Seeing Nightmare Moon in the Ponycraft 2 video sparked my curiosity to see the context for all the clips they used. At first it was just amusing how they were able to find clips that fit well with the Starcraft audio, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized the clips didn’t match my expectation of what My Little Pony was.

Since all of season 1 was on youtube, it was easy to watch and get sucked in to the fandom. The rest is history.

i love minecraft but it feels wrong to play it without the ponycraft mod. i dont care about mlp even slightly but like.. so much of my time in minecraft was spent playing with that mod, cuz it made the villagers look like cute ponies and i loved mlp at the time, back when there was the infinite villager duplication glitch in like... beta 1.7 or something?? i used to make artificial villages by rescuing a couplw zombie villagers and making them breed over and over thru the glitch til i had hundreds of them. i got in a lot of trouble for slowing down the server i was on and had to cull them all... lol....... that was such a long time ago. in any case i hope that mod updates to 1.14 soon.. i want villager ponies....
