i’m not gonna lie — i’m still not over the way Arven grabbed my oc

One thing I’m kinda bummed out about is the fact that since Ash is no longer the main lead in the anime is that if/when the events of The Teal Mask are adapted, we won’t get the awesome spectacle of Ash teaming up with Ogerpon, nor will we get the chaos and shenanigans of the Team Rocket Trio trying to throw their hat in the ring with the Loyal Three. Then of course there’s all the possibilities of Pecharunt and Mochi Madness getting thrown into the mix. All around, I think it would have made for a really interesting story arc/multi-episode mini-arc and I think this idea deserves to be toyed with and explored a bit more.

Like what ever happened to "You can't have Jessie without James"!? Also Jessie of team rocket has a really iconic design how could you ever forget about her? Hello?

Like ok.. I'm literally obsessed with James because he's a huge sweetie who I have a massive crush on.. I'M THE #1 JAMES SELFSHIPPER AFTER ALL! He's literally the embodiment of my type of man., But I'm not automatically forgetting about Jessie, and I care about her backstory as much as James' backstory!

I'm only making this post because hardly anyone ever mentions how great Jessie is from my experience being on the internet.. I've only seen stuff about James even when the post isn't even about James. And then whenever it's a post about only James, they don't even care about Jessie not even being in it. Like I'd expect the fandom to give them both the equal amount of respect but apparently not.... Like this isn't about James?? Back off?? Give my man a break I swear to freaking GOD... /vneg

I'd understand having a favorite. James is my favorite too obviously Meowth being my second favorite.. But where are the Jessie fans? She literally became one of my comfort characters 😭

Team rocket fans who only give a shit about one of the members, and not the others, shouldn't be a team rocket fan imo. Like it's not team James although I kinda wish it was because he's the goat and I love him so so so much.,,

I used to be only a James fan though admittedly before becoming a fan of team rocket as a whole though.. Because like I said James is literally my type lmao.,, So like I don't know maybe I'm just way too passionate about this and overthinking about it too much...

I feel one of the main reasons why I'm too passionate though, is because he's my main f/o, and several people acting weird and all like "OMG I WANT HIM‼️" to my f/o while forgetting about his best friend makes me very uncomfortable.., I'd say I am kind of a selective selfshipper at this point........ And Jessie along with Meowth are my comfort characters so I hate people forgetting them and pretending James is the only person on the team.. To add onto this crowds of strangers or weird people when it comes to ONLY JAMES specifically makes me feel really sick to my stomach..

However, I shouldn't feel too anxious about it because there are more men in Pokemon who are more popular than James nowadays, having those weird fans.,,, but it still feels sorta odd knowing people are like this to James in the fandom, and I have this really big emotional attachment to him... Heck I even once heard about someone who said they were just like Jessebelle when it comes to him which made me wanna break down crying. I swear so many people are so weird over my f/o, forgetting about Jessie's existence, it genuinely makes me wanna pass out.,,

Now that I think about it though... it's sorta somewhat similar to the neighbors from Eddsworld situation in the fandom almost., because everyone who were fans of the neighbors cared about Jon the most because he's the sweet cinnamon roll, but didn't give a shit about Eduardo or Mark despite them all being a team in a way.. And having nice designs :'D

Sorry for bringing all this up this bugged me a little, Like I know every trio has that one fan favorite character.. But it genuinely feels like Jessie isn't talked about at all and it's kinda starting to annoy me.. Everytime the both of them are drawn in a sexy way on the internet as well, people only pay attention to James as if Jessie isn't quite literally what everyone's type usually is on the internet.., The only time Jessie is really talked about in the fandom is when it's all of them I kid you tf not. This is so freaking weird... 😭

A new form of Dragapult has been discovered!

In days gone by, this Dragon/Water-type Pokémon roamed the seas at mach speed, rivaling Sharpedo, it's natural aquatic predator. This form of Dragapult briefly traverses land to hunt and tend to its hatchlings. The young Dreepy that it carries on its head can be launched with the force of deep sea missiles, which they apparently enjoy as a pass time.

A Random AmeLiko/Pendantshipping Thought

Alright, so here’s a scenario I came up with while contemplating this ship, please bear with me as I rattle off this stream of consciousness:

Liko and Amethio have just started their relationship and everything is going great, with Amethio in particular going above and beyond to be as supportive and attentive of Liko and her dream as he can be.

In fact, he’s kind of neglecting himself and what he wants in this relationship, not that he’d ever complain. So long as Liko is happy and safe, he’s fine.

Since Liko is new to the whole concept of “dating” and she’s just so happy (and flustered) to be with Amethio, she doesn’t really pick up on it at first.

It starts out small, him doing her chores around the Brave Olivine so that she has more downtime, but it slowly but surely starts escalating into him doing more and more on her behalf.

Liko takes notice and questions him about it, but Amethio simply says he’s doing it all so she doesn’t have to and Liko can’t help but feel her heart swell. It seems to her Amethio’s love language is acts of service.

Things continue on like that for a while, the two continuing on their adventures and growing as trainers together. The two are undeniably still happy together, but Liko can’t help but notice how insistent Amethio is getting about letting him battle on her behalf. If she’s being honest, it’s giving her an uneasy feeling in the back of her head.

Things come to a head on one particular excursion when they end up in a fierce battle against a powerful Pokémon.

Amethio and his Ceruledge are giving it their all as they, Liko, and Floragato battle the foe before them. But something is wrong, they aren’t battling alongside one another, they’re undoubtedly out of sink and individually battling the wild Pokémon.

It comes down to the wire and Ceruledge ends up going down. Just as it’s about to be dealt a vicious blow, Floragato swings in and manages to not only save Ceruledge, but also drive away the wild Pokémon.

Liko’s celebrations are cut short when she notices that her boyfriend seems lost in thought and is caught off guard when he curtly says he’s fine.

Amethio is not fine.

He was the one that had a lifetime of battle experience. He was supposed to be the one to defeat that Pokémon. He was supposed to be the one protecting her.

So why is it she ended up being the one to come to his defense?

And then it hits him: she’s surpassed him and she no longer has a reason to return his love.

This thought hits Amethio like a Dynamic Punch and his composure threatens to crumble before he manages to collect himself.

Starting then and there, Amethio promises to become stronger and prove that he’s still worthy of Liko’s affection.

Liko notices almost immediately the shift in his demeanor. How he’s focusing more on training his Pokémon and pushing himself harder than ever. She can feel their relationship is straining and she’s afraid it’s something she did.

Amethio remains resistant every time she or anyone else presses him, simply stating that he’s fine and only trying to get stronger, but it just keeps getting more and more difficult for he and his Pokémon to cover their growing exhaustion.

Things eventually reach a breaking point when he finally collapses on the deck while having a practice battle with Friede.

When he eventually comes to in the infirmary, who else but Liko is there waiting to finally get answers out of him.

He dodges her prying time and again, but when she goes and starts crying while blaming herself for his recent behavior Amethio finally snaps and comes clean.

He tells her how he just isn’t enough. How he isn’t who she needs him to be. How he has to prove his worth to her before she realizes she’s better off without him and leaves him behind.

Liko pauses, the bigger picture snapping into place, and she starts bawling her eyes out and apologizing that she didn’t see it sooner as she hugs her boyfriend.

Amethio is left dumbfounded as he just sits there, but it doesn’t take long for his own realization and emotions to start overtaking him. He hugs her back in kind as tears streak his face.

The two stay there like that for a while, letting their emotions air out, but once they’ve collected themselves, they talk and agree to continue their relationship while in a way starting anew, standing side by side as equals as they continue their journeys together.

They spend the rest of the evening in each other’s embrace before drifting off to sleep that night.
