As 2025 is here, I have made my first OC in 2025. In fact, this is my first Self Insert OC based off The Boys Comics. Meet the first 2025 OC/Self Insert of the year, Polygon! Polygon is a two faced dimensional object that can shapeshift into anything she wants. Polygon was tested and experimented many times to be put into a team called “Geometry Equilateral Polygons”. This is a group of members that can consist of Shapeshifting to any shape, or in that case, any animal or person. However, they will still have the skin of shape like creatures. She is the main cast of the group and is the most well known teammate along with Polygem out of all of the group members. A little bit to note how Polygon was experienced is when she was 18, she was being exposed to being digitally representing her physical form based off her appearance when she was still a human with the experimenters using computer software to harm her appearance, and changing most of her personality. That’s how she turned into a supe with her body being based around shapes. She is in a Relationship with A-Train, she met him when they both were at Herogasm. I love how this character and some of their information turned out. What do you guys think of Polygon? And what should I change for some of her information? Feel free to let me know!

opinion on polygems? (by which i mean amethyst/pearl/garnet but I’d love to hear your opinions on other polyships too)

I wouldn't be opposed to the concept if not for The Sardonyx Incident I feel like that killed the idea of pearl and garnet romance for me. I DO like the concept of poly ships in general though its something I'm in the process of opening my wet little brain to i think amethyst/peridot/lapis is interesting although I imagine the drama in that relationship would be plentiful. I also think that pearl and bismuth could have a side piece but idk who 🤔 honestly whether a character would be poly or not as a person is an interesting thought experiment and if they are poly whether or not they could handle having a functional relationship with not just one but multiple people. for instance pre character growth I think if lapis had to content with peridot dating other people she would probably scream and cry and throw up but I can see her being more open to the idea as she matures.

Garnet dad-snoring head cannon is so funny to me. Like the quiet, stoic and wise gem is not so quiet when asleep.

But also like, in PolyGem, Pearl and Rose are cuddling up with each other and then Garnet and Amethyst start snoring and Rose could just throw her hair over them to muffle their snoring.

Pearl gets quiet for her sleep, Garnet and Amethyst gets their girlfriend’s hair as a blanket. Rose gets to keep her sanity.

It’s a win win.
