Pros & cons of poor little rich boy Aizawa headcanon:

strengthens pillow princess theory (he grew up with SERVANTS, okay?)

explains why he can't cook and always eats jelly packets (and then he was too depressed to care after Oboro)

provides a whole new set of tropes as to how he ends up so angsty (rich, uninterested parents who only wanted a doll of political purposes)

new possibilities for disinterest in/lack of friends (distrust stemming from other kids only playing with him because their parents said to befriend the rich kid with powerful parents)

the disheveled look developing as teen rebellion (especially the long hair which) because his parents hated him looking 'lesser'

the janitorial hero suit because mama used to say "if you don't eat your broccoli/do you homework/go to this gala we'll disown you and you'll end up as a janitor" after he realized he'd never win his parent's approval so he stopped trying

becoming a hero in the first place because he wants to save others the kind of pain he experienced when it was time to go home

once, when he was 8, he ran away from home (his parents didn't notice of course) and he found a feral cat colony except he had snacks in his pockets because of course he grabbed snacks so he spent a wonderful 30 minutes with cats crawling all over him and it was the first time in years he could remember the warmth of another living body after his nanny was fired when he accidentally called her mom

Thought of something kinda fucked up about trans Shigaraki cause I wanna talk about gender so bad it's an interesting topic for me. I DONT MEAN THIS IN A LIKE TERRIBLE WAY I mean this in a character growth way? Level with me I'm not being weird or any sort of phobic please.

What if All for one gaslit Shigaraki about his gender?

Since he created him from the start he manipulated his life into something he could control but he had no control over Shigaraki being born a female and looking exactly like Nana down to her black hair and mole and this fucking scared him lol.

All For One, seeing Shigaraki's resemblance to Nana Shimura, so once he gets his hands on him he convinces Shigaraki that being male is essential to their success and power. This manipulation helps All For One control Shigaraki's identity and distance him from his Nana further never even giving him the chance, the only chance he had was when his sister showed him the picture but at that point Hana and Tenko were sisters

All For One could instilled in Shigaraki from a young age the belief that men are inherently superior in strength and capability, manipulating Shigaraki's perception of gender roles which is really fucked up but I'll get to a point later where this is better

All For One's teachings could be reinforced by traumatic experiences, such as punishing Shigaraki for any behavior or appearance that he deems "feminine," further cementing the idea that being male is safer and more powerful. All For One pushing him to suppress any and all femininity, cause kids dont know anything about gender, a little kid will pick up and play with anything, a doll or a toy car kids only see people. So AFO makes him associate being "female" with weakness and failure. And we cant have that if we wanna destroy the world can we?

This whole situation creates a rich vein of internal conflict, leading to moments of self-doubt, body dysphoria, ect of the sort. PROBABLY SELF HARM? Not just the scratching my poor child *hugs Shig*

Now, Shigaraki gets with the league, AFO isn't here after Kamino incident to power on these things though its ingrained in his brain. The league is the safe haven that allows Shigaraki to explore his gender, Magne,Toga,Dabi girls and boys working in the same team and neither of them are more or less important then the other. Kurogiri took care of Shig and having Oboro as a base made Kurogiri not wanna make Shigaraki do these things cause Oboro is an alley as much as Mic and Aizawa are and he took that with him in the Nomu-afactation process, he never enjoyed forcing Shigaraki to present as Male and is now given the opportunity to let Shigaraki be whatever he wants, hes not going to stop him, he'll encourage him cause he is the safe parent.

Shigaraki getting ok with himself presenting as Male or Non binary, Magne telling him where he could get top surgery if he wants it , Himiko sharing her gender story with him. Dabi telling Shigaraki women can kick just as much ass as a dude maybe even more, look at Mirko lol

the league just being supportive HAPPY FAMILY :) a very safe place for Shigaraki

And since we are ShigaHaul, Overhaul body worshiping Shigaraki durning spicy times. Kissing his chest (breast or chest scars depending which route we take) Overhaul servicing Shigaraki the first time they ever do it and telling him everything he needs to/should hear. Shigaraki is crying the whole time from pleasure and the conformation. Maybe, I peg Shigaraki as having a lot of pent up emotionalness so when he starts crying he can't stop himself.

No need to be sorry, I think there always needs to be a space to explore gender in all the ways it might happen, while I agree this route is a bit dark I love the way it ends on a positive trans-affirming note!! Also, fiction is a really good place to make up scenarios on how certain experiences could go, cause what you described here might as well be an allegory for what trans people can feel like in a society that constantly tries to tell them they are wrong or less for being who they are (especially for women, cis or trans)

But getting into the scenario, I can see AFO doing that, weaponizing gender for his own selfish goals and needs is just something a master manipulator would do. This leads to Shigaraki always feeling like he's lacking both as a vessel and as a man, we could even look at his fight with Star and Stripe with new eyes having this scenario in mind, cause he wants to be perfect so bad, he wants to hold AFO and be the best, but he might see as him proving that he is a man, that he finally achieve what his sensei wanted for him.

And thinking about him existing without AFO and getting closer to the LOV could be a really transformative experience for him because it shatters the view he built (or rather it was built for him) of gender and what gender roles look like. I think this could end with him being non-binary because he just feels like he is never gonna be one or the other and would rather exist in the in-between. He gets top surgery cause his breasts were always a point of discomfort and dysphoria, and is relieved to realize he actually feels good without them.

SHIGAHAUL IN THE AREAAAA this got me thinking of service top overhaul.... he would adore tomura's body during sex and aftercare, he takes his time worshipping every inch of it, and i agree with you that shigaraki is not a crier by any means but when it happens it takes hours to fully stop!!

ALRIGHT I'M THE ANON WHO SENT THE STRIPPER AU SO IM DUMPING ANOTHER AU THAT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ONTO YOU (don't ask where it came from lmao)

Basically, quirkless Izuku gets a vibe check early in life when he realizes that his mom is really struggling to survive after his father walked out (no I'm not projecting onto him shut up-). Through middle school he slowly comes to the realization that capitalism sucks actually, especially when you are or are related to someone quirkless.

The sludge villain incident happens relatively as normal, only this time after rescuing Katsuki he fucking snaps at the pro heroes on the scene, then goes home without running into All Might. He does a bunch of research on pro hero scandals, losing that hero fanboy mindset as he goes along, but also does research into vigilantism and pre quirk media, discovering an ancient European pre quirk tale about a figure who robbed the rich and gave it back to the poor and needy.

Now he's on the streets as the vigilante "Robin Hood" who robs corrupt heroes and politicians and then uses that money to preventatively stop crime (donating to homeless shelters, giving it to various community centers for addict recovery programs, etc; he'd also stop any crime he happened to come by on the way to and from heists). He may or may not collect various other teenagers in his band of Merry Men all while Izuku dodges around telling Katsuki what he actually does all day (yes Kaachan's the Maid Marian stand in fight me).

TLDR; Quirkless Izuku becomes the vigilante "Robin Hood" thanks for coming to my TED talk-

quirkless + vigilante midoriya who gave up on the hero system IS my fave trope, i’m not even joking. and this au??? this is just godtier!!

i have a thing for midoriya snapping at the heroes during the sludge villain incident. to set up the mood, i’d like to just unpack that scene for a bit.

ok sure there are many things that probably happened behind the scenes during that incident, such as them calling for more equipped reinforcements to take down the villain, but i think that they should have also done more for bakugou. like at least buy time to ensure he wouldn’t suffocate or, idk, strike a deal with the the sludge villain because their priority shouldn’t have been apprehending him but should have been saving bakugou. so imagine midoriya thinking the same thing i did. the torch he carried for heroes have dwindled over time and this was the breaking point.

imagine him growing up, accepting that sometimes the society just turns its back on you because you’re quirkless. imagine him thinking that there are certain thresholds only the quirked individuals would ever get to cross. imagine him thinking that being a hero really is only for bakugou and not for him. then-

then midoriya sees this powerful and strong individual who he kept looking up to at the hands of the same villain who also almost killed him, choking and panicking because the heroes are not doing anything. he thought that heroes only do nothing when you’re quirkless, but apparently they also do nothing to people like bakugou. bakugou who has a perfect quirk and a smart mind and who’s so so young. bakugou who the heroes aren’t even helping.

and midoriya snaps. he snaps because heroes do nothing to everyone. he thought he was the anomaly because of his pinky toe and everything, but no. the hero system is just fucked up. so as he ran towards bakugou and hurled his bag on the eyes of the villain, he thinks the hero system failed us but i will not. and he thinks i will not be a hero because i do not want to be like them. and he thinks i am here.

and so he saves bakugou and the heroes berate him for-? for what? for doing their jobs? he laughs maniacally and goes off. he spills his anger, spills the way it took a puny, quirkless middle school boy to save the day, and people are watching. people are watching the way he is screaming and opening his heart and pouring and pouring everything he never would have said, and the heroes are silent. they are silent as they listened. all of the them were.

people filmed this exchange, posted the videos they took online and then even more people listened to him. and midoriya sees this huge response and support; he sees the way people agreed with him so it helped him push his plans forward.

and so he does many many research and opens up several cases against slimy heroes and billionaires, and boom, he’s japan’s robin hood.

OK BUT we can’t have vigilante midoriya without dadzawa. LOVE ME SOME DADZAWA. and maybe parental tsukauchi because i love these two just trying to help this little vigilante who is too angry at the world who failed him, but never fighting the world back. they care for their little vigilante who shouldn’t be awake at the crack of dawn, busting out villain groups upon villain groups on his own. they care for their little vigilante who is becoming too popular.

so popular that even villains are looking for him. and maybe there would be an altercation between the LoV and midoriya, and who else would save him if not for dadzawa (and tsukauchi)?

also i’d like to imagine that bakugou too was moved by midoriya’s explosion of a speech. he’s taken aback and goes “huh, he’s right.” so he tries bridging their relationship back and midoriya always loved his friend so he accepts AS LONG AS bakugou does not cross him. because even if the hero system failed midoriya, as long as bakugou, who’s willing to change, still wants to become a hero, then there is hope in changing the hero system from the inside. to reshape it to how it should be.

and so bakugou enters UA and is more open (he’s in therapy) to everyone compared to canon (although not as much, still), and almost has a heart attack when aizawa pulled him aside one day, in the middle of the term, and asked if he knew who robin hood is. of course bakugou’s a master liar so he says no but aizawa is squinting his eyes at him.

also imagine: midoriya recruiting shinsou (they’re apparently from the same help group and they met up one night when midoriya saved shinsou from middle school bullies who cornered him and berated him even if he’s already in UA) and bakugou accidentally recruiting hatsume because she saw that someone changed some of his hero gear and she wanted to meet the smart genius who did it (it’s midoriya).

so midoriya’s circle grew from bakugou to now with the addition of aizawa, tsukauchi, hatsume, and shinsou.

(it probably would expand more because midoriya would stumble on this juicy information about the number 02 hero, endeavour but that’s for next time!)

Hitoshi didn’t really give a flying fuck about what others thought, mainly because most of the time people didn’t even want to be around him because of his “villain quirk”

But just because he didn’t care what they thought about him, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t fuck somebody up if they messed with you

Shinsou is a quiet guy for the most part, but he was super perceptive

So when he heard that the little ballsack haired toddler from class 1-A was spreading rumors about you, he was angry

You had no problem explaining to people about your home country of South Africa, especially if they asked nicely

But one day when you were walking past Class 1-A when school had just ended, intent on meeting your boyfriend outside to go walk to the park together, you heard Mineta spewing shit about you and South Africa

“Yeah they’re a bunch of savages over there! They literally hunt for food with spears and everyone is poor and they use goats as money.” Mineta said

You stood by the door to see what they were going to say before you chimed in and told them what South Africa was actually like.

“Mineta that’s literally cap and you know it.” Kaminari chimed in with a roll of his eyes. 

He had been spending so much time around you and Shinsou that he started even using your slang unconsciously.

It made you smile a bit.

“Kaminari you’re dumb as rocks. How would you know?” Mineta defended himself.

“Anyways, apparently because they’re so poor they steal a lot too. Maybe that’s why my jacket went missing after I was around (y/n)...Like I said they’re a bunch of savages, she probably doesn’t know any better.” 

Now it was time for you to chime in. 

“Why the fuck would I want your ratty ass jacket anyway? I don’t steal and that’s not what South Africa is like. Denki knows because I told him about it. I’m not poor, I just don’t flaunt my wealth, and if you really want to know I could buy your entire family with my own net worth.” You remarked, crossing your arms over your chest with a huff.

Bakugou sat in the corner watching the whole exchange with a small smirk on his face...he enjoyed confrontation too much.

“Oh and we do have supermarkets where we buy our food from.” You add as an after thought. “If you wanted to know about South Africa, you should’ve just asked like a normal person instead of spewing shit. Have a nice day.” You left the classroom after that a smile growing on your face as you heard Kaminari and Kirishima scold Mineta for talking shit behind your back.

Yeah...that was the last time he did that because after Shinsou heard what happened he found Mineta the next day and threatened him so bad he peed his diaper.

Tamaki was a pretty reserved guy and when you two began dating it surprised mostly everyone because you two were so different

Honestly, Tamaki literally looked at you like a goddess and it annoyed him when people were just plain ignorant

Usually when he was annoyed he would rant to you about it or Mirio or Nejire, and then he would go sit in a corner blushing about how he feared he was oversharing

You had been a transfer into the class when they were second years after your father decided to expand his international company to Japan, meaning you had to leave your home in South Africa

You were upset at first but you quickly made friends with the Big Three and Leonardo Subarashi, who was also from South Africa. 

So it came as a surprise when one of your friends, Tsuki Vinsmoke started talking shit about your homeland even when two of her friends were from there

“They literally live in huts with dirt floors. Maybe that’s why they’re so dirty and poor.” Tsuki laughed with two of her bitch friends, standing right near you

You turned to look at her with a frown on your face, practically daring her to say something else.

“I don’t even know how those two got here. They don’t even have phone service over there.”

“Hey (y/n)?” She said a little louder, as you turned around again, placing your pencil down and momentarily ignoring your school work.

“What Tsuki?”

“Why don’t you wear African clothes? Like those weird scarves and cloths or whatever? Are you ashamed that you came from dirt poor people? I would be.” Tsuki wore a nasty smile on her face as her eyes seemed to sparkle with malice.

“There’s no such thing as African clothes Tsuki. People wear the same clothes here that they do in South Africa...why would I be ashamed of such a culturally rich homeland? I’m proud to be South African, and besides I’d suggest you do some research before you start talking to me about being poor, especially since I’m way richer than you.” You gave a fake sincere smile before glancing over at Tamaki and your friends who gave you a thumbs up as if to say Destroy her.

So you did...in the end you got sent to Principal Nezu’s office after you made her cry and she lied to your teacher saying you had threatened her life like a dirty savage

Tamaki had to hold you back with some help from Mirio before you decked her

Nezu didn’t really care and gave you a donut from the order that had been in his office before sending you back to class

Needless to say, Tsuki got suspended for being racist and perpetuating a hateful environment in the classroom and nobody else messed with you, not even her little friends who sucked up to you after Tsuki went on suspension.

Why would anyone even bother saying stupid shit about you when you were just as hot headed as your explosive boyfriend? I don’t know, but they did

Of course everyone from class 1-A was smart enough not to start anything, but it seems Monoma wasn’t as smart

The annoying overly entitled blonde from class 1-B, had started out by asking you simple questions about your homeland, things like:

“What’s it like there?”, “Is it always sunny?”, “Have you seen a rhino or lion before?”

Then they started getting kind of ignorant and annoying.

“Hey (y/n)? Can you speak African?”

“No Monoma because Africa is a continent made up of many countries, each with their own languages.” You explained, wasn’t he supposed to be smart? “What are you doing Monoma?” You asked, with a raised eyebrow as he started to make strange noises at you.

“Shit for Brains, leave us the fuck alone.” Bakugou grumbled from beside you after he finished chewing his food. 

“It’s you language right? Can you understand what I said?”

“No dumbfuck. You sounded like a dolphin.” You remarked as a few of your friends laughed lightly. 

“I’m surprised you understand...I heard your people aren’t very smart...you know products of their environment, it’s unfortunate really. I’m sorry that you lived in such poverty, but you should consider yourself lucky, now you get to live in dorms and sleep in a real bed and not on a dirt floor.” Monoma went on and on and you were growing increasingly annoyed as you friends sat there in shocked silence.

“You know what Monoma?” You said with a fake smile as you spun around. “I’ve never met anyone as ignorant and stupid as you. I’m not poor and I never was, I slept in a real bed with an actually comfortable mattress unlike the ones here, and I much smarter than you ever will be I speak five fucking languages and I can understand more than that in others. Would you like me to tell you to fuck off in another language since you can’t seem to understand Japanese?” You asked as you raised your eyebrows with your arms crossed over your chest, as if waiting for his answer. 

He stayed silent. 

“That’s what I thought. Maybe you are smart after all?” You added teasingly, watching him be dragged back to his table by Kendo.

Shota Aizawa never really had many friends, usually more laidback than others were comfortable with, but the ones he did have were the complete opposites of him

Hizashi and Shirakumo were loud pranksters, while you and Midnight were talkative and enjoyed messing with him.

Most of the time he ignored the pigheaded bully that was Sensoji, because he usually only picked on Shota, but when Sensoji realized that you were Aizawa’s real weakness, he started to hound you.

And Shota was NOT having that

It all came to a head after he battled against Shota during a training session.

“Your useless just like your quirk Aizawa.” Sensoji sneered at your boyfriend, glaring down at him. 

“Your nothing but a waste of space.” Sensoji added seeing the way that his insults didn’t really phase Shota.

“Hey leave him alone! What is wrong with you!” You intervened pushing the broad shouldered boy away from Shota.

“What are you that weak that you need your little safari ass backwoods girlfriend to save your ass?” Sensoji laughed along with one of his equally stupid Class 1-B classmates.

“Don’t fucking talk about her!” Shota yelled back, his eyes glowing as if it was a warning.

“Or what? It’s not like she’ll understand? People like her back in her country of Africa are stupid as fuck. They build their homes out of oversized tin cans and they don’t even have phones.” 

“Sensoji you’re the stupid one! Africa is... A CONTINENT NOT A COUNTRY!” Hizashi jumped in, activating his quirk halfway through his sentence.

“And they don’t live in tin cans.” Midnight added.

“I live in a nice home, one that’s probably bigger than yours. Just admit that you’re jealous of Shota and me and move on!” You pressed your finger into his chest on each word, glaring at him as if to say say something else and see what happens.

“Grow up!” Shota and Shirakumo added before Sensoji rushed away when he saw the teachers coming over to see what you all were arguing about.

“Yeah that’s what I thought! Run away like a little bitch!” You added with a growing smile.

“Language (y/n)!” Your teacher scolded, but even that couldn’t bring down your smile as you, your boyfriend, and your friends laughed about the incident.

You all still even joked about it years later.

Wait you can’t just say that and not tell us what fuck up some teacher did to Katsuki in the Katsuki shimura au. Give us the angst and the unholy hell tenko releases

Katsuki accidentally bumped in to a kid in the gen ed course, it should’ve been a total non-issue, but the kid was a total spoiled rich kid who already had a bone to pick with Katsuki just ‘cause of the sports festival & Katsuki’s general disposition. The guy escalated things, demanding an apology that Katsuki obviously wouldn’t give, and Katsuki left after insulting the guy thinking that would be the end of it.

Only, it wasn’t. The guy was so pissed off about it that he got a couple other guys together and waited until Katsuki was on his way back to the international dorms on his own. They tried to corner him and pick a fight, but Katsuki fought back & won fairly easily, since, ya’know, they’re gen kids who’ve never been in a real fight in their lives. He didn’t seriously hurt anyone, but the kid was desperate to ‘win’ so he purposefully had one of the other guys escalate his injuries (broke one of his arms). Then all of them went crying to their homeroom teacher about it.

They basically straight up lied, saying that Katsuki had made a big deal out of what happened in the hallway, and that the guy had approached him after school with his friends to try to resolve the situation on good terms. According to them, Katsuki responded incredibly violently and laughed about it afterwards.

Since the guy didn’t have any (known) track record of lying / picking fights, and Katsuki had a reputation for ‘violence’ (plus the kids did have some burn marks / evidence of getting into a fight), so their teacher believed them completely. The teacher then made a huge fuss about it to Cementtoss (who, according to my HC was one of the ones who chained Katsuki up during the sports festival), who the teacher was close with, and Cementtoss also took her side. Recovery Girl treated the injuries, and she was actually suspicious of them, since the burns were all quite light, and the bone break was the only serious injury among them. She also knows Katsuki’s track record, and has never had a student sent in by him before, since Katsuki has excellent quirk control.

Things escalated quickly, Aizawa was busy with training Shinsou for a large part of the process, and All-Might was usually kept uninvolved with Katsuki related stuff (due to not knowing how to handle Tomura), and by the time Aizawa was looped in, most of the ‘investigation’ was already complete. The other teachers had already questioned Katsuki, extremely hostility. Cementtoss was the primary one questioning him, which made things even worse since Katsuki was still struggling with flashbacks to the sports festival.

All in all, Katsuki barely defended himself because he had no idea what was going on, and he was basically in a panic attack through most of it. The teachers involved took this as ‘confirmation’, and when Aizawa tried to figure out what the hell was going on, he was told that Katsuki had ‘admitted to it’. None of this really added up for Aizawa, but the other teachers were very insistent and had what appeared to be an overwhelming amount of evidence, so he reluctantly agreed to a punishment without speaking to Katsuki himself.

The gen ed kid’s homeroom teacher had wanted Katsuki expelled, but Aizawa did push back on that, opting for 2 week house arrest instead (it would usually be a full suspension at this level of severity and since Katsuki wasn’t an international student, but Aizawa absolutely refused to force Katsuki to be around villains for 2 weeks). Aizawa delivered the punishment to Katsuki, and again, something felt off about the entire situation, but Katsuki accepted it without any pushback (since by this point, he’s in a full tailspin, convinced this is the sports festival all over again, and if he does anything but agree then they’re going to chain him up + muzzle him again, and he really can’t handle that).

Katsuki goes back to his dorm that night and basically has an awful mental breakdown. He was straight up gaslit about what happened, because he was sure he didn’t do any serious damage and he definitely didn’t start the fight, but the teachers pushed onto him that he did and decided he was at fault anyways.

The next day, Class 1-A obviously notices that Katsuki wasn’t there, and they were told a rough version of what happened. Izuku absolutely refused to believe it though, since he’s fought Katsuki plenty of times, and he knows damn well that Katsuki would never break a bone or do serious damage to someone like that. The rest of class 1-A is skeptical, but Aizawa shuts down any debate about it, as he’s still not entirely sure of the situation himself. Izuku does some more investigating, and quickly discovers the entire thing is bullshit. Reocvery Girl’s reports confirm it for him, because the way the bone broke doesn’t make any sense for an explosion attack, and the position of the break doesn’t add up for someone who’d been actively fighting/defending themselves.

Now up until this point, Izuku has had.... very limited contact with Tomura. What with him being All-Might’s successor and all, he and Tomura do not get along. Even a little bit. But, Tomura swore of trying to hurt / kill Izuku for Katsuki’s sake, and even Izuku has to admit that Tomura has been a good guardian for Katsuki so far. 

Izuku wouldn’t have even considered it if he wasn’t absolutely furious at UA for believing the bullshit he’s hearing, but oh boy, he was super fucking done with them putting Katsuki through this. He does at least try to talk to Katsuki about it first, but all he confirms is that Katsuki is in an awful state of mind right now & that Katsuki definitely didn’t do it.

Enraged, he gets Tomura’s number from All-Might (whose easily convinced, if confused/concerned) and he tells Tomura everything. That Katsuki got accused, and that he didn’t do it, but also about who questioned him, why Katsuki probably wouldn’t have defended himself against them, and about Katsuki’s current poor mental state.

Tomura listens to all of this, a 20 minute or so rant, and then calmly thanks Izuku for letting him know, promising that he’ll handle it. His tone is soft and deadly, and Izuku is kinda worried he might kill someone, but honestly with how pissed off Izuku is, he’s not sure if he cares anymore.

After that, Tomura breaks two of the few unspoken rules he’d had with UA. Up until then, he never had Kurogiri teleport onto their campus after USJ. He also never took Katsuki outside of scheduled visits. That night, he does both, quietly going and getting Katsuki from his room and bringing him back home.

It takes awhile, but between Tomura & Kurogiri, they’re able to coax the whole story out of Katsuki from his side of things, and it becomes very obvious what happened. Tomura comforts him, waits until he’s kinda okay, and then goes and collects what he needs.

After that, Tomura has Kurogiri straight up teleport him into Aizawa office, where he then proceeds to completely tear apart the accusations, and call Aizawa out for having not properly investigated the situation. He does it all in calm, collected, vicious manner that is completely unlike his usual villain demeanor and is a million times scarier as a result. 

As Tomura discovered with a bit of searching, there was video footage of the area (because it’s UA, and there’s video footage of everywhere) that completely disproves the Gen Ed’s kid lie, but was conveniently overlooked in the investigation. Once it’s clearly established that Katsuki only ever defended himself, Tomura then starts in on how the entire thing was handled, and it’s quite awhile before he’s finished.

By the end of things, Aizawa is genuinely shaken over how much he fucked up in this situation, he apologizes and sets about fixing things. The other kid involved gets expelled for having attempted to assault another student and then faking an injury & lying about it. There’s various punishments handed out to the teachers who were involved in the situation and mishandled it, and Aizawa apologizes to Katsuki personally when he gets back. Aizawa also instates a straight up blanket rule that Katsuki cannot be questioned/punished/etc unless Aizawa is there and leading the process. No exceptions. He’s done with this bullshit happening whenever he was busy with something else. He holds to that too.

Although, it’s worth noting that Katsuki doesn’t come back right away. It’s two days before Katsuki comes back to UA, because Tomura insisted on him taking time to recover first and debated him staying there at all. In the end, Katsuki decided he wants to give it one more go, mostly because Izuku and his friends are still there, and Tomura relents even though he doesn’t like it. Eventually though, Katsuki does get back, and things settle down for the most part.

Sleeping was a privilege. Shouta knew that. He remembered it every day of his miserable life, and he liked having times where he could just relax. Like today. The room was hot, contrasting heavily with the snow dancing outside the window in the morning's soft white light. He liked his days off, but he liked them more when you were in bed with him. 

Shouta was not very expressive in general but has you were also a teacher in U. A Academy, but working as year three teacher, you usually met only during dinner and after classes then walked back home together. Though you had your weekends off at the same time, he was working as a hero during the nights, and you were usually called to the nearest hospital to help the heroes rushed there. When both of you were not occupied hero-ing, you were grading papers. 

Quality time was hard to get when people were heroes, but most of them were not teachers at the same time. Maybe that was why teachers did not get the respect they deserved, people are not teachers in general anyway. You once said that being a teacher was like being a private hero for the young you taught. Because there were children from every aspect of life, rich and poor, from good and bad families. You could save people only by talking, and that's what you liked doing -protecting people. Being a literature teacher helped with that because the essays your students were writing often helped get them the help they needed if that was the case. But today was not for that. 

The night before, Shouta came home late, and you were already sleeping when he came to bed, which didn't bother him. But this morning, even if it was a bit late, you were nowhere to be seen. No sound was coming from the kitchen, and no music was playing from the living room. 'Maybe she went out…' Shouta thought to himself. But he knew better. You were probably grading the last paper of this semester to enjoy the rest of your two weeks of Christmas. That's what you always did. 

You would not last the year, as you were six months pregnant now. Your due date was near the end of March, and Shouta hoped to convince you to leave school and hero-ing before February started. But for the moment he let you do whatever you liked. After all, he wasn't the one bearing the child, and if you thought you could do it, who was he to tell you otherwise? 

Shouta pushed the covers off him and posed his feet on the ground, imminently regretting it as a shiver ran through his spine. Barefoot, he walked out of the room, though he did not forget to wear a blanket to keep his body warm. 

He was right. You were grading papers... well, reading them more than anything else. You were stuck in whatever world the students wrote about in their writing. So Shouta walked behind you, carefully wrapping his arms around your shoulders, reading the paper in your hand too. The question for their essay had been: ' Why is it important for you to become a hero?' His head went on top of yours, and you jumped a little. 

''Shou-kun!'' you exclaimed, surprised. 

Shouta looked at your eyes, but soon let them fall to the tip of your nose. Even if you'd been married for the past two years (and dating for five more), he still had difficulties having glaring match with you. ''Hmm. Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you...'' he closed his eyes as they dropped to your lips. 

Was it normal that they seemed fuller than usual? Maybe it was the hormones, he read somewhere that pregnant women often had an aura of the sort. Perhaps that was it. Shouta was not one to express himself with action or words. He usually did not express himself at all. But he let the feelings he was having dictate his actions and kissed your lips. 

''How are you feeling?'' He asked without commenting on the bewilderment on your face, posing a hand on your round belly. The little boy inside of you, his boy, kicked just under his hand, and Shouta smiled. He was already smitten. 

''I feel tired, but I couldn't sleep more after eight...'' You had trouble sleeping since your fourth month—something to do with sleeping on your back or sides all the time. Shouta grunted in apprehension. 

''Why are you grading today?'' He asked, nuzzling into your neck. 

That was not like him at all. He never acted like that before. Well... yes, he did before, and that was why you were pregnant right now, but that wasn't the reason. ''We could take it slow today, order food and watch TV. What do you think?'' You hummed. 

Shouta continued, ''we could cuddle all day and tomorrow, I'll help you grade those papers of yours.'' Your eyes lighted up at his words. 

''Promise?'' The smile in your voice made him smile.

''I swear on my life. Now come on, come back to bed.''

First impression: “does everyone have to be mean to izuku??? is this some kind of law???” basically i hated him. Impression now: “precious and treasured friend, izuku’s bestie, autism buddy, my darling child” basically i love him. Favorite moment: “are you saying i’m not even a threat to you?!” tenya, child, that is an adult serial killer and you are fifteen / BUT ALSO “we’re friends right?” when he turns izuku’s words back on him during the overhaul arc because he owes a friendship debt. Idea for a story: an exploration of what i was like for him to grow engines. did that happen in the womb? obviously mom anticipated a machine quirk. what did she eat to facilitate that? or perhaps he was normal until four and then developed engines. did he start eating coins to get enough metal? i’m very curious about how a human body ingests enough metal to grow an engine. Unpopular opinion: his situation with his brother is actually really sad. they were born 15 years apart. tensei is old enough to be tenya’s father, if you assume some unfortunate circumstances. they didn’t really get to be siblings, and tenya clearly hero worshipped his brother so tensei was more like a caregiver than a companion. and then tensei, having very little real relationship with tenya, just dropped his whole legacy on tenya’s shoulders. with no thought for how that might effect tenya or what he might do as a result. like their whole relationship screams dysfunction to me. Unpopular opinion: APPARENTLY this is unpopular due to bakugou’s popularity but SHE SHOULD HAVE FUCKING WON AT THE SPORTS FEST! BAKUGOU BEATING HER WAS A COMPLETE ASS-PULL, PLOT ARMOR AND NOTHING MORE! SHE SHOULD HAVE WON! OC Master List

Obviously if you’ve followed me for any length of time you will know that I have a really nasty habit of making characters of my own design. I love to be creative and make my own realities through this medium. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do. I’ve wanted to make this for a while because my friends sometimes get confused as to which OC that I’m talking about so this is the master list for everybody. 

My Hero Academia: If I have any fandom where most of my OCs go it’s into the MHA fandom. I have currently five OCs in this show so let’s talk about them one by one. 

Mitsuki Haruka: My first OC that I truly ever created and invented with the knowledge of doing it. Mitsu has a really special place in my heart because she was the first and the one that I work for the most in this fandom usually. Her comfort character is Katara from Avatar The Last Airbender. Her quirk is water. She can pretty much do anything with water. She can heat it, freeze it, glide around on it, whip it out of her and use something that I stole from Fairy Tail called waterlock where she locks a person inside of a body of water. Her canon partner is Tenya Iida my favorite square boi. I often talk about her with her adopted brother and my amazing friend @bio-hazard0us OC Kaku. 

Violet Katsuragi: Violet is one that I don’t really talk about in great detail a whole lot because every time I try to I cry. Her family is a massive shit show and I always feel so bad for making it that way.  I’m always like “My poor baby who is making you suffer so much-oh yeah it’s me sorry about that babe.” She is my “villain” OC. She is really only a member of the league so that she can stay close with her boyfriend and love of her life Twice (Jin). Her quirk is that she can control the plant tattoos that are on her arms by summoning them and using them in combat. Her comfort character is Mary Poppins because it reminds her of her older brother. Violet is an actress for a local community theater once the league disbands quietly. She and Jin also adopt Toga (a younger member of the villain league) as their own daughter to give her a second chance at life. I love her even though she’s the saddest backstory one that I have to work with it’s also the most fulfilling when I write fluff for her. 

Shizuko Kanade: Another absolute baby with a crappy home life. I’m sorry that I made it that way hun but it gets better for you I promise. Shizuko is my quirkless OC and my genius tech girl. She lives below her best friend and brother in arms Denki Kaminari and they’ve been best friends since they moved into the same building together. Her comfort character is PJ from the Goof franchise especially from Goof Troop that was her favorite show to watch with her aunt when she was growing up. She starts off really chubby, the cute kind of chubby but starts drastically dropping pounds in order for her parents to love and accept her. When they still don’t Denki has enough and talks to his mom and they decide to call the police and foster Shizuko into their own home. They get a restraining order against her biological family and my best girl gets a happy home. She wants to be the first quirkless hero to rely completely on support items. (She is also partnered with Shoji if anybody is curious.)

Arashi Mitsuha: This absolute baby, I love them. Ari is my gender fluid OC that I made who started off as just your everyday cis male but then I had an idea that spiraled from Ari in eyeliner to Ari in a skirt and then we wound up with the gender fluid absolute icon that they are today. Ari has a weather quirk. Basically anything involving weather they can do it with their eyes closed. Thunder and lightning storms, tsunamis, tornados but also snow and sunshine. They’re really OP and hella versatile it makes it more fun to write their fighting style. I paired them up with Denki in your stereotypical meet-cute scenario. In terms of backstory they just had a really bad ex-boyfriend before Denki came into their life like a literal speeding bullet. Their comfort character is Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. 

Litzy Diaz: My last and FINAL MHA OC I promise you. Litzy is from a small town in Mexico and transferred to UA giving herself a second chance to start anew with her new friends and away from her toxic parents. She is fostered by Aizawa and Present Mic who have already adopted Shinsou so they are brother and sister in every way but blood. Her quirk was very heavily inspired by my love of Dr Facilier in Princess And The Frog. She can control shadows, shadow travel through things such as walls and she can control her friends on the other side basically demons from the underworld. Present Mic sees her as his long lost daughter and basically worships the ground that she walks on. He loves her more than anything in the entire world. Her comfort character is Miguel from Coco and La Muerte from Book Of Life. Her canon partner is Juso from Class B. 

DuckTales: I only have one DuckTales OC (thank the Gods) but she’s very special and important to me. I love the reboot of this show even if I’m way the hell behind on it (I promise I’ll catch up after Gravity Falls Donuts!!). 

Sabrina Duck: Sabrina is a sister for Huey, Dewey and Louie!! She shares the title of oldest quadruplet by thirty seconds and often took over the motherly role for her siblings when their mom wasn’t there. She was always reminding them to do their homework, regulated who got TV time and who was in charge of the delegated family movie night. This resulted in a rift between her and her brother Dewey that only got bigger overtime. School was really hard for her to deal with. She was never the best at paying attention during her classes and had a really bad sensory overload one day. She was really close with her uncle Ludwig though and he offered to teach her. They have a really special bond between the two of them that I love writing for. Sabrina was the person that grounded Ludwig to not think up as many crazy inventions. She also knits!! She loves knitting sweaters for her friends and family around the holidays. I am partnering her up with Gosalyn eventually. 

Star Vs The Forces Of Evil: To be perfectly honest with you guys, I have not seen the entire show. It’s really hard for me to get into it. Because when you only really love one character in the entire thing it gets harder to keep coming back for more. Especially because in the first two seasons you don’t get a whole lot of him and I’m stuck on season 2. 

Allania (Nia) Alvez: I feel like out of all my OCs I am the most like Nia. She’s a half elf-half mortal princess that isn’t allowed to live with the elves so they sent her to live with her mortal father. Her dad’s run a bakery in town and she works there as an assistant baker when she isn’t preparing for her next drag show. She grew up in this family full of love and acceptance and grew excited about one day having a relationship just like her parents. Her first brush with love left her broken by the side of the road even though no relationship came of it. A lot of my feelings for my ex-best friend went into Nia’s personality. However, there is a bright side! Of course with every one of my fics so far there is a bright side that comes in the form of my favorite character Tom who gives her the love that she deserves. 

Animaniacs: Of course this is me we’re talking about so there has to be an Animaniacs OC on this list! This is actually the first character that I ever made on my own free will! She has changed a lot throughout the years that I’ve had her mostly because my tastes have changed.  

Elizabeth Martin: Lizzy is a member of the scene crowd, I was inspired by my best friend and what she wears every day. For the modern au that I have her in her and Yakko are dance partners in a musical theater style school. For the regular fic she’s cast as his love interest. I love this girl so much. To me she is everything that I want to be even now. Her strength and confidence to get through every situation, even the ones that she is afraid to deal with speaks volumes to how I want to be one day. One of the few things that we have in common is that we both did martial arts! She stuck with it for longer than me though and is currently a green belt in kempo karate. Her favorite musical is Fun Home because it’s the one that she relates to the most through the eyes of the mother Helen Beckdal. Her parents basically had three other kids and went here take care of these it’s your job. Every time I listen to Days and Days I think of how much she had to go through just to make sure that everything was going according to plan. 

Looney Toons: Who doesn’t love Looney Toons?! We all have our personal favorite characters, mine has always been the schemer Daffy Duck. I thought that he was a combination of the funniest and had the most personality other than Bugs. I love his antics and get rich quick schemes and I thought to myself one day “How cute would it be if he had an adorable little niece who loved space?!” 

Daniella Duck: This began the creation of one of the best ideas that I personally think that I have ever had. So Daniella is the only one out of all my OCs that does not have aspergers. Instead I looked at Daffy’s elongated tongue and was like “Hm something inside of me thinks that she would have down-syndrome...” At first she was just going to have a little bit of her uncle’s speech impediment but this is what happens when I get ideas when I’m working out. Daniella lives with her uncle on the warner movie lot in the show fic. I love writing for her and her uncle’s relationship because it’s soft Daffy (it’s very similar to writing for soft Grunkle Stan and I LOVE BOTH). Daniella also has an uncle figure in Bugs and Porky of course. I gave her canon partner to Wakko because I just thought that they would be SO cute together. He helps her work on her self confidence and working her way around her speech impediment. In the modern au that I have she has a brother Ding Dong (@oo-fabooo02 OC). She goes to school with Wakko, loves Ed, Ed N Eddy, helps her uncle on his podcast because Daffy is a comedian in this au and she helps him write his script for the episodes. She loves space in both aus but in the modern au she actually is able to become an astronaut! 

Teen Titans\Promare: I have the same OC for both Teen Titans and for Promare but she’s more for Promare right now. What started off as just a happy au that she could have with her comfort character from the TT fic sort of spiraled into this whole other au. 

Keiko Katsuragi\Fotia in the Promare au: Keiko is a really special OC in my heart. She’s adorable, fun loving, sweet and just an all around amazing girl. In the Teen Titans au she’s a lot more damaged emotionally. Her father gave her powers through a serum that she didn’t even really want (she thought that he was joking) and it caused her house to burn down. When she left Japan she was homeless until the Teen Titans found her. Keiko is a member of the decora community and loves cutesy, girly things (especially Pokémon, Sanrio characters, Spongebob, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears). Her collection of stuffed animals is immense and intimidating. Her canon partner is Beast Boy. I’ve had Keiko since I was six and only just started to refine her and make her into an official OC. Promare au Keiko still has BB as her partner but I made him into a fire fighter for this au to work. She started off in a poly relationship with Meis and Gueira but I changed my mind. Writing the Promare au gave me the chance to make a happy unscarred Keiko. Her comfort character in this au is Dot. 

Princess And The Frog: If you forced me to pick a favorite Disney movie this one would be one of the two answers that I gave to you. I have a very big soft spot for this movie in particular. It is one that changed my life when I sat there as a young child and watched the movie unfold in front of my very eyes. Every time I rewatch this movie I am reminded of how much of my childhood I spent loving hand drawn Disney animation. 

Rhiannon (Rae): Rae is the daughter of Tiana and Naveen. I named her after Raymond the firefly. If you knew what a big comfort character my favorite cajun firefly is for me and my mom then her name will come as no surprise. She is the baker and pastry chef for Tiana’s Palace. Rae is a multi musically talented young girl she plays the ukulele, trumpet and accordion. When I first started writing for her I knew that I wanted her to be bisexual. So I turned to one of my favorite animation fun facts that I know. When Jim Cummings was first auditioning for Raymond they had him sing a song. This song that he sang is by Leon Russel and it’s called Cajun Love Song. It is also the song that he sings when he is untying Tiana and Naveen’s tongues. The song is about a girl named Alice. And part of my brain that makes these connections went perfect! That’ll be the name of her girlfriend. Rae is mostly a daddy’s girl. The relationship between her and Naveen was really what helped me refine her personality. Her comfort character is Rabbit from Winnie The Pooh. She is a gardener in her free time and that’s where she gets a majority of her fresh fruits and vegetables for her pastries and desserts. She isn’t really the best at being a princess. In fact she hates when she has to go and visit Maldonia. She doesn’t feel at home there and they won’t let her cook or bake anything at all because it’s not seen as ladylike. This is when she mostly feels like something is wrong with her. Why can’t she just do this one seemingly simple thing for her dad? When he does so much for her why can’t she do this? She learns that even though she isn’t perfect she is so very much loved that it’s ridiculous. Her family loves her so much and they’re willing to move hell or high water for her to be comfortable. 

Gravity Falls: My most recent obsession (I did not have cable when the original show was being released please don’t kill me). I have recently been binging this show on Disney+ and have just started the second season. I hope to be done with it within the next week or so because I love it so much. My favorite character so far is definitely Grunkle Stan. I love his growth and development from a power hungry greedy old man to somebody that clearly loves the kids that are put under his care. Watching his adorable relationship with mother and the father son relationship with Dipper is something that is really close to my heart.

Twilight Pines: My most recent OC!! Twilight is the older sister of Mabel and Dipper and has been visiting Grunkle Stan for years prior to the start of the show. She’s used to his money scheming antics by now but she still loves her favorite Grunkle. Growing up, Twilight had a nervous stutter. She was shy, nervous a lot, socially awkward and was never really the best at dealing with other people. This made her comfort character Piglet from Winnie The Pooh. Her stutter is still there but it’s gotten a lot better!! She spent the year before the show starts at drama camp trying to get over her stutter. While it’s not gone completely it was a lot of progress. She has a really strong relationship with her caretaker for the summer because of the years that she’s spent with him in the past. Up until Mabel went with her for the summer she thought that she would be the only niece in his heart. See, after Mabel was born she took up a lot of the attention. Everyone wanted to look at the cute one instead of the nervous one. It’s just the way that life is. But during the summer she got to spend it being the favorite relative of somebody. When she notices how close Mabel and Stan are getting that’s when she knows that it’s over. She was naive to ever think that somebody would pick her as the favorite. Not when Mabel existed alongside her. It’s not that she doesn’t love Mabel because she clearly does. It’s just that well sometimes she wants to be loved and appreciated by her parents instead of constantly being sidelined. That’s why her summers with her Grunkle were so important to her. It was just three months out of the year. But for those three months working at the Mystery Shack and having all kinds of chaotic fun were the highlight of her year. She has to learn that she has her own values too. One’s that while don’t oversell her sister are still her’s and they are still beautiful. She learns that her parents love and care about her just as much as her sister. It’s just hard to be a show stealer in this house let’s be honest. Twilight is a pansexual and her canon partner is Wendy.

Three Months Before Purge Night

“Everyone in their seats,” Aizawa says as he walks to the front, setting down a folder.

The class listens and in five seconds were in their seats. Aizawa looks around the class and opens his folder and presses a button. In big words ‘PURGE NIGHT’ appeared on the board, catching everyone’s attention. They look at their homeroom teacher, wondering where he was going with this. Would he ban them from purge night? Many already argued that futures heroes and heroes should not participate.

But purge night is for everyone. No one can prevent who is involved, only those who are protected and what age one can participate.

“Classes will end soon and you’ll be starting your breaks soon. Again, let us know if you’ll be staying on campus. Onto the business of what’s on the board. We all know about the annual purge. Only two countries participate in this, which is Japan and the United States,” Aizawa explains and has Aoyama to pass out a piece of paper for the class, “And you are all as of now, sixteen. You are now able to participate in this year’s purge.”

“Mr. Aizawa?”

“Yes, Iida?”

“I thought the age was fifteen. Why has it been raised?” Iida asks as he looks at the piece of paper, which contained information.

“The Hero Commission changed it just last month. I have no idea why,” Aizawa sighs and looks at the board, “Purge night is in one month. If you are to participate, I need to know.”

“But why? The point of purge night is to well, kill,” Sero says confused.

“U.A. will be on lockdown. We are under government protection. Not even villains can step in here, which is a small number. So I need to know who will be off campus. You don’t have to say now, but I would like to know before the end of the week. I will keep it anonymous unless you decide to tell the class.”

The class look at each other, wondering who of their class will participate. This is something big for everyone. Midoriya sighs as he looks at the piece of paper in front of him, staring at the rules and regulations the commission had in place.

This is a tense moment. It’s a decision that can affect many lives. Ever since the surprising death of All for One, the downfall of the Liberation Army and disbandment of the League of Villains, so much has changed. Everything is different now. While the number of villains is low now, it doesn’t mean their inexistent.

The annual purge was something he really didn’t believe in either. It’s something that was created to control the overpopulation they have at the moment, as well as to deal with the poor. It was hard to deny. Midoriya hated the idea of it, but what can he do? He’s only a high school kid who’s lived through six annual purge nights.

That’s when Midoriya got an idea. It’s silly and it may not even work. Yet, it could be great for their training. Hell, they may be able to end purge night as well or start a revolution. It may cost lives, on their side or the other, but it would be the start of it.

“You’re mumbling, dipshit.”

Midoriya looks in front of him, Bakugo glaring at them. Midoriya sheepishly apologizes, Bakugo just grumbling. Aizawa let the class have free time for now, seeing as all day today was dedicated to learning about the purge. Bakugo turns to Midoriya, staring at him with a raised eyebrow.

“What are you scheming?” Bakugo asks him, the class chattering away.

Their relationship still wasn’t the best, but they were equals in a manner. They both now respected each other, and they fought together when needed. They wouldn’t say they are best friends, but acquaintances who have each other’s backs.

Okay, maybe friends but neither would admit to it.

“About purge night.”

“You’re participating?” Bakugo frowns, not expecting this from the freckled boy.

“In a sense,” Midoriya says in a low voice to not be heard by those around him, “You and I know the real reason why we even have this night. The elites control this.”

“Well duh, I’m not a dumbass like you,” He scoffs, turning around full to face him, “But what can we do about it?”

“Join forces,” Midoriya grins, making even Bakugo feel cold, “I’ll explain it later. I wouldn’t want Aizawa to hear this.”

“What are you talking about?” Mineta asks and looks at the two boys.

“Nothing,” They both say, glaring at him hard enough to make him scatter.

School day ended and the class was quiet as they returned to their dorms. As the final student entered, Midoriya turns to Bakugo. They both nod and Bakugo releases a few fireworks to get everyone’s attention. Midoriya clears his throat and looks at his class, setting down his backpack. They all look at him confused, wondering what this is about. Did he injure himself again?

“We should participate in the purge,” Midoriya says out loud.

Crickets. Just crickets. Nothing else. Everyone went through various stages of shock, staring at the two boys who stood there confident.

Then chaos. There was screaming, shouting, questions, comments, everything. Midoriya and Bakugo sigh and expected this. They let them continue until they all quiet down, which took five minutes.

“Why?” Iida asks, looking at them as if they grew two heads, “Such a statement should not be made lightly!”

“Iida is right,” Yaoyorozu speaks next, “What’s your reason?”

“Iida, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, please don’t take this wrong,” Midoriya starts off, “But-“

“The elites and rich control the fucking purge and it’s the poor who suffer the most,” Bakugo says bluntly, shrugging his shoulders, “I’m not rich, neither am I poor. However, it doesn’t mean I’m blind to class inequality. They say it’s due to overpopulation, which is both true and false. It is also to get rid of the poor.”

The class stays quiet to process the information, and to also process that Bakugo gave facts while cursing only once. He also didn’t yell, which is very surprising. The three students who were called out blink and think of what he said. Yes, they are the three richest in the class and their families play big parts when it comes to heroes. But that doesn’t mean they are to blame.

“We are not blaming you,” Midoriya states as if he could read their minds, “But the upper classes play a big part. No one here is blaming you, but we all have to open our eyes and think about this. Why should they be in control of this night? Why should they be excluded? Everyone should be included if we want this to be fair! Overpopulation will always be a problem, but many of this recent generation are not even having kids. They are too focused on hero work or their own lives!

And overpopulation will always be here no matter what we do. If this was the real reason as to why we have this night, then this should have been implemented since the beginning of quirks arose. There is so much that can be done and of course we can’t change it in one night, it may take us years and many more of these nights. That doesn’t mean we can’t start now!”

They all stare at Midoriya as he was now standing on a chair. They were all too surprised to speak. They never expect the boy who dreamt of saving people to now suggest killing.

“Wouldn’t this affect the school as well?” Tsuyu asks, looking at the two, “The school falls under the protection of the government. Doing this would endanger the students and teachers.”

“We thought of this as well,” Bakugo looks at them, “While we want everyone included, schools should still have protection. We are still trying to decide if it should fall under government protection and if that means including all hero schools. As of now, only the top three schools have protection under the government.”

It was still silent between everyone, the room tense now by what he stated. They can’t deny what he said. They’re both too smart to argue against. Midoriya was starting to think he won’t get support from how quiet the room was.

Until.

“I’ll join you,” Todoroki states, hand raised and looks at Midoriya, “I’ll be there.”

“What?” Midoriya looks at him with wide eyes, Bakugo just as surprised.

“The commission has to change. I overhear conversations between my father and the commission. There needs to be a system change. You’re right,” Todoroki stood straight as he spoke, “And if there is one thing the commission hates, is saving people during that night. That night is dedicated to killing, not saving. I can gather any information you need.”

Midoriya smiles at Todoroki, one of his really good friends, nodding. He looks at Bakugo, who shrugs and writes down his name.

“I’m in too,” Kirishima states hand raised, “It’ll be unmanly to accept what the commission does. As all you bros stated, we need to change this!”

“Count me in,” Iida says, pushing his glasses up as the class turned to him, “If I want to be a hero, it starts off with seeing what’s wrong in this system.”

“Same here,” Yaoyorozu nods, her cheeks a little pink from her nerves, “Write me down. I can support financially and with documents if needed.”

“The darkness will join in.”

“Hell yeah, dudes! Us too!”

“I’ll make sure we are stocked on energy bars during the twelve hours!”

“We have to go to Hatsume later so she can make some changes in my support items!”

“We’re really doing this?”

“For a good reason.”

Midoriya was an smiles, watching as his classmates conversarte about the night. He steps down the chair, Bakugo writing down everyone’s name. He looks at him and just smiles, making the blond just roll his eyes and slaps the journal on his chest.

“That is so fucking stupid!” A voice shrills out.

19 heads turn to look down at the young purple classmate, who stared at them in shock. None are surprised that he objects and it kills the mood in the room. They just sigh and Kaminari speaks first.

“Just say you don’t want to participate is all. No one is forcing you, dude.”

“Kaminari, I thought you were better than this. Joining in something so useless!” Mineta looks up at the teen, “How do we even know this is not some plot so Midoriya can kill us?”

“Because I am not like you,” Midoriya speaks up, walking over and stands in front of Mineta, “I don’t give up at the sight of danger. You can stay here on purge night if you’d like. I won’t force anyone to join me. Is that clear enough for your small brain?” Midoriya asks and raises an eyebrow.

Mineta just stays quiet and stomps away, still shrilling about how the idea was stupid. They just roll their eyes and all turn to Midoriya and Bakugo.

“So we’re going to be vigilantes essentially?” Sato asks, looking at who they now consider leaders.

“Exactly, sounds badass too,” Bakugo smirks and looks at him, “We are going to tear down the system and blow it the fuck up.”

“We’re going to fuck shit up,” Midoriya says, a grin on his face.

The class goes wild with his declaration and that he cursed. He rarely curses if ever. Midoriya just laughs and looks at his class, feeling a range of emotions. This was going to be big, and they will make their statement known.

“What do we do first to get ready?” Uraraka asks through the sea of noise.

“We need to get our support items registered for purge night. They only allow three that have to deal with our quirks. Anything else is free range. Kacchan, we’ll have to see what we do about your quirk. Explosives fall under weapons class four,” Midoriya explains, flipping through the pages of his journal, “Outfits too. It has to be something that can’t be tied to our hero uniforms. Then we may need masks. It’s best to cover our face so no one sees we’re hero students.”

“Who will we be going after?” Jiro asks, lightly tugging on her earjacks, “We have to be careful that no children are harmed.”

“Except dicks,” Kaminari mumbles.

“Kacchan and I made a list,” Midoriya explains and lets Bakugo explain.

“We can’t go above level ten government, meaning the hero commission board and the ministry. However, they never said anything of those who work for them. They are not level ten. Also, there are no rules of going against heroes. Some are corrupt and I’m just saying, no one will miss them.”

“We’ll kill heroes?” Hagakure asks, hand seeming to go to her mouth based on her glove position.

“Only if necessary,” Midoriya shrugs, walking towards the common room, “I say severely harm. Whatever happens to them happens.”

“How will we know who is who? I’m sure they’ll be in disguise,” Sero points out and sits on the ground.

“I’ve got that ready too. What? I’m a hero fan and I like to analyze quirks. This isn’t my first rodeo,” Midoriya rolls his eyes.

They spend the rest of the day explaining what the plan is and who they’ll go after. Todoroki may have been pleased that Endeavor was number three on the list of who to go after.

Aizawa just smirks as he overheard everything, shaking his head. He’s not at all surprised that Midoriya and Bakugo are leading the charge. Besides, not like he’s innocent as well. He too will participate in the purge.

This purge year will be very interesting.

Analysis on the MHA Girls

(Part I: Uraraka & Momo)

I know that the fandom tends to dislike these queens and push them aside, and I know Hori doesn't really know how to write women, but what he has given us is great and I wish the fans would appreciate these awesome ladies more. So here's an analysis for my girls, I wanna do an analysis on the three musketeers (broccoli, popcorn, & candy cane) so that'll be posted soon too :)

Uraraka

BEST. GIRL. I love Uraraka so much, she is the reason why I started watching MHA and she's such a sweetheart, I wish she wasn't so hated amongst the fandom.

We first meet her as this wholesome, bubbly girl who saves Midoriya from falling, and it's pretty clear that she's gonna be the main love interest. Honestly, I was a little disappointed during her first few scenes. Like I said, she was the reason why I started MHA, and she turns out to be the typical sweet girl the main dude has a crush on. I didn't have high hopes tbh. What first intrigued me was when she admits her reasons for becoming a hero. You would never expect the innocent girl-next-door love interest to be doing something for money. Even she herself says it's "such an unwholesome motivation" in comparison to Midoriya's and Iida's reasons, and she gets praised for "looking out for herself." This is the first misconception I see often on her character; she wants money for herself because she's poor. If you look into her reasons, she just wants to make money for her parents, not for her, so that her parents can take it easy. She is just as selfless as Midoriya and Kirishima, but I don't see her get praised for her selflessness nearly as much as for those two or other characters. I also really like the small flashback they included; her father tells her to not worry about them and to follow her dreams. Whether at the start Uraraka truly wanted to be a hero or solely did it for the money is up for interpretation. I personally think she started solely for the money, which I'll get into after I talk about the Sports Festival.

Uraraka vs. Bakugo is one of the most emotional fights in my opinion, and it's one of my favorites. EVERYONE in that stadium underestimated her. I'm not going to say that the reason was because she was a woman, but rather, Bakugo is pretty ruthless and powerful, where as she is not, and people knew that. The fact that she was a "small young girl" just added more fuel to that, if that makes sense. And this best girl did what she could to prove EVERYONE wrong. This is where Uraraka proves that she isn't a typical sweet shonen love interest and I wish people took notice in that. People think of ambitious, determined, driven, cunning, and powerful women as dark and mysterious, femme fatale so to speak. But this fight shows that Uraraka, a pretty extroverted, kind, and bubbly person, is all of those qualities, just as ambitious and determined as the strongest male characters in the show, such as Bakugo and Todoroki.

And when she loses the fight (after basically passing out btw, queen didn't stop until the very end), she doesn't just mope and quit and wait for encouraging words from her love interest, she 1. GIVES the encouraging words TO her love interest and 2. she understands that her quirk alone isn't going to be enough to get her to the top, so she carefully chooses a hero agency where she knows she will be taught combat, AND SHE LEARNS. The next time her class is attacked by villains, she single-handedly takes down one of the more dangerous members without a quirk, just with the fighting skills she took the time to learn.

Back to what I said earlier, Uraraka started her hero journey solely for money. This plays directly into her development in seasons 3 and 4, which is criminally underrated. She sees her entire class working harder than ever, and even though she's dealing with unfamiliar emotions, she decides to push those emotions aside to not fall behind, determined to be a good student and hero like her classmates. During the events at Shie Hassaikai, Uraraka finally learns the true environment a hero works in. Failing to save Nighteye, she realizes that what she truly wants for herself isn't money or Midoriya, it's being a hero who saves people. I believe Nighteye's death directly ties into the "who protects heroes when they need protection?" line. This recent chapter in the manga makes me think that she's gonna do something big and go through a character arc. I said this on Twitter and I'll say it here, I want Uraraka to become a hero who protects heroes (whatever that could mean, it has a nice ring to it lol). Honestly, her character has sm potential, I'm excited for what Horikoshi has in store for her.

Momo

God is a woman and that woman is Momo Yaoyorozu. I'm tired of people calling her annoying because of one episode, as if you've never had self-esteem problems before 🙄 so now I'm going to talk about why she's amazing 😋

My initial impression of Momo was the typical smart girl, stern, formal, and aloof, but still caring. And as I rewatch the series, I believe this is what Horikoshi was going for at first. I think her voice was deeper in the first season too. As much as I love the Erza type of characters, I love where Horikoshi ended up going with Momo. As a teenage girl, I find the arc she went through during season 2 very relatable. It's obvious that Momo was raised to have full confidence in herself. While she may not show it like Bakugo does, I think it's obvious that she's not used to losing, she was probably praised for having an amazing quirk growing up, like Bakugo, but is a way more humble about it because she was raised differently. So at the Sports Festival, she experiences losing, seemingly for the first time, in a place where she just can't afford to lose. But she does. And this takes a huge toll on her.

She's rich, pretty, the top student in class, and admired by her peers, but obviously that's not what mattered to Momo. What mattered to her most in that moment was looking good in front of agencies, what mattered most was to be a worthy hero, and she feels like she's failed. She seeks guidance from a female hero, hoping to have a female role model guide her through issues she has as a 15 year old girl, but instead finds herself being used for her looks. Again, Momo doesn't care about any of that, she just wants to be considered a worthy hero, and her defeat at the Sports Festival made her completely lose the confidence she needed to accomplish that goal.

Now we have the Yaoyorozu Rising episode. Fans who hate her often refer to this episode as "evidence for Todomomo", "her being annoying by not knowing what to do," etc. etc. etc. 🙄

I like Todomomo. It's a cute and healthy ship. There are WAY more Todomomo scenes, not in this episode. Todoroki is a side character in Momo's story in this episode. This episode is MOMO'S. Sorry but she’s not sharing the spotlight. I know that seems a little aggressive, sorry, but this episode shows a lot of development in Momo, and it just gets brushed off as Todomomo content when it's not. She did know what to do, btw, she has a plan. She didn't know how to communicate that. She didn't want to communicate that. She was scared that her plan wouldn't work. She was scared that she'd fail. All of that stems back to her defeat at the Sports Festival, she has lost a major amount of confidence, and Aizawa and Todoroki notice this. Aizawa even says that her actions are of a normal 15 year old girl's, and even though he wished to help her, he couldn't, so Todoroki does it in his place. This is something I notice about Momo that is one of the most relatable things I've ever seen in a teenage girl in not just shonen, anime but just in fiction in general: she knows she has a good plan, but she doesn't have confidence in it until someone else gives her the validation. Upon seeing that others trust her, she regains her confidence and fulfills her plans with excellency. She is a REALISTIC 15 YEAR OLD GIRL which is honestly SO refreshing to see in a work of fiction. It's what I love about her character: she represents many teenagers, girls, boys, and theys alike.

And yeah, it might've been annoying if she had stayed the "has good plans but only executes them if she gets the validation from others" type of character. But she doesn't. By season 3, she has shown a significant amount of growth. She is shown to be more of a leader now that she's more confident in herself, and she's still dealing with it (that one scene with Sero & Jiro 💀), but she's gotten a lot better after realizing her worth, after realizing the trust others have in her, after realizing that others see her as an intelligent leader. So in the forest, she quickly comes up with a plan and executes it quickly. Had she not done this, had she not thought and acted quickly, who knows how long it would've taken before the heroes found Bakugo.

Another thing I want to mention before I finish Momo's section- at the hospital, All Might calls her a worthy hero because of her actions. It was her inability to act quickly at the Sports Festival that made her doubt her worth, and it's her ability to act quickly that makes All Might see it. I think this plays a major role for her character, maybe why she ultimately decided to go on the mission to save Bakugo. She's gonna have some of the spotlight to herself during the Joint Training Battle.

I also want to mention something from the manga, if you don't want spoilers then don't read this part.

Some of Midnight's last words in the manga are "Yaoyorozu's going to make a fine leader someday," which shows how her peers and mentors alike notice her potential. Additionally, she proves this statement right by quickly coming up with a plan to stop Gigantomachia. I'm very excited to see how Momo develops into an even more inspiring leader as the manga continues.
