"These people," Mira decided, "are idiots." She looked around at her guild mates, completely flabbergasted at their obliviousness. It was obvious who liked who, to her anyways, and she felt somewhat ridiculous as she tried to explain to the group sitting at the bar why they were wrong without giving away people's private lives.

As much as she liked to gossip, there were lines you just didn't cross.

"Gray-sama loves Juvia," the bluenette said confidently, "He's just shy around her." Juvia, along with most of the rest of the girls in the guild, was sitting at a table near the bar and chatting about "Gray-sama."

Mire cringed, "If only you knew." The oldest of the Strauss siblings swore up and down that most everyone in this guild was already in a relationship and just hiding it, "Not to mention that 'your' Gray is most definitely homosexual and dating a certain pinkette." The two of them were sneaky, but not sneaky enough. She'd caught them holding hands under the table too many times for it not to be true.

She gave out another round of milkshakes for them as she tried not to throw in her own comments and give people away.

Her sister didn't have the same thoughts, "I wouldn't be so sure..." She uttered.

Juvia shot a glare her way, and Mira winced in sympathy. Juvia could be terrifying.

"Why wouldn't Gray love Juvia?" She hissed.

Lisanna put her hand on the water mage's shoulder, "For the same reason Natsu didn't love me when were kids." The group of female mages were watching silently, unsure of where this was going.

"She's not going to out them is she?," Mira wondered.

Mira moved closer to stop Lisanna if she had to, but froze at the younger's words, "What you feel is the same thing I felt, and it's not love." Juvia looked like she was going to protest, but Lisanna shook her head, "It's obsession." She moved her had off of Juvia's shoulder and grabbed the vanilla shake Mira was holding out to her.

The long haired bartender shook her head, "Why was I even worried? She probably never figured that out."

Gajeel, who had been listening to the entire conversation, was desperate to pretend like he hadn't. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Juvia's whining. He'd told her it wasn't going to happen, and watching her get told the same thing from someone else was bound to either send her into tears or make her want to spar.

He wasn't willing to make that gamble.

"It's not an obsession," Juvia hissed.

"Don't do it."

"Yes it is, Juvia. Don't do the same thing I did. It'll break you."

"It's not an obsession. Juvia loves Gray-sama."

"You'll regret it later."

"She's right you know," Lucy mumbled.

"Shut-up love rival! You just want Gray-sama to yourse-"

"Fuck it," Gajeel said aloud. Several heads whipped towards him as he made his way over to the gaggle of girls, "You have literally stitched dolls of the ice-bastard, you have photographs that he doesn't know you've taken of him, you steal his clothing, and who knows what else. If you were a boy, and him a girl, you'd be arrested for being a stalker, Juvia." The water mage had become teary-eyed, and Gajeel almost stopped himself. She opened her mouth to protest, but he clamped his hand down over her mouth. "No, Juv. You don't love him. It's an obsession from the fact that he helped you. It's just a stronger version of what you did to me when we first met, and if calling you out in front of the entire guild is what I have to do to get that through your skull, then so be it. I'll be the bad guy again."

He moved his hand and immediately wished he hadn't. A sharp wail instantly pierce the air, and the three slayers in the guild recoiled. Freed acted quickly, and placed runes around both Laxus and Wendy, not bothering with the retreating iron dragon slayer.

"Instant head-aches are the worst."

He shoved the doors open and nearly hit Erza in the face. He mumbled a quick, "Sorry," before shoving past her. As expected, Natsu and Gray weren't too far behind, "Hey, Salamander, don't go in there." Natsu was covering his ears, and Gray was watching him blankly "Actually, you shouldn't either." He directed at Gray. He walked past them, not caring whether they headed his warning.

"I need a nap."

"I know he had to say all that to Juvia, but did he really have to be so cruel about it?" The pinkette hadn't heard the whole conversation, just the end of it, but even he knew that Gajeel's phrasing was a little harsh. "Or maybe it's just the fact that I'm rally good at picking up on emotions. Isn't there a word for that? It was like 'imputh' or something. I know in Dravic it's 'one who feels everything' if you translate it, but I swear there's a Fiori word for it..." He let his thoughts run rampant as he turned to leave.

"Oi, flame-brain," Gray reached for his arm and yanked him backwards, "Did you forget that we're sparing?"

Natsu shook his head, "No, but we can continue elsewhere. Juvia's crying is obnoxious."

"Juvia's... Crying? Is that why Gajeel told us not to go in?" The ice mage scoffed, "I'm perfectly capable of handling myself."

"You and I both know that you don't want to deal with her," Natsu commented, but it was too late. Juvia had opened up the guild doors and was staring at the two of them.

"Shit. She heard that didn't she?" Natsu may not have been the biggest fan of Juvia, especially since she was constantly attaching herself to his boyfriend, but that didn't mean that he wanted to hurt her.

"They were right," Juvia muttered, "Gray-sama doesn't love Juvia, does he?"

Gray froze, and now everyone in the guild was staring at the two of them. Natsu could hear several of the girls muttering about how romantic it would be if Gray stopped her from crying, and it took a lot of willpower not to growl.

"Mine."

"Juvia..." Gray whispered, and several of the girls squealed.

This time Natsu did growl. It was quiet, and he stopped it fairly quick, but it still happened.

"Does Gray-sama love Juvia?" The rain woman was looked absolutely hear-broken, and Gray realized that there wasn't any more putting this off.

"Don't ask me that unless you want an long, honest answer," He said firmly. When she nodded hopefully, Gray sighed.

"I guess now's a better time than any." They'd been a thing for a long time, but considering human customs, Natsu hastily agreed to Gray's idea of keeping it secret.

"Juvia, there is more than one kind of love," He started, "I love you like a gild-mate, like a friend, and like a creepy-obsessive-stalker-like-little-sister, but I can't love you like a lover."

Juvia's crying was a lot more subdued this time, and she had sank to her knees, "But Gray-sama-"

Gray cut her off again, "I promise you it has nothing to do with ridiculous things like how pretty you are or how intelligent, because I'll be one of the first to admit that you're beautiful, both literally and as a person. Love isn't something that you can force, nor is it the picture perfect thing that everyone thinks it is." He bent down and pulled her face in his shoulder. Several people cooed, and a few applauded the ice mage, Natsu being one of them.

"That was adorable," Natsu thought, "And he didn't out us! Hell yeah! No one will immediately assume we're fucking the moment we're alone! Because that's gross,"Natsu ace-self was not about to be accused of such a thing. "Or homophobes. How did I forget that? Homophobes suck."

It took a long while for the guild to calm down after what happened earlier, but it did eventually. Most everyone was crowded around team Natsu's usual table, asking about the mission. The few who were still asking about Juvia were ignored for the most part, but one question didn't go unnoticed by their noisy guild mates.

"Is the part of reason that Gray-sama, er," Juvia paused, "Gray-san, doesn't love Juvia because he loves someone else?" Under normal circumstances, he'd have completely ignored the question, but it had caught him so off guard that he chocked on his water. Everyone had caught on to his slip up, and Gray was mentally cussing himself out.

"There goes hiding it." He threw a side glance to Natsu, who was on the other side of the room eating, and steeled himself for what was to come, "Yes." Gray felt his face go completely scarlet, and he didn't even bother trying to hide it. Several of the girls squealed, and Elfman shouted something about real men admitting their love.

Instantly people began prodding him, asking him about who it was. Most of them were now frozen in place. "Their own fault."

When Gray looked up, he found Erza glaring at him, "Unfreeze them Gray." Needless to say, he complied fairly quickly. "I will only ask three questions. You don have to answer them, but I appreciate it." She had gone into protective big sister mode, and Gray figured that if he didn't answer these in front of the guild, then he have to later. He sighed, still red in the face, and nodded. "Do I know them, are they a good person, and do you really love them or is it a crush."

"Of course she'd ask those questions."

"Yes, no shit, and," Gray paused, thinking about what he was getting ready to say, and deciding to go all out with it. He leaned forward to look directly into his older sister figure's eyes. "I've never had so much as a crush on anyone else."

"So Gray-san does love someone else," Juvia stated. Gray expected her to be upset at that fact, but when he saw her face, she had a ridiculous grin slapped across it,"If Juvia can't have Gray-san, then just means that Juvia has to help Gray-san get the person he loves, so tell Juvia who it is?" Gray gave her a blank look, and Juvia almost wondered if she gone too far again.

"He already knows," Gray blurted, and he realized his mistake the second it came out. His face got redder, and his stance became defensive.

Juvia tilted her head, "If he already knows then why haven't you told anyone?" She asked.

"Juvia completely ignored the fact I said he. Actually, everyone did."

When Gray didn't answer, Erza decided to take the initiative, "You realize that we couldn't care less about that right? So what, you like a guy. I've dated girls before, and I know for a fact that you're not the only gay in the guild. Besides, it shouldn't matter who loves who anyways." She smacked the top of his head, huffing in annoyance, as he rubbed his head, "Now that that's out of the way, I have to reiterate Juvia's question. Why didn't you tell us, without the obvious."

"Do you all remember what I said earlier?"Gray asked. He received several nods. "Love is never what you expect it to be, and considering the relationship between the two of us is very different to the usual depiction, we didn't think you understand it. He's also a lot more secretive than he likes to admit, so I don want to accidentally talk about something that only I know about." Gray had partially zoned out with a smile on his face, but in an instant his features turned possessive, "He's also abso-fucking-lutely adorable and mine and I'm not sharing that."

Mira's voice cut through the noise of the crowd, ¨I think you broke your boyfriend, Gray." Everyone whipped around.

At the bar, Natsu's face was burred in his scarf, but you could still see that it was redder than Gray's, "Asshole," He blurted as he flipped Gray off without bothering to look.

"Love you, Pyro," Gray responded.

"Love you, too, Snowflake," Natsu muttered.

"So that's what Gray-san meant by 'different'."

Gajeel and Wendy didn't look surprised, and the bleunette even threw in a "called it." The lager of the two cleared a small hole in the crowd, and Gray, who'd quickly put together what he was doing, bolted through it and grabbed onto Natsu's arm, "Run," He whispered questioningly.

Natsu nodded, "Run." He slid his arm so as to hold Gray's hand, pulling him along, and before the crowd could catch up to them, they were out the guild's backdoor. "They are going to kill us later," Natsu shouted over the wind. Gray just shook his head and laughed, "Yeah, I don't care either."

Gray watched the pinkette as the ran rather than where they were going, smiling at the energetic fucker he called his. Yeah, they were different, but different isn't always a bad thing. Their uniqueness made their relationship irreplaceable, and Gray would be more than happy to put up with it for the rest of his life.

"When Erza murders us for not telling her, at least I'll have died protecting something precious."

He was made as slave since childhood, but he still has a smile for every one, a hant to offer, a word to make everyone feel better! He was a leader and a protector.

He was the first one to blame himself about Sho's plan, and the only one that went to save Erza.

He was tortured for days, beaten, punished, electrocuted, and more, he got MAGIC possesed, and MAGIC brainwashed by Ultear and became a slave from that magic.

Everyone in TOH was there by choice in that moment, but he was the only one without choice bc he was possesed.

Even so, since he took charge of the tower, no person there was treated badly bc happy workers work more, as he, while being possesed, said in the manga, also, every person there learned to use magic if they pleased.

He then was rescued by Erza and Natsu, free himself from possesion and the first thing he did was take Erza's place inside the lacryma and redirected the explosion, saving everyone in there, no one but Simon, died that day, and anyone who said otherwise is a vile liar.

In Nirvana he wakes up thanks to Wendy. His only memory is Erza's name, the most important person for that enslaved lost boy, and even so, he knows he has to stop Nirvana, and the only way is using a destruction seal spell, that' why he activates Nirvana, no as some ignorant will said that he did it to hurt people, Jellal actually was about to destroy the artifact and would have save everyone, even at the cost of his life bc that way he will protect the codes of deactivation, and he will free Erza from himself bc even if he has no memory about TOH, the true Jellal, woukd have never hurt his friends, that's why he cries when Erza tells her about what happened on TOH.

But Brain came, and deactivated the seal, that's not Jellal fault, if you know how to read you will easily realized that, but not anyone is good at reading, so dont worry, here are the pages, these are the FACTS and not biased and wrong interpretations:

Then he gets arrest, even if he is innocent, still he takes the responsability, and he smile when Erza stops his friends that are fighting for him, bc he knows is the best for them, and of course, the best for Erza.

Later, he joins CS, bc he realized he would do more figting against darknest than rotting away in a prison, and he does, with Meredy and Ultear, the fight the evil and protect the innocents.

After that, O6 breaks from prison, he goes to talk with them, they asked is he is going to capture them again, but he says no, that's ridiculous, he only wants to talk, but they attack him firts, and he defends himself and realized that they only will listen if he wins that battle, so he wins it, and tells him the true, if they keep themselves in the dark path, like they wanted too, they will never have the freedom they want, just a reminder, this people O6 they have killed people for real, just remember that Sorano killed Karen just bc she feel like it.

O6 realized that it is true, they dont want to keep themselves in the darkness, and they decided to follow him. THEY DECIDED!!! They are not children that Jellal forced too, they are adults that were presented with a choice and they choosed. Also, you can see in the anime how they left Jellal and Meredy for a while, and they come back to them and protected both of them from Rustyrose, finally THEY DECIDED to join Crime Sòrcière looking for atoning and redemption and the true freedom, something they achieved at the end of the manga, they got a Royal pardon, they become free people, later we learned that Erik and Kinana are dating, and Sorano joined Sabertooth with her sister, bc they were always free to do what they wanted, they were not forced by Jellal. Actually you can see in Rhodonite spin-off that Jellal says to Meredy that he is not chains to bid them, they are free to come and go as they please.

Adding at this, Ultear has said multiple times that she was the one controlling Jellal actions, she brainwashed and mind controlledd him, she was the one that killed Simon, she was the one that killed Meredy's family and village, she was the one that fuck up Jellal's life, even so Jellal forgives her, and doesn't use this facts to absolve himself. He stills feels guilty even if he was innocent in all these, he still wants to protect people from slavery, from tortured, from darkness.

And if we have to add a little of FT100YQ, we see how, even if he has received all the forgiveness from everyone, he still wants to follow his path of protecting people from darkness, bc this is the real Jellal, the little slaved, malnurished, abused, tortured child that always had a smile, a hand, an word to offer to other people that need some light and help in their lifes.

He is an amazing character, sadly, some people are too closed minded, short-sighted and ill-intended to understand his deepness, his richness and his beautiful heart, but I know, there is a lot of people that loves him, and understand him, and care for him... to all of you...

I'm obsessed with this panel

Imo, Lucy looks more beautiful here than ever. Here she's exhausted from using magic continuously and she has gotten blood, several bruises and cuts on her face and body but she doesn't care. All that matters is her guildmate who just took a deadly hit for her, despite him being hypnosis. Lucy doesn't wanna let him down.

Here, she posseses the power to turn the tables on her enemy. She realises that strength alone can never determine the result of a battle, not if they're a member of Fairy Tail. Their victory is driven by their bonds with each other.

Unlike most of the times, when she fights to win, here she's mainly fighting to protect Laxus and his honour. She doesn't need help or saving. She's the strongest when she's fighting for her family, just how in Tartarus she had managed to save the world all by herself.

Some differences I noticed between this fight and that against Mimi :

Mimi had also underestimated Lucy, thinking she lacked strength as a summoner. However, after witnessing Lucy's change in confidence and the resolve to win, her opinion had quickly changed.

Mimi had even apologised for her rude and judgemental behavior. Going as far as to bow down to show respect to Lucy. In recognition of Lucy's strength, she had given her all against Lucy.

And after winning the fight, Lucy had also acknowledged Mimi as an worthy opponent.

Whilst in her fight against Kyria :

It's not the first time someone mocked the Fairy Tail mages for talking about bonds. But this mostly happens with Natsu, this time it was Lucy.

Kyria called her bonds with her friends crap, and it was the second time Lucy held grudge against her enemy, the first time being her fight against Jackal in Tartarus arc.

After she won with the said power, she was smiling and taking pride in her victory, which is rare. It's not in her nature, unlike Natsu, who is passionate about win and loss. Defeating them is like medals for him, in this case however, Lucy fulfilled that role, she was able to protect someone superior to her. She was able to show Kyria just what the power of bonds are capable of.

Defeating Kyria was the same as earning a medal, for her guild. That she would never lose to someone who degraded the relationships she holds so close to her heart.

So I read all the translated chapters of Hikaru ga shinda natsu and...oh...I haven't felt this way in what seems like eternity. It's so bittersweet and sorrowful with a faint shadow of hope. And just...a depressed kid not being able to let go on the image of someone he loved, even though he knows there's a completely different being underneath that exterior, because that exterior was also a part of his dearest person, and it's still present, and he no longer can tell if it's Hikaru that he loves, or "Hikaru"...or both, but he can't help but want to be by his side and can't stop giving him glances, when he thinks the other won't notice, glances way too long to be explained as something platonic. And then there's a demonic creature possesing other kid's body who just enjoys having a physical form and being alive and more than anything wants acception and someone to stay by his side no matter what. And the kid who this body once belonged to was most likely also in love, so the creature adopts some of his memories and feelings, so there's no telling if those feelings are his own or that kid's, and everything is mixed up, painful and queer.

Not to mention that the whole monster and body transformation thing keeps stirring something in me... I really am a monsterfucker after all...

Okay, just decided it. The goal for this summer is the IC AU fic (I've written 17k words for it already, at the start of ch6 - it's a lot for me, okay?) and to finish 4 WiPs. More, if I get into the zone.

Ahh, but TbC... I want to start the 2nd arc and I've decided that I will be mixing canon with the stuff I invented/the lore and shit and the other guild stuff. But this, ofc requires a lot of planning and I don't think I'm in the right place to start what I expect to be such a huge endeavour. No-one will care if I continue the story either so... *shrug* But all the stuff with the dragons (and the reason as to why the dragons disappeared is different from canon, tyvm) and all those side things, the slowly developing relationship, the new powers! I want to do it right, you know? There's a bunch of images that I still have stuck in my head. Natsu seeing why and how the dragons left (Igneel's speech is too sad), the scene in the lake under the moonlight, Natsu's possesiveness in that scene between Gray and Lucy during a mission, the boys being wrecked because of the bad shit that happens and their stubborn denial towards deepening the bond (despite the harm it makes)...

I really want to write that huge ass story. But dread the third arc. 😂 I still can't write fight scenes to save my life and an arc that is supposed to be battle and battle with more battles until the final bad guy. That bad guy isn't going to be Zeref, I decided. I'll deal with him sometime along the 3rd arc anyway which... uff. But the bad guy is more in the realms of being paired with Acnologia power-wise. And the idea is to have Natsu and Gray kick his ass together, making the long road until then be worth it.

Fortunately the sequel's going to be under 10 chapters. 😂

Aaaa jfjgjf it's always great to hear how much people like Alice! :D as to the LIs... I will assume this is obviously before they're a couple, but that they are friends to some extent.

River would flatly correct the mistake, no harm no foul, and so far as they're concerned the conversation is over... until that night as they lie awake mentally reviewing every conversation they've ever had with the MC, trying to decide if they've led them on in any way and of they should clarify the situation or just ask them out for real, but they're Alice's grandkid and they already live together so wouldn't that be awkward? And oh fuck they just might want to ask them out anyway, why didn't they realize that before?!?!

Henry would grin, put an arm around the MC and proceed to act the part of a possesive and proud partner until or unless the MC told them to knock it off. This act would include a lot of unnecessary touching, of course, though nothing too intimate. And they'd keep telling themselves they're doing this because it's fun and funny, and it makes the MC squirm in a way that's just too adorable to ignore, or conversely because the MC plays into it so well that it might as well be true.

Val would clarify that they aren't together, then proceed to flirt shamelessly (in an exaggerated, dramatic fashion) with the MC saying things like "our stars align so well even the blind can see we should be together," and be a generalized cheeseball as long as the MC lets them. Of course, if the MC were to play along they might get a real date out of it.

Natsuki would protest awkwardly and emphatically that they are not together, and how dare this person be so presumptuous as to assume. Furthermore, how dare you ask anybody such invasive questions? It's not your business if they're dating, though they're obviously not, but even if they were Natsu wouldn't answer because they have principles!

Yeah, sure, I am happy to help and clarify a few things. And THANK YOU for mentioning Natsu no Ringo (夏の林檎), it is hands down one of my all-time favourite Kalafina songs. The minute I saw your ask I immediately felt the urge to watch all their performances of the song (so that’s what I did XD).

As for your question, actually almost all of your choices are correct translations except for option “D”. That one is WRONG! Before going into details I wanna point out that there is hardly any pluralisation in the Japanese language. Based on context, all nouns can be singular or plural. I am saying this because you keep mentioning “apples” but truth is, in the context of the song it could just as well be a single apple (personally I prefer that translation).

Now let’s get to the juicy part.

The Japanese particle “no/の" serves as a possessive or a modifier.

As a possessive, “no” comes between two nouns and you can essentially translate it like the possesive [‘s] in English. Always in the following order:

noun A (=the “possessor”) NO noun B (=the “possessée”) natsu NO ringo | 夏の林檎  = summer’s apple (or: apples) sara NO burogu | サラのブログ = Sarah’s blog

※ So in this case “apple’s summer” would be an incorrect translation. However, if the song were titled “ringo no natsu” “ringo” would be the possessor and thus “apple’s summer” would be correct (the meaning being debatable of course).

"no” can also turn any noun into a modifier (= a word, phrase or clause that modifies - provides further information about - another word just like an adjective/adverb). “ringo | apple” is the main noun here but it’s not just a simple apple, it’s a specific apple. The Final Review of Fairy Tail - NaCl Robot brings out the Reciepts

Yeah sorry for the delay...life happened

This was it. This was the final chapter of Fairy Tail..ever. I honestly cannot help but feel absolutely nothing.

The chapter began quite nicely - Lucy FINALLY finished writing her book and actually earned an award for it. APPLAUSE LUCY!

AND of course we cut to the scene that basically SUMS UP EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH FAIRY TAIL AS A WHOLE. In the rowdy guild, do you see any differences to let’s say...the first introduction of the guild? Ships...yeah I guess. New characters previously not present in chapter two; yup. Makarov in a chair; yup. Anything else? No? The problem is that there is hardly any difference except for some minor changes between chapter 545 and chapter 2. It is the same rowdy guild as we remember. And from my point of view, considering the events that supposedly occured since these two chapters, the growth and maturity which the guild as a whole should of experienced is not present. Natsu, our main lead could easily be switched with natsu from chapter two and we will struggle to find a difference. An ending is meant to tie plot threads and show the difference in the growth of our Main Cast in comparison to chapter one. And Fairy Tail failed in that standpoint. There are no lasting negative consequences for Fairy Tail/Good guys - so what was the point of these 500+ chapters?

(Oh yeah, I totally did not miss Chelia’s now-regained ability to do magic when Ultear CLEARLY stated that she would never would be able to do magic again.) 

The read from there for me was alright till - the sexism monster literally started tap dancing on my screen. Why did Mashima turn an all-girl guild of baddasses into nothing more then exploitive pin-ups for some men to drool over? Why? What sort of end and conclusion does it give them? What changes did they underwent during the course of the story that is showcased in this one panel? You had ONE JOB Mashima. And yeah I am including Gray’s out of character comment in this too. What you mean it is different for guys. I have two scars that I received outside of my control - what exactly makes my body incapable of proudly displaying scars? 

And now Gray is possesive - I don’t know about you all but a quick google search reveals that isnt exactly healthy...this is mostly for you Juvia. 

The chapter continues on dumping ship possibility - totally the friendship message that Fairy Tail preached. 

And we don’t get a closure for the Spriggans. What happened to them? Are they dead? Are they on vacation at Ember Island? What about the aftermath of the war on Alvarez’s economy and politics? No civil war? No...reprocussions for Zeref’s all out war which used the WHOLE military? Yeah....open up any history textbook and you will see that such drastic losses don’t go unnoticed. 

Moving on, has Erza ever brushed her hair? Is Lucy implying Erza never took care of her hair. Forget Acnologia, Fairyheart, and Zeref - the true superpower of the universe in Fairy Tail is Erza’s hair. What a twist! 

And...apparently you can grow up from a baby into an adult in one year if you happen to be the reincarnation of Zer/vis. Honestly though, if we saw their interactions as one year olds, it would have been 100x cuter + I might have cried and forgotten my other criticisms. Missed opportunity there Mashima. Like honestly, who doesnt want to see baby M and baby Z interacting? (And why is Mavis so puny - there is no curse to make her have a body of a 13 year old...Mashima you are creeping into the super dark grey area again) 

AND Natsu again breaks the rules of privacy and being-a-decent-person and just hanging out in Lucy’s apartment uninvited again...Sighhhhhhh

And Natsu is still an asshole - dismissing Lucy’s actual heartfelt speech about being with him...even after he abandoned her. At this point I swear assholism is a dominate gene in the Dragneel Family - Zeref had it and Natsu still proudly carries the torch. I hope you don’t reproduce. 

One thing I can appreciate though is the open-ended ending. Far better then any weddings. 

Also apparently Fairies don’t have tails...man I wish this was an actual plot point. 

Well, I guess this concludes Fairy Tail, honestly reviewing this manga has been fun and I think I will pick up reviewing as part of this blog in the future.

In her seventh life she was reborn similar to her fourth life as Erza Scarlet since it's in the same world but different time line where the original Erza Scarlet survived. She was reborn as Wendy Marvell the Sky Dragon Slayer unknown to her that her husband Jason Grace has somehow fallowed her in this life with his memories of their last life intact. So they will meet again one day and when they do he will never let her go.

After all like her he is reborn as dragon slayer as well. So it's to be expected that he would grew possesive like any dragon slayer.

I was 12 years old when I join the guild known as Fairytail as new member of team Natsu along side my exceed Carla. We are fairly powerful since I train myself like I did as Amaris Potter, Rin in my secound life and Hyuga Hinata who specialist in fighting so I'm lot faster than ordinary dragon slayer and fairly powerful too.

A couple months after I join fairy tail we end up in Edolas were I saw Jellal again the one who I was traveling with in fiore when I was just a 5 years old child before we parted ways he has been going under another name as Mystogan of Fairy tail since his counter part of Earthland was considered criminal since in this time line I wasn't Erza so she has never manged to stop who ever control Jellal.

After we help Jellal of Edolas take back his kingdom from his tyrant father before they end up going to edolas where they all discover Lisana Strauss which everyone at Fairytail believed died during S-class job gone wrong end up alive living edolas until that moment which her two older sibling Mirajane and Elfman are both overjoy to find out she's alive.

It wasn't ling after that the S-class trial would begin the master of fairytail has chosen her as one of the one who would participate but she chosen to turn it down since she dosen't feel she's quite ready to take it which the master understand and chosen someone else to take her place.

But during the S-class trail in tenro island they were attack by the black dragon and they were all declared dead which devested all the members of fairy tail that were left behind none more so than Wendy who lost all her team.

           The fairy tail guild took a year to train themself to be stronger to keep their guild going and Wendy made sure that marco dosen't get them into debt from the new guild near their town. It wasn't long before she end up see the reborn self her husband Jason Grace who is the white Dragon Slayer Sting Eucliffe which shock her since non of her previous husband in her last life has ever fallow her in the world she reborn in, she was shock at first but she is overjoy to see and reunite with him again after so long. She never thougt that she ever see him again but here he is infront of her, his appearance might have change but his soul is still very much Jason Grace she can see it that much.

She wounder how Jason is their with her but it might have something to do with Hera blessing when they got married along with their feelings for each other. So long as he is in her life she would never marry another man again. Which he made vow as well to fallow her in this life and their next.

Sting Eucliffe help Wendy get over the lost of her guild and her friends which he didn't do much since death was common for them in their last life along with few of her previous life especially when she was Rin the adopted pup of the great demon of the west Sesshomaru.

He fallow Wendy to her guild which is Fairytail where he help wendy train the other wizards of Fairytail get stronger to earn money. Which Marco the fourth guildmaster of Fairy recognized both their strength that he made both an S-class wizard of fairy tail. Which everyone agree with that the two of them are currently the strongest one in the guild at that momment.

Both Wendy Marvell and Sting Eucliffe kept their guild at the top with them help their guild mate train every so often that they gotten stronger in just 3 years by then they are both 16 years old and has been dating for 2 years in that life time.

They are mostly the one keept fairytail on top along with Jet and Droy who work so hard after Levy was declared dead along with rest of the fairytail core but their was short year of depression on Droy that he gain some weight but over the years he lost those weight he gain during his dresspion period.

Romoe Conbolt is now 9 years old he became a fairly powerful fire wizard and he also train. While the people of fairytail that was left behind still miss their dead members but life must move forward because time wouldn't wait for them.

A year later...

When both Wendy and Sting turn 17 years olds they got married it's been 6 years since the fairytail core were all declared dead, many people miss all of them. Especially Romoe who idolized Natsu every since he was young that he wanted to be just like him when he grew up.

Alzack Connell and Bisca Mira are already married when have a five years old daughter name Asuka Connell.

It wasn't long after sting and wendy got married that she end up pregnant with their fist child in that life, sting is over joy on having a child it didn't matter if he has a son or a daughter all it matters is that they are born healty.

9 months later...

Wendy Eculiffe gaved birth to a daughter that look identical to her mother Wendy that you couldn't even tell that sting was her father. The two new parents are over joy at the birth of their daughter. And with Wendy not going in Job for a while to take care of her daughter. They gaved her the name Ayame Euliffe.

Sting, Jet, and Droy along with Max kept the guild on top especially now that they were join by another dragon slayer by the name of Rogue Cheney the shadow dragon slayer. Who join in the traing of the S-class wizards of fairy tail. Since all the dragon slayers of fairy tail has accest to their dragon force which made them alot more powerful but not more so than both Sting and Wendy who retain their old powers as a demigod.

Over the years both Wendy and Sting train their daughter to be strong and she inherited her parents dragon slayer magic so they taughter her everything they know. Like they once did in their past life when they taught their daughter Calista Grace in that life.

It's been 12 years since Ayame was born and she really identical to her mother in appearance and attitude. Asuka Connell is now 18 years old when the old fairytail core end up turning up alive which shock all the fairytail members that were left behind and they all haven't age a day. While Wendy and her husband and most of the guild are already 30 years old while Romeo is now 24 years old who now dress like Natsu not like he didn't before mind you.

All the fairytail core hasn't age a day pass since they all last saw them so they were all shock to see an adult Wendy

Who is now married and one of Fairytail's S-class wizard and ond of the strongest in the guild, they even meet her daughter Ayame who look so much like like Wendy when they last saw her. But she is alot stronger than her mother was at her age well they should expected it after all both her parents are dragon slayers.

What if... after she died at the final battle she was reborn many times.

Her first life as Sakura lilian Potter, her parents James and Lily Potter died protecting from the Dark Lord during the all Hallow Eve. Which made her an orphane and in the Great Albus Dumbledore mind it was a great idea to leave me at the door step of my magic gating Aunt Petunia Dursley and her husband Vernon Dursley along with their 1 years old son Dudley Dursley. Where she spent the first 7 years old of her life being treated like some House elf.

But after Sakura turn 7 years old she was found by Aoko Aozaki and taken her as her own apprentice for 7 years before she 14 years old when she enter Clock tower and I enter the department of creation, Modern Mage theory, and General Fundamentals. And having Ex circuit Quality and having a duel Element of Creation and Fantasy. Becoming one of the Master of the 5th Holy Grail War having manged to summoned the King of Heroes Gilgamesh as Caster Servant. She also made an aliance with Shiro Emiya during the War and decided to learn his brand of cooking until she master it after the Holy Grail war ended. 

Gilgamesh and Sakura got along real well with one another that created with the rich resources of Sakura a good number of magical treasures that the Association of Mages would surely envy. After the Holy Grail War, Sakura Potter enrolled herself in Tōtsuki Tea Ceremony and Cooking Academy, where she perfected brand of cooking, becaming one of the best School cook and pastery in that School.

To die or not to die, a case for Blueberry the Sinner.

In which Mags makes some clarifications regarding Jellal.

As you know, I made quite the jarring statement (for my lovely jellal fans pals) about how Jellal was better off dead than alive considering his characterization and use in Mashima’s current plot.

Since it was pointed out, I need to make the clarification about such statement.

When I talked about this, I was referring to the events of the ToH arc in which Jellal recovered his true self.

At that point I wasn’t as attached to Jellal as I am now, because he was a character I have knew mostly as a villain but also an unfortunated one who ended up being twisted and who died as a hero, reedeming himself in his last moments while paving the way for Hades future appearance in Tenroushima.

That as far as storytelling goes, was tragic but satisfying: Jellal played his part and get off the stage, their friends got freedom and Erza closure. It was a good end.

However, Mashima got other plans. 

Because same as Lissanna, Jellal’s part at that moment effectively worked as a medium for character development, he gave Erza struggles and grow through a personal tragedy. She learned valuable lessons: you have to live on despite the pain, you are not alone, there are friends at your side, cherish your life, etc. 

I accepted all of that at that point, because I knew Jellal as the villain I loved to hate, even if that soon changed when it was revealed how he became corrupted. and how much Erza loved him (still cheered when Natsu beat his ass for playing with Erza’s feelings). I was hoping for someone to free him before everything went to hell, but that happened seconds before the tower exploded. And later on through Lucy we learned, that yes, Jellal got free of his “possesion”. 

I admit I was saddened but I accepted it, Erza hearing his voice in the beach was a nice touch, it gave hope and a bittersweet end for the both of them. 

And then..

The Oracion Seis arc happened, he appeared again, I got attached and I was a goner xD. 

From that point onwards I haven’t wished anything but good things for him. He is my favorite, and it was soul crushing when they took him away from Erza and tragedy struck again. As many other fans I hoped that some day he would be able to reunite with her and have a peaceful and happy life as a family (jerza got my soul at that moment, ow!). 

On top of that we got the potential of a compeling narrative, the promise for a journey of redemption through Erza’s words about paying for our sins in life (a la RuroKen).

I know he is criticized for his amnesiac persona, but I enjoyed it, because despite the confusion he pulled throught as best as he could, his righteous soul and kidness shone  and I was proud of him.

But after that, aside of some few good moments in the GMG arc, Mashima was unable to make him live to his potential. Which makes me think about how you can create a good character but fall short when telling his story. It happends, Jellal is a sad example and welp, that’s it.

FT Speculation Time: The Questions that Remain, after Chapter 536 (and, for the final chapters ahead)...

After the...“debacle” (if you will), that was the latest chapter of Fairy Tail, I’m sure there were still some questions left over from it. Probably the ones that you were wondering, too. These are the questions that I think, would matter the most, and would have to be answered in the rest of the final chapters ahead. Keep in mind, ‘though, that the following below are only my opinions, and it is all speculation. 

With all that being mentioned, here are the questions that, I think, will have to be addressed in the story’s conclusion:

(Be aware; there are spoilers for the most recent FT chapters, below!)

“What will become of Ichiya, Anna, Acnologia, and Zeref?”

Despite the ‘disappointment’ surrounding what had happened, in this latest chapter, there were a few unexpected surprises that occurred in 536. Those who have read the chapter, will recall that the Christine (with Ichiya and Anna involved) had managed to intervene against Acnologia. As a result, all three characters end up in the Timelapse, rather than Jellal (thank goodness!), Erza (again...phew!), and Jenny. 

Now, just because those characters disappeared into the Timelapse, doesn’t mean that they don’t appear again afterward. It was mentioned somewhere, that the Timelapse and the portal (located within the Fairy Tail guild building, mind you) are connected. Assuming that they still are, as Zeref is the one holding the power (through Fairy Heart, which will be another question listed further down) to set the Timelapse in place, I believe those characters will end up at the portal. It’s only a matter if they do end up there...and, if so, it will be a matter of whether one of the characters—or all of the characters arrive there. And that sets up a pretty interesting scenario, in my mind (I mean, imagine if Anna and Lucy were to meet each other!).

As for Zeref...well, some people certainly didn’t expect to see that one coming! I mentioned, in my recent post—about which character has the highest potential to be killed-off, that Zeref had a considerably-high potential to be killed-off. What I got right about him, from that post, was that Natsu would be one of those, who would defeat him in battle. I just didn’t expect him to be simply defeated, given his abilities and powers that are already considered to be beyond the threshold. But, what happens to him, after he gets defeated by Natsu?

I suspect—and, already, some readers do—that Zeref will have to make amends with Mavis, somehow (if the panels involving those two, in 536, show anything). Maybe he’ll concede that his plans didn’t work, and would have to collaborate with Mavis, to remove the curse that both are plagued with. That would fall in line with what I had to mention about them, in that aforementioned post, where both would sacrifice their lives...and thus, giving them closure. 

It’s either that...or, he’ll be the one to actually help Natsu, in the (potential) fight against Acnologia. It all depends on how the author will address this question, in the next chapter, or so.

“Will there be a showdown between Natsu, Zeref, and Acnologia? Or, will there ever be a battle between the Seven Dragon Slayers, and Acnologia?” 

Now, I’m sure that most of you are disappointed about the potential of not seeing a battle between the seven Dragon Slayers, and Acnologia. And, I do get that. After all, the original intent for bringing the seven Dragon Slayers into the future, was so that they can fight against the villainous Dragon Slayer himself. However, I do think that the potential is still there—somehow, despite how many chapters there are left, in the story. 

As stated above (and this also depends on what Mashima does, next), it’s probable that Acnologia will end up at the portal, in the guild building. This sets up that desirable situation, where the 7DS (including Natsu) take on Acnologia. Furthermore, it also sets up a likely scenario, where Zeref may be able to help Natsu and others, in their fight against him. Again, it depends on whether he continues to live, or not. 

Conversely, there’s also the potential that, somehow, there will be a showdown between Natsu, Zeref, and Acnologia. It is likely that would also happen—although, not as likely as, say, the 7DS taking on Acnologia. I could think of a way that would happen, and that would involve Zeref coming back from defeat, but only to remain the same, as he ever was. However, I feel that it’s unlikely, given what has already happened in 536. 

“What will happen to Lucy, and the Book of E.N.D. itself?”

As far as just about anybody knows, so far, Lucy is the one in control with the Book of E.N.D., and remains directly connected to Natsu’s life. However, as I mentioned in my other post, Lucy isn’t necessarily free from the book’s effects against her. It was explained, from one of the more recent chapters, about how the possessor of the book will likely be driven into madness. That being brought up, Lucy has yet to succumb to those kinds of consequences wrought upon, by the book’s powers. 

Even so, I have seen some theories that were taken up by the avid readers/fans of this series, regarding about what may happen to Lucy. One theory that stuck out more, was the one that describes a potential situation, where Lucy may lose her arm...more specifically, her right arm. Having seen what has happened in the latest chapter, I could see a possibility of something like this (albeit, uncomfortably). Although, it will have to take a lot to go wrong for Lucy, for her to be in that situation. 

There’s also the question of how the Book of E.N.D. itself, be dealt with. Seeing as how Lucy is still in possession of it, I can see a situation where the book must be protected from either Zeref, or Acnologia. After all, Natsu’s life is still tied to the book, and valiant efforts must be made to protect the book at all costs. How his life can continue, without having it be tied to the book, is a whole ‘nother matter, entirely. Maybe, something like Fairy Heart, or the One Magic will play a part in that (both those two are also another question in the list, shortly). 

“How will Lucy obtain Aquarius’ key again?”

This is another question that ties-in with two of the previous questions above, in a way. Lucy has yet to regain the key that’s used to summon Aquarius, following what had happened in the Tartaros arc. 

I can see a situation, in one of the final chapters, where she finally regains the key, through an encounter with Anna. As I mentioned from above, there is still the potential for such an encounter between those two. 

Another possibility I can think of, for her to regain the key, is if there was a passing mention—or a short scene that features this, in one of the closing chapters. It’s not as desirable for the readers, for it to be written in this way...and I would feel the same, as well. 

At the very least, there would be a scenario involving Natsu and Lucy going out on an adventure to find that key, at the very conclusion of the story. 

“What will become of Lumen Histoire/Fairy Heart? Also, what will become of The One Magic?”

This is another question that I think is important, and should be addressed in the final chapters. 

Consider what happened in 536, when Natsu defeated Zeref. When the battle between those two had happened, Zeref was still in possession of Fairy Heart. However, after he was defeated by Natsu, Zeref starts to lose the powers he posseses with Fairy Heart. This is also an issue, as the Timelapse was set in place, when Zeref used such powers. 

I see some potential with Fairy Heart having more uses—probably to open up the Timelapse again, or open the portal located within the guild building. Maybe, even ultimately, it would be used against Acnologia himself. Regardless, all of these potential scenarios hinge on what the author does, with the whole situation surrounding Zeref, and Fairy Heart. 

As for “The One Magic”, it’s still not exactly known what it is. There are multiple interpretations of it, throughout the story. For all that is known about it, it’s described as the sole source for all kinds of magic that exist. However, it’s also mentioned that The One Magic exists, in more than just a concept.

The way it’s seen, I believe The One Magic will still play a significant role, in resolving the increasingly-volatile situations that Natsu and company are facing. I doubt that Mashima has forgotten about this...and so, I think this will definitely come into play, as the story winds down. 

BONUS: “Will the four major ships become canon for real?”

I’m pretty damn sure that I’m not the only one, who is asking this question. 

Honestly, I see that Gajeel and Levy are already a given, considering what has happened to them, for the past 40 chapters (or so). So, it’s not that surprising, if it turns out that they are confirmed to be together, at the end of the story. 

I see the same thing with Gray and Juvia—and I even see a scenario, where Gray would give her his answer, all the way back from earlier in the Alvarez arc. 

For Jellal and Erza...well, it’s not going to be the same as the other two pairings above, because of the recent complications in their relationship. I still have a hunch that they will remain together, at the end...but that’s contingent on what Mashima does for them.

Now, with Natsu and Lucy, it all depends on how it goes, from 536. Even though Natsu/Lucy is one of my favourite pairings in this series, I reserve a considerable bit of skepticism, as to the possibility of them becoming a canon couple. However, with some of their moments together that closely resemble those, involving a certain pairing from Rave Master...maybe calling Natsu and Lucy, the “new Haru and Elie”, would not be that far-fetched. 

There’s also a moment in the manga, from way earlier on in the Alvarez arc, where Natsu mentions to Happy that he had “wanted to do something with Lucy”, when the war is over. Maybe that would be addressed, in the final chapters of the story. After all, it could be something like what I mentioned from above, about the potential of Natsu and Lucy looking for Aquarius’ key. Hopefully, there’s a storybook ending (Hah! Geddit?) for those two.

Well, that’s all there is. Hopefully, each one of these questions get completely addressed, as the remaining chapters wind down to the story’s conclusion. Despite the backlash from the most recent chapter, I’m holding out a little bit of hope that the rest of the chapters would be better than the one that just came out.
