that makes me think about how for marcille 4 years isnt the longest time, like maybe some months by our timescale. a college semester or two maybe. but for falin? for a young human to find out someone still thought about you, still held love (platonic, romantic or otherwise) for you after FOUR YEARS of no contact?? the warmth she must have felt from that
