Summary (Short series):
The story follows an omega, enslaved and owned by JYP, who encounters Felix, a kind-hearted member of the SKZ pack. Felix feels sympathy for her and decides to bring her back to his pack, only to discover she is the last remaining soulmate. While Minho shows a protective side toward her, Hyunjin and Seungmin are openly hostile, leading to tension within the pack. As the omega grows closer to Han and distanced from Felix due to the negativity, Felix becomes affected by the situation.
The plot thickens with Felix’s impending heat and a studio lock-in with Chan. After winning an award, Hyunjin’s rejection of the omega drives her to isolate herself, exacerbating her discomfort. A vacation to the cabins sees new threats as wolves attempt to kidnap Felix, the omega, and Han. The situation leads to intense heat cycles, and the pack dynamics become even more strained. I.N struggles with his feelings towards the omega, bound by pack rules that only Bangchan can mark her first.
Despite challenges, including social media backlash against Felix and overwhelming experiences in public, the omega finds solace in gardening and caring for animals. The story resolves with pack members addressing their conflicts, accepting one another, and finding a balance in their complex relationships.

You woke up feeling an unusual heaviness in your limbs, a dull ache in your head, and a scratchy throat that seemed to have appeared overnight. The bed that once felt like a sanctuary now felt like a trap as you struggled to sit up, a wave of dizziness crashing over you.
“Ugh, I feel terrible,” you mumbled to yourself, barely recognizing your own voice. Your throat felt like sandpaper, and each word was a laborious effort. You reached for your phone, squinting at the bright screen to check the time. It was still early, but you knew you needed help.
“Hey guys, I think I’m sick,” you texted the group chat with your husbands. Your fingers felt clumsy, and even typing out that short message seemed to drain what little energy you had left.
It wasn’t long before you heard footsteps hurrying down the hall. The door to your room creaked open, and Minho’s concerned face appeared, quickly followed by Felix and Chan. Minho, always the observant one, was the first to approach your bed.
“Y/nnie, why didn’t you say something sooner?” Minho’s voice was gentle but laced with worry as he placed the back of his hand on your forehead. “You’re burning up.”
Felix knelt by the bed, his brows furrowed in concern. “You should’ve called us earlier. We’re here to take care of you, remember?”
Chan sat on the edge of the bed, his eyes filled with concern. “Don’t worry, we’ve got you. Let’s get you comfortable first.”
Minho disappeared into the kitchen, determined to make you some soup. You could hear the clattering of pots and pans, a reassuring sound that brought a small smile to your lips despite the discomfort.
Felix, always the sweet one, began massaging your aching limbs. His touch was gentle and soothing, working out the tension that had built up in your muscles. “This will help you feel better, I promise,” he said softly, a comforting warmth to his words.
You managed a weak smile, appreciating the effort they were putting into making you feel better. “Thanks, Felix. It already helps.”
Felix grinned, his freckles dancing on his cheeks as he did. “Good, because I’m not stopping until you’re back to your usual self. And I might throw in a few jokes to speed up the process.”
You chuckled weakly, the sound turning into a cough that made your throat burn. Felix’s hand stilled for a moment, but he quickly resumed, trying to soothe the discomfort.
Chan reached over and took your hand in his, his grip firm yet gentle. “I won’t let you go through this alone. We’re here for you, no matter what.”
A tear slipped down your cheek at his words, not from sadness but from the overwhelming gratitude you felt. “You guys are amazing. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Minho returned with a steaming bowl of soup, the aroma filling the room and making your stomach growl despite the nausea. “Alright, time for some of my special homemade soup. It’s guaranteed to make you feel better.”
He sat beside you, carefully blowing on a spoonful of soup before bringing it to your lips. “Open up, Y/nnie. Just a little at a time.”
You obediently opened your mouth, the warm broth sliding down your throat and instantly providing a bit of relief. Minho continued to feed you patiently, ensuring you ate slowly so as not to upset your stomach further.
“Thank you, Minho. This is really good,” you said between sips, feeling a bit of strength returning with each spoonful.
Minho smiled, his eyes soft with affection. “Anything for you. Just focus on getting better, okay?”
As the day went on, the three of them took turns tending to your needs. Felix continued his massages, cracking silly jokes that made you smile even when you didn’t think you had the energy to.
“What did the sick tomato say to the other tomato?” Felix asked with a grin.
You raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. “What?”
“I’m feeling a bit under the weather,” Felix replied, wiggling his eyebrows comically.
You couldn’t help but laugh, the sound blending with a cough. “That’s terrible, Felix.”
He laughed along with you, the sound lightening the heavy atmosphere in the room. “I know, but if it makes you smile, it’s worth it.”
Chan was your constant source of comfort, his presence a soothing balm to your fevered state. Whenever you felt cold, he would wrap his arms around you, holding you close and sharing his warmth. “I’m not going anywhere,” he’d whisper, his breath tickling your ear. “I’ll be right here, I promise.”
You leaned into his embrace, finding solace in his steady heartbeat and the gentle rise and fall of his chest. “I don’t want to get you sick,” you murmured, though your words were half-hearted. The comfort he provided was too precious to refuse.
“You won’t,” Chan assured you, his voice firm and unwavering. “Taking care of you is more important. We’ll worry about me later.”
Minho kept the soup coming, ensuring you stayed hydrated and nourished. He even prepared some herbal tea, its soothing properties helping to ease the soreness in your throat. Each sip felt like a small victory, a step closer to feeling normal again.
“Minho, you’re really good at this,” you said after finishing another bowl of soup. “Have you been practicing?"
He chuckled, shaking his head. “Just years of taking care of you all. Plus, it’s easy to put in the effort when it’s for someone as special as you, my beautiful wife,” he winked at you, making you blush softly.
The day stretched on, with Felix’s jokes becoming a steady background to the symphony of Minho’s cooking and Chan’s comforting presence. The combination of their care and the medicine they brought you gradually began to ease your symptoms.
As the sun set and the room grew dim, Minho suggested you try to get some rest. “Sleep is the best medicine, after all. We’ll be right here if you need anything.”
You nodded, feeling the weight of the day’s exhaustion settling in. “Thank you, all of you. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Felix tucked the blankets around you, his touch gentle and reassuring. “You don’t have to worry about that because we’re not going anywhere.”
Chan kissed your forehead, his lips cool against your fevered skin. “Sweet dreams, Y/nnie. We’ll be here when you wake up.”
You drifted off to sleep, their presence a comforting anchor in the haze of your illness. The night passed in a blur of fevered dreams and intermittent wakefulness, but every time you opened your eyes, one of them was there, keeping watch and ensuring you were never alone.
The next morning, you woke to the sound of quiet chatter and the smell of fresh coffee. Blinking blearily, you saw Minho setting a tray with breakfast on your bedside table, Felix fluffing the pillows behind you, and Chan smiling warmly from the foot of the bed.
“How are you feeling today?” Minho asked, his voice gentle as he helped you sit up.
“A bit better,” you admitted, surprised at the improvement. “Still tired, but not as bad as yesterday.”
Felix grinned, his eyes sparkling with relief. “That’s what we like to hear. More soup?”
You nodded, grateful for their continued care. “Yes, please. I think it’s working.” Minho handed you a bowl, and you sipped the warm broth slowly, savoring the taste. “Thank you, Minho. This really is the best soup I’ve ever had.”
He smiled, a hint of pride in his eyes. “I’m glad you like it. There’s plenty more where that came from.”
As you ate, Chan took your hand in his, his thumb rubbing soothing circles on your skin. “We’ll keep taking care of you until you’re back to full strength. No rush.”
Felix leaned in, his expression playful. “And I’ve got plenty more jokes to keep you entertained. Ready for another one?”
You laughed, the sound feeling more natural and less strained. “Always.”
“What do you call fake spaghetti?” Felix asked, his grin widening.
“I don’t know, what?” you replied, curious despite yourself.
“An impasta!” he exclaimed, his eyes crinkling with amusement.
You couldn’t help but laugh, the silly joke lifting your spirits. “You’re ridiculous, Felix.”
“But you love me for it,” he shot back, his grin infectious.
Chan squeezed your hand gently. “And we all love you, Y/nnie. We’re here for you, no matter what.”
Tears of gratitude welled up in your eyes again, but this time, they were accompanied by a genuine smile. “I love you all too. Thank you for everything.”
The rest of the day passed in a similar fashion, with Minho ensuring you were well-fed, Felix keeping you entertained, and Chan providing constant comfort. They took turns sitting with you, their presence a constant reminder that you were loved and cared for.
By the time night fell again, you felt significantly better. The fever had subsided, and the aches in your body had lessened. You knew you still had a way to go, but with them by your side, you felt confident you could handle anything.
“Feeling ready for bed?” Chan asked as he helped you settle back under the blankets.
“Yeah, I think so,” you replied, exhaustion creeping in once more.
Felix kissed your forehead gently. “Sweet dreams, Y/nnie. We’ll be here when you wake up.”
Minho adjusted the covers one last time, his touch tender. “Rest well. Tomorrow will be even better.”
As you closed your eyes, you felt a sense of peace wash over you. Surrounded by their love and care, you knew you were in the best possible hands. And with that comforting thought, you drifted off to sleep, your heart full of gratitude and affection for the three amazing men who had shown you just how much they cared.

Imagine like waking up and being needy because wouldn’t if your boyfriends are Felix and chan. So you decide to be nice and start to press kisses all over Chan’s neck sometimes slightly biting down on the skin of his soft neck, when you feel Felix hands wander over your chest and suddenly you hear his deep voice right beside your ear “wanna make our Channie feel good Sunshine?” Felix deep voice made you shiver but you nod anyway moving your hand downward to Chan’s morning wood, as you slowly push your hands inside Chan’s boxers while Felix whispered praises in you ear with his deep voice. As you wrap your hand around Chan’s dick he whines in his sleep letting out a breathy moan at the feeling of your soft hands around him.
Now u can suffer with me from the thought of pleasing both chan and Felix 🫠🫠🫠
Oh bestie, this is more than just pleasing Chan and Felix, this is everything I could have asked for with poly Chanlix - Felix being the instigator and you being the partner in crime to all his naughty ideas~
Felix murmuring against your lips how you should give Chan something nice to wake up to since he stayed up for so long, and you aren't deaf to his insinuations - especially when he uses your hand to reach behind and feel Chan's morning wood.
The sheer amount of ease it is to get Chan into his back without making too much of a fuss, followed by the both of you shuffling midway down the bed; you on one side of Chan's legs, with Felix on the other.
This is one of the moments you're slightly annoyed he chose to wear underwear to bed, but with two sets of hands it doesn't take long for that problem to be remedied. Before you know it, you're peppering kisses up Chan's cock while Felix is whispering hushed praise.
"Just like that, sunshine, don't wanna wake him up just yet." "Make sure to get it wet, you know how he is - need me to help you?"
That's when you're both making out with Chan's dick between both your lips - all tongue and spit and needy whimpers and whines; you suck on the tip while Felix works the shaft, before alternating effortlessly.
It doesn't take long for the telltale signs of Chan's impending orgasm, the throbbing against your tongue welcome as Felix eggs you on to deepthroat.
"Fuck, look at you - doing such a good job angel-"
He's cut off by a sharp gasp, Chan suddenly snapping himself awake before moaning loudly, hands scrambling to hold onto something for his own sanity.
"W-What- Oh, fuck, fuck, 'm gonna-"
His orgasm takes him by storm, his cum costing your tongue and filling your mouth faster than he can comprehend.
You take it with a needy moan, humming around his tip before pulling away; only to tug Felix toward you and pressing your lips to his, parting them to let the cum slip into is own mouth.
The moan he let's out matches your own as you both make out with the taste of Chan's cum in your tongues - it's hot, it's sloppy, and so, so satisfying.
Chan watches you both, breathless and dazed, until the two of you turn to gaze at him with desire plainly written on your features. "So... I guess neither one of you wants to be able to walk today."

The villain of the city, it was fun for you until it wasn't. You yearned to wreak havoc upon those who always judged you, made you feel like a monster, to those who managed to pierce your heart with their disgusting words that had been thrown at you with such ease. That, was your origin story. Maybe in another life you'd be living in a small cottage outside the busy day to day life of a place which was filled with cars, buildings, noise, and more cars. You wouldn't have to fret over public appearances, despite your masked form, the 'Shadow' that haunted Seoul. You wouldn't have to pretend anymore to fight against your lover, the hero who had made everyone feel safe again, feel safe just because you purely existed.
Lee Felix. A ball of sunshine. No, literally, he could blind any foes with his bright, burning orbs, torching their skin, destroying their vision, with indefinite permanence. The 'Blaze' that could never be outshined by anybody.
Oddly enough, such darkness and lightness coexisting meant that the two of you were bound to meet, bound to fight, bound to be fated together.
┊ ➶ 。˚ °
News reporters from several different channels were immediately sent out in their vans once they caught word of another fight between Shadow and Blaze happening in the center of the city. And soon enough they were met with quite a rewarding sight for their careers.
Shadow was sprinting as fast as possible, slipping into dark alleyways and cursing Blaze in her mind when he managed to invade her spots and shine light from his scarred hands in order to 'catch' her.
Not long ago, she had trapped some men in a bubble of darkness before she sweeped the streets and did the same to a woman around her age. Of course, citizens of Seoul were terrified, hoping not to face that same choking, suffering and horrifying feeling of being unable to move and left to hear all of their own thoughts. Her darkness was one that nobody would want to experience.
Enter Blaze, here to save the day. Per usual, he threw on his big smile and reassured scared crowds of people that they were safe when he was there, a slight sadness in his voice that went undetected.
There to capture the chase across the city, were helicopters filming from above, the whirring of the vehicles making Shadow smirk from beneath her black veil. What an amazing show they were creating. She skidded round the corner, her shoes leaving tracks of obsidian. Small pieces of tarmac flew up, scraping the backs of her legs. Blaze was only a few feet behind her. He was running at the speed of light, perks of the job. Keeping up the act, Blaze had freed the trembling victims of Shadow's wrath, and directed emergency services towards them. They'd be fine, in all due course.
Shadow panted as she came to a hault, finding herself in a dead end of the road, construction equipment and barriers up, stopping her in her path.
"End this now, Shadow," Blaze righteously spoke, projecting his voice so that everyone could hear him.
"End what? It's such a lovely day, is it not, my dear ray of sunshine?" Shadow cackled, dark storm clouds threatening to cloak the city in its grey, velvety blanket of gloom.
"You've caused enough chaos around here!" Blaze boomed in his deep voice, cutting through the clouds and letting spires from the sun creep through and soothe the dull of the city.
"Not quite," Shadow smirked, before moving her hands round in circular motions.
She summoned decaying vines, uprooting the concrete nature of man made civilisation, and introducing it to the lives that inhabited it. There were screams of terror as people got wrapped tightly, like they were being swallowed up by the grip of a cobra's coil. Fallen. Shaking.
"Not this again, she said she wouldn't do this anymore," Blaze sighed, before boosting his form up from the ground and propelling small flames towards the vines, breaking them apart and releasing more and more people from their encaged nightmares.
"Oldest trick in the book, sweetie," Shadow grinned widely, a black tongue sticking out past her lips as she teased the villain once more.
Oh how he wished she wouldn't tease him so much, but she knew he could handle it, he supposed, and he knew she'd be able to handle the actions he was about to take.
"Shadow!" Felix projected his voice once more, "you have terrorised this city one too many times!"
And with that, he blasted her a few streets away, making sure she had wrapped herself up in her elusive, shimmering cloak before he did so.
Screams of joys and cheers erupted around the city, people gathering around Blaze and praising him before he saluted them and vanished before their very eyes. He found where Shadow was immediately, hidden around an abandoned street where they knew nobody would see them. Or so it seemed.
"Y/Nnie, you ok love?" Felix approached the dark spot quickly, a grin appearing on his face when he saw the exhausted smile of his lover.
"That was quite the show," Y/N applauded her boyfriend before they embraced for a moment, her cloak slightly slipping off of her shoulders.
"You're telling me that? You trapped more people than normal in those dark bubbles, making me work harder you are," Felix chuckled and poked her cheek.
"Gotta switch it up?" Y/N shrugged, relishing the physical contact she had with Felix, appreciating his presence. It soothed something inside of her, made her calm.
"Who was it this time?" Felix prompted, wanting to know why she had trapped those certain people. Y/N always had a reason for these things, despite what the public view was. No one would believe that the villain thought carefully about who she targeted, why would they? They saw her as a reckless heathen who didn't belong anywhere.
"Well first, there was this group of perverted guys creeping on some teenage girls," Y/N began, her fingers stroking delicately over Felix's hands. He watched her explain with full attention.
"Mm, fair, ok, and what about that girl, she was like the same age as you, I swear," Felix wondered.
"Oh, her, ugh," Y/N rolled her eyes.
"You know her, love?" Felix tilted her chin up so she'd look up at him.
"Stacey Arnold, locked me in the cleaning cupboard at high school..." Y/N trailed off with a sigh. Black smoke lifted from her her hands covered in the same colour as she reflected on those torturous years.
"And...?" Felix rose an eyebrow, subtly switching the grips of their hands so that he could eradicate the air of her stygian darkness.
"Why does there have to be an and?" Y/N grumbled, still hesitant sometimes to reveal what had happened in her past. Hesitant to reveal what made her feel like a shameful being, a monster on the hill.
"There always is," Felix sang lowly, pressing his forehead against hers.
"She cut off a chunk of my hair," Y/N grumbled, kicking some stones.
"Oh no I love your hair," Felix pouted, pulling away to touch her hair and admire it.
"I'm starting to think my hair is so dry because of the heat from your hands when you're grabbing it," Y/N joked, teasing Felix about when he'd get all hot and bothered, like now, even when he was blushing.
"Wanna test that theory?" Felix leaned closer, brushing his lips against hers in the beginning of a much needed make out session.
Unbeknownst to them, was a man only slightly older than them, traipsing the streets of Seoul after the huge fight that had happened.
┊ ➶ 。˚ °
Enter, Chan. He had been walking with a blue notepad in hand, pen balancing on his ear which held the weight of his clear lens glasses. Fluffy brown hair sat atop his head, a frown formed on his face as he began to think would a story of his ever get published?
Well, now he had a story alright, the city's superhero Blaze and Villain, Shadow, caught in a steamy situation.
That is, if his boss would ever believe it. He hadn't progressed as far in his career as he would have liked to, always being undermined as an apprentice despite his allegiance to the Seoul Life company for six years. Six years and he was miserable. The newspaper wasn't very popular anyways, the only way they'd catch attention would be with a controversial headline, one that sparked distasteful rumours. Well, at least he had one that would be telling the truth this time. He just hoped and prayed it would get accepted. His other articles hadn't been before.
"No, Chan, no one cares about these supposed musical injustices of artists having no rights over their own music!" his boss slammed down the typed out copy of Chan's story down on his desk in the head office. Deep wrinkles set on the man's forehead.
"People care! I care!" Chan insisted, a look of desperation on his face.
"I'm scrapping it, you need some sort of better story," his boss leant back in his chair, rolling his eyes.
"No, sir! Please don't! I really think it could-"
"Watch this, and learn," his boss's voice pierced through his apprentice's words, as he he promptly fed the shredder beside him with Chan's hard work.
"I'm sorry," Chan looked down, feeling guilty that he once again had not created a successful report for the company. He didn't even know why they kept him around anymore, probably just to collect the coffees and do the printing.
But upon this day, he headed to the top floor of the building and knocked excitedly on his boss's door.
"Yes? What is it?!" his boss called out, seemingly in a good mood until he saw Chan and frowned.
"I got you your coffee. And I've got an amazing story to go with it," Chan was firm with his words, determination and adrenaline coursing through his veins.
"This better be good..."
"Another fight just happened with Blaze and Shadow-"
"I know this Chan, that's why I sent out the competent writers of this company to go and report," his boss sighed, sipping his coffee and hissing when it was still too hot on his tongue.
"Well I bet they didn't see the arch enemies of the city making out in a back alley," Chan grinned, raising his eyebrows up.
"Out of all the things I have heard..." his boss pinched the bridge of his nose.
"It's true! Look I managed to grab a photo!" Chan pulled out his phone and showed evidence, causing his boss's eyes to widen.
"Well I never... I tell you what boy, we'll publish this, if you can get this story done in 1 hour we'll send it out straight away! We'll publish it online before the other companies can even think about speculating this sort of story. I think you could have us earning some good money here!" his boss, for the first time ever, smiled in front of him. And that was all the motivation Chan needed, all the motivation he needed to prove himself.
Tumblr media
It had been 2 days since the article had been published. 2 days, since chaos erupted. Online, hateful comments were sent Chan's way, claiming he was some sick fantasist who conjured up some fictional idea that two prominent figures, although one of them very hated, were engaging in such interactions.
He felt like his life was over. And the company did nothing to defend his name, despite the fact that his boss had been so enthusiastic about the idea and what profit and benefits would come from it. Sure, they caught a lot of attention, but not the right kind. So much so, that they publicly fired Chan, and stated that he was no longer working with them.
For the first time since the publication, Chan dared to venture into the city for a bite to eat, a treat to ease his stress. It seemed, it was only more stressful for him than he could have imagined. It wasn't so bad at first, but then people started recognising him and soon enough he was swarmed in a vicious crowd of people hurling insults at him.
"You sicko!"
"This man thought he could make us read a fanfiction?!"
"What a disgrace to our country!"
"Blaze would never do that!"
"Get him!"
He was spiraling, wishing that the ground would swallow him up, or that he could go back to before he made that article and live the dull normal life he lived before. Anything better than all of this attention on him.
"Stop... stop... I'm sorry... I wasn't lying... please..." Chan cried. He begged. He needed saving.
Good thing this city has a hero.
Before he knew it, he was encompassed by a warm soothing light, blaze, you could say. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut. Then peace and quiet. His heartbeat that was racing slowed down, and all he could hear was the deep rumbling of someone's voice trying to calm him, and the sizzling of food frying in a pan. It smelt delicious. Perhaps this would be the bite to eat he had attempted to get.
"It's ok, hey, you're safe, don't worry, no one will know where you are, I've got you," the deep voice soothed Chan out of his trance, warm hands cradling his face and he opened his eyes to see a handsome, freckled man in front of him.
Holy shit. It was Blaze. It was Blaze that saved him?!
"Take a seat, I know, it's shocking, I'll sign your autograph later, yeah?" Blaze giggled, sitting Chan down on a creaky sofa, and wrapping him in a black blanket.
"Stop being so cocky, Felix!" a female voice called out from behind him, echoing across the room in the direction of where that divine smell was coming from.
"Give me a moment," 'Blaze', or Felix, whispered to Chan, stroking his hair gently before comically marching away. "Hey! It's not my fault people get starstruck around me!"
"Yeah, yeah! Just give the poor man some food, he's shaken up," Shadow laughed.
Wow. Her laugh was much different to when he had heard her before. It was sweet even. Who would have thought...
"Right, umm, sorry, here, eat up!" Felix fumbled over his words before handing Chan a steaming plate of ramen.
"Ow!" Chan sucked air through his teeth, wincing at how hot it was.
"Shit! Sorry! I forget how you normies are with hot things," Felix rushed, "here, use the blanket to cover the sides, won't be so hot that way."
And that's what Chan did. He used the dark blanket that had been wrapped around him to cover the bowl from scalding his hands, and took a bite of the ramen, doing a happy little wiggle at the taste.
"Told you my ramen was the best," Shadow smirked, arms folded as she leant against the wall in front of Chan, boasting at her lover.
"Never said it was bad," Felix shook his head, before turning to grab a plate of his own.
This was oddly domestic, Chan thought. No one would ever really think about the hero and the villain of the city cooking together, or having this playful, teasing bickering. It was sweet, endearing, and he longed to have that.
"Hey is that my cloak?!" Shadow put her hands on her hips, glaring at Chan and therefore sending shivers down his spine.
"Felix... Ummm, B-blaze gave it to me... I think... I'm not sure... It was all a blur to be honest... I-"
"Y/N, leave him alone. The poor guy was just calming down and now you've gone and freaked him out," Felix tutted, making Y/N realise her mistake and she dropped her intimidating look.
"Sorry... Hmm, well, I guess I'll let you get away with it, you're pretty cute," Y/N shrugged it off, making Felix smirk at her knowingly.
"Uhh, thanks? Umm thank you for the food! It's really nice! And, umm, thank you for, umm, saving me," Chan rushed out his words, making sure his appreciation was hung in the air for the couple in front of him to see.
"That's ok, Mr Journalist," Felix grinned back, taking a bite of his own lunch.
"Ah so this is the one who tried to expose us, hmm?" Y/N's face lit up in recognition.
"Ah yeah, that's me. I'm sorry, I just wanted to get a good story out," Chan rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly before pushing his glasses up.
"It's fine, and to be fair, I can't even get mad at you, at least you were truthful," Y/N nodded in understanding.
She really had a much warmer heart than Chan could have ever anticipated. She was being so kind to him, so was Felix. He didn't expect it, and so, he put that down to the reason why tears welled up in his gorgeous brown eyes.
"Hey, it's ok, really, don't get upset," Felix put down his food to stroke Chan's back.
"It's just... things will never be normal again, everyone hates me," Chan sniffled.
At that moment, Felix glanced at Y/N to help out.
"Oh sure, I'll help, I can relate," Y/N nodded, hyping herself up to comfort Chan as she sat on his other side and took his hand in hers.
"I-i don't know what to do," Chan's voice cracked
"You can stay with us. No-one will be able to seek you out, ok? And soon you'll be able to return to normal everyday living, people will forget about it, I'm sure. You've got us now, ok?" Y/N spoke softly, hushing Chan's cries.
"Really? I-i can stay here?" he was astonished at the idea but he had no other choice. Plus, they had been so welcoming so far.
"You can. I mean it. As long as you don't spill food on my cape again," Y/N wrinkled her nose and rubbed away at the mark.
"Oh sorry! Umm, well, please, I'd like that," Chan nodded, and Felix wrapped an arm around him to offer further comfort.
"We've got you," Felix spread warmth around Chan's body, creating this fuzzy, happy feeling.
┊ ➶ 。˚ °
1 year later, and Chan was still living with the couple. But things had changed, quite massively. Not long after he had began living with them he noticed many different things, ever so observant as a past journalist. The lingering hands, the kisses on the head when they thought he had fallen asleep, the invitations to cuddle them in their bed.
When he confronted them about it, after gathering the courage to, both Felix and Y/N were very frank about their feelings, despite the latter being slightly embarrassed that she had been caught out in her tender actions. After all, Y/N had quite the reputation to be cold and unloving, but Chan knew that very day be met her, that she was the complete opposite. And to him, Felix was different from his heroic persona too. Sure, he had his arrogant moments, but it was only ever said in a joking tone, and that warmth that he had seen in news broadcast footage, translated emotionally too. They were his support. His lifeline. And he'd be ever so thankful that he found them. They even helped him find his new hobby, one he was excited to make money about.
"We're back!" Felix and Y/N called out as they entered the apartment, both of them panting. From staging another fight scene, not anything else, you pervs.
"In here!" Chan yelled out happily, sat in front of his computer.
"Hard at work I see," Y/N kissed him on the forehead, resting her own head on his shoulder to snoop at what he had been working on this time.
"Wow, you've written quite the story there, love," Felix stroked Chan's hair as he squinted his eyes to see what was on the screen.
"Yeah, well, someone paid me ₩200,000 for a commission! Insane I know!" Chan breathed out a laugh, happy that his new job could bring money into their home together.
"What's it about this time?" Felix queried with genuine curiosity.
"Well, ok, so they wanted me to write an imagine where Blaze and Shadow were best friends at school but got separated after moving different countries. So it's got this friends to lovers, reunited trope going on," Chan danced in his seat happily as he explained to his boyfriend and girlfriend about what he was writing.
"You and your fanfiction, ey?" Y/N laughed fondly, rubbing Chan's arms.
"Well, if you can't beat them join them," Chan laughed back, "plus it's fun writing these made up scenarios, especially when people want to insert themselves into the story. I know I've got the real thing. I'm so lucky," he rambled on.
"Yeah, and soppy," Y/N pulled his chair away from the computer.
"Hey! I like the compliments, tell me more!" Felix sat on Chan's lap, dragging Y/N on top of him awkwardly as they shared giggles, stories and kisses about how their days had gone.
It certainly wasn't how Chan expected his life to go. But he wouldn't exchange it for anything now that he got a taste of love, and pure compassion.
Felix was the light that shone down upon him and saved him that very day. And Y/N was the shadow that was always there for him, no matter what. It made sense didn't it? After all, such darkness and lightness coexisting meant that there had to be a third in between the two, otherwise one would feel lonely without the other.

Felix Makes Three: 01
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
chapter: morning talks
❧ synopsis. the morning after, talking is important between the three of you
❧ pairing. bang chan x reader x felix
❧ word count. 1.9k ⁣
❧ themes. cutie felix, polyamory, nervous almost boyfriends
Waking up with the feel of a different body next to you was a bit strange.
Not in a bad way. The body you were used to was on the other side of him as you sat up.
Chan begins to stir on the other side. He stretches before mirroring you. “Mornin.”
You smile, taking in his appearance. He always looks good in the morning but this was a little different. His hair, the marks, and the messy bedding around him all made you think about the previous night.
It finally happened last night. Felix stayed after the others left, lending time to make things happen. And happen they did.
Chan kissed him. Then with his flustered and confused glance towards you, you kissed him.
Pulled hair. Bitten skin. Bruised hips. Loud voices.
It finally happened.
However, you could tell by the more tense smile on his face that something was on his mind.
Tilting your head, he knew what you were going to ask. “just…do you think he got it?”
You both glanced back. The angelic figure between you was still fast asleep. Messy blonde hair was all you could see. “How could he not?”
A sigh came out before he explained. “We didn’t exactly talk about anything.”
“Everyone was doing alot of avoiding on each side.” you raised a brow at him, he knew what you were referring to. “So we went with the showing rather than telling first.”
“But how do we know?” He flopped back on the bed, bouncing Felix slightly with the force.
You shifted to look at his distressed form. “We still have to talk about it but I think the ice is more than broken.”
Chan sighs heavily, the topic obviously weighing heavily already. “I need to get up. I should go to the stud-”
“No” you shut it down quickly. “You should probably be here when he wakes up, and if you go to the studio you won’t be back until tomorrow.” He nods, knowing you're right.
“Maybe I should make breakfast. Something special!” He muses to himself as he swings his legs over the side of the bed. He pulls on comfy pants from the floor excitedly, thanks to whatever is going on in his head.
“No no something normal is fine. Don’t cook when you're stressed, it leads to bad things,” you say, pulling on a shirt from your side of the floor. Sliding to sit back under the covers, you realize he isn’t listening anymore.
He brainstorms options at you(not with you) then claps excitedly before pausing. “I didn’t wake him did I?” You look over. Barely catching the blonde closing his eyes back, you smile at Chan “Nope, still in lalaland.”
“Ok! I’m gonna make something delicious.”
Though you highly doubt that, he leaves and you wait a moment.
“Ok he’s gone.”
Felix opens one eye first before opening both with a soft pout.
“What wrong, Lixxie?” a soft hand strokes his hair.
“I’m scared where we go from here.” You guess he must have woken up around breakfast talk, completely missing Chan’s distress.
“I don’t know why either of you are so worried. You know, wherever we go it’ll be together.”
“Yeah..but I want it to be together together.”
“Yeah, me too. That’s why Chan is up nervously making you breakfast so he doesn’t stay in bed fidegting and wake you up.”
“Really?”
You shift to fully face him resting your head on your knees. “Do you know how long it took to convince him to just brooch the subject with you? He was convinced you would hate him and feel uncomfortable around him. The thought alone made him cry.”
“Oh hyung” he mumbled teary eyed at the thought of his best friend crying.
“We considered that this would be a one and done for you. I prepped him for that possiblity just in case but…”
“But?”
“But I know you. Even before you said you want us to be “together together” i knew you felt the way we did.” your hand softly cards through his hair as his eyes close. Two little tear drops fall from this but he wears a smile. The door opens and you both look over.
“Baby, I need he-” Chan sticks his head in but stops as he notices Felix is awake. “Lix! I didn’t wake you did I?”
He smiles. “No, don’t worry.”
“Oh, good!” Chan still seems worried but is satisfied enough to get back to the matter at hand. He’d somehow forgotten a step in his pancakes but not wanting to start over. You sighed as you stood up. Putting on your slippers, you looked back to Felix. “You rest. I’ll fix this then let you know when things are edible again.”
He watched you follow Chan out to fix his stress mistake. As he layed in the big bed that smelled mainly like Chan, he listened to the sounds from outside the door. The laughter and happiness made his heart want this all the time.
He was still unsure that the universe could actually give him something this good but he would take it for as long as he could.

Too Sweet
Tumblr media
Notes: So my dissertation is due in under a week and yet here I am writing Stray Kids smut, but we all cope with stress in different ways I guess.
This idea has been in my head for a while so here it goes. This is a SKZ poly ot8 fic with mated pairs Chanlix, Minsung, Jeongmin and eventual Hyunbin but it will be Hyunjin centric. Not sure how many parts it will be but if you like it let me know!
This chapter contains angst and some light smut.
---
Hyunjin was feeling lonely.
That might sound absurd coming from a man who had six partners, but it was the truth.
It had started last month during their weekly movie night. Whenever it was Hyunjin's turn to choose a film he nearly always picked romance, and that particular week was no exception. He had selected a cute office-romance that had been receiving good reviews and the pack all settled in to watch, with a few grumbles from the likes of Minho and Seungmin who protested that there was a new action-thriller out that they should watch instead. Chan had reminded them both that it was Hyunjin's turn to choose and so they were going to watch whatever he wanted, and it had only taken one sharp look from the pack leader for the pair of them to fall silent.
The film turned out to be pretty good, and Hyunjin was sitting on the floor of the living room clutching a pillow to his chest and kicking his feet while he watched the on-screen couple kiss for the first time.
"Ahhhh so cute! Aren't they so cute?"
When he didn't receive an answer, he peered over his shoulder and found to his dismay that none of the others were even paying attention. Felix had his eyes closed, curled up against Chan and smiling while his mate gently peppered kisses over Felix's forehead and cheeks. Jisung had fallen asleep on Minho's chest and was snoring quietly while Minho watched him with such a soft expression it might have made Hyunjin cry under different circumstances. Jeongin was technically looking at the screen, but it was obvious that he was more interested in whatever Seungmin was whispering in his ear than he was in the film. From the blush dusting his cheeks, Hyunjin was fairly certain they weren't discussing the intricacies of the plot.
At first he felt annoyed that none of them were bothering to pay attention to the film he had chosen, and he was about to open his mouth and whine when it suddenly struck him that he was being left out. There he was, sitting all alone on the floor, while the couples were cuddled up on the sofas not giving him a second thought.
Hurt lodged itself in his chest and he felt his eyes grew wet with tears. He wanted to get up and walk out of the room, but he knew if he did then someone would go after him and they would probably tease him for crying and say he was being a drama queen. Maybe he was, but he still felt sad that none of them had invited him to cuddle. As if they had simply forgotten he was there.
Over the following weeks, a few similar incidents occurred that only reinforced Hyunjin's growing paranoia. He was the only unmated pack member, but it had never bothered him too much because all seven of them were in a poly relationship anyway: they all loved each other and had committed to each other via pack bonds, and they all had a sexual relationship. So it wasn't as if he was starved of intimacy or affection, and he had always assumed he would meet his mate one day and then they would become a complete pack of eight.
But it had been over five years since Jeongin, their youngest member, had joined the pack and mated with Seungmin. For a while, there had been a possibility that Seungmin and Hyunjin would become mates: Hyunjin found the younger male unbelievably cute, and only Seungmin could make him howl with laughter until his cheeks ached and he could hardly breathe. For his part, Seungmin was comfortable around Hyunjin while he tended to clash easily with other pack members, and even though he wasn't the biggest fan of skinship he allowed Hyunjin to cuddle up to him without complaining -- and enjoyed it, even though he would deny this to his dying breath.
But as much as they adored each other, there was something not quite there. Hyunjin liked to be lavished with affection: he wanted to be spoiled and complimented, and any type of romantic gesture (be it unexpected gifts or spontaneous acts in the bedroom) made his knees weak. Seungmin was more subtle: he showed his love in quieter ways, like making sure his partners remembered to eat even if they were busy and giving them his own food if they forgot, or recognising when they needed space and when they needed someone to talk to and comfort them. Hyunjin wouldn't change Seungmin for the world, and when Jeongin had arrived and Seungmin was immediately smitten, Hyunjin knew that they had made the right call by never taking that final step.
He had hoped that one day he would find his own Jeongin -- someone who waltzed into his life and was perfect for him. But the years had continued to pass and Hyunjin was still alone. He had a full life: a pack who loved him, a comfortable home, plenty of money, a fulfilling job at a prestigious art dealership. Why couldn't he be content with that? Why did he still carry around an ache in his heart as if something -- someone -- was missing from his life?
Hyunjin didn't like feeling this way, but he stubbornly refused to speak to his pack mates about it. He didn't want to seem pathetic or needy, or worse have them pity him. He couldn't stand the idea of being looked at as the sad lone wolf who was desperate for a mate.
If there was one thing that always made him feel satisfied and cherished, it was good old-fashioned lovemaking. And yes, he called it that instead of fucking -- even if he had been known to scream out "Please fuck me!" in the middle of sex. It still counted as lovemaking if it was with people you loved.
So one Thursday evening when everyone was heading to bed, Hyunjin decided to wander along the corridor to Seungmin and Jeongin's room. He hadn't spent much time with either of them lately, and although Minho and Chan definitely took the top spots for being able to fuck him the hardest (and Hyunjin really needed to be fucked), the younger pair had more stamina, and Hyunjin would happily go without sleep tonight if it meant multiple orgasms.
"Ayenahhh!" he squealed as he launched himself onto the bed on top of their youngest member. Jeongin pretended to cry out in pain, but his beaming smile somewhat ruined the effect. He smelled like his favourite coconut-vanilla shampoo, and his hair was still slightly damp from the shower.
"I's too late for you to be this loud," he complained.
"It's not late," Hyunjin asserted, climbing into Jeongin's lap with a smirk. "In fact, I'd say the night is very young."
He leaned down to kiss him and Jeongin's soft lips responded quickly, but with less passion than Hyunjin would have liked.
"I'm so tired, I don't think I can do anything tonight," he said once they sat back.
"Oh."
Hyunjin's body deflated, feeling disappointed.
"Are you sure I can't convince you?"
"Not tonight," said Jeongin. "Maybe at the weekend though?"
A moment later Seungmin wandered out of the ensuite bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth. His dark hair was also mussed and still wet. He and Jeongin probably showered together, and they might have fucked already. No wonder Jeongin was tired and not in the mood.
"You okay Jinnie?"
"I was hoping to maybe have a little fun tonight but Innie is tired." He winked at Seungmin. "Unless you're up for it Minnie?"
Hyunjin knew what the answer would be before the other man shook his head. Seungmin was a clean-freak and after he had brushed his teeth he was not interested in engaging in any further sexual activity on a given evening. It was one of his weird quirks that Hyunjin found strange and adorable in equal measure.
"I'm tired too, and I have to be up early for work tomorrow."
Hyunjin nodded. "Okay, I guess we can just cuddle instead."
"You won't just cuddle though, when you're horny you start grinding against people and keeping them awake," said Seungmin.
"I don't!" Hyunjin protested.
"You kind of do," Jeongin added.
"But--"
"Go find Felix, I'm sure he'll cuddle with you whether you're horny or not." With that, Seungmin turned and walked back into the bathroom.
Hyunjin couldn't help feeling like he had just been dismissed. Well, fuck him. He wasn't going to beg to stay if they didn't want him. He crawled off the bed and walked towards the door. Jeongin called goodnight behind him, Seungmin said nothing.
Even if Seungmin was being an asshole, Hyunjin decided to take his advice and go and find Felix. Maybe he needed some affection more than a hard fuck tonight after all, and there was no-one better to give him that than his sunshine. And if he was really lucky, maybe Chan would fuck him while Felix held his hand and kissed him and told him he was beautiful.
Hyunjin practically ran to Felix and Chan's room, and he was about to open the door when he heard a soft but deep moan coming from inside. His cock stirred in his pants. Sure enough when he pushed the door open and peeked inside he had to stifle a gasp at the sight before him.
Felix and Chan were both naked, spread out on the bed with Chan on his back and Felix slowly sliding up and down his cock. From this angle, Hyunjin had a perfect view of the pack leader's thick length disappearing into Felix's tiny hole, stretching him out while the blonde whimpered and leaned down to pull him into a desperate kiss.
Hyunjin's mouth practically watered. He couldn't decide which of them he was more jealous of: whether he wanted Felix to ride his cock instead or whether he wanted to take his place and have Chan stretching out his hole until it felt like he would burst. His own cock stiffened and he was about to walk into the room and join them on the bed when something stopped him.
"I love you."
The words were so quiet, so delicate as they fell from Felix's trembling lips. Barely more than a whisper, a whisper that was meant for one person alone.
Chan reached up to cup his face and brushed a strand of Felix's hair behind his ear. The gesture was so tender that Hyunjin felt guilty for witnessing it.
The pack leader spoke to Felix so quietly that Hyunjin couldn't hear what he said, he could only watch Chan's fingers trace down Felix's spine and wrap Felix's small body in his strong arms. If Chan had looked over he would have spotted Hyunjin watching them, but he never once took his eyes off his mate.
With a stinging heart, Hyunjin closed the door. There was no place for him in that room.
At this point, he was beginning to feel less horny and simply lonely. He would honestly just take a hug from one of his pack mates right now. With only one room left to try, Hyunjin found himself outside Minho and Jisung's door.
He couldn't hear any noises coming from inside, but he decided to knock anyway.
At first there was no answer, and then footsteps padded across the room and the door opened to reveal Minho. He looked very domestic in his black-framed glasses, grey sweatpants and baggy t-shirt that Hyunjin was fairly certain used to belong to Chan. Swapping clothes was one of the many benefits of their relationship.
"Oh, Hyunjin," said Minho. "You need something?"
Behind him, Hyunjin could see Jisung lounging on the bed with a paused Studio Ghibli film on his laptop. They must have been watching it together.
"Nothing in particular I just... Can I join you both?"
He was dying to fall into Minho's strong arms and be carried to the bed, where he could cuddle up between him and Jisung. He didn't much care whether they had sex or whether they just watched the rest of whatever film was playing, as long as he could get some comfort.
And so it felt like a knife in his heart when Minho hesitated and glanced back at Jisung awkwardly.
"Um, actually Jinnie we were hoping to have a night to ourselves," Minho admitted. "Kind of an impromptu date night."
Faced with his third rejection of the evening, there was only so long Hyunjin could remain rational and calm. It was fifty-fifty whether he started crying or yelling, and apparently tonight anger was taking the reins.
"Don't you do that every night? You share a room."
"Yes but we don't always take the time to talk or watch a film together and spend proper quality time with each other," Minho explained.
Hyunjin sighed irritably. "Can you not do it tomorrow instead? I really don't want to be alone tonight."
"I'm sorry Jinnie, we really want to have this time to ourselves--"
"Why?!" Hyunjin burst out. He could pinpoint the exact moment Minho's expression shifted from apologetic to furious.
"What do you mean why? I'm telling you I want to spend time with my mate and you're being selfish."
Hyunjin scoffed. "I'm selfish?! Oh I'm sorry that coming to my pack mates for comfort makes me selfish."
"That doesn't make you selfish. Demanding that we reschedule our date night just because you're bored and want to bother us makes you selfish."
"Oh I'm a bother now?"
"Currently, yes," said Minho coldly.
"Hyunjin," Jisung's head popped up timidly behind Minho's shoulder. "We're not trying to be mean, we just want a little privacy for tonight."
"You can have privacy literally anytime you want. Why is it the one time I come to you and say I need some comfort you're suddenly kicking me out?"
"If you really need comfort you can go to one of the others, but honestly I think you're just being a brat and don't like being told no."
Hyunjin wanted to scream at Minho that he'd already been to all of the others and none of them wanted him, but what was the point? He clearly wasn't wanted here either. Tears were stinging his eyes and he had to swallow back a sob.
"Fine, enjoy your date night," he said bitterly.
"We will. Goodnight."
Minho closed the door and Hyunjin was left standing alone in the corridor again. His arms were wrapped defensively across his chest and his throat burned from the effort of trying not to cry. For a few seconds he was glued to the spot: he couldn't face going back to his empty room, and the pack nest would feel even worse with only him in it.
Eventually he couldn't hold back his sobs any longer and he clapped a hand over his mouth and ran downstairs, ending up out on the balcony that overlooked the garden. He shut the door behind him so that no-one would hear (not that any of them gave a shit about him anyway) then collapsed to the wooden floorboards, curled up into a ball and cried his heart out.

I'm now thinking abt chanlix w younger!reader, I don't think they'd be into being called oppa nearly as much as minsung bc they're Aussies so it's not as big for them. But I feel like they like pampering their partner, doing their skincare for them and washing their hair etc. Felix has a habit of spoiling them with expensive gifts while chan likes to take care of them, but they both like feeling needed
Hello! Sorry for the delay, my brain is all over the place and I hadn't checked the requests. I have no excuse, besides that I'm an airhead and my concentration skills are very weak
But I agree with you. Chan specially gives off a serious caregiver complex, so he'll naturally take that role with his partners and won't let them lift a finger if he can help it. Felix is an angel sent by heaven to care for humans and be worshipped in return because he deserves nothing less.
Chan has been a father of eight for years, and we all see him with Jeongin, so you bet once he knows Reader is younger than him, his protective instincts go on inmediatly. Felix is pretty much the same, but is rather than protectiveness, he just enjoys taking care of Reader. He'll go with them shopping, picking up outfits for them (most of them matching sets for couples because he's a romantic like that), doing their make-up and indulging in complete skincare routines together while watching dramas. Felix's love language consists mostly in physical touch and words of affirmation, so he'll come up with the most intrigate, ridiculously lovey-dovey compliments for Reader every day, accompanied by their daily dose of kisses and hugs.
Chan is the caretaker of the relationship. He'll watch both of them on their silly antics and sigh like a tired father, shaking his head in endearment. He'll never admit it out loud but he finds them so cute and adorable when they do that. His urges to provide for them and protect them only become stronger. He helps Reader shower themselves when they feel too tired to do it, brews them warm drinks when they feel down, sits them on his lap while he's working so they can take a good nap, safely cozed in his strong arms.
They're not so into the whole "oppa" thing like the rest of members, being from outside korea and all, but i feel that Chan would like it. They both have lived there enough years to absolve some of the customs, so I don't assume anything. But yeah, I feel Chan would become giddy if Reader called him "oppa". He'll melt in a puddle and do anything they ask. Felix is more amused by it, seeing it as something funny but not so emotionally shocking like it is for Chan.
They both tag team to pamper Reader and surround them with love and attention. They can treat them like a baby sometimes, regardless if they protest. For them, it's not the same as Minsung, who do this because they have this need ingraved in them, but with Chanlix is more about the validation for doing it. They crave the compliments and kisses they receive from Reader everytime, their soft grateful smile directed at them. They live off feeling needed by their partner, specially Chan. They enjoy nothing more but having someone to rely on them.
If Minsung are intense, introvert ones, Chanlix are sweeter, more gentle version.

ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕖𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥: Fresh start
Word count: 4507
Summary: After freshening up, Y/N is warmly welcomed by her pack and her new scent, especially Felix and Han, but the mood shifts when I.N becomes overwhelmed by her returning scent. Chan and Lee Know reassure him, while Y/N feels guilty. Hyunjin then invites her on a grocery run, allowing them to bond despite her nervousness. Upon returning, they find the pack in turmoil due to Seungmin’s hurtful words to Felix. Y/N steps in to mediate, expressing her desire to belong and urging unity. After the confrontation, she finds comfort in Hyunjin’s support while unpacking her belongings, deepening their connection and making her feel more at home.
Warning: Angst/comfort, cursing, hate.

After Y/N freshened up, she made her way downstairs, the familiar sounds of her pack filling the air. As soon as she reached the bottom step, she was ambushed by Felix and Han.
"Y/Nnie! I missed you so much!" Felix exclaimed, his eyes shining with joy as he wrapped her in a bear hug.
"You smell so sweet, Y/Nnie," Han chimed in, pressing his face into her neck, inhaling deeply.
"Hannie, stop licking it!" she squeaked, laughter bubbling up as Han playfully nuzzled her scent gland. "That tickles!"
"Can’t help it! You just smell so good," he teased, grinning at her reaction.
Just then, Chan stepped in, a mix of amusement and exasperation on his face. "You two, cut it out. Let her breathe!"
Felix pouted but let go, while Han feigned innocence. "We’re just showing our love, Chan!"
"Well, your love is suffocating her," Chan replied, shaking his head with a chuckle. "Now come eat before it gets cold!"
Lee Know appeared from the kitchen, expertly placing down a feast of breakfast dishes. "Seriously, guys, let her eat," he said, rolling his eyes.
"Whoa, bacon!" Changbin yelled, rushing in and plopping down at the table as the rest of the members filtered in one by one.
Just then, I.N stumbled into the room, his face pale and his hair disheveled. "Chan?" he mumbled, gripping the doorway for support.
The room fell silent, everyone’s eyes turning toward him with concern. "Oh my God, what’s wrong, I.N?" Chan rushed over, guiding him to a nearby chair.
"I... there’s a new scent," I.N gasped, clutching his chest. "It’s making my alpha go crazy, Chan. My heart won’t stop racing. I feel so sick."
Panic flickered across Chan's face as he exchanged a worried glance with Lee Know. "Innie, that’s Y/N’s scent. She got her scent back," he said slowly, the realization dawning on them both.
"What?!" I.N’s eyes widened, confusion mixing with distress. "But how? Is she okay?"
"She’s fine!" Chan reassured him, placing a steadying hand on his shoulder. "You just need to breathe. It’s overwhelming, but it’s just her. You’ll get used to it."
"Yeah, your alpha instincts are just reacting," Lee Know added, trying to keep the mood light. "You’re okay, just… chill."
“Will he be okay?” Y/N asked, a twinge of guilt creeping into her voice as she watched I.N struggle.
“Yeah, he’ll be fine. His alpha just needs to adjust to you and your new scent,” Changbin reassured her, handing I.N a cup of water. “Here, drink this.”
“O-okay, but do I have to stay away from him…?” she frowned, her fingers absentmindedly playing with Felix’s charm bracelet, a nervous habit she’d developed.
“No, no! I can handle it,” I.N insisted, though his eyes flashed red momentarily as he squeezed them shut, trying to regain control. He let out a soft growl, his nails digging into Chan’s skin as he fought against the overwhelming sensations.
“I.Nnie, you should go back to bed,” Chan said, his voice laced with concern as he felt I.N’s grip tightening.
“I’ll take him, Hyung,” Han offered, rising from his seat, but Chan quickly shook his head.
“No, babe, he’s really heavy. You might tumble and fall,” Chan replied, carefully lifting I.N, who felt almost weightless in his arms despite the tension radiating from him.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean for this to happen,” Y/N said, her voice trembling slightly. “I can put on the scent blockers so you don’t have to feel like this.”
“NO. Don’t,” I.N huffed, frustration etched on his face as he held his head in his hands. “You just got better! I’m not going to ruin that again.”
Chan exchanged worried glances with the others, feeling the weight of I.N’s struggle. “You’re not ruining anything. We’ll figure this out together. Just breathe.”
I.N took a shaky breath, trying to calm his racing heart. “It’s just it feels like I’m on fire. I can’t help it,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper
“I’ll bring some ginger tea; it should help,” Leeknow instructed, getting started on the tea as Chan hummed and slipped away into the corridors.
“Felix, babe, I need you to show Y/N her room, please, and help her unpack, okay?” Leeknow asked, glancing over his shoulder.
“Alright, baby, I got you,” Felix replied, planting a quick kiss on Leeknow’s cheek before heading to the sink to put his dishes away.
“Han, can you go grab more eggs from the chicken coop?” Leeknow asked, pouring hot water into a cup.
“I can do that! Can I take Y/N with me, Hyung?” Han pleaded, giving Leeknow his best puppy-dog eyes.
Leeknow rolled his eyes but eventually nodded. “Okay, but you two be careful. No crossing the forest line, understood?” He shot them a serious look, making sure they understood.
“Yes, yes—”
“Good morning, everyone!” Hyunjin strolled into the kitchen, his aura commanding instant attention. Y/N froze, sitting up straight, while Felix pouted.
“I’m going to the store. Y/N, come on,” Hyunjin said, his gaze locking onto her, causing the room to fall silent.
“M-me?” she stammered, swallowing hard.
“Yes, you pabo. Who else is named Y/N?” Hyunjin smirked, leaning casually against the doorframe, arms crossed.
“B-but I thought you hated me…” Y/N’s voice faltered, her grip tightening around Felix’s hand. She felt a mix of fear and a longing for acceptance from Hyunjin, despite his past behavior.
“Ugh,” Hyunjin rolled his eyes, furrowing his brow as he grabbed a piece of toast. “I can tolerate you. Come on before I change my mind.” With that, he headed out, leaving an echo of tension in the air.
“I think you should go, Y/Nnie. It’ll give you guys some time alone,” Changbin encouraged her gently.
“R-really?” she whispered, hope flickering in her chest.
“Yeah, I talked to him, so he’ll behave,” Leeknow chimed in, grabbing the cup of tea for I.N. “Good luck, baby.”
Y/N glanced at Felix, who looked just as confused but supportive. Slowly, she let go of his hand.
“I’ll come with you,” Felix said, shrugging as he stood up.
“But Felix—” she hissed, anxiety creeping in.
“It’s good for you guys to get along. I hate my mates fighting,” Felix whined, pulling her toward the door. “This is a good time for him to apologize.”
“Felix!” she protested, but they were already outside, standing by Hyunjin’s car. He looked at them with an expression of mild boredom as he unlocked the door.
“You two behave. Actually, Hyunjin, you behave. If you hurt her, I swear—”
“Babe, I won’t. Calm down,” Hyunjin huffed, starting the engine.
“Felix, I thought you were coming?” Y/N pouted, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“Nope! Hyunjin, drive before she jumps out of the car,” Felix giggled, closing the door just as Y/N’s eyes widened in surprise. Before she could react, they were pulling out of the driveway, her scent intensifying with rising fear.
“Relax, will you? Your scent is going to make me pass out,” Hyunjin said, turning on the AC.
“S-sorry,” Y/N muttered, trying to calm her racing heart. She felt trapped between excitement and anxiety, hoping that this awkward outing might lead to something better between her and Hyunjin.
She let out soft whimpers as Hyunjin’s gaze focused on her lap. He was wrestling with his own nerves, trying to figure out how to start the conversation. Why did she have to smell so good? His beta instincts were on high alert, making it hard to concentrate, and he almost missed the turn into the supermarket.
“Okay, listen,” he finally said as he parked the car. Y/N didn’t look up, worried he might think she was challenging him. Sighing, he reached for her shaking hands. “You need to breathe and stop shaking. I promise, I won’t hurt you.”
Y/N’s eyes widened as she stared at their hands interlocked in surprise. What was happening here?
“Y/N, I really want to apologize for making your past few days difficult,” he said, his voice softening.
“Apologize?” she whispered, glancing up at him, confusion flickering in her eyes. “But…”
“It wasn’t fair for me to judge you right away. I should have given you a chance before shutting you out. I guess I’m just… nervous. Sorry,” he chuckled, running a hand through his hair and squeezing her hands gently.
“You don’t have to be nervous, oppa,” she replied, her lips curving into a small smile. His flustered state was oddly endearing, and she felt a warmth spread through her.
“I’m really sorry for hurting your feelings. You’re part of our pack now, and it’s my job to take care of you. I’ve had my own struggles in the past, and they kind of clouded my judgment… just ask Jisung,” he added with a light laugh.
“I’ve heard about the headphones,” she giggled, feeling the tension lift as her scent brightened.
“Yeah, poor I.N.,” he said with a smirk, rubbing soothing circles on her hand. “The point is, I really hope we can start fresh.”
“It’s okay, oppa. I get where you’re coming from. I really appreciate your apology, and I’m all for a fresh start,” she replied, her voice warm.
“Thank you! And don’t worry about Seungmin; he’ll come around eventually,” Hyunjin said, his tone lightening. He leaned over and gave her hand a quick, friendly kiss, making her blush.
“Aish, so cute!” he laughed, quickly pulling out his phone to snap a picture of her adorable expression.
“NOOOO!” she squealed, trying to grab the phone from him.
“Too late!” he teased, playfully keeping it out of her reach. He turned off the car and opened the door with a grin. “Let’s head inside before they think I actually left you stranded,”
As they got out, she felt a mixture of relief and excitement. Maybe things were finally turning a corner between them.
"I'm just grabbing some paint," Hyunjin informed her as they wandered down a few aisles. He intertwined their fingers again, feeling his beta instincts kick into high gear now that he had one of his omega's by his side. “Don’t leave my side.”
"You paint?" Y/N asked softly, glancing at a few items on the shelves.
"Yeah, I think you've heard the rules about my painting room," he said, quickly looking at her. She remembered the tales of his exclusive space.
“Oh, yes! Can I see a painting?” she asked casually, but he stiffened for a moment, his mind racing.
“Yes, one day,” he replied, trying to maintain his composure as he picked out paints and brushes. “If you see anything you want, just put it in the tray, okay?”
“But oppa, I don’t have money,” she frowned.
“It’s okay, I’m paying—”
“But—”
“Pick something or we’re not leaving the store,” he said with a playful glare. She huffed like a little kid, reluctantly moving down the aisle. She felt a bit overwhelmed; having just gone on a shopping spree a few days ago, she wasn’t sure what to get.
“Don’t go too far, Y/N,” he warned, glancing back at her as she wandered into another aisle.
“Okay, oppa!” she called back, strolling around but making sure to return to him every few minutes. Once he finished, he quickly followed her as she looked for something she wanted.
“Can I get some baking supplies?” she asked when they reached the baking aisle.
“Yeah, go ahead. Do you like baking?” Hyunjin asked, looking up from his phone.
“Yes, I do! I noticed you guys only have trays for brownies,” she pouted, dropping pans into the basket.
“Yeah, because Felix only bakes brownies and cookies,” he explained, leaning over to admire her. She looked beautiful, her skin glowing under the store’s lights.
“Really? That needs to change now that I’m here. I’m going to teach him more recipes—”
Suddenly, a voice squealed, interrupting their peaceful shopping. “Oh my god, are you Hyunjin? Hyunjin from Stray Kids? Camilla, I told you it was him!”
“Ugh, we forgot to wear masks,” he hissed, cursing himself. He instinctively stood in front of Y/N, shielding her while putting on a forced smile.
“Hello, ladies,” he said, waving and bowing slightly.
“Hyunjin! Can we please have a picture?” one girl asked, grabbing onto him without consent.
“Hey, whoa, calm down,” he chuckled nervously, trying to pry her off him. “I’m kind of busy right now, so I can’t really take pictures.”
Y/N felt her agitation rising as she softly growled, her protective instincts flaring. Why were they touching him without asking?
“But Hyunjin! This is the first time I’ve ever seen you!” another girl exclaimed.
“He said back off,” Y/N growled softly again, her eyes shimmering gold. Hyunjin gasped and quickly pulled her under his arm, trying to comfort her.
“Ladies, we’ll be off. Maybe next time,” he said, panic creeping into his voice. He felt Y/N’s tension and wanted to diffuse the situation as quickly as possible. The girls looked surprised but took a step back, realizing they’d crossed a line.
“Let’s go, Y/N,” he said, guiding her away. “I’m sorry about that. You okay?”
She nodded, though she still felt the remnants of her frustration. “Yeah, just... why didn’t they ask first?”
“I know, they really should have respected our space,” he replied, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. “But let’s focus on you for now. What else do you want to pick out?”
Y/N pouted slightly, feeling a mix of frustration and gratitude that he was so quick to brush off the situation but she decided to let it go for now. “I’ve got everything for baking, but can I grab a few snacks for I.N? He wasn’t feeling so well.”
“Of course,” he said, shrugging with a smile. “Let’s find him some good stuff.” He followed her around the aisle, his fingers still tapping away on his phone as he texted the group about the situation, balancing concern for I.N with a playful ease as they browsed together.

“Hyunjin?” Y/N called, tugging at his sweater as he furiously texted on his phone, seemingly lost in his own world. “Hyunjin? Is everything okay?” Her nose scrunched up at the sour scent wafting off him, a mix of anxiety and frustration.
“Hyunjin, your scent—” she coughed, tugging harder at his jacket. Finally, he snapped out of it.
“Hey, whoa, sorry. I was distracted. You okay?” He rubbed her back, trying to calm both himself and her.
“Yeah, I was saying I was done,” she said, shifting on her foot nervously while glancing into the basket filled with their finds.
“Okay, let’s go,” he said, but she didn’t budge, a frown deepening on her face.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” He crouched slightly to meet her gaze.
“Are you mad at me? If I made you mad, I can put something back—”
“No, love, I’m not mad. I’m mad at something else, but not you,” he reassured her, feeling a pang of guilt for making her worry.
“You sure?” she asked, her eyes searching his.
“Yes, I am,” he replied, pulling her under his arms again, feeling the tension ease a bit.
“U-um, can I scent you?” she asked, playing with his sleeve, her voice soft and a little shy. “Just to make sure?”
“Yes, once we get to the car, love,” he assured her with a gentle smile. They made their way to the register, and Hyunjin didn’t even wait for the total cost; he simply swiped his card and grabbed the bags, eager to get outside.
“Alright, let’s go,” he said, leading her out of the store.
Once they were outside, she took a deep breath, feeling the fresh air wash over her. “Thank you for letting me come with you,” she said, glancing up at him.
“Of course! I thought you might enjoy it,” he replied, his expression softening. “And besides, I wanted to spend some time with you. Just us.”
She smiled, feeling her heart flutter. “You really mean that?”
“Absolutely. Now, how about that scenting?” he teased lightly, guiding her to the car.
“Right!” Y/N grinned, her nervousness fading. Once inside, she leaned in closer, inhaling his comforting scent and scenting his neck glands. “See? Much better.”
“Glad I could help,” he chuckled, watching her with warmth. “Now let’s head home and show Felix your new baking supplies. He’s going to be so excited,”
“Definitely, And maybe we can bake together?” she suggested, her eyes lighting up.
“Sounds like a plan. I’m looking forward to it,” he replied, starting the engine and pulling out of the parking lot, feeling lighter now that they were back on the same page.
Y/N and Hyunjin stepped into the house, both feeling lighter after their shopping trip. But the moment they crossed the threshold, the atmosphere shifted. A huge argument echoed through the halls, making them pause.
“Man,” Hyunjin huffed, sighing as he grabbed all the bags out of the car. “What now?”
“Is everything okay? Why are they fighting?” Y/N asked, her brow furrowed in concern.
“Probably because of Seungmin,” Hyunjin replied, unlocking the door just as the argument grew louder. They navigated through the living room, which was empty, and entered the kitchen where Leeknow was cooking lunch.
“You aren’t getting involved?” Hyunjin snickered as he set down the snacks and Y/N’s supplies before reaching for his painting gear.
“Nope, the alphas are handling it. He made Felix cry,” Leeknow said, feeding Y/N a piece of kimchi. “Is it good?”
“Yes, oppa! But why is Felix crying?” she asked, reaching for I.N's snacks.
Leeknow exchanged a nervous glance with Hyunjin before he spoke. “Seungmin said some hurtful things, but it’s okay—”
“It is his fault! She wouldn’t even be here if he hadn’t brought her here!” Seungmin’s loud voice cut through the kitchen, making Y/N wince.
“No, it isn’t my fault! You’re the only one who has a problem!” Felix shrieked, his voice cracking as loud sobs followed.
“Hey! Both of you, cut it out now!” Changbin yelled, his commanding voice drowning out the chaos.
Feeling a mix of curiosity and concern, Y/N found her feet moving before she could think twice. She headed upstairs, Hyunjin right behind her. “Where are you going?” he asked, his tone a mix of worry and caution.
“I want to see what’s going on,” she replied, glancing back at him. “Maybe I can help.”
“Y/N, be careful,” he warned, though his tone held a hint of admiration for her bravery.
As they reached the top of the stairs, the argument grew even louder. Y/N stopped in front of a door slightly ajar, peeking inside to find Seungmin pacing, his face flushed with anger. Felix sat on the floor, tears streaming down his cheeks, while I.N stood with clenched fists, visibly upset.
“Can we all just calm down for a second?” I.N pleaded, his voice wavering. “This isn’t helping anyone!”
“Easy for you to say! You’re not the one who feels like the outsider here!” Seungmin shot back, frustration evident in his tone.
“Y/N is part of our pack now! You need to accept that!” Felix shouted through his tears, his voice breaking.
Hyunjin stepped forward, squeezing Y/N’s hand. “Maybe we shouldn't go in,” he suggested, his expression serious.
“Wait,” Y/N whispered, feeling the tension in the air. “I think I need to say something.” She took a deep breath, ready to step into the fray.
She squeezed Hyunjin’s hand for reassurance, then stepped into the room, her presence instantly capturing everyone's attention.
“Guys,” she said, her voice steady but gentle, “can we all just take a moment?”
I.N’s eyes widened in surprise, and Felix quickly wiped his tears, looking hopeful. “Y/N, you shouldn’t have to—”
“No, let her speak,” Hyunjin interrupted, stepping beside her. “She deserves to be heard.”
Y/N nodded, gathering her thoughts as she faced the room. “I know things have been tense since I got here. I appreciate that you all care so much, but I don’t want to be the reason for any more fighting. You’re my pack now, and I want us to get along.”
“Y/N, you don’t have to—” Changbin started, but she held up a hand.
“I do want to. It’s important to me. I know it’s hard for everyone to adjust, especially with how things started. But I really want to make this work,” she said, glancing at each of them. “You all mean a lot to me already, and I don’t want anyone to feel like they’re not included.”
Felix sniffled, his eyes glistening. “I just want us all to be happy.”
“Exactly,” Y/N encouraged, her voice steady. “Let’s find a way to support each other instead of pushing each other away. I promise I’m not here to take anyone’s place. I want to grow with all of you.”
“This is pathetic,” Seungmin scoffed, crossing his arms defiantly.
“Seriously, what’s your problem with me?” Y/N shot back, her gaze unwavering. “I get that you don’t like me, but the rest of the pack does. So what’s the issue? Can you stop bullying me and just back off?” Her voice carried a mix of frustration and hurt, and the room fell silent, the tension palpable.
“You don’t even know me, so why do you have a problem with me?” she continued, her voice firm but shaking slightly.
Seungmin only scoffed again before storming out, leaving everyone else in the room exchanging worried glances.
“I’ll go talk to him,” Chan sighed, getting off his bed and making his way after the beta. He paused to give Felix and Han a quick kiss on the forehead, offering them a reassuring smile.
Y/N felt a wave of frustration wash over her; she couldn’t bear to see Felix upset because of her. “I need some air,” she murmured and quickly slipped out of the room.
“Hey, are you okay?” Hyunjin called after her, his brow furrowing in concern. He gently grabbed her arm, stopping her from walking away.
“I just… I need to nest and have some time alone. Can you show me my room?” she sighed, looking up at him with tired eyes.
“Yeah, of course,” he replied, his tone warm and understanding. “Let’s go.”
They walked down the corridor together, the atmosphere lightening a little as they made their way to her room. “I’ll drop my stuff in my room and then come help you move the bags from Felix’s,” Hyunjin said, glancing at her.
She nodded, grateful for his support. Once they got the bags with all her new items and reached her room, which was similar to Felix’s but with a larger bed—likely because it was one of the guest rooms—Y/N felt a bit of relief wash over her.
She sat down in the middle of her bags, feeling the weight of the day finally starting to lift. Hyunjin flopped onto the bed, scrolling through his social media while occasionally checking in on her.
Y/N focused on folding her clothes, lost in her own thoughts as she neatly organized everything. Meanwhile, Hyunjin couldn’t resist snapping another photo of her, capturing the moment as she concentrated, wishing he could know what was going through her mind.
“Hey,” he said suddenly, breaking the silence. “You’re really good at this. Need any help?”
She looked up, surprised by his offer. “I appreciate it, but I think I’ve got it. Just give me a moment.”
“Okay, but I’m right here if you need me,” he assured her, a warm smile lighting up his face.
Feeling a bit lighter, Y/N smiled back, grateful for his presence.
She sighed again as she sat in the middle of the bags, her frustration bubbling beneath the surface. The tension from earlier with Seungmin still clung to her like a heavy blanket, and she felt overwhelmed. Hyunjin watched her from the bed, his heart aching for her. He wanted to comfort her, but he didn’t want to intrude.
“Hey,” he said softly again, breaking the silence. “You know, it’s okay to feel upset about Seungmin. He’s just… complicated.”
“Complicated?” she scoffed, folding a shirt with more force than necessary. “That’s one way to put it. I don’t understand why he has to be like this. I haven’t done anything to him.”
“Yeah, he can be a bit of a bully sometimes,” Hyunjin admitted, shifting to sit on the edge of the bed. “But it’s not about you. He has his own issues to deal with. It doesn’t make it right, though.”
“Doesn’t make it any easier for me either,” she replied, finally looking up to meet his gaze. “I just want to feel like I belong here, and he’s making that really hard.”
Hyunjin’s heart swelled with empathy. “You do belong, Y/N. I promise. The others see it, even if Seungmin can’t right now. Give him time.”
She nodded, but doubt still flickered in her eyes. “I just don’t want to be a burden to anyone. I hate that Felix is upset because of me.”
“Felix cares about you. We all do,” he reassured her. “He’ll come around. And as for Seungmin, he’ll figure it out eventually. You just have to keep being you.”
“Being me seems to be causing chaos,” she muttered, trying to chuckle but it came out as more of a sigh.
“Sometimes chaos is part of the process,” Hyunjin replied with a small smile. “Look at it this way: if he’s reacting this strongly, it means you matter. He wouldn’t waste energy on you if he didn’t.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow, the corners of her mouth lifting slightly. “You really think so?”
“Absolutely. Just hang in there,” he said, his voice warm and encouraging. “Now, let’s tackle these bags. You can’t nest properly until your stuff is sorted.”
As they began to unpack again, Hyunjin found himself stealing glances at her, admiring how she focused on each item with care. She was mesmerizing in her own way, and he couldn’t help but capture another photo of her, hoping to remember this moment.
“Hyunjin, are you going to keep taking pictures of me?” she asked, catching him mid-snap.
“Maybe,” he replied playfully, grinning. “But only because you look cute while you work.”
“Cute, huh?” she said, rolling her eyes but unable to suppress a smile. “Keep that up, and I might start thinking you’re flirting with me.”
“Would that be so bad?” he teased, leaning back on his hands, a mischievous glint in his eye.
“Maybe not,” she admitted, her cheeks flushing slightly. “But let’s focus on unpacking first.”
“Deal,” he said, and they fell into a comfortable rhythm, chatting and laughing as they sorted through her belongings.
As the last bag was put away, Y/N finally felt a sense of calm washing over her. Nesting was important, and with Hyunjin’s support, she felt a little more at home. “Thanks for helping me,” she said softly, her gratitude genuine.
“Anytime, Y/N.” He paused, glancing toward the door. “Let’s get ready to leave, yeah? Practice starts soon and i think Chan will want us to have lunch before we leave,”
“Yeah,” she agreed.

I feel kind of angsty today and I’m in the mood to just read something that makes me cry so hear me out.Minho/Chan or Felix argue with you because you feel neglected and such in because they are so busy and barley make time for you and you just want to feel a little affection and they are also upset because they are stressed and kind of blow up and say stuff they shouldn’t have and evereyone is upset.Maybe they solve it (or they don’t if you want to be mean). But I really need something gut wrenching.
(Also don’t rush and take your time with writing this if you even want to<3)

Minho races down the stairs, cursing quietly as he drops his keys. He quickly bends down to pick them up, and his glasses, which he only quickly pushed up his nose before, fall onto the floor.
"Are you okay?" you ask, amused.
"Obviously not," he says, clearly annoyed.
"Well, can I help?" you ask gently, and Minho firmly shakes his head, grabbing his sneakers.
"I'm late; there's nothing you can do about that," he tells you, and you're about to answer, but he cuts you off. "Yongbok! I swear if you don't move your ass down here in five seconds, I'll drive without you!" he yells upstairs, making you flinch at the volume of his voice.
"Is Channie already-?"
"Don't think he slept here tonight," Minho shakes his head and grabs his bag. "FELIX!"
"Minho, for fucks sake!" Felix yells back and appears at the top of the stairs. "I swear, this man is driving me crazy. As if those five seconds would make any difference at this point, my God. It's Hyunjin, he won't kill us!" he curses as he walks downstairs, his hair messily falling around his head.
"Don't you start talking English now and think I don't know that means you're talking shit about me," Minho tells him, throwing his sneakers at him. "Put those on, we're late."
"Well, if someone wouldn't have taken so long waking up today," Felix comments and rolls his eyes at him. He looks up, startled, as you carefully brush his hair back for him, trying to fix the mess. "Not now, Y/nnie, we have to leave," he gently shakes you off.
You pull back your hand and nod gently, glancing at Minho, who's grabbing his stuff and unlocking the door. "Bye, see you later!" he shouts and waves you, stepping outside. Only two seconds later, he's back. "Felix, I swear I will kick you."
"Fuck off," Felix curses under his breath and grabs his things, waving at you and slipping outside as well. The door falls closed, and you're standing still for a moment.
"Well, good morning and goodbye to you too. I love you too," you whisper to yourself and sigh softly. Turning around you spot their packed lunch boxes still on the table. "Shit," you curse and throw your head back, frustrated. You know they barely make time to eat unless you made it. Well, maybe you could visit them later, get your kiss, and check on Chan.
You stand still in the suddenly very empty house and try to remember the last time they were all home and you've spent some quality time together. It feels like months and you soon realize it has been. One of them has always been either working or not even in the country. Sometimes it really doesn't feel like you're living with your three boyfriends but some roommates who stop by now and then.
"Oh, come on, don't be so dramatic," you shake your head and chew on your lower lip. You don't know when the last time was you had breakfast all together, you got a kiss goodbye from all of them or they came back in time for dinner. Needless to say, no one has properly touched you in weeks as well. Were you that easy to forget? Are you just another assignment to get done on their daily to-do lists? Something they could just reschedule to another day if they can't make time for it?
Sighing softly you make your way upstairs and rummage through your closet, searching for a nice outfit. You find a cute summer dress they all love and decide on that. After a quick shower, you fix your hair and make yourself presentable.
-
Only a little later, you're walking down the hallway to their practice room and gently knock at the door, letting yourself inside. Minho demonstrates some steps as Felix and Hyunjin watch him closely and try to mirror his movements. Felix messes up a step, and Minho starts laughing at him, chasing him through the room. He wraps his arms around his waist and pulls him against his chest, kissing his cheek. "Yongbokie, come on," he giggles softly, and Felix tries to squirm away from him.
"I'm sorry, hyungie," he laughs, eyes shining bright. "I promise I'll do better."
"Once you're done flirting, we could continue?" Hyunjin groans playfully annoyed.
Minho turns with Felix in his hold, and they face you. Surprise laces their features. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" Minho asks confused.
"Oh, you forgot your lunch today, and I didn't know how long you'd be at the company," you tell them, and Minho nods gently.
"Thanks," he tells you and lets go of Felix, walking over to his phone.
Felix stretches tiredly and watches Minho as he scrolls through his phone. "You wanna go again?"
Minho glances at his watch before nodding. "We should. We have like an hour before the rest join us." You nod gently to yourself and put their lunch down on the bench next to their stuff. "Chan's at the studio," he tells you before turning the music back on.
You watch them stunned as they continue practicing and don't really notice the compassionate smile Hyunjin gives you. Your throat tightens, and you quickly make your way outside. You're clearly not needed here.
You knock at the door, and Jisung opens the door, smiling at you brightly. "Hey, Y/n," he beams at you and pulls you into a hug. "Chan hyung, look who's here."
"Ji, I told you no visitors right now," he groans and pulls off his headphones with a heavy sigh. He spots you in the door and nods. "Oh, hi."
"Hi," you say quietly, holding on tightly to the box in your hand. "I just wanted to bring you your lunch. I won't disturb you for long."
"Ah, okay," he says and gestures toward the small table next to the door. "Just put it there, I'll eat later. Thanks, Y/n."
"You're welcome," you nod and are about to leave again but hesitate for a moment.
"Anything else?" Chan asks, not even looking at you.
"Will you be home tonight?" you ask gently, and he raises his eyebrows, still not looking over.
"Why?"
"Because you weren't yesterday," you say and see Jisung's confused frown at that.
"Hyung, you promised," Changbin sighs from his spot on the sofa, rolling his eyes at you in secrecy.
"Y/n, we've been over this before. If I get done in time, I'll be there; if not, then not," he announces, almost a little annoyed.
You scoff at him and put down the box heavily. "Sorry for asking, I guess," you spit out and open the door, stopping when you hear him groan.
"Stop being so pushy, my god," Chan rolls his eyes and looks at you for the first time today. "I'll be there. Are you happy now?"
"You know what?" you ask lowly. "You can stay here for another night. It makes no difference if you guys are there or not, you only have eyes for each other or work. Sometimes I wonder why my three roommates even need me."
"What the fuck did you just say?" Chan asks quietly and stares at you.
"You fucking heard me," you spit out with tears burning in your eyes. "At this rate, I'm just part of the interior. You don't say good morning, you don't say goodnight, you're not home for dinner, you're not there. And if you are you're busy with work or talk to Minho and Felix only. You don't need me right now, and that fucking hurts, Chan."
"Okay, that's enough delusional behavior for one day," Chan gets up with a groan and shakes his head at you. "We'll talk about this tonight, but right now, I really don't have time for this."
"Don't bother," you shake your head at him, heart breaking. "I'll take myself back out."
"Hyung," Changbin sighs a little, but Chan ignores him.
"Come on, Y/nnie, I'll take you to your car, yeah?" Jisung says gently and wraps his arm around you, pulling you outside. "He doesn't mean it. He's being dumb."
"Yes, he does; they all do," you sniffle, and Jisung frowns at you.
"What do you mean?" he asks worriedly.
"It's been like this for weeks now. They all rush out of the house and act like I don't exist anymore," you tell him, hot tears falling down your cheeks. "I know they're stressed; I know they have a lot to do, but is it really too much to ask?"
"No, Y/nnie, it isn't," he shakes his head and pulls you into a tight hug. "I'm sure what you're describing is true. They sometimes forget everything around them when things here get rough. I'm sorry, hun," he says and soothingly rubs your back. He thinks for a moment before shaking his head and gently patting your back. "Come on, they'll never learn if they don't see what it does to you."
"No, Ji, they're busy-" you protest through tears.
"I don't care," he shakes his head and leads you down the hallway. He rips open the door to the room and pulls you with him to Minho's phone, turning the music off. "Hyunjin, you come with me. You two have something to fix here."
Minho blinks at him, confused, and his face falls, seeing you crying in his arms. "Y/nnie, kitten," he says worriedly and quickly makes his way over. "Honey, what's wrong?" he asks gently, cupping your face and searching your eyes. "Hey, look at me," he says softly.
"Y-You don't need me," you hiccup, and Minho frowns at you.
"What do you mean?" he asks, confused, and Felix steps next to you, gently rubbing your lower back.
"Babe?" Felix asks worriedly as you don't answer.
"Go get Channie," Minho tells him, eyes widening as you furiously shake your head. Chan is usually the best to comfort you when you are really upset. "No? Why, kitten? What happened?"
"Channie s-says I'm delusional," you sob quietly as Minho sits down on the bench and pulls you into his lap.
"What?" Felix asks, confused. "Did you two get into a fight?" he asks, sitting down next to the two of you.
You bury your face in Minho's chest, so desperate for such a simple gesture. Sobs shake your body as you tell them about what happened with Chan and how neglected you felt during those past weeks. It all flows freely now, and they both listen quietly, not interrupting you once. Minho's hand rubs your back soothingly, and Felix fondles your hair gently.
"Oh kitten, I'm so sorry," Minho apologizes sincerely once you're done. "I had no idea you were suffering that much because of us."
"You're right, babe, we're so busy we sometimes forget about you or act a little harsh," Felix nods guiltily and leans down to kiss your head. "I'm so sorry we made you feel like that. You don't deserve that one bit, my dear."
"I know I'm being dramatic," you sniffle into Minho's shirt.
"No, you're not," he shakes his head and rests his head against yours. You really aren't. I didn't even say goodbye properly today. Or good morning," he says, his voice laced heavily with guilt. "And...I should've told you how beautiful you look today the minute you stepped inside."
You giggle sadly and pull back. "Yeah?"
"Mhm, our pretty girl," Felix adds fondly as Minho wipes your cheeks.
"We love you so much, even if we act like idiots sometimes," Minho promises and kisses your forehead.
"I love you guys too," you tell them with a sad little smile.
"I'll go and get Channie, okay?" Felix asks softly, and you nod timidly. He giggles at the comment Minho makes and quickly makes his way to the studio. He doesn't knock at the door and steps inside. "Channie babe, we need you."
"Not now, Lix," Chan shakes his head, writing down some things for Jisung.
"Minho said if you don't move your ass over there in two minutes top he won't have sex with you for the next three months. Our tour comes up, you don't wanna risk that," Felix says with a straight face, making Changbin and Jisung crack up.
Chan glances up at him suspiciously and sees Felix isn't joking. "Oh my fucking God, fine!"
Felix walks next to him and glances at Chan thoughtfully. "Push the group back for a moment, yeah? Stray Kids doesn't matter now, she does."
Chan's face falls a little and he straightens up as they reach the door. "Yeah, okay," he says quietly and steps inside with him. You're curled up in Minho's lap on the floor by now as he's playing with your hair. Tear streaks paint your cheeks, your eyes are reddish, and you're sniffling a little. "Baby, I'm sorry," Chan sighs and gets down on the floor next to you. "I'm stressed out, I didn't sleep last night, and I took it out on you. I'm an idiot, please forgive me?" he asks guiltily and hesitantly takes your hand. He must've really hurt you if you went to Minho and Felix about it. You usually prefer to settle arguments privately.
"It's not just you," Minho shakes his head, and Felix sums it up for him. Chan nods along, and his heart gets heavier with every word leaving his boyfriend's lips.
"Oh, Y/nnie baby," he whispers with tears in his eyes. "Can I give you a hug?" You nod timidly and climb off Minho's lap and into his arms instead. Chan pulls you in tight, burying his face in your shoulder. You relax in his hold and close your eyes. No matter how mad or hurt you were, you would never deny one of Chan's healing long hugs. "I'm so sorry, you're right, we've messed up big time. I love you so much, yeah? You're so beautiful and kind, and I could never stop loving you, baby. Never. I will do better, I promise."
"I love you too," you whisper and exhale softly, your heart feeling a lot lighter now that you've told them all. Minho and Felix join your hug and kiss your hair. "You'll be home tonight?" you ask timidly.
"Yeah, we'll all be home," Chan assures you kindly and squeezes you.

Spooky 3 (California Kings// Poly Chanlix)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
poly chanlix (bang chan x reader x felix) themes: polyamory/throuple, fluffy, funny, two boyfriend shenanigans, mention of sex, alaskan king bed (not californian king), three parts of halloween with your boyfriends ♡ Spooky Season 2023♡
Part I: Costumes
“Ok boys,” you announced as you jumped onto the bed where the two were relaxing. “spooky season is upon us. It is time to decide on costumes.“
Felix sat up excitedly. “Oh yeah! We have to do something good.”
“Should we go trio again?”
Chan, who was watching tv, paused his video. “It’s one of the fun things about being together. You have to take advantage of it.”
You nodded. “Important question: are either of you opposed to wearing dresses?”
Chan seemed confused but Felix just shrugged. “Nah.” Chan echoed the same sentiment after a moment before adding “Do you have a good idea or do you just want to see us in dresses?”
“Yeah,” Felix added. “Because we’ll do it anytime.”
The thought made you giddy but you refocused. “In that case, we could always go classic trio. Powerpuff Girls!”
The men seemed less than enthused.
You shrugged “Just a thought.”
“Hmm,” Chan hummed in thought. “What about Ghostbusters?”
“There are 4 Ghostbusters.” You frowned.
He groaned, rolling his eyes. “Ok maybe we just say Stantz is sick.”
Felix shook the mattress as he jumped up and down in excitement. “O! What about Batman, Robin, and Batgirl!”
Your eyes light up. “That’s a great idea!”
Chan sat up, now excited as well. “Good idea, Lix!”
“I wanna be Robin!” the younger says.
“I’ll be Batman. Robin shouldn’t go kissing my girl though.” Chan jests.
He starts searching for costumes on his laptop as Felix protests next to him. “Actually Dick and Barbara were together-”
“Sure, Boy Wonder.”
Felix jumps on Chan as they begin to play fight. You laugh as you take the laptop and peruse through a list of trio costumes. Some are interesting though less fun than Felix’s idea, others have you cringing at the suggestions.
“Oh what about Woody, Buzz, and Jessie from Toy Story!”
Chan sits up from where he has Felix pinned under him, holding the boy’s wrists in his hand. “Oh that’s a good one too!”
Felix squirms under him. “I wanna be Buzz!”
“Trying to get with my girl again, Lightyear?”
“Buzz and Jessie are together!”
Chan knows that but has fun egging his boyfriend’s ranting on.
Next to them, you add both positively received ideas to the list, knowing you might have to deal with it more later since your boyfriends seem riled up now.
Part II: Party Party...yeah?
Three drunks at party can get rough.
Part of the time you three are glued together, somewhere in the middle of where the dancing is happening, grinding on each other in a way that has people that don’t know you questioning if they’re going to see a threesome and the three of you about to give them that show.
Or
The other times you are all lost in the dim party lighting unsure of when you separated. You become aware of the lack of warmth you’re used to and drunkenly look for your boyfriends. Thankfully, you find your oldest boyfriend with a trash bag. Somehow he’s managed to clean part of the kitchen in the time you lost track of him. With a groan, you take the bag from him. “We need to find Lixxie. I’m tired and the music is making me want to hit someone.”
He seems to sober up ever so slightly, recognizing you’re at the point where you can’t handle being around other people like this. Last time he and Felix insisted on you staying with them you ended up passing out in a linen closet and they couldn’t find you for three hours.
He takes your hand intending to lead you but you walk much faster. You want to find your third before you start crying. Alcohol and your emotions make for a rollercoaster when you aren’t careful.
And with the way the three of you were downing "ghost shots" when you arrived, you weren’t careful at all.
Chan spots the blonde in his Robin costume. You didn’t see him at first but saw the man sifting through the bowl of candy as you approached.
“You remember we have candy at home right?” Chan says making Felix jump. He was barely phased by the older being strangely close, instead, his attention turned to your purse. “Yeah, but this is free candy.” He gently tugs you closer to him by the strap. You’re confused for a second, not having paid attention too much thanks to how good he looks in his costume, until you realize what he’s doing. He unzips your bag, dumping his loot in. The purse is more decorative than anything else but he doesn’t seem to care much.
“Technically our candy IS free for you because I bought it.” Chan chastises though doesn’t try to stop him. Clearly, he wasn’t listening anyway as he took a final mini snicker before zipping the bag.
He finally looks up at you, whining. “Can we go home now?”
Chan rolls his eyes probably muttering how that is why you both came to find him but you're so endeared by him you just nod and take his hand.
Part III: Back to Bed
Coming into the house was already alleviating the pressure you felt. As if you couldn’t stand it anymore you started to strip as you made for the bedroom immediately. Felix follows suit, mask then cape, before basically breaking the back of the outfit to pull it down around his waist. Chan starts cleaning up behind you two silently.
By the time you flop back on the bed, you’ve somehow managed to pull yours completely off.
Chan sees Felix struggling with the tightness of the pants. You open your eyes at the grunt Felix lets out. As you watch Chan start to strip Felix you feel the sparks of arousal. Felix in turn helps your Batman do the same. Your mind starts to delve further into desire as he fixes Chan’s hair after undressing him. It’s short-lived as Felix pouts, putting his arms out to hug you but tackling you backward onto the bed instead. You laugh as you stroke his head. His hair tickles you while he buries his face in your neck. You look up, wondering why Chan hasn’t joined yet.
Silently, he’s picking up everything on the floor. You watch for a moment as he flints around the room like a fairy, cleaning the tornado that is his drunken partners. You laugh to yourself as you get up. Doing as you did earlier, you take the discarded costume from his hand. He looks confused but lets you lead him to the bed. You sit on the bed, holding his hand to drag him with you as you scoot back. Felix finds you again with his eyes still closed as Chan lays on his back with a deep sigh.
The alcohol settles in your system again as you feel how tired you are.
Chan seems to feel the same. “Only two more to go.”
“Huh?” you look over to him, his hands behind his head and his eyes closed.
He opens an eye to peek at you. “Minho’s party is next week.” Chan states.
“And our company party is on Halloween.” Felix adds.
You groan loudly rolling to your side to curl into a ball. Somehow you’d forgotten it was only the 20th. “We shoulda just gone as ghosts.”
Felix laughs and he sits up resting on your side. “Sounds like more free candy to me.”

Too Sweet II
Tumblr media
Notes: Part 2! In case it wasn't clear from the previous instalment, SKZ are not idols in this story.
Comments, likes, and reblogs are always appreciated <3
---
Hyunjin woke from a fitful sleep and groaned as he stretched out his stiff muscles. He must have passed out on the balcony floor because he didn't remember anything after collapsing onto it the previous night. If the soreness in his throat and eyes was any indication, he probably sobbed for hours before eventually tiring himself out. At least it hadn't rained overnight.
The sky was melting from dark blue into the pink-orange of dawn, and so Hyunjin guessed it was around 5 or 6am. He didn't have to be in work until 8, but the last thing he wanted was to bump into any of his pack mates. Minho was usually the first one up, since he liked to cook breakfast for everyone before heading to work himself. Hyunjin could still hear Minho's cruel words as clear as day:
"You're selfish... you're just being a brat and don't like being told no."
He didn't have the energy to cry anymore, and now he just felt a stinging resentment towards the other man. Towards all of them, for that matter. They had all rejected him, one way or another. Well, fuck them. Hyunjin suddenly couldn't wait to get to work just so he could be away from them all for the rest of the day.
He pulled himself to his feet and slipped quietly inside the house, tiptoeing to the shower before any of the others woke up.
---
Minho stood over a sizzling pan of eggs in the kitchen, knowing from experience that the smell of food was the most effective method of rousing his sleeping pack mates. However, he was distracted this morning as he sprinkled pepper and grated cheese into the breakfast pan.
He had woken up feeling terrible about his argument with Hyunjin. He hadn't meant to be so harsh with him, he had just assumed Hyunjin wanted attention and Minho wasn't in the mood to give it -- having been focussed on spending time with Jisung. But when he went over the conversation the next morning, he remembered Hyunjin mentioning that he wanted comfort.
Minho knew that Hyunjin had a sensitive heart, and probably took Minho and Jisung's rejection badly. He had gone to Hyunjin's room to apologise as soon as he woke up, but found it empty. The bed didn't appear to have been slept in, which probably meant that Hyunjin had spent the night with one of the others. That at least eased Minho's guilty conscience somewhat, knowing that Hyunjin hadn't spent the night alone.
Still, he wanted to apologise properly and he perked up when he heard footsteps padding to the kitchen, but it was only Chan.
"Morning," the pack leader greeted, slipping his arms around Minho's waist. "Mmm that smells good."
"Morning. You look like you've been electrocuted."
Chan's hair was notoriously difficult to tame, especially first thing in the morning when it took on a life of its own and moulded itself into very strange shapes. Accustomed to the teasing, the pack leader only laughed and hugged Minho tighter.
"It's cause I have so much rizz it electrifies my hair."
It was such a stupid, 'Chan' response and Minho rolled his eyes, but the gesture was fond.
"Did Hyunjin sleep with you and Felix last night?"
"No why?"
Minho sighed. "He came to our room and asked to come in, but Jisung and I had planned to have a night to ourselves so we said no. He got really upset about it and we ended up arguing."
"Hm... you know I thought I heard our door open at one point, but Felix and I were kind of... occupied," Chan grimaced. "Maybe he went to Innie and Seungmin instead?"
As if on cue, Jeongin wandered into the kitchen mid-yawn, followed by Felix and Jisung. "Morning. Ooh eggs?"
"Did Hyunjin sleep in your room last night?" Minho asked him.
"No. He wanted to but we were tired so I think he went to find Felix."
"Hm?" Felix glanced at Jeongin with surprise. "He didn't sleep with us."
"I went to his room this morning and his bed hadn't been slept in," Minho stated.
"Then where did he sleep?" Jisung asked worriedly.
"You don't think he slept in the nest alone do you?" Chan asked.
Both Felix and Jisung whimpered at the suggestion. Jeongin stood up and announced that he would go and check.
"Fuck." Minho wiped a hand over his face. "I shouldn't have yelled at him. I should have just let him sleep with us."
Jisung moved to his side and stroked his mate's back. "It's not your fault. We didn't realise he would end up sleeping by himself."
Jeongin returned a few seconds later with Seungmin in tow. "He's not in the nest but I think he's in the bathroom."
"Well, when he comes down we can all apologise," Chan instructed, to which the others all nodded in agreement.
---
In all the commotion, Hyunjin had almost forgotten what date it was until a reminder popped up on the calendar in his phone. The gallery was hosting a huge exhibition that evening, complete with a champagne reception and lots of local journalists and photographers to document the event. Hyunjin himself had helped to organise it and selected several of the pieces that would be showcased.
He had been looking forward to it, but now as he stood in front of the bathroom mirror blotting the bags under his eyes with concealer, he dreaded the thought of being in the spotlight and having to pose for photos all evening. Still, there was nothing for it -- and at least this way he would have an excuse for staying out late.
Once he had done as much damage control as possible, he carefully folded his suit for the evening over his arm (still in the plastic from when it had been dry-cleaned) and went downstairs. He was hoping to quietly slip out to his car without bumping into anyone, but he barely made it to the bottom of the staircase before several figures came running out of the kitchen.
"Hyunjinnie!" Felix and Jisung cried in unison, making a beeline for him.
Hyunjin was so caught off guard that his voice came out more sharply than he intended. "Don't!"
Felix and Jisung froze in their tracks, staring at him with twin pairs of sad boba eyes. The rest of the pack soon poured out into the hallway at the sound of Hyunjin's raised voice.
"Jinnie what's wrong?" Felix asked sadly.
"Nothing, it's just this is my best suit and I can't have it getting creased," Hyunjin replied, indicating the clothing draped over his arm.
"Hyunjin, we know why you're really upset," said Chan, trying to keep the peace. "We know you slept in the nest by yourself."
"I didn't sleep in the nest," said Hyunjin.
Chan seemed to ignore this statement. "We're really sorry we didn't comfort you when you needed us. We want to make it up to you."
Several of the others nodded vigorously and echoed Chan's apology. Hyunjin noticed that Minho stayed silent and wouldn't meet his eyes. He resisted the urge to scoff -- Minho probably still thought he just wanted attention.
"Why don't we all spend tonight together, as a pack?" Chan suggested. "We can order pizza, then I'm sure Jinnie can choose a nice film for us to watch. And we can all sleep together in the nest."
This was met with a chorus of enthusiastic agreements, but Hyunjin only felt awkward and irritated. Usually he loved being made a fuss of by his pack, but this felt like pity -- like they were only offering to spend the night with him because they felt sorry for him.
"I can't. I have an exhibition after work tonight."
"Is this the one you helped put together?" Seungmin asked.
"Yeah. You guys go ahead and do what you want, but I won't be back until late."
"That's okay," said Chan. "We'll hold off on the pizza and films until we can all be together, but you can still come and join us in the nest when you get back, doesn't matter how late it is."
Hyunjin sighed impatiently. "I'm gonna be exhausted, I'd rather sleep by myself tonight."
Felix stuck out his lower lip. "But Jinnie--"
"Look I have to go. Don't wait up for me."
Before anyone else could say a word, Hyunjin fled through the front door. He half-expected them to run out and chase him to his car, but none of them did and he couldn't decide whether that made him feel better or worse.
---
It was lucky that Hyunjin did head into work earlier than usual because there was a lot to do in preparation for the exhibition. He had never worked on such a large scale event before and he hadn't realised how much work went into making sure it ran smoothly. There was the venue, the decorations, the music, the caterers, the photographers, the journalists, and of course the artwork itself that all needed last-minute checks.
Hyunjin found himself running back and forth all day, barely finding time to stuff a sandwich and a coffee in his mouth at lunch, but the chaos certainly did a good job of keeping him distracted. He didn't even have a chance to look at his phone until he was getting changed for the event at 6pm.
There were numerous texts from Felix, Chan, Jeongin and Seungmin wishing him luck for the event, but nothing from Jisung or Minho. Hyunjin wasn't surprised by their lack of response, although he didn't have time to respond to any of them because Soyeon was already knocking on the door.
"Hyunjinnie, we have to get downstairs before guests start arriving!"
"Coming!"
Hyunjin put his phone on silent and slipped it into his jacket pocket, taking one last glance in the full-length mirror. He was wearing his tailored cream Versace suit that had been a birthday gift from the pack, one of his most treasured possessions. Because it was custom made, it fit him perfectly: accentuating the slender lines of his body and complimenting his honeyed skin and glossy black hair. He had finished off the look with a simple gold chain and hoop earrings, dusting his eyelids with glitter.
Did he want to look good for the event? Obviously. But was he also a petty bitch who hoped that the pack would see photos on social media and feel deeply regretful that they didn't ravish him when they had the chance? Definitely.
The first couple of hours went even better than expected. The venue was packed, but not so crowded that guests couldn't comfortably wander between the pieces of art and stand back to admire each display. Hyunjin was pleased to see that the pieces he had selected were particularly popular and always had knots of people surrounding them. The owner of the gallery even thanked him personally when he made his speech, and Hyunjin blushed bright red at the round of applause he received in response.
It was a little while later, when Hyunjin was taking a breather from speaking to the guests about his chosen pieces, that Soyeon handed him a glass of champagne and leaned in to whisper conspiratorially in his ear. "Have you seen the really hot guy back there?"
"Everyone here is hot, you''ll have to be more specific."
Soyeon gestured over her shoulder. "He's the one with glasses and purple hair. A bit short but oh my God his muscles..."
Hyunjin raised an eyebrow at her. "Aren't you a bit too gay to be fawning over a guy's muscles?"
"Aren't you a bit too single to be turning your nose up so quickly?"
"I'm not single! I have six boyfriends!"
"You don't have a mate though," Soyeon specified.
Soyeon was Hyunjin's colleague and friend, who also belonged to a large pack although hers was all female. She was also one of the few people in Hyunjin's life who could match his level of sass, which delighted and galled him in equal measure depending on the day. He was currently leaning towards the latter.
"Thanks for reminding me," Hyunjin said bitterly.
Soyeon sighed and spoke in a gentler tone. "I know it's been bothering you lately, and I don't like to see you upset. Just go talk to him, what's the harm?"
"Isn't that a bit desperate? Hitting on some random guy just in case he happens to be my..."
Hyunjin's voice trailed off and the breath choked in his lungs. A purple-haired man stepped out of the crowd across the room, and he was -- without a doubt -- the most attractive man Hyunjin had ever seen. Not even Felix's pixie-like beauty or Minho's model handsomeness could touch this man's sheer masculine presence: the sharp curve of his jaw, his winning smile and perfect teeth, the broad shoulders giving way to--
Oh Lord have mercy.
Soyeon had not been kidding about his muscles. He wore a chic dark grey suit and white shirt, and he had removed the jacket which was now slung casually over one shoulder. The sleeves of his shirt had been rolled up and were straining against the bulging honey-toned biceps squeezed inside them. One swift movement would surely rip the material to shreds.
Normally Hyunjin would have said that removing one's suit jacket at a black tie event was unacceptable, but he couldn't bring himself to spare a thought for etiquette at this moment. The man was currently engaged in conversation with a woman, a pretty blonde in a fuchsia dress who Hyunjin recognised as a respected art critic. She must have said something amusing because the man suddenly let out a hearty chuckle and the sound immediately made Hyunjin melt.
He was perfect. This was who Hyunjin had been waiting for, he just knew it.
"...mate."
