We have a new exam project for art class and one of the themes to choose from was forgiveness. I've been carving out an idea and chipping away at it until I was happy with it, and boy oh boy am I excited to paint it. This is a skin tone study before I start putting brush to paper this Friday. This isn't the composition or anything, but I have a hard time with skin tones so I needed some practice beforehand. Especially because I wanted to integrate more cool colours instead of my regular warm tones. I wanted to make sure that I at least had a grasp of the colour palette. But this week I'll be painting a sketch and perfecting it before moving on to the Real Deal™️ in two weeks (?).
