It's amazing what nature can do, what it can endure or create. Theres a certain peace when it comes to being able to watch something so fragile grow into something beautiful. There's a certain peace knowing that you are the reason for caring, feeding and protecting something that the world will be able to see. Often times death is around the corner and always a thought. Death will happen...so until then enjoy the life * You are an amazing flower to someone, so continue to grow and show appreciation to those who helped you blossom into the amazing person you are*

Half Lit

Sitting on the green dark grass

Early dawn.

I could see the half lit sky 

By the sun just to rise

And the moon on the other and 

The stars by its side

Still there

I felt the dewdrops against my palm

Resting on the wet grass.

There was a silence that soothed, 

No one around, 

The wind was blowing cool and down.

I could feel at least it around

The cloudless sky appeared  to be 

Winter’s...  soon it will be fully lit.

Wilt in The Whirlwind

I dream of a chilled mountain in a valley amid marula trees next to a clashing rocky shore where white and red amaryllis bloom. In the distance, dark clouds flash and boom, trees perspire and blow in the rain, the grass stagnates to muddy-pitch and stain lone branches snap then fall and the crushed flowers wilt in the whirlwind.
