Days ago I had a dream that ONE drew a comic in which Teru confided in Reigen that he was in love with Mob, after which I woke up feeling very sad that it wasn't real lmao, so I drew a sappy terumob

post ending. Teru loves seeing Mob laugh.

I was torn between Teru's manga end hair and his anime end hair because I think they're both nice. In the end I went with the manga hair because the manga is extra special to me, but I might draw him again with his anime hair sometime.

Sexuality Headcanon:

gay. specifically. ok. maybe my most strange and specific take. but i feel like teru being into girls would kind of make his character arc... weaker? bizarre sentence i know but. hear me out. of the shots we get of him before mob enters the picture, 2/3 of them involve him flirting with girls. post mob we never ever see him with a girl again aside from one omake where there are a crowd of them trying to ask him out on valentines day who he is turning down. i feel like we are supposed to see these relationships as being a part of his fake, "perfect" persona he sheds rather than anything that came out of general interest. he's dating them because he's the handsome popular guy and that's what he's supposed to do, not because he's actually interested at all.

A ship I have with said character:

terumob GIANT ASTERIX in the very specific context of being post confession arc. i see heart eye panel as the exact moment his false, idolized image of mob fades away and he sees him for what he truly is and still chooses to love him flaws and all. i really do think they are able to understand each other on a much deeper level than most people because they have both seen each other at their lowest and still chosen to continue wanting to be in each others lives. they both coped with their powers by creating these perfect masks to show the world (teru's as the prodigy and mob as the nice guy who will do anything for you and never ask anything in return) and were the first to be able to identify each other's facade because they recognized themselves in them and 💥. they mean a lot to me. also i do think the "they dont hang out much post canon" thing is a slight misconception, teru says they dont plan hangouts much and usually just run into each other and hang out from there. that with teru's "you should ask me to hang out more" gives such "im so used to other people making the first move that i havent developed the skills to let people know that i want them in my life" energy it makes me a little insane. anyway.

A BROTP I have with said character:

i need him ritsu and shou to run in circles hitting each other with rocks. i think any two of them on their own hang out normally and if you have the three of them + mob its normal but just the three of them and they start inventing games like "powerline volleyball"

A NOTP I have with said character:

pre confession arc terumob. like mob would never because tsubomi but if they did date it would last one month and they would never speak again itd be so bad (spoken from experience by a person with similar attachment issues who has dated people ive been hyperfixated on before)

A random headcanon:

HES SUCH A FILM BRO I KNOW HES A FILM BRO. this kid's letterboxxed is comprised solely of 1960s horror films made on a budget of 2 dollars and if you watch any of them with him he will provide trivia the entire film. also he has npd source fucking look at him

General Opinion over said character:

hes my favoriteeeeeeee the first time he showed up with the wig i went "alright this is gonna be my favorite character" and i spent the first half of season 2 mournfully going "i miss haystack boy :(" every episode he wasnt in. and then i read the manga and i got crazy insane over him. i really do feel like the anime dumbs him down a lot manga teru is a completely different person and hes so interesting i need to like. tear holes in my drywall. god. teru.

Wow I am in a drawing mood! Yes I’m a making au of Teruki being 100% not sure if it was clarified in the anime or manga or not. Or was just a kageyamas thing. BUT WHATEVER because this exists now!! I have a story plot in mind but still in a work progress. I might (will) post art that’s relate to this au and it will be random, some might not be canon but I will clarify if I need too. And why he has white glowy hair and yellow eyes because thought it was cool and the platinum hair teruki art I saw encouraged it more. Also to compliment Shigeo too ╰(*´︶`*)╯

Character I Think is Overrated: Rengen. Don't get me wrong he's great, I really like him, but I don't really get the fans going crazy over him tbh

Favorite Character: Megumi

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: I like the arc in season 1 with Junpei and I really like the scene when Megumi fights Sukuna to bring Yuji back, but there are many scenes I liked in season 2, it was just too sad as a whole

Character I Think is Underrated: Inumaki I'd say idk (but I'm not a manga reader so it's just my perspective as an anime watcher)

Hmmmm oh man. I hate to cop out, but I feel like most fandoms I'm in I'm just a "You do you" kinda fan, so I don't really feel strong enough to pick a character haha No character I have felt strongly about has been wrong by too many people.

2. a compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom

Omg, well, we gotta go back to puzzleshipping for this one haha I love the idea of a Yugi top. So my argument is Atem wouldn't be a top :) Most put Atem as top but I think he absolutely loves Yugi being the one in control (in my opinion~).

6. which ship fans are the most annoying?

God I don't want to touch this one hahaha My copout answer is any incest ship and I hide those tags for a reason. Which they are far more prevalent in so many fandoms I like it's...yeah no thanks.

8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

This will be for Mob Psycho. I don't mind that people make ??? and Mob/Shigeo separate personalities (there are some AMAZING fics that do it, and they are fantastic!) , but I find it toes the line of...diminishing the final chapter, in a way. The whole point is for him to be one, complete whole being. I think adding on a distinct personality to ???...remove from the fact that ??? is, in the end, Shiego. The end of Mob Psycho was him accepting that part of himself. That part that was a little twisted, angry, and upset. And I think keeping them as separate, kinda removes that impact of that growth by Shigeo to accept the negative and more intense sides of himself.

13. worst blorboficiation

Ahhhhh I am old I had to look up what this was haha I really don't know..maybe Mob to an extent? He is flawed in so many ways, and his flaws make him who he is. I've read some fics that take away his flaws a bit too much for my liking.

I wasn't that into TeruMob when I watched and finished Mob Psycho, but I've really come around to it over the last month or so. It's really cute and wholesome! And I'm kinda eating up the fanart rn I feel like it's within the realm of reality with cannon Mob and Teru's personalities. I am in the bucket that Mob wouldn't get into that headspace for awhile though, he has a lot to figure out on his own post-cannon.

I mean, it's been years, but I remember at least in YGO there was a very intense discussion about the end of Dark Side of Dimensions and Seto's decision to basically...fly himself off to the edges of space to see Atem again and I was certainly of the crowd like "Yep that's a bit of a unhealthy obsession, but sure"

25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

Again I'm such a passive person my cop out answer is, I think most complaints are valid haha Especially about Mob Psycho. Like the complaints about certain decisions Bones made in the anime. I didn't read the manga so I can't add to the discussion, but most of the points make sense. it sucks when certain things are not included that feel important to the story.

I also (biased anime-only watcher) love Mob Psycho anime and I will love it forever.

terumob specifically post confession arc again. i put all my big complex thoughts in my teru post so fun version i feel like teru has to ask him out first. mob deserves to have a real confession for once in his life. ONE said that teru is probably the person mob is most likely to go to for advice involving psychic stuff and i like the idea of them having big philosophical conversations about their powers. they just like, have a lot of fun things in common and a lot of fun differences and bounce off each other in a way i feel like works really well.

mobs relationship with all his friends is such an important part of the series that it's so hard to narrow it down to just one but he and tome's friendship really is so special to me. she's so "your best friend in middle school" coded.

this is just a personal thing but i dont really like him and minori as a couple. like them being friends post canon could be really sweet but i feel like a relationship would be. so fucking awkward.

A random headcanon:

i love the idea of him growing up to be a meteorologist :-) either that or a gym teacher. also i think his movie taste is fucking terrible do not give this kid the remote at the sleepover he is turning on freeguy (im sorry freeguy fans)

hes so so special to me god mobbbbbbb love confession arc manga changed my life. like unironically that arc made me stop treating a lot of shit i did in the past as like. something that i personally had control over instead of trying to shove responsibility on my mental illness and it was a big step in me learning that like. the things i did in my past that im not proud of were done by me but that doesnt make me unlovable or unforgivable and my friends and family love me even if im not perfect
