Pokémon Violet and Scarlet have been released, and the Beans have been very busy playing. Pokémon Klavier and Apollo

Klavier does "the gay lean" towards a strange purple motorbike Pokémon.

Klavier rides Miraidon like a motorcycle. (For the love of Arceus, don't refer to it as a "hog".)

We caught our favourite derpy Pokémon!

We fought Team Star for the first time, and Klavier wondered if he might be on the wrong side.

At this point, we've played for 36 hours 15 minutes, caught 151 Pokémon, done 2 gyms, 1 Titan, and 1 Team Star base. Some of my friends are already finished - I have no idea how. The Beans and I play together for 2-4 hours a day and we are nowhere near done!

This all started because I had this idea of Trucy asking Maya for some grand gift ideas for Phoenix, and Maya blabbed about that one time they made the choco Phoenix bust. Originally just a simple Wright - Edgeworth family piece, it escalated into being a ridiculous mess that took me something like 3 weeks to finish. ...I think? I lost track of time at some point in the madness. I suppose you can have fun counting all characters. Because I'm definitely not going to. I have even hidden some mons, so if you like spot-the-mon (?) games, you're welcome. Print version will come sometime in the future <3 (edit: now available!) Process pics under the cut.

As you might be able to discern I added further ridiculousness as I went. I don't think I've ever painted something quite so detailed ever. Definitely never so many characters at once. I even repainted Phoenix completely at some point. Honestly I probably will nitpick until the end of time, so I'll let it sit for a while before uploading the print on the print shop because I need fresh eyes to discern whether I need to make any adjustments and I definitely don't have eyes at all anymore now.

More holiday requests! Some Ace Attorney ones this year which are fun, I haven't drawn PW stuff in ages, haha. Some of these are from an Ace Attorney/Frozen crossover that i finished writing years ago and still haven't POSTED IT'S DONE WHY AM I LIKE THIS i just need to sit down and finish editing it one of these days

The last one is from a very disturbing Matt/Juan (well, more like the doomed love square of 2-4 with Adrian/Matt/Juan/Celeste) psychological horrorshow I wrote a long time ago during a pretty dark time in my life, as you can probably guess from the shot, haha. Definitely not for children or the faint of heart.

Anyhow- the Gavin brother can be so special to me, I have an entire OneNote page dedicated to Pokémon teams for all the AA characters, Sebastian is my little guy, and I literally cry thinking about Mia every single day.

Twas thinking about what pokemon the characters would have in a sort of Pokemon AU.

Apollo's main mon is a Meowstic. Which just...I think it fits perfectly for him? They both have a thing for intense staring, plus Meowstic has a hidden eye pattern underneath its ears which I think suits Apollo's eye motif well. It's a pokemon people kinda forget about but it's such a good fit for him! I imagine it to be a pokemon he's had for a long time, but it didn't evolve until the start of AA4.

There are quite a few options for Trucy, but because I've been in a Scarlet Violet mood, I went with Floragato. Magician pokemon for the magician. Not fully evolved into Meowscarada yet. Also I gave her a Mime Jr! I just like that pokemon and I think Trucy would too! I also wanna give her a pokemon that could act as Mr. Hat, but I'll be honest I have NO idea what pokemon it would be lol.

And then Klavier. I thought about it for exactly zero seconds. The minute I picked up my stylus I was like "Alright, obviously I gotta give the rockstar the punk rock pokemon that literally battles by playing the air guitar. It's a match made in heaven. I do think, however, he would have a pokemon that would show more of his genuine nature underneath his rockstar persona. I'm not sure which Pokemon that would be.
