tma tumblr will appreciate this ✨✨ it was about time I started listening to it, have been loving it am!!!! However I wouldn't consider myself a podcast person, so why did I start listening?

(very subtle spoilers for The Magnus Archives?? Go listen if you can/want!!!)

I was making my first attempt at an embroidered patch. I selected some colored thread and chose the patch I wanted to make first, very carefully, from a few sketches I drew on some fabric the day before. After a bit of trying to watch a video and sew at the same time, I realized I couldn't concentrate on sewing as well, and thought to try listening to a podcast. I remembered tma; I'd seen floating around for so long now!! I popped it on and listened to the first 7ish episodes while I finished the patch. I left the needle in, just in case I wanted to add some extra details and left it like that for a WHILE.

This past Monday I was trying to remember how I got started with tma and remembered I was making the patch shown below.

You'll never guess what the design in the patch was.

I didn't even KNOW the significance of it when I was sewing but I just so happened to very strongly feel like starting my embroidered patch collection...

... by MAKING AN EYE.

(the way I left the patch is even crazier considering I haven't touched the patch at all since finishing #7, and that the realization hit me after I finished listening to #154 yesterday iykyk)
