Johnlock AU~short fanfic - in the locked room in The Final Problem just before Sherlock suggests to shoot himself
J: Sherlock...
He can't say more. He doesn't know what to say. It's too much for him.
S: In our situation, I think it's time to say the unsaid.
Silence. They're both starring at each other until John avoids Sherlock's look.
S: About you, I need to tell you...
John suddenly holds his breath.
J: Oh, you guessed it.
He doesn't understand.
S: I guessed what?
John is breathing again, sort of lost.
J: You didn't?
S: What are you talking about?
J: Nothing. What did you wanna say?
Sherlock has no idea of what's going on. He missed something for sure.
S: Tell me first. I'm not saying everything til you tell me.
No air again. He had to answer. He had to tell him. It could be the end, this room. It could be the end of everything. Of their friendship and their life. In other circumstances, it could have only been the end of the first thing.
J: Jesus, Sherlock...
Hands on his head, he would have rather died now. He avoided this confession during all these years, because for him it was useless. Useless or not, he could risk anything he wanted now. He has nothing to loose, except his life - but it would be because of what he was going to say. The detective was deeply starring at him, until John flinched.
J:*sigh* I... I love you.
Sherlock stayed frozen for a dozen of seconds. He too, probably, had stopped breathing.
S: You... love me?
J: That's what i just said.
It didn't make sense.
S: But you are...
John wanted to look at the floor, or the wall, or at Mycroft who was still standing like a statue in tve corner of the room. But he could only stare at Sherlock's face, in shock as he never saw him before.
J: Yes - he said because he hated this silence.
Sherlock had no words. He felt stupid, and crazy, and dead at the same time. His sentence needed an end. And then, the dumbest words came out of his mouth before he could think about it.
S: Not gay.
What. Was. That.
Dammit.
John almost laughed. His fault, maybe he pronounced these words too often. Maybe yes. Why the hell.
J: Right, i'm not. I've loved Mary, and I've been seeing other girls before.
S: And despite that you do... love...
Trying to avoid any second of silence, they ended the sentence at the time on the same note.
J: You.
S: Me.
John was feeling really, really weak and vulnerable. He hated that. It happened too much recently.
J: Can you stop repeating it please it makes me uncomfortable...
S: Uhm yes. Sure.
He didnt want to, but he disliked seeing John is distress like that. So he
S: I was... what I wanted to say first... let's go back.
J: Yeah.
Going back, it was the best thing to do.
S: So, I must say...
J: Yes.
S: Nothing similar than what you juste said about...
Sherlock was looking down, John closed his eyes. Please let's forget that.
J: Please.
S: Fine.
But Sherlock didn't plan to forget that.
S: I love you.
Another big silence, not the same than the first one. This time, there was nothing awkward, just a silence. A sweet, incomprehensible but logical silence.
J: You...
He couldn't fill this void with a bunch of "yeah" now. He just... kind of couldn't. Because he didnt even know what he was going to answer to.
J: I asked you to stop repeating why do you...
He didnt have the time to finish his sentence.
S: I know, I said it was okay. I'm not repeating anything.
John didn't make a sound for a moment.
J: So why...
He then, he thought about this quote. His quote. The once which said that, once you have eliminated the impossible whatever remains however improbable must be...
Must be...
The truth
And the very improbable truth left could only be...
J: wait.
When he stopped looking in the void, when everything finally stopped being all blurred and blinding, he saw his face. Sherlock's face. And on it, a new and absolutely delightful smile. Did he just think... delightful smile?
S: I'm just saying what I had to say.
J: Sherlock.
Suddenly his name sounded different. Pronouncing it, he felt a thrill. This thrill. As if nothing will never be as before.
S: John?
God it felt even stronger when he was pronouncing his own one. How could he look... serious after that.
J: I'm not kidding.
S: Neither am I. I'm the most serious I can be.
And he was. Except this growing proud smile on his face. Not one lile when he was solving a murder facing the murderer himself. One as if everything that was happening was out of his control. Like when he was high, but in a healthy. A little cliché, but he looked exactly like that.
J: Do you mean what you just told me? Do you really mean it? Don't you dare lie to me.
Sherlock quickly faked being offended, but he felt too released to play this role longer that two poor seconds. With his usual deep voice, he took despite that the time to answer as if the time wasn't running out for them in here.
S: I deeply mean it.
John couldn't ask for more. He already tried but it was a lost of time, and they already hadn't much.
J: You love me.
Sherlock smiled again, in wiser and purer way.
S: I do.
It was clear, and strangly easier to accept than expected now. In some way, he could believe that, if Sherlock Holmes could love someone once, it would be him. And Sherlock knew for sure that, if it had to be someone, anyone, it had to be John Watson.
J: I didn't... I didn't imagine you could.
Of course, none of them did.
S: Love you or any human in general?
J: Uh both.
Sherlock had a little laugh. He felt like he had something, a weight on his chest for years, perhaps since he was a child.
And in some words, here, now, with his John, it had disappeared. Him who had always disliked talking about "feelings", he felt like he owed him a lot.
S: I may have kinda liked some people in my life, very few, like Mrs Hudson or... or even Lestrade. He is a good guy. But none of them like with you, even from far.
John eye's were reflecting the deep happiness that was born in him.
S: With you, it's different. It has always been.
This fact wasn't a surprise. But knowing it, saying it, it makes it sound like something that meant a lot. And it meant a lot for them.
S: In some ways, I've always loved you since I met you. You make me feel different. I'd do anything for you, John.
All those years of running after serial killers, hunt by criminal, all of this side by side were coming back in their mind. This last confession sounded ridiculous now.
J: You already did.
Was it an impression or was Sherlock blushing?
S: Yeah well that's why I thought you wouldn't be surprised.
They both wanted to make the first step but they felt so clumsy, like new borns.
J: Well you were right since the beginning.
S: About what?
J: I'm an idiot.
Sherlock laughed. In this exact moment, it was just like seven years ago.
More how it should have happened seven years ago.
S: So am I.
And because nothing could stop them, because they had nothing to loose and only each other's love to win, they both walked to each other.
John put his hands on the colar of his shirt, and Sherlock put his on his cheeks. They moved softly with a blinding trust, until then moment when Sherlock he leaned down and their lips met. It was nothing clumsy, nothing embarrassing or weird.
It was natural, normal.
It was like it has always happened, in another life.
It was exactly what should have always happened.

More S3 fix it preview.
(With my dear ones @underestimatemethatwillbefun and @anotherwellkeptsecret both unwell I'm posting more of the fix it fic in hopes of cheering them up! I'm ball parking that this is the right spot, it's just after the the Mycroft to the rescue flashback)
*EDIT* @benaddictedandsherlocked asked for the 1st part which I have now linked, thanks for the improvement 👍
Next Part
Mycroft had been informed of last night’s events and had not been surprised. His mobile had been accessible at all times for his brother to call John and when he had stated that he had not done so Mycroft had felt his gut twist. Docile had been the word since they got him out, Sherlock had been docile and not even used his brother’s phone to call John, so now he stood in Mycroft’s office sporting fresh bruises while they waited for John to storm in. He stormed impressively for a shorter man but the military will do that and after Sherlock quietly confirmed that he had received medical attention Dr John Watson set a large kit bag down before put the ring on the table. When Mycroft shook his head a bristling soldier swept it up again before demanding their updated plan.
John did not look impressed, not at Sherlock’s miraculous return, not with Mycroft's insistence that the plan go ahead as scheduled and Sherlock observed John’s pointedly ignoring the box digging into his leg as they arranged everything. Sherlock offered to be involved with the wedding as John was clearly not interested, he was refusing to acknowledge even the engagement ring. John had briefly held Sherlock in a fierce embrace before leaving to finish proposing to the woman who might kill him in his bed.
Sherlock was furious that Mycroft had involved John but after Mycroft's explanation that he had only done as Sherlock himself had done and given John Watson a new war, he could only slowly nod agreement and collect his folder on “Mary Morstan" on his way out. He could pretend ignorance about who and what she was but the danger she posed, most importantly to John, would be a constant thought. He did not die for John Watson just to loose John now that he was alive again.
___________________
“Charles Augustus Magnessen represents an unacceptable risk to our plan" Mycroft intoned over an eye roll from Sherlock. “His bringing her out of hiding may trigger her to act or she may disappear rather than risk exposure... Congratulations on your nuptials by the way John. My plan is to...” “Is irrelevant as Magnessen no doubt has you over a barrel in some way BrotherDear and I already have a plan. John, we need to reconcile you and Mary. Christmas at our parent’s place should do it, bring the flash drive I fabricated for you and your gun.” Sherlock swept out of the room with a knot in his chest, his own plan was a risk for himself and for John but they had to solve the Mary problem, John’s wife was the last thread of Moriarty's web and he desperately wanted it snapped.
“Dr Watson" John turned back as Mycroft spoke hesitantly. “John, by any means necessary. He will fixate on Mary as a means to control Sherlock.” “How would…?” “You, he will use Mary to control Sherlock through you John" Mycroft’s resigned sigh surprised John more than his words did. “You are my brother’s weak point and I believe his greatest source of strength. Any Means Necessary.” Commander and Captain traded a nod before John hurried out, now how the hell did he get Sherlock to agree?!
…
John stood twitching as a clammy finger impacted his face. His warning to Sherlock had been misinterpreted as an appeal, poor Sherlock was so upset that his plan had fallen apart, John was itching to fix the problem and comfort him. He just needed Mycroft to arrive.
“Sherlock Holmes and John Watson step away from that man!” John tried not to smile with half a dozen cameras pointed at him and calmly did as instructed. Stepping away as ordered his hand beat Sherlock’s to his pocket by a fraction of a second and he efficiently put two bullets through Magnessen’s smug face and into his rotten mind. “JOHN!” Sherlock moved between him and a dozen laser sights. “You idiot, John, what do we do? I was going to shoot him. Oh god! I have to get Mycroft to fix this.” Sherlock looked pale as the squaddies led John away but he followed them to the helicopter.
“It had to be me" John had explained but Sherlock still gave him a cold stare. He had worked himself up to Magnessen’s death, Anything, he had vowed and John had taken that away from him. “You went through so much, I wanted to do this so that you didn’t have to Murder a man!” “I’ve already done that for you John!” He bit out at John through gritted teeth. “Or have you forgotten the months I spent away, did you think I was asking men nicely to simply die?” John had paled and Mycroft interrupted Sherlock’s scathing dressing down.
“It had to be John Sherlock, your resurrection has caused quite a stir and for you to suddenly murder a prominent public figure may have spelled disaster.” Mycroft shifted uncomfortably. He had not lied to John about protecting Sherlock but had withheld the political angle for obvious reasons, he was not in fact omnipotent in government circles and despite previous rescues would not have been able to save his brother. A decorated solder, a doctor who had saved lives on the country’s battle fields was less at risk and, in Mycroft’s most desperate moment, more expendable than his little brother. He saw the realisation bloom in Sherlock’s eyes though he still gave John the same sullen look. Poor Sherlock had always hated it when his plans got derailed. “John will remain as my guest for a few days. Mary will be informed that John's actions protected you and you will return to Mary, confirm her husband's bravery and I will be in contact soon having patched things up for the Watsons. Things seem to be moving things forward quite quickly for the marriage and I for one am curious to see how this will affect them.”

Why BBC Sherlock was ruined by bad writing - Part 1
This post is a part of a long summary of some of the problems with BBC Sherlock which in my opinion ultimately caused the show damage which seems practically irreparable now. One of the related problems actually is that it seems Moffat and Gatiss didn’t get why S4 was met with disdain by fanbase, why reviewers picked it apart, why ratings dropped. It means they don’t want to learn from their mistakes or simply can’t. In fact Gatiss outright refused to believe ratings dropped and that does speak about very huge denial as ratings are facts, not opinions. Both Moffat and Gatiss also suddenly lost enthusiasm about ACD, Sherlock Holmes, although they were gushing about it just not so long ago.
But let’s get back to the problems of the writing I wanted to talk about:
1) The problem with Moriarty
Looking back at first two seasons after clusterfuck of S4, sadly, I could now notice some problems which were already planted in earlier seasons. While S1-2 were the best out of the show some decisions which were made by the writers indicated their true approach to the material even back then. But these problems would only grow like a snow ball and in the end would contribute to the undoing of the show in many ways. Mofftiss were overusing Moriarty from the start. In ACD’s canon he appears in one story (and is mentioned several times) like the nemesis to take down Sherlock once and for all. Since it’s TV series it was perfectly understandable and fair to expand the role of Moriarty, however it was way overexpanded. Moriarty was connected with the cabby, was behind Chinese mafia, then arranged the whole Great Game with Sherlock and then meeting with him in person took place-all in the scope of all 3 episodes of S1. Had the S1 been longer perhaps it wouldn’t have looked so jam-packed with Moriarty and would have been more subtle, but since the S1 is only 3 episodes long it did. S1 also told us that Moriarty killed the school boy, the only case which young Sherlock was not able to solve then, thus setting up Moriarty as this ultimate enemy of Sherlock literally for decades. Then in Ep1S2 we find out that Irene Adler was also working for Moriarty and that he consulted her. Ep2S2 has Sherlock having hallucinations about Moriarty and Ep3S3 have the grand finale where Moriarty tries to destroy Sherlock and kills himself on the roof, and then Sherlock jumps from the roof, faking his suicide.
Honestly by the end of S2 Moriarty was made by the Mofftiss as this be-all and the end-all guy and that already looked over the top. But it still could have been ok, if the Mofftiss could stop there with Moriarty. And that’s exactly what they couldn’t do. They didn’t know how to stop and so they ran this character into the ground. S3 teased us if Moriarty really died or not, with “shocking cliffhanger” final, adding more hallucinations and flashbacks and fake flashbacks with Jim along the way. But the result was that by the end of S3 Moriarty no longer looked liked some threatening dangerous villain, but rather as a self-caricature. S3 also told us that Moriarty had in fact a death wish and that he would have killed himself anyway, making his whole suicide on the roof pretty weak. Instead of some diabolically clever villain with diabolically bold clever calculated plan, we got the guy who just was crazy and wanted to off himself. Big whoop. It got only worse when TAB special was literally dedicated to Sherlock trying to understand that Moriarty, who shot himself standing right in front of Sherlock in broad daylight, was actually really dead. No shit, Sherlock. Moriarty was again present in Sherlock’s Mind Palace, grimacing all the way, which probably was supposed to look cool and edgy, but didn’t, and looked like a tired rehash. Then S4 finally completely killed any coolness or sense which Moriarty still had in the show (and there wasn’t much left by the time). S4 told us how Moriarty met with secret super powerful sister Eurus, spent 5 minutes talking with her or smh and even teamed with her, recording some dumb edgy videos for Eurus, which she used when Moriarty himself was already dead. Since Eurus is capable to hypnotize people after talking with them the question was left open if Moriarty was really compromised by Eurus and was just her puppet since then. Either way Moriarty was pretty much destroyed as interesting and effective villain in the show, because a) he either was hypnotized by Eurus, made into her puppet and lost any personal agenda or free will since then; or b) he wasn’t hypnotized by Eurus, remained himself but was just really unhinged, mad dude, whose unpredictability didn’t seem like a result of his great intellect or scheming or an act, but rather a result of him being a psycho, who wanted badly to kill himself, also hoping that Sherlock would ~ probably~ kill himself as well—and if Sherlock doesn’t kill himself, hey, no biggie, he got those great choo-choo videos for Eurus which she could use against Sherlock, though Moriarty wouldn’t be able to see this anyway, because he will be dead by then. But surely choo-choo videos will work! Surely the world's only consulting criminal could always count on choo-choo videos! Great plan! 2) The problem with women
I already talked once about how Mofftiss treat female characters on the shows and the short answer is: they treat them pretty awful as they pretend to write “strong female characters” while basically doing “Feminism for Dummies: The Male Edition”.
According to Mofftiss strong female characters mean mostly villainous, dubious, criminal, weaponized psychopaths.
---Irene Adler – twisted rewritten version of ACD’s Irene Adler, here villainized cruel sex worker and blackmailer, who is told what to do by male villain, because she can’t figure it out on her own, loses to Sherlock because she fell for him and later is saved by him. Moffat literally described Irene as psychopath, in fact he describes Sherlock as one as well, saying: ”He's a psychopath, so is she”.
Moffat also considers ACD’s Irene boring, saying: “In the original, Irene Adler's victory over Sherlock Holmes was to move house and run away with her husband. That's not a feminist victory." Moffat is a very big fan of ACD’s stories according to Moffat. No comments here. ---Eurus “Ebony Dark'ness Dementia” Holmes – OC, secret sister genius with super powers, who killed a child while she herself was a child, tortured her brother Sherlock and has been put to medical facility- prison for life (where she continued to torture and kill people, and even rape them-well, there was one case at least. She also was able to leave prison at her will and kill people outside). A total psycopath, who fixed her multi-talents on playing some evil games with Sherlock. Turned out to be so, so very needy, that the only thing she really wants is a hug from Sherlock, cause she loses the minute he hugs her. Obviously Mofftiss tried to build her as this greatest villain on the show who ever villain, but it didn’t work out. --Mary Watson – practically an OC, since Mofftiss so heavily rewrote her, that she doesn’t resemble Mary Morstan from ACD’s canon. Even her real name is not really Mary Morstan here, she borrowed it from the grave slab of another person. She is ex-assassin who was murdering people for cash, but retired now, who lies and hides her past from everybody, then she shoots Sherlock almost killing him for good, in order to cover up the fact that she came to kill her blackmailer and Sherlock discovered her. Then Mofftiss make a big point that her main agenda in show is really a new life with a husband she loves and their baby (Mary shoots Sherlock while already being pregnant). Then Mary leaves her husband and little baby girl (the girl given to Mary by Mofftiss in the show, she doesn’t exist in ACD’s canon) when somebody hunts her ex-fellow assassins (yep, they still out there or some of them). Then she is tracked down and returns, but then she is killed off because she jumped in front of the bullet meant for Sherlock leaving her baby girl without the mother and her husband as widower. Bye bye Mary’s agenda, it has been destroyed. (Also what an insult to professional mercenary getting killed by some institutional secretary, honestly). Then it turns out Mary recorded some weird ass DVDs which are now regularly sent to Sherlock and John, and while she makes some kitch speeches there she barely remembers about existence of her baby daughter, if at all. In the process we find out that John, while Mary was still alive, was already heavily flirting with another woman (it was Eurus “Ebony Dark'ness” in disguise) and really wanted to cheat on Mary. Oh, and Amanda Abbington herself described Mary as psychopath. --A small shout out to those Victorian ladies from TAB’s Mind Palace - they formed a secret sect in order to kill men, had creepy secret meetings and basically were an underground murder club on the loose, even were referred to as “league of furies” at one point. Oh look, women are again portrayed as vile, criminal and agressive entities, with attached aesthetic of KKK. Straw feminism is strong with these ones. --Ok, let’s remember Molly Hooper, she is not a psychopath, she is not villainous, she is not a criminal, she is a nice, smart, normal, kind young working woman. At long last something different, right? Real potential? Ehm, nope, Mofftiss still ruined it. Because she is kept in the show as a female character with a deep desperate unrequired crush on Sherlock who is ready to do a lot for him, but repeatedly mistreated by the object of her affections. Sherlock humiliates, manipulates and abuses her emotionally several times during the show, when it gets better between them, but Mofftiss make sure that poor Molly still can’t have personal life outside of Sherlock, her new BF/fiance Tom ins S3 is a poor copy of Sherlock, he even dresses like him (probably it was done for laughs in the show “ha ha, poor Molly, got replacement goldfish, can’t really move on” only it wasn’t really funny), but they broke up by the end of S3. Then Molly is pushed aside for most of S4, and then there is that famous “I love you” scene, which deeply hurts Molly and makes her cry.....the scene, which according to Mofftiss was a last-minute addition to the script and was not about Molly or her relationships with Sherlock at all, but only about Sherlock and his emotional development and how he is more human now. Molly was simply used by Mofftiss as show-case of Sherlock’s manpain. There was no resolution to this scene and Moffat simply said that Molly would get over it, by having a drink and shagging someone. That’s...deep. Not.
It really makes you wonder what’s Mofftiss’s problem with women and why writing for female characters on the show is such a trainwreck? Well, according to Moffat: --“The original [Sir Arthur Conan Doyle] stories had a huge female following, which I'd never forgotten, and that's because the Victorian ladies liked the way Sherlock looked. (Laughs.) So I thought, use this massively exciting, rather handsome man who could see right through your heart and have no interest ... of course, he's going to be a sex god! I think we pitched that character right. I think our female fan base all believe that they'll be the one to melt that glacier. They're all wrong -- nothing will melt that glacier.” --"Women are needy. Women are out there hunting for husbands." Also his understanding of pregnancy and motherhood “Your wife turns into a boat, and shortly after that, you never sleep again and you clean shit off someone. It doesn’t seem like a very appealing prospect”. Also the infamous “There’s a huge, unfortunate lack of respect for anything male.” I guess all of it sort of explains why Mofftiss write women that way. To be continued...

A Victorian take on the aftermath of the dramatic Mary Reveal from HLV. Rated T and probably not quite what you wanted, @rooneykmara but I hope you like it anyway. :)
New Person, Same Old Mistakes
“I see that temper of yours has got you into trouble again, Watson.”
John Watson scowled and hunched his shoulders against his former flatmate’s words, mildly though they’d been uttered. An observation rather than a condemnation, although he felt the sting of them keenly. “Why must she be so difficult, Sherlock? Why can’t she be more like...”
“Like the woman you thought you’d married?” Holmes cut in. “Witty, charming, friendly, helpful? Oh wait, her recent actions have rendered those other truths null and void, I forgot. Never mind that all she’s really done is reveal deeper truths, including a rather impressive skill set that you and I decidedly lack.”
Watson turned to face him with a scowl. “Since you were the near-victim of her ‘hidden skill set’,” he replied with deep sarcasm, “I fail to see why you continue to support her actions that night. Good lord, man, she shot you in cold blood!” His blood boiled at the memory. “And then she attempted to blackmail you into keeping her actions secret from me, her own husband!”
“Because she knew very well how you would react,” Holmes replied coolly. “As your temporary return to Baker Street and refusal to so much as speak to her for the past month have proven. She knew you would condemn her, refuse to hear her side of the story...make the same mistakes with her that you made with me, after my return from the dead.”
“You both lied to me,” he said lowly. “Neither of you trusted me to keep your secrets.”
“For my part, it was unforgivable, yes,” Holmes said frankly. “And yet you still chose to forgive me. For Mary’s part, it was not truly her secret to share. Anyone who acts as an agent for the British government in such a capacity is forbidden by both the Official Secrets Act and my brother Mycroft - who can be far more intimidating than a mere piece of paper, as you well know - from revealing the truth of their status to anyone. Anyone,” he repeated with heavy emphasis when Watson opened his mouth to object. “Even their husband. Who happens to be involved in various unsavory misadventures with his even more unsavory best friend. And who, not incidentally, is known to write up their adventures for the popular press. Why she thought it a poor idea to share her status with you I shall never understand.”
The last was said quite mockingly, but Watson couldn’t find it in himself to be angry. For once, the endless well of fury that seemed to lurk deep in his heart, ready to explode at the slightest provocation, had run dry. He sat back heavily in his chair, dropping his head to his hand. He heard Holmes move to sit opposite him, and there was silence for a long time before either spoke again.
“It’s different when it’s the person to whom you’ve pledged your life, your love, and your future,” Watson said quietly. “I do not expect you to understand that, Holmes, as an unattached bachelor, but it is a very different thing when your wife lies to you. How can I trust a single thing she’s ever said to me, if she can lie about such an important aspect of her life? How can I believe her when she tells me she loves me?” he added in a near whisper, chest aching with emotions too tumultuous to identify.
“You can trust her implicitly, Watson, in matters of the heart, because you are not an assignment. She did not marry you under orders from Mycroft, or in order to further her cover,” Holmes replied, just as softly. “You have my word on that...and more importantly, you have hers.”
Watson said nothing, merely let loose a sigh. After a moment he heard Holmes leave his seat, cross the sitting room, and then exit the flat, the door shutting behind him with a familiar creak and click.
He remained unmoving for many hours, until finally the evening shadows extinguished all but the flickering lights from the fireplace to his left. He rose creakily to his feet, lit the gas in the wall sconces against Holmes’ return, and had just started to shrug into his overcoat when the door opened. He turned to see who it was, expecting either Holmes or Mrs. Hudson, and was somehow unsurprised to see Mary standing there.
“Sherlock sent me a note,” she explained, showing him the small white envelope. “He asked me to come...”
All the anger and hurt he’d been holding so tightly to seemed to melt at the sight of her troubled mien. He ignored the skeptical voice at the very furthest reaches of his mind that whispered she might be acting and how can you trust her in favor of crossing the room until he stood directly in front of her. “You lied to me,” he said.
She nodded her head once in acknowledgement of his words. “I did. But I never meant...”
He raised a hand, stopping her words, and she stood quietly, hands folded in front of her, looking very much like a prisoner awaiting judgement - and accepting of whatever fate might be in store for them.
“I've thought long and hard about what I want to say to you,” he finally said. “These are prepared words, Mary. I've chosen these words with care.”
She nodded.
He drew a deep breath before speaking again, finally voicing the words he’d crafted after the course of the afternoon. “The problems of your past are your business. The problems of your future...are my privilege. That's all I have to say; that's all I need to know. You need tell me nothing more of your work for Mycroft Holmes or Her Majesty’s government; I trust that you will share with me anything that I need to know, anything that will impact our future as husband and wife.”
Mary’s face seemed to crumple. “You don’t even know what else I’ve done in the name of Queen and Country...”
He reached out and took her hands in his - not tenderly, he was not quite ready for tenderness, but firmly. “All this does not mean I’m not still quite cross with you, Mary.”
She nodded and managed a smile through her tears. “Yes, I know.”
As he pulled her into his embrace, careful not to jostle her or hold her too tightly lest he do some harm to the precious cargo she carried within her womb, he added, “I am very cross, and it will come out now and again.”
“I know, I know,” Mary assured him as she wrapped her arms around him and settled her head on his shoulder.
“You can inventory the supplies in my clinic from now on,” he said after a moment, a tentative attempt at lightening the moment.
She drew her head back to look at him. “I do that now, husband.”
His brow furrowed. “I do it much of the time,” he protested.
She gave a small, watery laugh. “You really don’t.”
Watson harrumphed. “I get to choose the baby’s name.”
Her laughter was much less choked this time as she shook her head. “No, I’m afraid not.”
He smiled and pulled her close again. “Very well,” he conceded.

Summary: Originally, Mummy Holmes wanted to arrange a marriage for her younger son, not wanting him to be lonely. When Sherlock refused, Mycroft agreed to step in, which ended up with him marrying John Watson. Things worked well between them- until John met his brother-in-law.
Some personal notes on it: My first work for the fandom and I’m so ridiculously proud of it. I never actually intended for it to end the way it did, but boy was it a fun ride!
Additional notes: quite a lot of angst/hurt, conflicted feelings, more or less canon compliant. Ends more hopeful than happy.
Burned hearts
Johnlock, complete, 7300 words.
Summary: A retell from the scene at the pool in TGG, in which John is never revealed to be Moriarty’s hostage. Believing himself fooled, Sherlock goes through a bit of a meltdown.
Some personal notes on it: this idea came to me when I first watched TGG. I think that I could have expanded it so much more and make it even more angsty but well… I still like it.
Additional notes: angst, lots of self doubt, Sherlock doesn’t cope well, Mycroft and Greg are very concerned.
Pointless thoughts
Mystrade & Johnlock. First work of series, 10 works in the series, 102800 words overall. Complete.
Summary: Crown Prince Mycroft knows better than to show his affection for a man beneath his station. Sherlock is not quite as lucky and when the King finds out about his friendship with John, the later is sent away to his certain death. Devastated, the younger Prince awaits for death- until he finds he has something left to fight for and Mycroft finds himself fighting to protect his brother’s secret (and later his own)
Some personal notes: Pseudo historical settings are a weakness of mine. I was very pump up to work on these series and I enjoyed every second of it. Also, writing a whole fic from Mycroft’s POV was quite the experience (the main fic runs from his POV, the rest of the works run from Greg’s, Sherlock’s and John’s)
Additional notes: Royal AU, A/B/O dynamics, Mpreg and angst. Also a ridiculous amount of pining. Warnings for some dubcon in some of the works and a bit of Sheriarty.
Crush
Johncroft & Sherstrade, complete, 20000 words.
Summary: Sherlock has been nursing a crush on DI Greg Lestrade since they met. Of course the poor man has no clue whatsoever and somehow his newest friend, John Watson is stuck with the task of helping him win the other man over, all while attempting to deal with his own crush on the older Holmes.
Some personal notes: I started working on this in an attempt to get myself to work on the continuation of “Long term complications of arranged marriages”. Also, an attempt of humor, although I’m not sure how well it worked out.
Additional notes: attempted humor, silly situations, bit of rom com and perhaps a tad of angst here and there. Sort of canon compliant (if you ignore S3)
Apples and Oranges
Johnlock, complete, 600 words.
Summary: Kid Sherlock is attempting to figure out why would people like kissing. John helps.
Some personal notes: this was a fill in for a tumblr prompt. Just some kidlock fluff.
Additional notes: AU, kidlock, fluff.
Unexpected
Johnlock (side Mystrade and Irene/Kate), complete, 27600 words.
Summary: After a one night stand with his best friend, John is determined not to let things change between them. Except he’s now expecting a baby and finds himself in a bit of a mess.
Some personal notes: I mean- it’s the cliché of the clichés. Very rom com, but well… I enjoyed working on it very much.
Additional notes: A/B/O dynamics, Mpreg, attempted humor, rom com, misunderstandings, unplanned pregnancy, angst.
Unforeseen
Mystrade (side Johnlock), complete, 11500 words.
Summary: Mycroft’s family is convinced he and Greg would make a wonderful couple. Greg is willing, but Mycroft refuses to see sense.
Some personal notes: belongs in series with “Unexpected”, but it can pretty much stand on its own. A continuation of sorts, although the focus is definitely Greg’s and Mycroft’s relationship.
Additional notes: A/B/O dynamics, misunderstandings, humor & angst.
Long shot
Johnlock, complete, 44200 words.
Summary: Omega werewolf Sherlock is engaged to human Prince John, after having scared off his last suitor. It seems it might work out for the best though- at least until the Dark and Immortal Wizard Moriarty rises again.
Some personal notes: when I write original fiction, I tend towards fantasy with a mix of romance. Indulging in my love for both genres was a joy. Also, this was my work with most kudos for a long while, so I guess it shows ;)
Additional notes: A/B/O dynamics, Mpreg, arranged marriage, angst, pining, misunderstandings, Jim being Jim (he’s the perfect fairytale villain, honestly)
Wildest dreams
Johnlock (although victorian), complete, 3800 words.
Summary: Watson puts an end to his relationship with Holmes, in order to marry Mary Morstan.
Some personal notes: have I told you how I love Taylor Swift’s songs? I had been trying to avoid writing this particular fic because I worried about my abilities to write something with such a strict historical setting, but I should probably have stopped listening to the song because it soon became too much :P
Additional notes: victorian (but a bit loosely I think), angst, pining, unhealthy coping mechanisms… HAPPY ENDING
Mistaken impressions
Johnlock, WIP (on hiatus?)
Summary: John is convinced his neighbor’s boyfriend is a jerk. He sort of is, but he’s actually Sherlock’s brother.
Some personal notes: I liked this idea, but as I started writing… I lost my way a bit. So now I’m a bit stuck with is, since I have no idea where exactly I want to go with it.
Additional notes: references to past abusive relationships, past drug addiction, unhealthy coping mechanisms, angst, drama, pining, MISUNDERSTANDINGS and some attempts of humor.
Hopeless
Johnlock, complete, 45800 words.
Summary: John’s a slave in Lord Magnussen’s household. When a new slave arrives and the Master takes a fancy on her (although it’s really him), John finds himself doing the best he can to protect him.
Some personal notes: this idea came to me in a dream. Which is why it’s far darker than my usual writings and also the reason for Trans Sherlock. I don’t like fighting my inspiration and well… I went with it, even if it added another layer of complications to this particular fic.
Additional notes: trans character, misgendering, implied/referenced noncon (although there’s nothing explicit), underage (it’s never explicitly stated, but Sherlock is 14 when the fic starts), slavery, sexual slavery, very dark, very angsty, mentions of violence, murder and abuse. It has a happy/hopeful ending, though!
Home for Christmas
Johnlock, complete, 8500 words.
Summary: When Mycroft Holmes informs his family he’s bringing along a friend for Christmas, the household is thrown into utter chaos: Mummy Holmes is delighted, of course and Mr. Holmes is just baffled. Sherlock, however, is determined to figure out what is his brother up to. Mycroft doesn’t do friendships, let alone relationships, so who is this mysterious Dr. John H. Watson and what’s his business with his brother?
Some personal notes: this is the actual summary on AO3, but I really don’t know a better way to describe it ;) I think my attempt of humor did work here, even if it endeded up including a bit of angst (but not much)
Additional notes: Alternate First Meeting, humor, Christmas fic, misunderstandings (of a sort), family.
Black magic
Johnlock, complete, 7400 words.
Summary: John ends up with a magic love potion (he was drunk, don’t judge him!) and in a fit of desperate longing, he gives it to Sherlock. He didn’t expect it to work since magic does not exist, so he’s a little baffled when Sherlock starts acting weirdly.
Some personal notes: this was the first fic I meant to write for the fandom. I never got around finishing until now, when I figured I might as well give it another try. I think it could have been longer, but I had no idea what else to write :P
Additional notes: attempt of humor, magic, a surprising amount of discussion of consent issues, not actually unrequited love.
Lessons in romance
Mystrade & Johnlock, 49300 words.
Summary: Sherlock may or may not be stalking the boy he likes. Mycroft has no wisdom to share with his little brother on the subject of romance and Greg is not helping at all.
Some personal notes: I got inspired to write this after listening to a song in spanish called “Rey Azul”. I’ve always wanted to write a teenlock and I adore writing the Holmes brothers as being completely oblivious on the subject of romance. Somehow, it turned angstier than I expected. My only work with over 500 kudos, which makes me ridiculously happy, obviously.
Additional notes: humor (at first), teenlock, heartbreak, jealousy, pining, bad family relationships.
All is fair (in love and war)
Johnlock, complete, 6300 words.
Summary: Eurus’ “game” forces John and Sherlock to confess long hidden feelings. It turns out as well as you’d expect.
Some personal notes: It started as a rewrite of the “I love you” scene in TFP, turned into a sort of fix it fic. I like it, even if I’m not completely sure the logic holds :P
Additional notes: angst, drama, hurt without comfort, but has a happy ending!
Priceless
Johnlock, WIP.
Summary: Sherlock is a Prince with a Kingdom at war. He makes a deal with the all powerful wizard called “the Dark One”; the wizard will stop the war if Sherlock stays with him forever.
Some personal notes: this fic is result of the FandomTrumpsHate auction, for the lovely @sherlock-and-john-getting-it-on. I was asked for a “Beauty and the Beast” inspired fic with John as the Beast. I asked for the chance to use the Once Upon a Time spin of the tale and this is the result.
Additional notes: magical AU, pining, misunderstandings (they’re both so silly it hurts!), includes my attempt of some proper smut, Jim wrote himself into it and in doing that provided me with an ending :P
Of love, madness and other powerful motivators
Some background Johnlock, Warstan, but relationships aren’t the focus. WIP (on hiatus).
Summary: Jim shoots himself at Bart’s ceiling and Sherlock jumps to save the people he loves (read John Watson); what he doesn’t know is that there are other forces at play and revenge is a dish best served cold. Jim’s turn has ended, but Eurus’ is just beginning.
Some personal notes: after reading many wonderful posts after the S4 finale, one point that really stuck me was about badly written female characters. It made me realize I don’t write that many female characters either and I don’t know if I’m any good at it so… this was born. Running with the idea that Mary worked for Jim, and (in this fic at least) by extension, Eurus.
Additional notes: angst, complicated relationships, mixed feelings, Eurus is actually out for revenge, imagining a whole alternate line for S4.
Saving all my love for you
Johnlock, WIP (on hiatus).
Summary: Unrequited love is no fun.
Some personal notes: I just wanted to write something angsty, heart tugging. There isn’t much plot, really, just a lot of pining and self reflection.
Additional notes: based on the song by the same title, angst, pining, sad, unilock.
Little lies and crazy plans
Mystrade & Johnlock, complete, 12300 words.
Summary: Sherlock recruits Greg’s help to seduce his brother away so he can have his boyfriend. But nothing is quite what it seems.
Some personal notes: A short silly story with a fake/pretend relationship that occurred to me because I re-read my own fic, “Long term complications of arranged marriages” and wanted to write some Johncroft with Johnlock but I couldn’t bring myself to make it angsty (again)
Additional notes: humor, alternate first meeting, fake/pretend relationship (John & Mycroft), jealousy, pining.
The art of letting go
Johnlock, complete, 47400 words.
Summary: Sherlock convinces himself that if he can’t remember what happened on the stag night, then it didn’t happen at all. Until he finds out he’s pregnant and he can’t keep pretending, that is.
Some personal notes: Oh, I loved working on this. I have a thing for unplanned pregnancies (as you can probably tell) and while writing a character as trans always makes me nervous, I thought it worked well. The story is very angsty at points and it doesn’t get hopeful until the very end so… be warned!
Additional notes: Trans character, Mpreg, angst (a lot), jealousy, pining, Mary and John are married but she isn’t pregnant, pos TSoT, follows HLV more or less.
Baby, don't call me your friend
Mollrene, side Johnlock, WIP.
Summary: Irene watches John and Sherlock dance around each other while she avoids thinking of her own crush on her friend Molly.
Some personal notes: Another idea that came to me through music… I like it, but I’m not quite sure where it is going :P
Additional notes: alternate universe-high school, jealousy, pining, humor.
There’s always time for love (even at the end of the world)
Johnlock (1st chapter), Mollrene (2nd chapter), complete, 3700 words
Summary: In the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse, John and Sherlock run into Dr. Irene Adler while on a supply run.
Some personal notes: My daughter ADORES zombie movies, which translates on me having watched almost every single one on netflix. So of course inspiration struck.
Additional notes: alternate universe-zombie apocalypse, referenced past character death (that’s one hell of a downside with zombie apocalypses), jealousy, romance
Dutifulness
Mystrade, WIP.
Summary: As the clan’s Heir, Mycroft is expected to choose an appropriate Mate.
But the one he would willingly choose is far from appropriate.
Some personal notes: this one belongs in series with “Long shot”. I always intended to include some Mystrade there, but it didn’t quite work out and well… I finally got around writing this companion piece that stands well on its own.
Additional notes: Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamics, class differences (somewhat), pining, light angst.
Bad timing
Johnlock, side Mystrade, WIP
Summary:Having run away from home after finding out his family was planning on sending him as a tribute to the Fire Lord, Sherlock somehow finds himself joining the rebellion.
Some personal notes: this one is a submission for the June’s hiatustory challenge. Also, I had been wanting to write an Avatar AU, so it seemed like the perfect chance ;)
Additional notes: alternate universe-avatar and bender’s setting, pining, jealousy, secret identity, romance.
A fortunate encounter
Johnlock, complete, 3300 words.
Summary:While escaping a group of enemy soldiers, Sherlock ends up in a mysterious island.
Some personal notes: after watching the Wonder Woman movie I couldn’t contain myself and ended up writing this short thing ;)
Additional notes: Wonder Woman AU, love at first sight, spoilers for the movie (somewhat, but not really), romance.
And that’s it for now! I hope you’ll enjoy them and if you could reblog this to share with your followers I’d be most thankful! :D
Also, if you enjoy my works and have any money to spare, I could really use help to pay my graduation fees, so you could Buy Me a Coffee

Ok so I’ve seen Sherlock 4.1, The Six Thatchers and below the cut are my Obligatory Thoughts On The Episode.
--
--
--
It actually took me awhile to put together a reaction that wasn’t “Huh?” until after I read some other meta. Unfortunately I had seen some mixed reactions and Mary’s death had been spoiled for me (FUCKING THANKS TUMBLR) before the show was even available in the US, but I suppose it was partially my fault for being on this hell-site at all.
Overall, my non-spoilery review would be: it made me want to watch the next two episodes. Unlike the previous (and perhaps better?) first 2 seasons where Moriarty loomed as the villain in the background, it hasn’t been clear ever since who the actual threat is. It’s kinda Moriarty? In season 3 it was kind of Mary, depending on your view of the character and how much Sherlock felt threatened by her for John’s affection?
(...Which IMO was... not at all. I think Sherlock unreservedly adored Mary. She was indeed a side effect of his own failure to inform John of his disappearance and the never-healed rift that has been there between them ever since, but Sherlock is an adult and doesn’t blame her for that. And she is very much a female John. They get along famously. I think it’s clear Sherlock indeed misses the days of being close to John, but I think he blames that entirely on himself and on Moriarty, not on John’s new companion. If anything he probably thanks Mary for keeping John alive through a period where he was borderline suicidal...)
Anyway, back to the episode. Really, it cemented that Mary was kind of only an aberration to the series, which is both a disappointment and a relief. On the one hand, I like Mary as a person and it’s annoying that it looks like she was fridged. But then again, Arthur Conan Doyle couldn’t even be bothered to get her name consistent between stories and killed her off in the books more or less because he forgot about her. The show’s treatment of Mary is far more respectful in that light, she is indeed a badass. But she is, indeed, a third wheel to the famous duo and the narrative didn’t quite seem to be able to gel with her there. The story kept needing to find some reason that John could go on adventures, and the addition of a cool assassin wife made it all the less likely that she wouldn’t come along. But it really, really threw off the dynamic of the team when she was there, more for reasons of the writers perhaps, but also because of the expectations of the audience, or some combination of the two. Perhaps it’s more that I like Amanda Abbington (doesn’t EVERYONE likes her??) but no one was quite sure how to have her character add constructively to the narrative? I’m not really sure how I would have done it myself as a writer to be honest, without it just being a totally new story and no longer based at all on ACD’s Holmes.
So it’s a disappointment because the death scene was... pretty awful. I know they said people cried about it but me it left a bit perplexed and underwhelmed. Perhaps because even Martin’s mournful grief noises will never quite hit the same place it did for me with Thorin’s death in the Hobbit, that horrible pitiable sound. Also the scenes were so similar in many ways? I always felt the Hobbit was copying Sherlock (at the very LEAST with its casting!) but now it feels reversed somewhat. Bilbo’s grief over Thorin was so gut-wrenching that even knowing Martin really cares for Amanda and that he was probably drawing from life there, it didn’t have quite the same impact, perhaps because the scene didn’t have nearly as good a set up as the Thorin death scene. (Also Doctor Strange somewhat ruined Benedict for me, if only because BC was so obviously cast in order to play a riff on his BBC Sherlock character that going back to Sherlock after seeing Strange almost feels... too derivative?)
Basically there were some great entertainment moments, BBC Sherlock is still fantastic television. But I feel like I don’t really have the whole picture of what’s going on. I’d love to go back to this episode once all 3 are out and gasp over all the HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT clues, but right now they’re still obscure to me and I don’t think we have enough information to actually piece together what is going on. I kinda hope it IS Moriarty back in some clever way, but I very much doubt it. But his lack really shows how much the looming threat of a mastermind glued the series together, without him or his like (the other villains have been poor shadows) it’s a little unclear what all of this is about besides interpersonal drama, we’re not really even enjoying the cases anymore, because the characters involved don’t seem to be enjoying the cases. John and Sherlock seem to be more going through the motions then actually having adventures. They feel tired.
What I really fear is happening is BBC Sherlock is falling into the Supernatural trap. There’s two characters, we can’t really expand the cast (not sure why for Supernatural, but for Sherlock it’s because it’s at least loosely based on the original books which are not ensemble pieces and are very much about Sherlock & John), so they only drama is.... put them together, rip them apart, put them together, etc. Supernatural fans are VERY familiar with the Once Per Season Breakup of Sam and Dean, I dearly hope Sherlock doesn’t fall into that. Which drew me to the series is that it AVOIDED that pitfall at first, it’s why I couldn’t get into “Elementary”, because I’m so damn sick and tired of being subjected to watching “teammates” who can’t stand each other. So damn sick of it. I don’t want a Holmes and Watson who loathe one another, I want to see the tale of their friendship (and maybe more, ideally!). Sherlock and John in the BBC show were great because it was an instant connection and it was them against the world. They may feud or be exasperated with one another, but it was bearable to watch because their connection was never in doubt.
Season 3 began after Sherlock’s major betrayal of John’s trust. I’m actually ok with the idea from a dramatic standpoint that John never really forgave him after that, and Mary allowed him to not rebound immediately back once Sherlock returned. What I hope isn’t happening is something outside the story (for example, Freeman and Cumberbatch actually don’t get along and it’s bleeding through, plus the new stardom makes this an old story for them at this point) OR that we’re going to be stuck without them ever getting “together” again, or a true reunion arc without the distraction of an admitted third wheel.
It felt like we ALMOST had a reunion in The Abominable Bride, but really John and Sherlock haven’t been close since that day on the roof, they’ve been severed by that huge betrayal and time apart. I’m hoping this is building towards a proper reunion and it won’t feel like John is suffering Sherlock’s company anymore. If that happens, I believe this season will become a roaring success, because that connection was so key to the chemistry of the show. And sadly, Mary absolutely was a bit off-beat, a bit of a distraction. She never quite fit the story. It’s why the Abominable Bride reunion, and even the prior “reconciliations” between John and Sherlock never quite clicked, because they were never quite alone again.
Now they’re very alone. We lost a fine character, I actually really like Mary, but I want to see what happens next. There were some clunky moments. But then, it’s not like every episode has been a masterwork of perfection (The Blind Banker, anyone? Definitely some awkward moments there). But I feel we’ve been set up for some very good drama now, and I hope they pull it off, and I’m reasonably certain that they will.
Now if I can just avoid the damn Tumblr spoilers!

A Bullet Post: The Lying Detective
(Again, LONG POST ahead and this is my third time replaying the episode and I noticed things while browsing on here and some of my own bits.)
●Nice carpet there. Red.
●And it makes some sense that Rosie isn't with John at that time. Very unstable, not good. But I can't help but to think something else is wrong here.
●"Why does everything have to be understandable? Why can't things be unacceptable and we just say that?" Funny enough John can't seem to accept some things of his own.
●Not gonna lie, first time watching it I was really shifting if this was Mary and the Bus Lady. I was that broken about the last episode.
●This is John in pain right now. Seeing his dead wife right there. This is John.
●"What's the very worst thig you can do to your very best friends? Tell them your darkest secret. Because if you tell them and they decided they rather not know, you can't take it back you can't unsay it. Once you've opened your heart you can't close it again." I think...this will be brought right into The Final Problem for sure. And he might be back as well.
●TD 12. They couldn't JUST mention this and implement it and NOT having this drug involved somehow in the arching story in some bigger way.
●This soundtrack going on while he was about to confess reminded me a little bit of Mr. Robot's soundtrack. Heh.
●When Sherlock said in the last episode that intuitions should not be ignored and that it's data processed too fast for the mind to comprehend? Yeah, I knew her face was off but then the scene was going along, I was listening and it just slipped my mind altogether. Sneaky, sneaky, show...
●I love the way they show Sherlock's throught process here, with the chalk, the handbag and so much else.
●How many things is he cooking up exactly?
●Oh, Sherlock. :(
●And...after awhile it made me wonder if John had been in the same state "Faith" was in as well. :( Sherlock shouldn't label himself. :( Sociopaths don't care this much. :( And this sociopath does. :')
●Ok this, this right now HE IS SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH HIS SISTER. AND HE'S SMILING IN THE STATE HE'S IN AND KNOWS WHY HE IS IN THIS STATE, BUT HE IS SMILING BECAUSE HIS SECRET CRAZY EVIL SISTER MADE A LIGHT SARCASTIC JOKE AND DID THIS...
●I LOVE THE WAY HE SAYS "ROOM".
●"Oh, Big Brother is watching you." "Literally." DOUBLE LITERALLY HOLY SHIT. WOW. At first I thought "how did she know that?" But then Mycroft is the government and Sherlock is popular or something.
●"You never made it up to me?" "And how am i supposed to do that?" "Sex." LITERALLY AND I'LL GET TO THAT LATER.
●UCK OFF. Oh, Empty Hearse feels.
●Sherlock talking about one taking their own life and how it would still affect those close to you after you're gone because your life is also theirs. Moffat, thank you for that.
●IF YOU BLINK YOU MISS IT.
●Now...why was this gun shown at the beginning of this episode and connected to John YET also connected to TST with the aquarium? Ohh boi....
●TWO TIMES NOW WHEN SHERLOCK IS DRUGGED WE FLASH BACK TO REDBEARD.
●ANYONE. This whole sequence was so awesome. So very awesome and trippy.
●I LOVE THIS WOMAN SO MUCH. SHE IS OUR VOICE HERE. SHE IS A FORCE. WE SING HER PRAISES.
●AND THIS WHOLE THING. I WAS FEELING SO MANY EMOTIONS. I was laughing because it's just hilarious, i was feeling so bad and sorry because the man is so close to loosing his mind and i felt like I want to put him in my pocket because he's precious and needs protection.
● "Oh, hello. Can I have a cup of tea?" SYRJAIUOHTKDDTHKHTKDUOIAYDJTYSJRYJDTUKTDYFJLBABY
● Basically. (and I love this whole sequence too)
●"I know Mary's dead and I know your heart's broken but if Sherlock Holmes dies too who will you have? I will tell you something John Watson you will not have me!" "They don't matter! You do!" MRS. HUDSON, THANK YOU.
●This is the part where I collectively lost my shit the first time I saw this scene. MRS. HUDSON, THANK YOU. (Even though he planned being there but he didn't figure THIS out. My god the poor man in the trunk when Mrs Hudson was in a highspeed car chase though.)
●"YOU PRETENDED TO BE DEAD FOR TWO YEARS." ".....apart from that!" omg.
● "He knows you." "No, he doesn't" "I'm in your head, John. You're disagreeing with yourself" And he agreed that he was too while answering the driver as well. And knowing this you reconstruct every scene with him and Mary who's in his head. Because Mary is John's thoughts.
●"Yeah, ok he is. But he's our monster." said in an eyerolling, affectionate and knowing way. MEANING: "He's my monster. I know that." :""")
●"You know I'm a killer. But did you know I'm a CEREAL KILLER?" DAT PUN.
●Ahhh John Watson's blog. Funny because in the last episode he was still "updating" it. But on the website itself they say he isn't.
●JAWN. OMG JAWWWWWN.
●and after thought when scrolling through tumblr he does dress pretty sharp in this series does he? Does it serve a purpose?
●Mary smiling and watching Sherlock being obliviously funny as he mostly is. MEANING: John is enjoying and loving this. John wants him to wear the hat.
●MY BOYS ARE CLICKING IN SYNC AGAIN. (little did I know later. :( )
●I really like the H. H. Holmes element they brought in here. Because it may relate to Culverton AND Sherlock's sister. Hiding in plain sight the both of them. A hotel secretly a murder hotel.
●There is no getting over that this happened.
●It cannot be justified other than this is John's rage and guilt letting himself hit Sherlock because John himself is in so much pain already. So why not take it out on someone else for a change? It is not fair nor is it right. And Sherlock didn't even cover himself. He feels just as guilty as well and he loathes himself that much to allow John to continue. Something like this cannot be mended easily. But they'll get there. They only got each other now. The person who causes you the most pain is the person that can can fix it sort of thing.
●"You're still thinking about Sherlock?" "No, you are." MEANING: HE IS STILL THINKING ABOUT SHERLOCK. AND HE HATED WHAT HE HAD DONE TO SHERLOCK.
●"Sherlock is not your only brother. There's another one is there?" "No." HAHAHAAHHAHAH IT'S A SISTER . WE'RE ALL FOOLS.
●"The man we both love."
●They have really gone through mad lenghts for their love for John. Mary didn't "properly" kill Sherlock that first time because of John, Mary knew that would break John and didn't want that on her hands even though she was in a tight situation that she could've easily gotten out of. She then saved Sherlock because...she likes him and instict at most but I can't help but think John equals into this as well. Sherlock as saved his life loads and loads of times in many ways and John himself knows this. So this last bit where Mary tells Sherlock to basically be in living hell, Sherlock does it because it's John, he would do whatever it takes. Depression is a tricky thing and when you're really down below it would take a lot to bring that person back up. Especially with a man like him. But I don't like it that this plan is by chance. It almost didn't work. That's how in bad a shape John is right now.
●Yes, he changed the IV but he knows he's going to die with Smith there. That crack in his voice tells so much. (OMG I LOST MYSELF HERE. DAMMIT BEN.)
●He doesn't want to die because he wants his best friend and the man he loves to save his life. But probably with what happened to them he wasn't so sure about that and this scared him.
●"Oh, you cock." NO I THOUGHT THERE WAS A RECORDING DEVICE UNDER HIS COCK ASDGHHJLJHFSAETUIODOMG
●THIS BIT. HE WANTED JOHN TO STAAAAAYYYYYYYY. I SAW THAT.
●AND JOHN WANTED TO STAY AS WELL BUT APPARENTLY HE'S IGNORING THIS FACT FROM HIMSELF?
●Sherlock is making so much human efforts like never before this is great, he almost let John walk out the door but no, he asked if he was ok. He asked if he could go see Rosie. He wants John because...he's all he has as well.
●Mary smiling at John's reasoning to Sherlock is himself letting go, admitting he was a major cock himself.
●Mary teasing Sherlock about Irene is pretty much coming off as a surprise from John. His face says otherwise though for the most part.
●MAN, NO WAY I WAS THINKING OF IRENE WHEN JOHN GAVE THAT INTENSE SPEECH. WHY WAS SHERLOCK LOOKING AWAY? WHY WAS MARY AKA INNER JOHN LOOKING DOWN?
●Mary being silent while John is confessing. This is for John, for him to just admit it, wallow in it and let it go slowly. Telling himself to be better. For Mary and for Sherlock.
●This is what it is. These two are at their most vulnerable in front of each other like never before. This is another pivotal moment in their relationship.
●CAKE AND HATS
●SEX. THIS CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND IT'S STRANGE.
●First time watching this my head was reeling at this point. I'M SCARED AND EXCITED ON WHAT SHE WILL DO, WHAT SHE HAD DONE AND OMG.
●OK, CAN WE GO THROUGH THE FACT THAT JOHN HAD CHEATED ON MARY WITH SHERLOCK'S CRAZY SECRET SISTER? LIKE..IF IT COULD BE ANYBODY RIGHT? SHERLOCK'S SISTER.
Final Thoughts: This episode shot to my top 3. There was an urgency in this episode and so much more emotional than the rest. The way it was edited was ever amazing and had awe to it. I like where they take these characters (Mycroft and Smallwood better have a reason) and it tests them. Culverton was as evil as they said he would be. Eurus would be interesting to watch and I hope we'll see more of her though as well. Wonder what the connection between her and Smith and Moriarty would be. My boys, Sherlock and John are put through a test here to see how their relationship would hold and it did. It's not perfect and still needs to mend and heal a bit but it would always be about them. Now for the final epsiode of the season I'm gonna keep my expectations lowered and leveled. John and Sherlock have a chance to be something more and if that moment comes i don't want it to be fan service. But then again their foundation is already there for it to happen if it happens. Either way I'm still in love with this show so much.

Part 1: The Six Thatchers - my points & pictures
Alan Cumming introduced the premiere. I like what he says here about how Sherlock’s only friend is John. Aside from me having issues with making it seem like Sherlock is a loser and everyone hates him but one person, they decided to point this out.
Change that to John, though. I hate it when they call him Watson. Anyways… This goes with the fact that one of the main trailers/teasers for this series is Culverton Smith asking Sherlock “What’s the very worst thing you can do you your very best friends?” *cough* JOHN. And in the same trailer they edit it with Sherlock saying “I love you”. *cough* JOHN!! It’s just a little something that caught my eye.
Sherlock and Mycroft are sitting with the cabinet office trying to figure out what they’re going to do about Sherlock shooting and killing CAM. Mycroft talks about how there’s been a D notice attached to the case and the only ones that know the truth have code names. They are: Antarctica, Langdale, PORLOCK, and Love. Only they will ever know the whole truth. ALPL.
For fun. Antarctica. Arctic in Greek artikos means ‘bear; Ursa Major”. Its companion is Ursa Minor, the body and tail making the Big Dipper. All of this is needed to find Polaris, the North Star. When you’ve lost your way you should always look for the North Star. Let’s not forget Sherlock wanted to be a pirate and they rely on the stars to guide them home. There ya go ;)
Langdale. There’s a Langdale Valley in the Lake District in NE England. They offer glorious mountain views with famous jagged peaks that remind me of the location in Wales where they shot THoB. See, connection.
Porlock. It’s a village with old cottages and a beach with dead white trees. What once was a busy port is now a peaceful harbour for yachts and fishing boats. hmm.. It made me think of Johnlock, followed by love. Coincidence? I think not.
If there is something more to this I don’t know but please feel free to share what you can come up with. This bit was really meant to be a funny meta.
Sherlock is on a natural high. And he loves Gingernuts. !!!!
I LOVE THE WAY HE EATS IN THIS SCENE :D
They alter the footage to make it seem like an overeager shooter did it. Lady Smallwood says to Sherlock “you’re home and dry”(lack of WATER!) meaning that he doesn’t need an official pardon. This whole scene, albeit, hilarious, was very off. I want to see them actually leaving the tarmac.
LS: We brought you back to deal with this. What are you going to do?
Sherlock: Wait. …of course wait. I’m the target; targets wait.
Sherlock is narrating throughout the episode. He tells the story of the merchant who goes to Samarra. Death keeps finding him. He cannot outrun it. I haven’t quite put into words what I think about this story. There are already so many ideas floating around so I’ll leave it in better hands. What I can say is that Mycroft gave us more info about what it meant to Sherlock.
He wrote his own version of the merchant in Samarra. “The Merchant in Sumatra”. In this story the merchant goes to a different city and does not die. He becomes a pirate. Remember who else wanted to be a pirate? Sherlock.
John has 59 missed calls. How does one not check their phone when there’s that many missed calls? Obviously he was ignoring her. He simply was having too much fun with Sherlock. He was in his element, without a care in the world. Definitely not caring enough to check on his pregnant wife who is close to labor.
I can’t pass this up. Look at John. He looks just like daddy Holmes. That swoop, though.
Off they go! Lestrade, John, and Sherlock go to solve the case of Charles, the young man who died trying to surprise his parents by pretending to be a car seat. No, I am not making this up.
Sherlock says that he wanted to surprise his parents by hiding in the car. Then he must’ve had a seizure or fell ill and was unable to spring out. He was left there for a week until the car crash that caused the fire. They later found his remains. I get the feeling that this isn’t what really happened. If this is part of MP then Charlie’s case is not that simple. Perhaps it has to do with Sherlock’s past? Or Mycroft since the parents loved MT so much and they seemed to be more involved politically. Having a deep love for their government and that poor boy having to bear the suffering if he was hiding something.
Phone call. John: Got them. Don’t worry. Pampers, the cream, you can’t get from Boots. Mary: Yeah. Never mind about that. Where are you now, the dead boy’s house?
So Mary is all like “eh forget Rosie’s things. I don’t care about her. I’m more interested in this dead kid. Tell me more!” Calm down, Gabrielle (that’s her real name).
They continue to talk on the phone. Mary asks John what he’s going to title this case. John: Give the people what they want. Sherlock: No, never do that. People are stupid. Mary: Uh, some people. Sherlock: All people are stupid. Most people.
That’s right. Give us what we want. They know how we feel. I’d like to think that in a way this was them reaching out to us.
At the Welsborough residence. Sherlock notices a shrine on a table with pictures of PM Margaret Thatcher. Sherlock notices that there is a bust missing and starts to take interest. He doesn’t want to make it seem too obvious that he’s more interested in this than their kid so he asks questions about it. He pretended not to know who MT was. Ha. What a punk. Sure.
John: What’s so important about a broken bust of Margaret Thatcher? Sherlock: I can’t stand it, never can. There’s a loose thread in the world. John: Well it doesn’t mean you have to pull on it. Sherlock: What kind of a life would that be?
Sherlock goes to see Mycroft about the bust. In his office we see a lot of mirrors.
Sherlock is showing Mycroft a pic of Rosie. Mycroft: Why am I looking at this? Sherlock: That’s her. John and Mary’s baby. Mycroft: Oh, I see. Yes. Looks very…fully functioning.
Mycroft has no chill. Ha. I think it’s adorable that Sherlock has a picture of Rosie on his phone. Although, Sherlock can’t manage to say her name. “That’s her.” Could it be that he’s jealous? Sort of like when a girl is jealous of another girl and if she gets a little confrontational she’ll mention this other female by saying “ugh that girl” in this case hating her. I don’t think Sherlock hates her though. He’s just indifferent to the baby. But there was the most adorable scene with her. WATCH THIS AND BE HAPPY.<<<<
AJ. He’s one of the A in AGRA. We learn that he was held hostage and that they tortured him. They would keep yelling “ammo”. Mary makes a reference about it being for “ammunition” but the realty is that it is Latin for “love”. They kept torturing him with the word. Who else was tortured? Sherlock. “Love” being a code, a password, reminded me of the ‘I love you’ from the trailer.
221b. A client named Mr. Kingsley. John has a red balloon (smiling like he’s in love) as his replacement, a substitute while he was out with Mrs Hudson playing Sudoku. The red balloon also falls in place with the name Akako, which means “red”. Read more about her name analysis and how I believe John and Mr. Kingsley are mirrors here.
When John tells this, Sherlock seems almost hurt by the thought that he feels this way.
Sherlock: Don’t be so hard on yourself. You know I value your little contributions. John: Yeah? It’s been there since 9 this morning.
The dog. Sherlock loves dogs!! Yeeeee!!
Sherlock: “Keep up, he’s fast.” *Yeeeeah. No. John: “He’s not moving.” Sherlock: “He’s thinking. John: “He’s really not moving.” Sherlock: “Slow, but sure, John, not dissimilar to yourself.” John: “You just like this dog, don’t you?” Sherlock: “Well, I like you.” When I heard this I thought “just kiss him already!” Mary just stood there all awkward.
Then John and Mary are laying in bed trying to sleep but they’re up talking about the normal, sweet things their baby does… Mary says Rosie reminded her of the exorcist because there was projectile vomit. Then she says that she has a 666 on her forehead. John tells her that she just said her baby is the devil and the antichrist but she can’t be both. And Mary is just like >_> This was meant for Mary. She’s both? John is saying you can’t be both Satan and antichrist. But in her case, maybe they’re trying to tell us that she’s behind all this Moriarty ordeal. We’ve yet to see her connection revealed. And if she’s not dead then this is saying so much.
Basically, you have Satan who is a fallen angel, a spirit. Then the antichrist, someone who follows Satan. It’s someone who is against all that is good and opposes all the teachings of Christ. “It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah by presumptuously promising to achieve that which only Christ can do—bring about true peace and security.” (x)
Mary is trying to act like she’s holy and she is this great wife and mother. She wants John to believe her. She even says she’s always liked the name Mary. She’s simply trying to cover up who she really is. A wolf in sheep’s clothing.
More MT bust seaking. Now Sherlock is trying to catch AJ in the act. He goes to the next house with a MT bust. We see a dad and his daughter heading upstairs. Sherlock sneaks up by the indoor pool at 19:00. At 22:00 AJ comes along. They start getting into this big fight, breaking through the glass and falling into the pool.
TELL ME WHY THIS MAN RIGHT HERE IS SO HANDSOME? I AM NOT GOING TO SHY AWAY FROM THIS. HE WET. HE FINE. HE KNOW HE FINE, TOO! Ooooo!!!!!
This whole time I’m wondering if the dad is hearing this? Is he sleeping through this? Where did they go? Are they even real? Is this even really happening? Is this MP?
The way that Sherlock is drowning AJ in the pool, holding his head up to swallow the water. Like, calm down, babe. We get it ;)
My feelings so far are not as clear as I would want. This is only 1/3 and I know it’ll make more sense after we see the rest. I will say that part of me wonders if this whole time Sherlock is just in a trance, as if he is in his MP. At least through some of the scenes. There are so many things wrong. For example, when Sherlock is analyzing where they broke the first bust outside of the house, he says to John that he doesn’t like that there’s a loose thread in the world. And besides, he has a strange feeling about it. We see Sherlock see Moriarty saying “miss me?” in his head. Then Sherlock shakes it off and continues on. It’s odd. It’s not just a memory or flashback of M in those videos. He’s seeing it in his mind. He turns away kind of like he’s worried or a little frightened. Almost as if he is in two places but barely realizes it. Not yet.
Another example for MP is when he’s fighting AJ by the pool. Sherlock is convinced that he’s working for Moriarty and that the busts are part of his game. AJ: “You understand nothing.” Then he smashes the bust and realizes it’s an AGRA flash drive. THEN WE SEE A FLASHBACK OF JOHN SAYING WHAT HE SAID HLV: “The problems of your future are my privilege.” Come on, now. John, the BAMF.
They seem OOC, tbh. But we shall see. Please feel free to add your thoughts and help pass this along so we can survive this week.
to be cont…

More S3 fix it preview.
(With my dear ones @underestimatemethatwillbefun and @anotherwellkeptsecret both unwell I’m posting more of the fix it fic in hopes of cheering them up! I’m ball parking that this is the right spot, it’s just after the the Mycroft to the rescue flashback)
John did not look impressed, not at Sherlock’s miraculous return, not with Mycroft’s insistence that the plan go ahead as scheduled and Sherlock observed John’s pointedly ignoring the box digging into his leg as they arranged everything. Sherlock offered to be involved with the wedding as John was clearly not interested, he was refusing to acknowledge even the engagement ring. John had briefly held Sherlock in a fierce embrace before leaving to finish proposing to the woman who might kill him in his bed.
Sherlock was furious that Mycroft had involved John but after Mycroft’s explanation that he had only done as Sherlock himself had done and given John Watson a new war, he could only slowly nod agreement and collect his folder on “Mary Morstan" on his way out.
“His bringing her out of hiding may trigger her to act or she may disappear rather than risk exposure… Congratulations on your nuptials by the way John. My plan is to…” “Is irrelevant as Magnessen no doubt has you over a barrel in some way BrotherDear and I already have a plan. John, we need to reconcile you and Mary. Christmas at our parent’s place should do it, bring the flash drive I fabricated for you and your gun.” Sherlock swept out of the room with a knot in his chest, his own plan was a risk for himself and for John but they had to solve the Mary problem, John’s wife was the last thread of Moriarty’s web and he desperately wanted it snapped.
Mary will be informed that John’s actions protected you and you will return to Mary, confirm her husband’s bravery and I will be in contact soon having patched things up for the Watsons. Things seem to be moving things forward quite quickly for the marriage and I for one am curious to see how this will affect them.”

What kind of a doctor are you?
I know this question has been debated before in the fandom, regarding John Watson, the army doctor. He has always been the reliable medical doctor in every adaption of Sherlock Holmes as well as in the original stories. In BBC`s Sherlock he is described as a doctor with great skills, and every episode throughout the entire four seasons has some scene where his profession plays a part or is at least mentioned. Yet, its always a question of talking about it, not actually showing it. Its a TELL, DON`T SHOW narrative concerning John, which ends up a bit not good, IMO !
Let`s look at the different episodes. In ASIP it all starts with John having nightmares about the war and we see various soldiers getting shot at, but at no point does this dream scenario show us John doing surgery or taking care of the wounded, which would be a typical thing for an army doctor to have nightmares about. In this episode John himself confirms that he is a good doctor when Sherlock asks - very good, in fact ! We are TOLD but not SHOWN this fact. He does a bit of medical assessment over the body of the woman in pink, but nothing extraordinary, just the cause of death and not smelling any alcohol on her, which I think Sherlock himself could have figured out. In the next episode, TBB, he fails to recognize that Sherlock had been nearly strangled just a minute ago at the house of Soo Lin. Sherlock is wheezing and his voice is choked, but John merely asks if he suddenly has a cold. Not exactly in doctor mode, I guess. In TGG he doesn`t quite get the chance to do anything doctory, but in ASIB he takes Sherlock home to sleep it off after Irene drugs him, despite not at all knowing what she had given him and what kind of reactions it could cause. A responsible doctor would take him to hospital to run a blood test at the very least and keep him in observation overnight, especially considering Sherlock`s history with drugs. After all, Sherlock was delirious and babbling. But John leaves him in his bedroom after letting Lestrade film him for laughs - not quite what I expect from a great doctor. Further, in THOB, John fails to recognize that Sherlock was displaying clear symptoms of having been influenced by some sort of drug when he is sitting pale and trembling at the inn and admitting that he is badly frightened. And in TRF John doesn`t even try to revive Sherlock after the fall, having taken his pulse he just decides the man is dead. An army surgeon who specializes in severe injuries and trauma would immidiately kick into combat doctor mode and not stop until he is physically pulled away from his patient. Of course poor John was numb with shock, but still, where are his doctor reflexes?
In the first episode of season three, TEH, we see him working at his clinic doing medical examinations on one patient and handing a prescription to another, but its all rather vague. In TSOT however, he appearantly saves two men`s lives, first the guardsman then his friend Sholto, who are both severely injured. At least that`s what we are told. Sherlock himself tells us in his best man speech that he witnessed John saving the guardsman, and praises his doctor skills, but we do not see it actually happen, apart from John calling Sherlock his nurse and asking for his scarf. The scene stops there. Later, John declares himself to be Sholto`s doctor and walks into his room, but again the scene stops there, and we are later -indirectly- told that Sholto survived (”one nearly murder”). Again: TOLD but not SHOWN !
Then there is HLW. When John finds Sherlock unconscious in Magnussen`s office, he pats his cheek to wake him and starts calling for an ambulance. Whether he gives Sherlock any first aid while waiting is not shown. But when travelling in the ambulance, he sits passively by Sherlock`s gurney telling him “we are loosing you” but otherwise not doing anything to help in a medical way ! And later, when having his domestic with Mary in 221B he fails completely to realize what a terrible condition Sherlock was in ! I know he was distracted by the shock of learning the truth about his wife, but still ! Its as if his doctor instincts and skills shut down completely under stress. And that brings us to season four !
Taking all that happened there at face value, lets look at Mary`s rather ridiculous end ! Having treated lots of gun wounds before, John can only ineffectively put his hand over her wound and try to calm her, which even Mary calls him out on: “Come on doctor, you can do better !” So it seems quite fitting when Culverton Smith asks in TLD wether John is really, actually a medical doctor! And Sherlock poses the same question when John finally gets around to asking him if he`s all right. “Malnourished, double kidney failure and frankly been off my tits for weeks ! What kind of a doctor are you?” And in TFP he seems to drop the facade entirely, calling himself a soldier instead. Yet, Mycroft insists on calling him “Doctor Watson”....
Now I do realize that some of the plot doesn`t need specifically for John to be displaying his doctor skills, like in TBB when the boys were in a hurry and there was no time for John to do anything about Sherlock`s sore, nearly strangled throat anyway. So why bother talking doctorly about it? And its much more fun seeing Sherlock tripping around his bedroom in a daze than being laid up in hospital. And the drama plays out much better when John is reeling with shock from the death of his friend than doing CPR on him in a fruitless attempt to save him. Also we do not need to witness every medical procedure John had to perform on Sholto to ensure his survival. Still, a character has to be believable. John has failed to deliver convincingly as a skilled army doctor, even the writers must have realized this on some level, else they wouldn`t have the other characters point it out. And since season four has already questioned the motives and background of some of the characters - mrs. Hudson hinting that she is not what she seems and asking if Molly is the right person to be assessing people`s health to which John replies: “I don`t know, yeah I don`t know anything anymore!” and Mycroft not being quite the Ice Man after all, while Sherlock has to reconsider everything he thought he knew about himself and his past, it seems a good place to ask: Is John actually what he claims to be? Or is it all just smoke and mirrors, and wool over our eyes? Or maybe he is just - in the end - being human ?

Fic Master List
I thought it was time to update my fic master list, because I’ve added a few fics and also because I think I’m really going to need to do comissions (it seems I understimated how much graduating was going to cost. Why are there so many fees, honestly?)
So, without further ado, enjoy!
Long term complications of arranged marriages
Myjohnlock, complete, 78800 words.
I was very pump up to work on this series and I enjoyed every second of it.
John helps.
Some personal notes: this was a fill in of a tumblr prompt.
Also, this is my work with most kudos, so I guess it shows ;)
Additional notes: A/B/O dynamics, Mpreg, arranged marriage, angst, pining, misunderstandings, Jim being Jim (he’s the perfect fairytale villain, honestly)
I intend for it to have a happy/hopeful ending, though!
Some personal notes: this is the actual summary on AO3, but I really don’t know a better way to describe it ;) I think my attempt of humor did work here, even if it ended up including a bit of angst (but not much)
Additional notes: Alternate First Meeting, humor, Christmas fic, misunderstandings (of a sort), family.
Mystrade & Johnlock, WIP.
Summary: Sherlock may or may not be stalking the boy he likes. Mycroft has no wisdom to share with his little brother on the subject of romance and Greg is not help at all.
Some personal notes: I got inspired to write this after listening to a song in spanish called “Rey Azul”. I’ve always wanted to write a teenlock and I adore writing the Holmes brothers as being completely oblivious on the subject of romance. Somehow, it turned angstier than I expected
Additional notes: humor (at first), teenlock, heartbreak, jealousy, pining.
WIP.
Summary: Jim shoots himself at Bart’s ceiling and Sherlock jumps to save the people he loves (read John Watson); what he doesn’t know it’s that there are other forces at play and revenge is a dish best served cold. Jim’s game turn has ended, but Eurus’ is just beginning.
Saving all my love for you
Johnlock, WIP.
Summary: Unrequited love is no fun.
Some personal notes: I just wanted to write something angsty, heart tugging. There isn’t much plot, really, just a lot of pining and self reflection.
Additional notes: based on the song by the same title, angst, pining, sad, unilock.
And that’s it (for now!) I hope you’ll enjoy them ;)

Fic Master List.
So... I thought I would do a little self rec, because I joined the Fandom Trumps Hate auction and I thought it might help to have a bit of a Master List, so you guys have a more organized view of my works, in case you decide to bid for a commissioned work of mine ;)
Without further ado, enjoy?
Long term complications of arranged marriages
Myjohnlock, complete, 78800 words.
I was very pump up to work on this series and I enjoyed every second of it.
John helps.
Some personal notes: this was a fill in of a tumblr prompt.
Also, this is my work with most kudos, so I guess it shows ;)
Additional notes: A/B/O dynamics, Mpreg, arranged marriage, angst, pining, misunderstandings, Jim being Jim (he’s the perfect fairytale villain, honestly)
Hopeless
Johnlock, WIP (almost finished)
I intend for it to have a happy/hopeful ending, though!
Some personal notes: this is the actual summary on AO3, but I really don’t know a better way to describe it ;) I think my attempt of humor did work here, even if it ended up including a bit of angst (but not much)
Additional notes: Alternate First Meeting, humor, Christmas fic, misunderstandings (of a sort), family.
And that’s it! Boy, have I written a lot! Over 300,000 words (just counting the finished ones)!
As I said, it’s been a blast to get to share all of this with you guys and I hope to continue writing many more fics, although I’ll admit right now I don’t have a particular idea in mind (although there are always the sequels for “Long terms complications of arranged marriages” and “Long shot”, but we’ll see about those). If you’d be as nice to reblog to share with your own followers, I’d be must thankful ;)
