The old owner’s FB page is Susan N John Carpenter. It’s all public so you can read your little heart out.

Basically John went on a rant about how the pleasure industry is horrible, all the trainers are horrible, all the judges are horrible, which yeah, modern western pleasure is pretty horrible, but you know what you probably shouldn’t do while standing two pretty popular western pleasure stallions? Shit on western pleasure. So that blows up and the two stallions, one of them being Kissin The Girls get black listed from a couple of big futurities and dropped from some stallion auctions, etc. Kissin The Girls was already only “popular” because of the whole Shirley thing that happened to him a few years ago. He has never been shown himself, and I don’t think any of his foals have done much. The few that I have met have been…not great/not right in the head TBH.

THEN Susan goes on to FB saying how John is abusing her and how she is fearful for her life and trying to get away from him.

John has a criminal record in…FL I think? There are a bunch of screenshots of his mug shots floating around and his arrest record if you want to dig that up. Susan also filed a restraining order against him in early September in Alabama. Screenshots of that are also floating around FB.

THEN the Susan/John FB profile, which everybody is pretty much in agreement is being run/the posts are being typed by John, posts a photo of Susan and John saying that they are happy, everything is fine, another picture of Susan holding an iPad with their joint FB page pulled up on it…all very…weird, and of course no proof that Susan is actually…safe…? During this time there were also some posts by the joint page by John saying that Susan had a serious drug/alcohol problem and needed rehab…

Anyway, back to the horse. So, the horse is sold to this woman named Hannah. Hannah is currently in procession of the horse, and his papers. The poor woman has been riding a crazy train, which granted, I feel like she probably must have known she was getting on when she purchased KTG, to be frank. Since she purchased him the John/Susan FB page has been making posts like this…

Even though Hannah on her own FB page started marketing KTG under a new brand, under new management, so on and so forth. Clearly trying to separate herself and the stallion from these crazy people. Hannah did make a statement and also a kind of funny passive aggressive FB profile photo change to a picture of her holding KTG’s papers transferred with her name on them which is kind of hilarious.

As of right now John/Susan are accusing Hannah of passing bad checks, which brings us up to the present day and the fact that apparently we might see this all play out in court.

BnHA Chapter 311: Hand Gun

Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi was all “thinkin’ about dropping in some woke analogies of the very real and very presently relevant issue of racial profiling idk what do you guys think” and then shrugged and did it without waiting for an answer, and ngl it was a bit sudden, but I’m here for it. All Might was all “DEKU YOU NEED TO EAT” and Deku was all “OKAY” and took his hero bento and went to go stand dramatically on a tower in the rain whilst having some highly anticipated Vestige flashbacks. OFA II was all, “sup, I guess I’m not Kacchan... OR AM I,” and ngl I think he is?? Alternate universes anybody?? Hello??? But anyway, so OFA the First a.k.a. Yoichi was all “remember that time you guys rescued me from my evil brother and Two took my hand and we Had A Moment?”, and Two and Three were all “ahh yeah good times”, and it was very nice and very, very gay. The chapter ended with it being very unclear if Two and Three have actually lent their power to Deku yet or not lmao. Y’all need to get your shit together dudes.

Today on BnHA: Horikoshi is all “what if I gave a random bad guy a fucking tommy gun that shoots nails” and jesus christ calm down son. The Hawksquad, a.k.a. SQUAWK as per @hotchocolatier​, are all “time to drive aimlessly around town acting like Deku has a restraining order on us because that’s literally the best plan to combat the League we could come up with,” and I have no further comment. Hawks is all “idk about you guys but I want to know more about AFO and Tomura’s whole deal” and I can’t remember the last time I identified so strongly with one of these characters. All Might is all, “[EXPLODES???]”, and the chapter ends with that mysterious hot girl from the Tartarus breakout being all “HELLO I CAN TURN INTO A GUN AND I LITERALLY DON’T GIVE A FUCK” and (1) WOW, and (2) IT’S TRUE, SHE CAN, AND SHE REALLY DOESN’T. GODDAMN.

(ETA: so this wholly escaped my notice on the first go, and also has nothing to do with the chapter itself, but I only just realized that this chapter was scanlated by a new group, TCB Scans. they actually did a very good job, and I’m curious if they’ve found a new RAW provider, because the quality this week is actually crazy good in comparison to what we’ve been dealing with for the past few months. Absolutely! Honestly, I can make it a habit of reviewing the chapters if that’s something people are interested in lmao. I usually try to restrain my very loud yelling XD

Anyway I really enjoyed it once again! I think for this one it was a bit difference because like. I was TERRIFIED for issue 8. That big long meta I did about Sergey rescuing Oleg was due to that terror lmfao. I really wasn’t sure if it would go that way or ruin me emotionally so it was a HUGE relief to have it go the amazing way it did and it hit me all the harder because of that. For this one, I really wasn’t worried, just excited, but it hit allllll my buttons damn, I loved it

K so I’ll just go in rough chronological order here for convenience and that FIGHT SCENE????? Omg. The second the cover dropped with Sergey having a knife I knew it was gonna be good but it was still even more incredible than I expected. I was SO hoping to see him just go completely feral with the knife and that’s exactly what he did! It was the stuff dreams are made of tbh. I also totally predicted the pendant being going in someone’s eye but I really thought it’d be Vad lmao. And the detail that it’s from Oleg’s father? Very interesting indeed (though RIP the headcanon that Sergey gave it to him sdkslk)

Oh and the first bit where Oleg walks into view with Sergey pointing the gun at him? And Sergey’s absolutely TERRIFIED expression as he realizes who he’s aiming at? Fuck. But then Oleg makes a joke about the 5 bullets? Teases Sergey not to miss this time while gesturing for him to shoot the extremely tiny target that is the chain of the handcuffs? Absolutely incredible. Omg. There is NO distrust or resentment on Oleg’s part regarding the 5 bullets, which is something I already believed but seeing the proof was so nice. And seeing them fight together, back to back, was just wonderful (plus, the aforementioned Sergey going absolutely bonkers with the knife lmao)

Also Vad just. Sitting down and keeping score? Hilarious. What an icon

Now, the Altan and Lera fight was also great - it was really cool to see Lera be able to really show all her skills. Grabbing the sword, using the chain against him, that flippy manoeuvre? GOOD GIRL!!! We love to see it. The dialogue is pretty much exactly what I expected before translating tbh - interesting though that Altan doesn’t even try to explain his personal motives. That would’ve swayed her far more than what he did say. But maybe he doesn’t want to talk about that

It’s also interesting that when she got him pinned, he willingly compares himself to Sergey. It’s very likely he meant it only on the surface of ‘we’re both rich murderers’, but still. The parallels between them are obvious. He thought the idea that Sergey would come for Oleg was too flattering. Sergey ruined his life as collateral damage. He detests him. Yet Altan shows, possibly at least, a high level of self-awareness about what exactly it is he’s doing here

I also liked the beginning of digging more into Lera’s motives - obviously she’s doing it a lot for her family, but I think her personal sense of justice is playing into it more than she is willing to admit. She could’ve left Sergey for dead, as he rightly points out at the end. She seems to have come more for the sake of those who died at the casino than Oleg or Sergey and basically says so herself. I’m curious where they’re going to go with her, as I think the next arc will focus more on her than serovolk now that Sergey’s done his big gesture

(Not really related, but I also highly suspect that at some point in the narrative, Lera will end up killing someone either out of necessary self-defence or by accident and that’ll be a Big Moral Crisis thing for her. But anyway)

Good things about the ending: everyone is alive! I’m so happy to see that! And Sergey taking Oleg out and their just. Little touches in there? Hhhhh got me so good. And Vad carrying Altan off like a sack of potatoes lmfao. Amazing. So glad to see both serovolk and golden scales alive and well and doing rescues

Sad things about the ending: LERA!!!! MY POOR DARLING!!!! Omg it honestly didn’t even occur to me to be worried about her, I never thought she’d get hurt! I know she’s gonna be fine in the long run cause it’s way too soon to seriously maim the main character lmao but I’m still just 😭😭😭  My poor dear needs a doctor and pain meds and a nap and to not have to deal with anymore murder husbands. I just want to tuck her into bed and nurse her back to health 🥺

I’m also thinking Lera’s family and hiding her secret are going to become a problem very soon. We don’t know how hurt she is, but if she needs to go to a hospital or if anything is broken, that’s hard to hide. Maybe say it was a car accident or something, but it’s still a lot. And then Kir saw her driving off with Sergey, who is the least subtle ‘in disguise’ person ever lmfao. I think Kir’s gonna end up figuring it out soon

Anyway yeah, it was great! I feel this is a much comfier ending point though because even though I’m concerned for Lera, I’m not worried about her in the sense that I know she’ll be okay and alive. There’s rumours flowing that the september issue might be like a flashback special or something but everything’s very unconfirmed right now. And it will have a new artist, which as much as I love the current art, I’m glad the artist is taking a break cause it sounds like they really need it. I just hope it’s one of the other ones I really like skdlsklsd. Phobs would be a great choice, for instance. But yeah. Idk, I’m really curious where things are going to go! I really love this series and it’s like. It’s incredible to have canon give SO MUCH and go SO WELL lmfao. I am absolutely not used to this feeling but it feels soooo good

And I should be studying, but here are some thoughts for season 16 so far:

1 - Merluca and it’s parts: COUPLES FIGHT STOP PREDICTING THE WORST OK. They’ve been completely adorable so far, but this is what someone said in a interview: “This is the after in happy ever after” (or something to that effect). They’re gonna fight and them they’re gonna make up, I hope. As for their fight: They were both in the right imo. Yes, Meredith is being inconsequent and it must be so frustrating for Deluca to A)Have her continue risking her career and license and freedom when he went to such lengths to help that, B) Be crapped on constantly bc of something your girlfriend did. Yes, Meredith is completely right in fighting the system that is so throughtly broken, and yes, coming to apologize to her mentor and longtime friend was completely the right thing to do. I wanna see merluca wedding and marriage! Maybe (since there are two pregnant people in this season already?) next season will be Mer and Jo? One can dream! For them individually: Poor Mer, she has bitten more than she can chew but she is ready to take on this fight! Imma love to see her as auntie mer! I mis merjolex so much tho, I know she’s been busy and all but they seem to forget she is a important part in their support system. Andrew has been all over the place. I love his confidence, but in the ep where he literally screamed at Bailey over her trying to teach an intern? And called her out bc she was using a different material than Mer? I was a bit off-thrown. But he’s still a great character I enjoy watching. Hope they find the balance between confidence and arrogance for him, and develop him even more!

2 - Amelink: AAAAAA. They’re so amazing and perfect and sweet and I wanna hug them both. Link is everything you could wish for, Amy is adorable as ever. If they lay a finger on either them as a couple, them as individuals, or their baby, imma kick some asses. I don’t think they will tho, Amy is been through SO MUCH already and she deserves a breath.

3 - Bailey: OMG SHE IS PREGNANT AAAAAAAA. I’m so happy! Ben is already a great dad, this will be so fun to watch! Hope they don’t put her through the ringer with a difficult pregnancy or a sick child, she does not deserve this! She already nearly lost her first child while giving birth in a bomb-y hospital while her husband had brain surgery NEXT to the bomb. Enough pregnancy drama for a lifetime. As for her actions: I’ve said before: I’m pissed, yes. She’s acting way too harsh and taking it out on people and more importantly (as I’ve touched on in my female grey’s characters ranking post) she’s out of character. Where is the Bailey that went around the hospital runnning after the attendings and kicking their asses into signing her proposal for a free clinic? And gave them a speech on how they had failed her and she needed something to believe in in medicine? She was one of the first characters to point out how broken the system was, to take direct action to try and fix it. Sure, she likes to try and work within the rules as much as possible, much she is not adverse to breaking a few of them if she thinks it’s necessary (hello deactivated HIV inside a young boy’s body without parental consent! Hello changing the date on a surgery which is also insurance fraud!)! If she thinks it’ll save a life! But also, she’s not completely wrong: Meredith did commit a crime, as good as her intentions were; As her boss, firing her was the only logical decision. She thought her hospital (which she dedicated a good half of her life to) was being attacked by someone she trained into the surgeon she is, ofc she’d be mad as all hell. Quadri was disrespectful, not doing her job well, actively getting in the way of her superior doing her job, screaming at her boss in the middle of the hallway about how she didn’t want to work there - firing her was a tad extreme (specially for a charact who has never, herself, had any qualms ahout mouthing off to her own superiors when she didn’t think something was right) but not completely out of nowhere. I hate hate hate how they’ll probs throw a “oh she was being crazy bc pregnancy hormones!” line after seeing how her actions have been badly perceived by people (like there isn’t enough a stereotype that women can’t have positions of power because hormones make them crazy) instead of “hey this character was put in extremely uncomfortable and tough positiona after extremely uncomfortable and tough positions and came off as harsher than necessary while trying to balance a world-class hospital crisis”. Ugh.

4 - Jackson: Ok so the last few eps have rekindled my love for him and I’m relieved! There’s the good, kind, funny and smart guy I like! I was mad bc of the whole Jaggie drama, but hey, shit happens! If they will be better apart, then I’m happy! (Ok 50% of this is because of what he said to levi! Stanning Meredith Grey + dorky Harry Potter reference? Yes!!!!). I hope this season will be kind on him, that he and Vicky work out well (from what I gathered about it, she has also been through a lot) and that we see more Harriet!

5 - Maggie: Baby girl. I love that they’re consistent that she has a jealous streak but is also a very good person who is always trying her best. Plus, official womb secret bearer is the best title omg! Maybe she should change from cardio to obgyn, lol! Plus, the sisters are everything to me! She instantaneous knew Amy was mad! She stood up for Mer! Aaaaa I love them!!!! Hope this show ends with all three of them happy and loved and badass as always!

6 - Others: Tom has been an.... Interesting piece. I love him, but his antics are almost caricature-esque now and it’s getting on my nerves. He was detestable in exploitating that family’s pain but also, the hospital did need a pr boost or it’d be in even hotter waters! The restraining order on Owen was a tad much bc it got in the way of patient care, but also he did get electrocuted in a very sensitive area by someone who had just gotten together with his ex - I’d be a little suspicious that it was 100% unintentional tbh. He’s power drunk and needs to be turned down a notch. Schmit and Nico and adorkable as always and I loved Nico’s speech about demanding more of himself - That’s one of the biggest traps of low self-steem and Imm glad it’s mentioned. I’ll miss Quadri. Helm being a MeredithGrey stan first and person second is still me lol. I loved how this last ep showed how much of a family they are - all the connections and shared pasts and references to relationships and what not. The “bird” storyline was so cute! Pac North seems so promissing and I’ll cry ugly tears when my baby Alex turns that ish around and shows everyone who’s boss!!!! The whole “the world is broken” theme of the season is my jam! Sadly, irl that handful of people are not gonna turn it around, but I want to see it happen on my screen! The medical system being fixed! As a future doctor (I promissed myself I’d not be the person who brings it up in every opportunity but lol here I am) it’d make me so happy! Against my better judgment, I’m liking Towen! They are trying, they’re really trying! Owen has done nothing wrong so far (besides offering to milk teddy which was just dumb, not malicious) and has been great at stepping down from his job so she could work! And him at Pac North will be great tbh - as much as I didlike him, he is an excellent doctor and strategist and he was a great chief at GS (until the last bit which was just gross negligence). From the promo for next ep: I don’t think they’ll make Webber cheat again. It’d be predictable and cheap and I’d be so mad that we’d have another round of acting like he’s a saint with a tiny issue of being a cheater. What I theorize is: He’ll have lunch with his friend, and either A) She’ll be friendly at the wrong time and Catherine will walk in and then think he’s cheating and it’ll be a mess, or B) Gemma is gonna try to get him back to drinking (Or maybe C) She was telling him to stop being bullheaded and fighting with his wife when life is so short). Cristina reference in the text omg, my heart!
