I've made peace with most of part 2, but they really missed a chance for some bridgerton-level lust when Colin thirsts over Pen when he's going to get the blanket.

Things Colin will have to grapple with in Part 2:

- his wife is Lady Whistledown and has used her connections to his family for both ill and good

- his wife planned on keeping her secret from him, even after the wedding

- Penelope has a clear purpose in her life, and he has not (or at least a purpose that isn’t solely his wife)

- she will not give up her purpose, even for him (I don’t know if show!Colin will even ask her to, except for her own safety)

- she has and continues to endanger herself on a daily basis

- he now shares one of London‘s biggest secrets and is responsible for keeping it that way, even from his family perhaps

- she is a prolific writer, and he does not hold his own writing in high esteem. Some jealousy for her talent will surely play a role
