ALIEN TRANSFORMATIONS

A bunch of Ben's alien transformations (along with Gwen's and a few others) for the Study of Alien Philosophy AU. Ben has not named any of his aliens and calls them by their species names as they were written in the book.

They are not in order, only drew those I felt like drawing

(SCP×Cuphead) Devil's First Mission (as an Involuntary Agent): Retrieving an escaped SCP-953 (March 2023)

I wish I could draw fight scenes: both of them taking on different forms as they brawl it out, SCP-953 trying to psychologically manipulate/entrance Devil, and the Devil using his growing stress/anger to deliver blasts of fire to deter her. It ends with Devil using his remaining energy to keep a weakened SCP-953 leashed with an Octopus arm as MTF operatives arrive. SCP-953 doesn't resist capture, but in her cell, she ominously express interest in the Devil as a worthy opponent. She's looking forward to a rematch and will find joy in tormenting him in future battles.

Let's just say during his time in the SCP foundation, the Devil's enemy list gets long pretty quickly.

I saw someone call Husk a Tressym once and from then I knew I couldn't rest until I drew a DnD AU.

Alastor is a sorcerer , Niffty is his witch apprentice and Husk is his familiar that he polymorphed into a man (mostly successfully). Al does his broadcasts via sending stones and travels the land for some of that sweet, sweet content.

I wanted to keep drawing some pern dragon stuff because I'm now writing a full AU set in weyr but I didn't want to put this stuff on my main blog or patreon due to it being basically for my own reference, though i felt others would like it too! so here is My Take On Dragon Wings By Type...

It's no secret I love drawing bird wings and prefer them a lot over traditional dragon wings. Growing up, I read the pern books featuring cover art of dragonfly-like wings with lots of little translucent panels, which I always loved. So I thought I'd try to nail down some wing shapes & structures by blending those two things i like together. I am aware dragons fly by telekinesis but I prefer a more realistic type of creature design so I will be choosing to ignore that fact. I do not care about strict canon compliance but I do like to keep some of that framework there as well, for fun.

The wing is made up of three main sails, as well as a propatagium sail (in front of the elbow). They are relatively polymorphic and can expand or contract to an extent to change the shape of the wing in response to flight demands, like the wing of an airliner. The trailing edge can expand and the slots between the spars of the 1st wingsail can deepen or become shallower (where those are a feature). The main structural matrix is opaque, while the membranous 'sails' are translucent and let light through like stained glass. These are a bilayer of membrane with air sandwiched between, which forms part of the air sac & respiratory system.

It makes sense for the original engineers of dragons to diversify dragon wing types by colour so that when fighting Thread, there's a dragon for every conceivable aerial job.

Queens have the longest wings, though the largest bronzes can rival them for surface area. Gold wings are high endurance - a queen can fly further than any other dragon in active level flight, leaving even the swiftest bronzes behind if they can't muster up the energy reserves to catch her. She is an effective flier at all elevations and can pass very low over terrain without issue as well; she is an expert at taking advantage of the ground effect, where extra lift is generated within one half of a wingspan above land. This way, she can pass low below the main wings fighting Thread to catch any stragglers without expending too much energy. However, she is not very agile and may need a bit of a run-up or cliff-edge to get airborne.

Bronzes are suited for command positions during Threadfall, rising highest and maintaining that altitude effortlessly by soaring on thermals. From this vantage point they can easily survey the wings of riders below and make tactical decisions to direct the tide of battle. They have the size and stamina to chase queens, but might find it difficult to keep up on the flat, so they continually select for fitter hatchlings as only the best manage to mate. It takes a very clever and agile bronze to catch a green, if they are so inclined.

Browns are swift, highly agile, and the fastest vertical fliers, ideal for diving through the Thread mass from top to bottom while the other types pass horizontally. During earlier Passes, browns were capable of using their speed to catch queens, but as queen & bronze endurance gradually increased, browns struggle to keep up if they haven't managed to immediately catch their mate in the starting scrum, which is unlikely due to the bulkier bronze dragons being able to shove the browns aside.

Blues are fast on the flat and nicely manoeuvrable, with enough endurance to last a full Threadfall. Good all-rounders with a characteristic vertical take-off, they work best in the horizontal plane in battle but really they can do a little bit of everything. They often beat browns to catch greens, being very precise in flight and almost as manoeuvrable as their green mates.

Greens make up for their low stamina with their extreme manoeuvrability. Their short and elliptical wings let them turn on a dime, hover, and even fly backwards if they are sufficiently skilled. They have the fastest wingbeats, flying with a distinct thrumming sound. Of all the types they are least likely to be hit by a stray Thread, but they tire easily on the flat and have no soaring ability at all, often tapping out midway through battle in favour of replacements. In battle, greens excel at catching odd and skewed clumps of Thread that don't fall as predicted, or ones that are missed by the other riders. Green mating flights are a whole different beast to gold mating flights, where extreme aerial acrobatics are favoured instead of endurance and altitude, and these flights may be over within seconds. You need to be able to withstand a Lot of G-force to be a green rider.

Going to make this post mostly about this au's omnitrix, otherwise known as the Omninomicon which takes the form of a book about every alien species instead of a watch.

"Omni" meaning 'all' and "-Nomicon" referring to a book of knowledge on the specified topic.

The user can summon the Omninomicon at anytime as well as bring it back to their hands if thrown. It can also be read normally as a book in its default state.

It started off with no aliens unlocked, only if the user has understood the species it has described in the text, then a hologram of their silhouette will form above its page, indicating that the user can transform into them.

SPECIAL

Special gimmick about the Omninomicon is it's ability to transform others. However, it needs to meet these requirements:

The user must be familiar with the selected species

The user must be familiar with the other person(s)

The user must have the intention to transform the both parties

It will transform everyone into the same species but it cannot transform everyone into more than one different aliens. Like if the user wants to transform into a polymorph and the other a Pyronite, it cannot do that.

So I was thinking more about the path of hero's au, and I love the idea that when Twilights Lycanthropy is revealed he feels really bad about it, like even though everyone took it quite well his anxiety still gets to him, And as a way to try and make him feel better Red convinced Vio, Legend, and Hyrule to turn into wolves with him when Twilights in his wolfie form and moping to try and help him feel better Red, Legend, and Hyrule all know Polymorph and Vio knows wild shape, so like a scenario might go something like this: "those towns folk really made him feel bad huh?" Legend questioned looking up from the patchwork on Hyrule's cloak to watching as Wild, attempted to console a mopping Twilight, though the wolf just whined and buried himself further under his bedroll "yeah.... I wish there was something we could do to make him feel better" Hyrule sighed, it wasn't too hard a thing for the group of mix matched hero's to accept Twilight's secret, but now that they know, either Twilight stopped hiding it or its just become more obvious about how hurtful comments about werewolves being monsters is, and the comments from the towns folk when restocking supplies were....particularly awful, though seeing as to how they treated their....less human looking companions, it shouldn't have surprised them, Hyrule's wings chimed as they turned to look, surprised to see Red dragging Vio along behind him towards them and Legend, "oh! Red Vio? you decided to split tonight?" Red nodded, eyes shiny and tail wrapped around his leg "yeah...Four tried to go help twilight but even his attempts at relating to comments we've all gotten as Tiefling's wasn't able to help him feel better..." Red sighed, letting go of Vio's hand and plopping down next to hyrule, looking a little more cheery "We split because the others wanted to try something themselves, but I happened to over hear you and I had an idea!" Red chirped, as Vio came and silently sat down next to Legend, creating a small circle amongst the magic users. Hyrule raised an eyebrow, leaning forward on their knees, "oooo? what do you have in mind! it's awful seeing Twilight so upset" Hyrule whispered, eager to have any way to try and make their brother feel better. Red grinned in return scooching forward a bit more and gesturing to Vio, who in turn pulled out a small bag "So you, Legend, and I know how to use polymorph" Red said and Vio opened the back to reveal a white powder, Crushed caterpillar cocoons, "and Vio knows how to use wild shape, so...what if we turned ourselves into wolves!" Red whispered conspiratorially, Hyrule started bouncing a bit, their wings making a happy chime as Legend looked between the two, then looked at Vio, who gave him a small smile nudging Legend in the arm, "you'll get to bite Wars." Almost instantly Legend grabbed the bag and stuffed his hand inside, "alright, I'm down" Rubbing the powder on hands, he brought his hand up to his shoulders, and after a short moment, and a poof of feathers and smoke in Legends place sat a medium sized wolf with pink streaks in its grey and white fur, Red grabbed the bag next, his fur patterns looking almost like flames and then Hyrule next who was a much lighter green than Twilight. As the three looked to Vio, they were already shaking their fur out, Red yipped a bit and bolted off to Twilight, tackling him to the ground at the other three joined him, Twilight looked...baffled to say the least as Hyrule plopped down on his other side, Vio and Legend were close but not quite pressed against Twilight, the other members of the chain laughing out at the sight. After a moment Twilight seemed to calm down and feel a bit better, snickering as Legend, indeed ended up biting Warrior when he tried to pet him, maybe he really will be ok in the end...

Polymorph HRT

I love this for trans people and alterhumans, so I'm going to make an AU of us transitioning, but since the other comics are about our real life, we probably won't include anything from this in those. The outfit is because I know we'd misinterpret the "prove you're really otherkin" thing + I haven't seen one where they wear gear at all. -📟 and I think 🌧?

been very absent lately have a quick fanart 🙌

this one is still apart of my dragon!krs au, so why are rok soo’s ears round here? polymorphing. he chose to look human because he really didn’t want the trouble of having elf ears (for various slacker life related reasons) 🥸. I also specifically made his hair a darker shade of his usual cale henituse red, i think it suits his dragon self better and it resembles blood more 😎.
