ridiculousness of him trying to get queer women Khun Neung to go over to a table of queer women (consisting of her sister Sam, the girl she likes Aneung, and the girl they're going to use to make each other jealous Yui) and tell them that being gay is wrong... my man you are in the wrong crowd.

At least he has the confidence to be homophobic straight to Neung and Aneung's faces next week with the "A lesbian novel?!?!"

A new bill/law about self-determination (uh... google translates Selbstbestimmung to that, not entirely sure if that is wholly right) was passed in the Bundestag (lower house of German parliament (google translate again).

So, in Germany, it is easier to change your name and gender designation (still not sure if that is the right translation) at the registry office. Without any gender-affirming operation nor psychiatric observations. Since Germany is a bureaucracy, you need to make the appointment for the change at least three months beforehand. Your name must fit your new gender designation and you have to make an official statement that you are wholly aware of the bandwith of your decision.

Additionally, you can only change it back after a year waiting time.

Parents need to consent for children between 14-18 and they need to give the statement for younger children.

That said, people with a changed gender designation can still be denied access to genderspecific places, eg. a transwoman can be denied access to an all-female sauna by the owner.

But considering that before, you needed to go through the psychiatric assessments and through the surgeries, which both take a massive amount of time (and money), to hope to change your status, without full guarantee! Now it is so much easier.

I am glad. I am happy.

I just had the realization that nearly every single conversation that the party has in the House sounds EXACTLY like a side chat from a Tales game. I can't even list specifics because they just all sound Like That. No wonder Tales of Symphonia is marked as huge inspiration!!!

Man. If I had any animation skills, I'd love to translate one of the House conversations to a side chat. Particularly either the vodka one or Bonnie asking about people kissing in plays. Those would be so fun to see.

Going to be honest, I always love looking at the draculaura tag and seeing chubby/fat draculaura art. It makes me feel happy as, someone who is fat themself, to see my main comfort character drawn like that. Like, I LOVE her (platonic) and I love also seeing the fanart of fat draculaura. She's just so pretty and it makes me very happy. 🩷

I love how anytime people defend g2 and talk about how its actually “so slept on” the only dolls they bring up as being the good ones are- *checks list*

Shriek wercked (a scrapped g1 doll line) garden ghouls toralei (JUST toralei) moanica(a design sanders made) , party ghouls and zomby gaga(which is not even a good doll-her outfits are horrid)

Its always these specific dolls thats it-and majority arent even really all that jaw dropping like alot of g1 or g3 dolls their just..nice 😭 having a reboots best dolls just be “nice” isnt enough to show a reboot is actually “so slept upon”
