tldr;
-- AMOS DE LEON is 38 years old and is a wilmington native. he became a pro tennis player at 16 years old and since then put his career over anything else in his life. he was always a free spirit, often found himself either training or enjoying life to the fullest. he got married at 29 years old but divorced his husband two years later bc he always preferred his career over creating a family and whatnot. which leads us to present time amos. at his age, playing is nearly impossible and he is having to face the fact that without tennis, he doesn't really know who he is. his answer to this has been to have some sort of identity crisis where all he does is party, drink and act out. so he's pretty much a mess and work in progress and is currently trying to figure his entire life out again. personality-wise: very extroverted, incredibly loyal when he cares, will find an excuse to fight anyone, indecisive, mischievous, doesn't take a lot of things seriously.
READ BELOW for fun facts, biography, possible connections.
random facts
has very silly, small tattoos all over his body and he can't remember how he got half of them. he also has one of his nipples pierced because he was dared to do it and he's not a quitter.
sundays are for surfing, sleeping in and loud music
doesn't wear a lot of jewelry except for a permanent bracelet given by his dads when he was just a baby. throughout the years, he's had to change and add room to it.
during his tennis career he earned more conduct sanctions than actual competitive titles, because of this he was considered a very volatile and aggressive player.
is known for throwing a summer bash at his beach house every year as a fourth of july celebration that normally ends up with some sort of drama or strange situation
believes in real love, like the one he saw with his dads growing up but struggles to open up enough to make real, long-lasting connections
he's so competitive that one time he played a monopoly game for over 8 hours just to get the win
he spends a lot of time at the country club, training in the tennis courts or lounging by the pool. also loves the nightlife and as someone very impulsive, will take random road trips without much of a warning
although he is disciplined and logical, follows his heart most of the times when it comes to important decisions in his life
biography
Born into a beautiful loving family, Amos De Leon saw and understood what real love and family was from a very young age. He witnessed his dads’ love and learned to be a big brother to his younger sister, Armi. The four were inseparable and incredibly lucky to have each other. Daniel and Tony always provided structure and warmth in their home, but by far, what shaped Amos into the man that he would eventually turn into was the way they always told their children to follow their dreams.
From a very young age, Amos was what most people would consider a prodigy. The boy lived and breathed tennis the moment that his hand met a racket and they never separated. He was up and training before school hours, and then after school. He’d always been ambitious but when he became old enough to join tournaments, that was when his fathers knew that there was no going back.
Despite his passion, Amos struggled with the discipline of a sport that always expected the best from its athletes. He was a free spirit just like his younger sister, and while his brain always wanted to win, his heart was more into running around, loving life, playing around town with his best friend, Kian. Instead of choosing one way though, by the time that he became a teenager, Amos had mastered his schedule and time like a pro. He was going to make it to the pros, no matter what.
His first sponsor signed him during his senior year of high school and when graduation came and went, Amos never looked back. From then on, his life became all about tournaments, opens, competitions. He would train in Wilmington, call it home, but would travel incredibly often for tennis-related things. If you ask him, this physical distance from his family is what ultimately made him begin to lose himself a little bit, because this is when Amos began to put the game above anything else, including love.
He was 29 and at the height of his career when he met Asher, the heir to a famous sports brand and who would eventually become his ex-husband. They’d always had a toxic relationship where they couldn’t find balance between Asher never having to work a day in his life and Amos always wanting to work and get better to be able to keep winning. For Amos, it was a struggle to find the time and effort to be a husband. As much as he loved Asher, he always found himself feeling like it wasn’t enough.
Marriage felt a lot like something that he needed to check off a list and not what he’d seen as he grew up with his fathers. So, it was a surprise to no one when Asher filed for divorce two years after their wedding, as by then, everyone knew that Amos had been seeing other people and had left their shared home with the excuse of needing to do what was best for his career and marriage, clearly, wasn’t it.
Amos never let himself miss his ex-husband, instead, he found himself at one of the best moments of his career. He won the U.S Open twice, then the Australian Open and eventually, and finally, Wimbledon. His life went back to what he’d always been: parties, hookups, drinks, women, men, fancy events, vacations, but he always found the time to fly back home. There was nothing like a hug from his dads, a beer with Kian and Armi, his own bed and he would not change that, not even for a longer career.
What Amos never took into consideration when he was younger was that sports careers are shorter than average, even if he was a top earner and competitor, at thirty-eight years old, Amos can’t keep up. In fact, most tennis players retire in their early thirties and he’s managed to add years into a career that has very quickly gone downhill. It was like right after winning Wimbledon, he could barely win anymore. Sponsors have slowly started to pull out of their contracts in the past five years and most recently, his coach announced that this will be his last season coaching him and as much as he likes to act like it’s not affecting him, it is.
What once had felt like his perfectly crafted life, Amos has begun to realize that is nothing but empty titles, trophies and a fame that will surely disappear when he stops playing and although he wants to fight it, he knows that in a year’s time, his life will not be the same. He can count the people that he cares for with one of his hands and can’t even put a name to most people that he has hooked up with, the realization hit him that he doesn’t want to be alone.
So, instead of trying to fix things, Amos has fallen into silent suffering and masking it with his usual repertoire of throwing parties, drinking and hooking up. When he’s not doing these things, he is lounging around the country club or his house, feeling incredibly sad but acting like he’s living his perfect almost retired life as he wraps up what will be his last season on the courts.
possible connections
friends, childhood friends, fwb, hook ups, one night stands, enemies, rivals, drinking buddies, partners in crime, love interests, anything you can think of that your character can fit into his life!

How Physical Therapy Treatment Works For Parkinson’s Disease?
Parkinson’s may be a nervous disorder caused by a lack of dopamine secretion from the basal ganglia. Parkinson’s disease mainly affects older people but also can occur in younger adults. The symptoms result from the gradual degeneration of nerve cells within a part of the brain that controls body movement. It's a progressive disorder that initiates with a negligibly noticeable tremor of a finger and spreads to other parts of the body. Although tremors are the commonly recognized symptoms of Parkinson’s, it's not the only sign of the disease.
Here are some of the things that a physical therapist will work for treating Parkinson’s Disease
Balance Work
Normal balance is an interplay among what you see (visual feedback), your internal ear (which helps you orient yourself), and how your feet sense the bottom beneath them. Parkinson’s disease can affect this balance system, making your gait (how you walk) unstable, which successively may cause you to fear being in public or crowded spaces. Gait training (practice walking) can help. Exercises that aim to enhance balance should be guided by a physical therapist, who can work with you to know any issues with balance and teach you ways to compensate.
Flexibility And Stretching
It's normal for patients with Parkinson's illness to grow tight hip flexors, hamstring, and lower leg muscles. To balance that solidness, it's ideal for extending at regular stretches for the day instead of simply once. Ask a certified mentor or advisor who spends significant time in Parkinson's to show you how.
Strength Training
Muscles normally debilitate with age, so strength preparation is significant for everybody. In any case, research proposes that muscle shortcoming is a more concerning issue for patients with Parkinson's infection. Contingent upon what phase of the illness you are in, an advisor may have you do opposition practices with light free weights or an obstruction band (a sort of thick elastic band). Pool-based classes, utilizing the water's protection from fortified muscles, can likewise be a solid match.
Reciprocal Movements
Reciprocal Movements are side-to-side and left-to-right patterns, for example, swinging your arms while going for ventures as you stroll. Parkinson's infection may influence these examples. Your specialist may assist you with building up corresponding measures by utilizing a prostate bike (a fixed bicycle where you sit in a leaned back position) or a circular machine (in which you operate your arms and legs). "Work on strolling, remembering the swinging of your arms. It might assist with reciting or singing to keep the beat." Dance classes and tai chi are additionally helpful.
Amplitude Training
A particular type of physical therapy treatment for Parkinson's illness is called LSVT Big preparing. (LSVT is Lee Silverman Voice Treatment. LSVT LOUD is a treatment to enhance the voice.) It's intended to assist patients with Parkinson's expansion, what we call playfulness of development. In LSVT LOUD, you make actual exaggerated developments, similar to high advances and arm swings. It's a method to retrain the muscles and hinder the movement of hypokinesia, the undeniably more modest, additional rearranging developments that occur with Parkinson's. Consult your doctor or physical therapist about LSVT Big.
It is important to note that our rehabilitation professionals work together as a team to help you reach goals along with family training for attaining maximum independence. Contact us about our in-home physical therapy in Wilmington, DE, New Castle County, DE, Kent County, DE and Delaware County, PA.

Next participant for #PrintCamp2019 Session 2/2 in alphabetical order:
AMANDA KRALOVIC
@calicovineprintshop
ON HER WORK:
My work is a reflection of what I see within this world and how my mind transforms it. In my everyday life, I correlate the past with the present, which bridges the connection between my mind and physical self.  My life is a constant struggle of working through the past and wandering through the present. I often find myself alone, consumed with my thoughts, emotions, and memories. Through the struggles of life, I learn and grow by translating this process onto paper.
I pull from both my past and present experiences, and layout onto paper my world, my thoughts and my feelings. Translating my physical and mental emotions, I extract shapes, patterns, and colors as visual metaphors. I work to create a language of communication through the use of physical and visual objects as they relate to the physical body and the emotional process of my mind’s thoughts and development.
My work is completed in layers, building up my surfaces layer-by-layer. Each layer is defined with color, using shapes and patterns to form each layer. As the layers come together they form imperfections, creating gaps, spaces and jagged edges that represent the realities of life.  Living in a world where nothing is perfect I struggle to hold myself together.  Through this analytical process of breaking the image down into layers and color, I pull not only the image together but also myself.
Recently, my work has been focused on the movement of water, both on the surface and underneath.  I am challenging myself to connect with the movement and sounds it makes both mentally, physically and emotionally. As a swimmer, I hid my emotions in the pool, now I aim to use water to portray my emotions more openly.  As well water is a reflective device that gives way when manipulated. In my upcoming works, I am planning to use floating and moving objects, such as the physical body, and portray what it does to the surface of water.
WHAT SHE WILL BE DOING AT PRINTCAMP:
I am hoping to develop a series of images with hand-drawn hands and feet manipulating water.  The water would be displayed through the use of pattern that has been manipulated by the computer and screen printed on matboard to make collagraph plates. Drawings of hands and feet will be added using litho – stone or photo.  As well I would be interested in working on a large 18” x 24” intaglio with sugarlift.
SKILLSHARE:
I would be happy to give a demo on using screen printing on mat board or other surfaces to create collagraph plates.  I have also been using a sugar lift solution to screen print on copper. I have been aquatinting it and layering it on the surface of the plate.

Things have unfortunately changed here - I received this in 6/2005: 'Thanks for your website. I was a season pass holder at Beaver Dam Swimming Club in MD from 1991 to 2002. In early 2002 they closed off about 1/4 of the shimming hole. In 2003 to present they closed off more than 3/4 of the hole. Now only the corner is open near the rope swing, even the cliffs are roped off. The roped off portion includes one of the logs. The reason for closing it off was 1) lost lawsuits and 2) Baltimore County regulations. My problem (aside from missing my summer swimming) is that neither Baltimore Magazine(who listed it last month) , your website, or the Beaver Dam website(link below) mention this. In fact they post old pictures on their website that indicate that long closed portions of the swimming hole are open. I wish you would indicate this on your website.' For luxury, go west 15 miles on I-68 to Rocky Gap S.P., expensive camping but very nice - on a big lake with swimming and boating and a lodge. BATHING SUITSVaries, see below DIRECTIONSFrom Hancock, take I-68 west. Then:
GREEN RIDGE 1 (GRE1): Near the town of Flintstone in Fifteen Mile Creek is a not terribly scenic but convenient and fun swimming hole with rope swing (someone usually puts one up every year). This place may have no water later in the summer. PHOTO 1, PHOTO 2 . Not really in the State Forest but nearby. Bathing suits customary (it is a local hangout). To get here: From I-68, take Exit 62 (Scenic 40 and Fifteen Mile Creek Rd) and go north onto Scenic RT 40. At about a mile, Scenic 40 will curve to the right. Go left onto Fifteen Mile Creek Rd (gravel). At approximately .8 miles, the swimming hole will be on the right, at a culvert/bridge just past Carpenter Rd. GREEN RIDGE 2 (GRE2): Near the town of Little Orleans in Fifteen Mile Creek are a series of pools along the creek. Also an outstanding large pool called Longs Pond. Great informal (backpack) camping spots. Bathing suits may be optional in places. To get here: From I-68, take Exit 62 (Scenic 40 and Fifteen Mile Creek Rd). Go south on Fifteen Mile Creek Rd (gravel, sometimes rough but passable in a car) for 2.6 miles, keeping left at all decision points (e.g., do NOT go onto Greenridge Rd.) At 2.6 miles (past campsite #55 but BEFORE campsite #56) you will go down a hill and cross a creek and see a trailhead on the immediate other side of this bridge. Park here. There is a trail information sign here saying Long Pond Ridge Trail. Take the trail downstream (left) along a stream (it is not Fifteen Mile Creek, yet). The trail is marked red on the maps and also is marked red on the trees. Walk about .6 miles to where the trail splits. The red trail (Long Pond Ridge Trail) continues to the right; a blue-blazed trail goes to the left after crossing a stream. From here, there appear to be two ways to go toward Long Pond - the 'Bushwack' way and the 'Long Pond Ridge Trail' way (below) - neither one is clearly better. Long's Pond: LAT, LON : lat=39.65842, lon= -78.44737(source: measured) (accuracy: exact) LINK TO GOOGLE MAP . Bushwack: If you take the blue-blazed trail you will soon come to a trail registry. In a short distance, when the trail begins to go steeply uphill. Here, leave the trail and wade across the creek and bushwhack pretty much straight downstream - there is an old overgrown road here which you are roughly following. (Keep on the lookout for snakes and use long pants and/or deet to repel ticks along the bushwacking parts of the trail.) You will bushwack for about 20 minutes, passing some wading/swimming places (and campsites) that are NOT Long Pond NOT LONG POND, then you will come to Long Pond itself which is a wide and deep spot on Fifteen Mile Creek with pronounced diagonally sloping rock strata on the rock bluff on the far side. LONG POND , LONG POND. There is a nice shady picnic area/campsite set up with natural stones to make seats. Pretty confident. Partially verified 4/04. Updated 6/2010. Long Pond Ridge Trail: At the trail split, you continue on the red trail, 'Long Pond Ridge Trail', and it rises very steeply, and the hike continues along the ridge before going down to the creek. From where the red and blue trails split to the bottom of the ridge is about a mile. Expect a steep, tiring hike of about 30 minutes from where the trails split - to be avoided unless you have good hiking shoes. When you finish the descent from the ridge, then you will see a 1.6 mile marker. Long Pond is maybe a hundred yards from there on the left. There is a path leading to it where people have set up a picnic area/campsite, so it is easy to spot. The water (in early June) was about 5 feet deep in a few places. As for bathing suits, the Pond is secluded in general, but not from the trail. Anyone hiking the red trail would be able to see. Pretty confident. Not verified. Updated 6/2010.
GREEN RIDGE 3 (GRE3): Swimming hole where 15 mile Creek dumps into the Potomac River. There is a boat ramp and there is usually a rope swing attached. The water is between 4' and 8' deep, depending on area and water level. The C&O Canal towpath allows you to cross the creek so you can enter the water on either side. You can swim in the creek or in the Potomac and even cross over to West Virginia.PHOTO. NOTE: Only adults who are also strong swimmers should enter the main stream of the Potomac, as the current is very strong. Sharing the area with locals and fishermen needs to be taken into account. For rafting / tubing, hike up the Potomac on the C&O Canal towpath as far as you want and you can raft down the Potomac back to your car. To get here: From MD I-68 take Exit 68 and go south on Orleans Road for about 6 miles. After 6 miles, take a left (east) at an intersection, where the signs point to the C&O Canal (right/straight continues west as Oldtown Orleans Rd). Pass by a small country store and outfitter shop called 'Bill's Place', pass under railroad tracks, and turn right immediately. Turn left at the campground entrance and cross the wooden bridge over the C&O canal. There is plenty of parking and several fee camping spots, with self-registration at $10 a night. (Recommend camping at one of the many camping spots at Green Ridge State Forest, which are more private ($7 a night). Plus size speed dating near ferndale missouri. To get here from I-68 in Cumberland, take RT 51 south for 20-25 miles. After you cross Town Creek (steel bridge) go about another .6 mile to a sign on the right that says Town Creek Aquaduct/ C & O Canal entrance. Turn right on to this access road and go until you come to the barricade at the end. About 200 yards before the barricade you will see a trail going down to your right. Ella Emhoff, Inauguration Day’s Breakout Fashion Star, Signed With IMG Models

Cole Emhoff (L) and Ella Emhoff, the stepchildren of Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris arrive during Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th President of the United States at the US Capitol in Washington on January 20, 2021. (Photo by Win McNamee / POOL / AFP) (Photo by WIN MCNAMEE/POOL/AFP via Getty Images)
Two days after National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman, the 22-year-old who performed her poem “The Hill We Climb” at Joe Biden’s Inauguration, was signed by IMG Models, the international modelling agency tapped Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff. On Thursday, IMG announced the Brooklyn-based fashion student and designer as the newest member of its roster.
“Ella communicates this moment in time,” Ivan Bart, the president of IMG Models, told The New York Times this week. “There’s a cheekiness and a joy she exudes.” Later, Bart told the publication that the moment Emhoff appeared on screen at the Inauguration — clad in a long, crystal-covered Miu Miu coat with a statement collar, he thought, “Wow, she’s communicating fashion.”
Emhoff — or as the internet likes to call her, the “First Daughter of Bushwick” — isn’t new to the fashion scene. She is a senior at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she majors in fine arts with a focus in textiles and a knitwear designer with a significant following on Instagram. What’s more, she’s already been modelling for a year, per The Times, but with representation from a smaller agent. Now with an agency that lists names like Alex Wek, Chanel Iman, and Ashley Graham backing her, it won’t be long before we’ll see her everywhere.
View this post on Instagram
A post shared by IMG Models Worldwide (@imgmodels)
The 21-year-old first caught our attention on November 7, when she arrived in Wilmington, DE, alongside thousands of excited (and relieved) Biden-Harris supporters, to congratulate her stepmother, as well as now-President Joe Biden, on their big win. For the occasion, Emhoff chose a pinstripe suit from The Frankie Shop, a trend-forward fashion brand and multi-brand retailer with brick-and-mortar shops in Paris and Manhattan’s Lower East Side. On her lapel was an American flag pin; on her feet, lug-soled loafers. The look was both appropriate for the occasion and representative of Emhoff’s style. (She told The Times that her uniform consists of black trousers and a white tank top.) Not long after, rumours swirled that she might knit her own suit for the Inauguration. Naturally, people online (myself included) got excited.
She ended up wearing a burgundy, three-quarter sleeve dress from New York-based indie label Batsheva, with her now-viral Miu Miu coat on over it. A black headband by Loeffler Randal that matched her handbag, leather gloves, and face mask completed the look — which was styled by Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, according to The Times.
According to the publication, Bart first set his sights on Emhoff prior to the Inauguration — at a fundraising event during Harris’ presidential primaries in the summer of last year: “I noticed her as soon as she walked in the door.”
Like what you see? How about some more R29 goodness, right here?

New story in Politics from Time: Reluctantly, Jill Biden Steps Onto Stage As a Potential First Lady
This article is part of the The DC Brief, TIME’s politics newsletter. Sign up here to get stories like this sent to your inbox every weekday.
Jill Biden knows her political value to her husband’s presidential bid. She is a former Second Lady of the United States and is second to none in her ability to introduce Joe Biden as a multi-dimensional human being, when he is often reduced to caricature. She had taken on some of the portfolio previously filled by the late Beau Biden, especially in letting the former Vice President talk through an issue he already had decided on. She is the gut check when her husband is getting sloppy, cocky or glum. The Jill Biden of 2020 is now fully integrated into the family business she married-into back in 1977.
Dr. Biden’s speech tonight at the Democrats’ virtual convention will re-introduce her to the country. It may be a template as to how she would serve as First Lady of the United States, or FLOTUS as the acronym goes. Unlike many of those who came before her, Dr. Biden hasn’t required a reboot or a makeover. From Day One of her husband’s campaign, she has presented herself as she wants to be seen. It’s not quite like a two-fer we got with Bill and Hillary Clinton in 1992, but we’re getting darned close to having a package deal. Having spent eight years in the White House bubble, Dr. Biden knows the paces. That doesn’t mean she’s entirely happy with them.
It’s no accident that she’ll be delivering her remarks live from the very Wilmington, Del., classroom where she taught in the early ‘90s. Around this time last year, after some back and forth as her husband was mid-campaign, the longtime teacher decided that she would return to the classroom for the Fall 2019 semester and her students these days Northern Virginia Community College in suburban D.C. When Winter 2020 came around — with the Biden bid looking like it was in trouble and might turn into a third failure for Joe Biden — Dr. Biden decided to take a sabbatical of sorts and spend her hours in the front of town halls, not writing seminars. It was the first time in close to 40 years she wasn’t carrying around papers to grade.
Dr. Biden — never Mrs. Biden, a title reserved for Joe Biden’s first, late wife — started keeping a public schedule that was busier than her husband’s, did solo fundraising calls and hired a few more hands to help manage what was increasingly becoming its own political campaign. Her travel schedule was packed and, unlike her husband, she wasn’t taking a private jet to the stops. All the while, she made clear that politics wasn’t for her. In Iowa last year, she told the story how, in 2003, she made a point of walking past a group of Democrats who were trying to get Joe Biden to seek the nomination over a meeting by their home pool. Her outfit: a bikini with the word “no” written on her belly. She’d be there when he ran, but don’t expect her to like it.
Over the last few months, as coronavirus has shifted what it means to campaign, Dr. Biden has kept up that series of public-facing events. Behind the scenes, aides say, she was instrumental in resolving differences in the party platform on education, negotiating a compromise between her husband’s education efforts and those of his former rivals who were further to the Left and pushing free-college-for-all.
The Biden campaign also made Dr. Biden the conduit for unconvinced members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to vent their frustrations with the Obama-Biden Administration, especially on deportations. She has even started studying Spanish to show respect. She also has developed a deft touch in helping raise support among LGBT voters — a far cry from what I saw one evening following her around a gay bar in Des Moines, Iowa, where she declared it her first such visit. (The campaign later corrected that to note she and the former V.P. had visited the Stonewall Inn in New York City previously.)
Perhaps her biggest thumbprint on the campaign is her role in advising on Sen. Kamala Harris as the V.P. pick. A close friend of their late son, Beau, Harris knew she was interviewing with both of his parents. Harris did a joint cyber-event with Dr. Biden during the process and both women felt good about the outcome. Aides do nothing to downplay Dr. Biden’s role in the selection.
“She’s the first person to talk to him when they wake up and the last one to talk to him before they go to bed. It’s a marriage, so of course, they talk about these things,” says Michael LaRosa, a former MSNBC producer who these days is Dr. Biden’s press secretary.
Her speech tonight at the virtual convention is in her way a milestone on what might be understood as “Jilly 2020,” to borrow the V.P.’s nickname for her. In an introductory video reviewed by TIME, the former Vice President leans into his wife’s identity as an educator. “Teaching is not what Jill does. It is who she is,” Joe Biden says. “Jill just simply cares.”
If Biden does win, don’t expect Dr. Biden to trade the classroom for an office in the West Wing office, a la Hillary Clinton. Dr. Biden taught all eight years that her family lived at V.P.’s mansion at One Naval Observatory Circle. Her small motorcade delivered her to Northern Virginia Community College and her Secret Service detail dressed as students. When students recognized the name, she would simply say that Joe Biden is a relative. If students wouldn’t let up, she’d remind them that she was their teacher while she was on campus. Even as she worked at the White House on issues facing military families, she often flew on government jets with piles of homework to review. In one case, President Barack Obama stopped to say hello to her while the pair flew to a community college in Michigan, only to find her with a red Sharpie in hand. Michelle Obama told an interviewer in 2016 that she often forgot that Dr. Biden still had a day job.
Dr. Biden has said she would return to campus even if her husband prevails. Professor FLOTUS would be a new one, but Dr. Biden has shown that while she respects norms and ceremony, she’s not one to be limited by them. On the eve of the New Hampshire primary, we were in a school gym in Manchester when a man started to heckle the former V.P. Dr. Biden rose from her seat 28 second later, walked around the stage and physically blocked the interruption. A month later, Dr. Biden grabbed the wrists of vegan protesters who had jumped onto stage in Los Angeles. Her explanation? “I’m a good Philly girl,” Dr. Biden told reporters.
Let’s see what that Philly girl brings to her biggest political night yet.
Make sense of what matters in Washington. Sign up for the daily D.C. Brief newsletter.
