Some more of me drawing poptropica villains, this time with the villains from Super Power Island! I wanted to give them all their own look as if they got a chance to change out of the prison uniforms, but still kept the stripes in some parts of the designs to unify them.

I’m very much upset how new ownership straight up lied about how they’re committed to reformatting their old islands to work on the new platform. Not only have they since gone back islands already made on the new engine and either removed segments to add again later as pay to plays or just straight cut them, but the few islands they HAVE reformatted they’ve also severely dumbed down. Mythology Island has been so streamlined it doesn’t even feel like a full level.

There used to be a sense of respect for the kids playing it (naturally, considering it used to be run by Jeff fucking Kinney), but the new devs seem to think every child playing the game is fucking braindead. Yes! Some of the challenges were hard in second grade! I know that because when one of the kids in class beat Superhero Island for the first time he was lauded as a hero because no one else could figure out the copy cat segment!

Kids aren’t averse to challenge-they thrive in it! It drives them to care and try and remember your game as a classic! It gains community! Especially when the challenge exists because the adult who put it there respects you enough to believe that you can solve it!

Anyway all that to say Flashpoint has every original island saved (including the special bonus after island games that were members only) in their original glory. You should give ‘em a try-young or old they’re really fun I beat all of them in one of my college lectures two years ago took me about a semester of semi consistent play.

Aight since this is getting a bit more attention than I expected here's what I got so far about it: (sorry If this is late I got busy with college oop and also glad you're enjoying my stuff!!)

Digging back to my A-pop-calypse AU, it's almost like the same concept, only this time it's a lot more Darker, Gorey and maybe more mature.

As far as how the infection started is still a mystery, but it is definitely on one of the islands, and as seen with my last doodle some of the infected can be airborne or underwater because keeping infected on one island is just too easy right? Plus this is Poptropica we're talking about, anything can happen. :)

And of course, what's an Infection AU without its stages? (TW for horror and disturbing imagery)

While the infection can vary from Poptropican to Poptropican this is like the basic mutation I've come up with. So with more complex and unique Poptropicans like maybe Copy Cat or Captain Crawfish (oops :) ) they'll have more unique characteristics on them.

And finally the survivors, honestly it's up to you if you want your main Poptropican to live or get infected (personally I think they make it but I choose not to include them here for a more open au, at least for now) but as for the rest of the cast here's two that I sketched out so far:

My favorite ones:

-Copy Cat is Black Widow’s younger sister and followed her path of crime, but was not as successful (hence her being incarcerated). Now that she has powers, she loves to rub it into her sister’s face.

-Dr. Hare knows traditional hypnosis on top of his rabbit ear mind control, but he only uses it to mess with Bard and knock him out for fun

-Director D “commissioned” some art from Black Widow for the spy hq, knowing fully well they were stolen paintings rather than replications

Out of the female villains, I'm gonna say Daphne Dreadnaught.

Out of the male villains, I'm gonna say... it's a tie between Cactus von Garlic and Ringmaster Raven. Those two are complete opposites :p
