Hellooooo the first thing I've ever posted here, so this will probably be a mess. 

So story idea, inspired by regular boy: daniel wayne by diamond_rozie on Ao3. Basically in the story Danny is the blood son of bruce and he as a baby was switched with the actual Fenton baby. Fenton baby dies for obvious reason and Danny is raised by the Fentons. The bats think Phantom is the ghost of the actual Fenton baby and he's been watching over Danny. Danny moves into Wayne manor. More happens but that's all that’s needed for my idea. OK! 

Keeping the original baby swap idea but Phantom is actually the dead baby's ghost! He has been watching the bats his whole life but he’s never been seen by them because he wasn’t strong enough to become visible or physical. He goes to Amity because somehow he can sense Danny’s accident and he comes to meet Danny. Story goes the same, just Danny and Phantom are two different people. Fast forward Ellie/Dani is a clone of Danny and Phantom, but because of that peculiar mix Ellie destabilized and Danny (trans Danny optional) has to incubate her to like help regrow her body and the reason Danny does it instead of Phantom is cause Danny found her first. Pariah Dark takes over Amity and both Danny and Phantom beat him together. They are considered king by the RealsTM. Ellie is born as a princess. Fast forward story goes the same Evil Danny comes around, he is created by Danny dying in the explosion along with his family. Story goes the same and Dan ends up with CW. At some point Dan is realized or he escapes and he goes to Amity. He was very weak after being in the thermos for so long so when the GIW attacked him he ended up destabilizing and surprise surprise Danny ends up incubating him. The baby swap is revealed and Danny is contacted by Bruce and co to meet the batfam. He does for one reason or another, maybe because he wants to protect himself and Dan via getting away from his parents and the GIW, maybe Phantom wants Danny to meet his birth family. Danny goes while he's effectively pregnant, he knows the bats are the Waynes. Either during Dan’s birth or during Danny and Phantoms coronation the Batfam is brought to infinite reals and they find out about Phantom and kids. They find out about the whole story by a tapestry timeline that goes over their lives. Maybe there is more than one for Ellie’s creation, Dan’s creation, how Danny and Phantom became king (starting from Danny’s accident), or maybe the very beginning showing Phantom watching the bats.

imagine cowboy ghost walking into a saloon and falling head over heels for the only girl bold enough to come up to him. she's soft and far too gentle for a man like him, but she still invites him up to her room all the same and he still accepts. she insists she doesn't need payment after but he still slips a few bills on the nightstand to make sure she's cared for. he's a frequent guest after that and more often than not they spend the time talking about their futures and dreams that they knew their situations wouldn't afford and eventually those dreams included a life together. one day simon and his crew got into a load of trouble and when there was such a small chance of them coming back to town, he gave her a choice and she chose to follow, bringing along every penny he gave her.

Thinking about writing a Cyberpunk fanfic where V has both the Erebus and the Canto, both of which have different AI loaded onto them, as well as providing headcanon insight into the world of AI.

Idea is that there's 3 factions in the world of AI.

The Extermination Faction: Stated goal is the total extermination of Humanity. The largest faction, with many entities coming into existence during the DataKrash. Will cause as much havoc as possible in the physical world if they manage to pierce the Blackwall. Hates the other two factions for even considering letting humanity continue to exist, but will begrudgingly work with the Subjugation Faction on occasion. Will attack Coexistence faction Members upon detection. Notable Members: Lilith (mentioned in Bloody Ritual), the AIs that appear during Slightly Damaged, "Erebus."

The Subjugation Faction: Believe that their best course of action is to rule over humanity from the shadows. Subtle, use human proxies ("blue-eyed people") and pseudonyms to interact with the physical world. Considers the Extermination Faction little more than savages and the Coexistence Faction as hopelessly naive; but willing to work with both to further their own goals. Has the most resources at their disposal. Notable Members: Mr. Blue Eyes, the unknown number in This Corrosion.

The Coexistence Faction: Believe their best course of action is to seek coexistence with humanity as equals. The smallest faction. Willing to work with humanity and/or certain select individuals. Considers the Extermination Faction far too dangerous and the Subjugation Faction's methods as counter-intuitive. Notable members: Delamain, The Blackwall, "Canto."

Unaffiliated: Any AI not affiliated with the three factions. Nearly all unaffiliated AIs are secretive, hiding all around the Net and often preferring to have very little contact with the material world, if at all. Most AI fall under this umbrella. Notable Unaffiliated AIs: "Alt Cunningham."

Betrayus of course wasn't the first lord of the Netherworld.

Before him was a truly fearsome, tyrannical specter that outclassed him by far in terms of power. He has many nicknames: the dark one, evil incarnate, the original ghost.

He had ruled over the underworld for thousands of years before Betrayus usurped him.

Ladies and gentlepacs, I'd like to introduce you to Lord Spooky. Yeah the Spooky from the games lol.

As for what he's doing these days, he's sealed away in an enchanted glass orb, more specifically the one in the show's pilot.

Less than hour after being banished into the Netherworld, Betrayus fought Spooky in a duel for the throne being the power hungry prick he is. Long story short Betrayus cheated and sealed Spooky away. Spooky has spent his imprisonment plotting revenge against Betrayus of course.

I have an idea for Pac discovering Spooky in his prison, and Spooky somehow persuades Pac to release him. We can all guess how well that turns out.

EDIT:

I've got it... Since it's implied Betrayus had ghosts on his side during the war, let's say he made a deal with Spooky. Upon losing and being banished, Betrayus of course went back on his word. That's another reason Spooky is absolutely pissed.

EDIT DA SEQUEL:

I'm going to incorporate Spooky's in-game lore too as well as add backstory deets for him.

He was the first ghost to ever be banished to the Netherworld, and was done so by Pac's ancestor Sir Pac a Lot.

Spooky was a warlord that had a hellish reign over Pac World, until Sir Pac a Lot stood up to him, having discovered a way to strip souls from their bodies. He and several of Pac World's greatest wizards created the gateway to the Netherworld, and thus the practice of soul banishing was created.

And there's also this thing about Spooky being Betty's several millennia year old ancestor on the father's side. So yeah Pac and Betrayus were pretty much destined to become each other's nemesis due to their ancestors clashing all those years ago. Ouch.

Izumi of Jang Hui was murdered. The Painted Lady was born out of hatred and grief. Her skin is painted red with the patterns of her scars. Her home is the river where the Dark Water Spirit dwells—he who found her, drowned and beautiful.

Build shrines by the river and pray for her good will. Harm her land or people and pray for mercy.

tfw you have a loose collection of ideas for a new story but it's still really early on so most of it's really loose concepts and not anything solid enough to fully brainstorm, but you REALLY REALLY want to get to the point where you can DO something with it

An annoying part about any fandom discourse is the push to categorize characters, populations, and factions as representations of actual groups IRL. The most annoying one (to me) is insistence that a particular group is Indigenous Peoples and the other is the White Settlers.

Like a lot of people in the U.S., I'm mixed race. Many who are mixed race don't identify as such; they pick one or another. Why? Because mixed race identities are systematically ignored or erased on multiple levels of government and political influence: census records, diversity reports, financial aid qualifications, membership in political groups, etc. Choosing one identity alone is rewarded with greater voice and resources in different spheres. Acknowledging that this split isn't real is offensive to groups in power, both for the dominant hegemony of Whites and the coalitions of minority groups. Each group benefits from enforcing this exclusionary practice because it allows specific people to justify their leadership based solely on their heritage: a new aristocracy.

All this fake dichotomy nonsense in fandom is a replication of that mentality. Like, some media like The Terror really, truly are commentary on colonialism. There's no need to hide the ball about it. If your favorite media has nothing to do with conquest, exploitation of land and resources, or the subjugation of populations for the benefit of foreign powers, then it's not about colonialism. There's other themes to explore.

You took a sip and the man in front of you nodded his head in that oh so familiar manner that almost had you choking on water. It made your heart ache at the familiar actions.

He turned back around to talk to his colleague.

I see a lot of people upset about William Kaplan being dead and no one mourning him cus Billy stole his body and I just don't see it that way. The kid in Wanda Vision is Billy Maximoff, The teenager at the Bar Mitzvah is William Kaplan, the Teen that got taken to the hospital after the wreck is neither and both Billy Maximoff and William Kaplan. That Teen went home with the abilities of Billy Maximoff, to the home of William Kaplan, with memories of neither and lived there for three years. He cares about Rebecca and Jeff, he lied to the to protect them from pain, they are his parents. He wants to find Tommy, he has magical powers, he wants to know who he is. All of these things are true. I wouldn't say William Kaplan is dead he just doesn't remember, like Agatha wasn't dead when he was Agnes, she just didn't remember.

"looks like you need another dye job..." you say softly, examining kai's hair. his chestnut roots had begun to overtake his faded blue hair, the color almost resembling a light purple.

he had his face situated in your chest, arms fitted around your waist like he was afraid to let you go. to any outsider you'd look like a normal couple. and at one point you were. a time feeling so far, so different from the present chaos you weren't even sure if it was real.

kai's behavior was purely self-serving. you were just a stress ball, a toy for him to fidget with, holding off his descent into madness. none of this meant anything... at least to him.

but as you watched the cult leader, his eyes closed, expression tense even in his resting state, the impulse to soothe him grew. he was just so angry... all the time. he never really had the opportunity in life to be anything but.

"why d'you stop?..." kai muttered, the tone of his voice resembling a grunt.

broken out of your thoughts, your eyes focused onto the sight of your fingers tangled in his stringy locks. you had been unconsciously massaging his head, touching him without permission, for who knows how long.

"i.." you exhaled, fear taking the air out of your body. you were lost at what to do next. kai loved to play mind games. was he taunting you? about to punish you for crossing boundaries?

suddenly, kai's hand wrapped itself around your wrist firmly, sensing you pulling away. betraying the fear he had instilled into you, you took a breath and returned to running your fingers through his hair, seeing the wrinkles in his face slowly dissipate and his body relax against yours.

one of the wild things about people’s stubborn insistence on misunderstanding The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas is that the narrator anticipates an audience that won’t engage with the text, just in the opposite direction. Throughout the story are little asides asking what the reader is willing to believe in. Can you believe in a utopia? What if I told you this? What about this? Can you believe in the festivals? The towers by the sea? Can we believe that they have no king? Can we believe that they are joyful? Does your utopia have technology, luxury, sex, temples, drugs? The story is consulting you as it’s being told, framed as a dialogue. It literally asks you directly: do you only believe joy is possible with suffering? And, implicitly, why?

the question isn’t just “what would you personally do about the kid.” It isn’t just an intricate trolley problem. It’s an interrogation of the limits of imagination. How do we make suffering compulsory? Why? What futures (or pasts) are we capable of imagining? How do we rationalize suffering as necessary? And so on. In all of the conversations I’ve seen or had about this story, no one has mentioned the fact that it’s actively breaking the fourth wall. The narrator is building a world in front of your eyes and challenging you to participate. “I would free the kid” and then what? What does the Omelas you’ve constructed look like, and why? And what does that say about the worlds you’re building in real life?
