You know how there is the joke with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, that everyone in the movie (and in fact the one before) who kisses Elizabeth ends up dead?

I just realized it is kinda the same for Castlevania with Hector. Everyone who uses the poor boy ends up dead. Dracula? Dead. Carmilla? Dead. Lenore? You get it.

And sure, Dracula gets revived in the end. But so do Jack and Will by the end of PotC.

It's... kinda funny. The boy is cursed, I think. xD

(Also it is kinda sad that literally throughout the entire series nobody ever interacts with him without having ulterior motives.)

The part I've reached in Castlevania everyones just out there living their best life. Then there's Hector. Hector is getting beaten within an inch of his life.

Jack absolutely tried to shoot himself out of a cannon before AWE. It didn’t end well, and Hector had to deal with a very whiny captain for the next few days. All while trying to keep the Black Pearl running

Man, this was fun to work on! Again I used my own characters. Here we have Rosie, Michael, and Hector. Along with Treble Clef, one of my characters who’s been in the works for awhile

How sad can it be for Hector to think about his family's past? He literally lost all stages of his daughter's growth! He never saw her as a young woman, he wasn't with her when she got married, he never saw her granddaughters born and all those big and small things that happen in the family. It may be true that now he is with his family and daughter again, but these experiences, these things have been irretrievably stolen from him. And it's SAD!

Aww   ☹ I know it's sad... But I think that the Rivera family keeps, even in the land of the dead, a family album! 

With photos that were surely shown to Hector! Including those of Coco and Julio's wedding! 

Maybe he looks at them sometime and thinks how beautiful his daughter was, but then he’s also caught by the sad reality... He wasn't there with her! 😕
