Homicipher's not just an otome game???

I saw alot of people SIMPING over these monsters and I get it, im currently playing a game with a non-human as love interest, too but I didn't go along with the hype cuz they weren't my type

then I saw one of my fav youtuber play it with the vid captioned "Trendy horror game where I have to make stupid convo with monsters to escape" smth like that and I was confused cuz that didn't sound like a otome game AT ALL so I checked it out and from the start of the game you're being spoken gibberish with no given hints so throughout the game you're basically playing detective trying to decipher all the words they're saying

im halfway through the gameplay and im ripping my hair out from stress everytime a new word comes up but pocky's ciphers are hilarious and its a nice distraction

also mr. chopped captured my heart so guess i do have a type

ゲーム実況10周年、ポッキーさんの魅力。

私はまだ4年目のリスナーだけど、ほんとこの人の配信は飽きない。変に奇をてらったり強い言葉を使わずに、ゲームそのものを魅力的に魅せる、最高のゲーム実況者だと思う。

ポッキーさんの配信は、どんなゲームでもまるでポッキーさん自身がゲーム世界に入っているみたいに心の底からゲームを楽しんで、そしてゲームを「作品」としてリスペクトしているのが伝わる。それと同時に10年というキャリアのなかで築いてきた実況者としての哲学もしっかりあって、そういう部分もすごく信頼&尊敬してる。

わたし、初めて見たゲーム実況がポッキーさんの動画じゃなかったら、ゲームを娯楽以上に捉えるなんてできなかったんじゃないかなぁ、、、。そしてそして、現在のVtuber文化への興味にもつながらなかったと思う。

ホラーゲームの楽しみ方も、バカゲーの存在意義も、ストーリーゲーのレベルの高さも、全部、全部、ポッキーさんが教えてくれたんだよね。

それと同時に、ゲーム配信であやふやになりがちな「倫理観」をしっかり持ち合わせているし、ゲームを愛しながらも適度な距離感で楽しむ姿勢もあって(キレたり興奮したりしながら耐久とかはしない)、すごく好感がもてた。というか、選ぶゲームや話す内容でそこらへんが伝わるのも、ポッキーさんの真面目な人柄が出てると思う。

間違いなく、ここ数年でわたしの人生の価値観を１つ広げてくれたポッキーさん。

本当にありがとう。そして10周年おめでとうございます。

これからも実家のような安心感で配信見させていただきます😌💖

1.       Are you named after anyone? I was actually supposed to be named after my mother’s favorite celebrity singer dude, Andy Lau, but before I was born, like two people stole the name who the family knew, like one on my father’s side and one on my mother’s side so she was like Aaron’s fine too (so no).

2.       When was the last time you cried? Today because I was rereading Gash Bell and I got hit with the feels™.

3.       Do you have kids? I have a son and his name is Gash Bell and he is the best son ever he’s done so much he’s the best I love him he’s my son the best son ever my son and his name is Gash Bell, the golden boy, the light of my life, the best ever to exist ever in the world ever the most wonderful child in the world ever that there ever was the absolute best the greatest an all-star the most wondrous awe inspiring

4.       If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Probably? Because I try my hardest to become friends with people with similar interests and I have a lot of similar interests with myself.

7.       What is your eye color? Brown, but like a very dark shade of brown

11.   Do you have any special talents? I’m pretty decent at making edits and stuff. Also, I’m pretty good at petting dogs.

13.   What are your hobbies? Reading manga, watching anime, playing games, petting animals, singing in my loudest voice to songs as badly as possible, collecting stuff (low-key hoarding), also stuffed animals.

14.   Do you have any pets? I have two dogs! Mikey and Leo!

16.   What do you want to be when you grow up? I wanna work as a programmer but low-key I just wanna be a farmer or maybe like a mangaka.

19.   Funniest moment throughout School? 22.   What is your Favorite drink? Animal? Perfume? Favorite drink is probably jasmine tea. Favorite animal is bunny. Favorite perfume Bamboo by Franc Olivier bc I bought it for my mom last year and I like how it smells and ts and it came with lotion and I could use the lotion,

23.   What would you (or have you) name your children? Idk probably like Gash or something( if I get twins they gonna be Gash and Zeon I hope they don’t have  a super intense prolonged fight ntil they become family again

27.   Favorite memory from childhood? Discovering Gash Bell!

28.   How would you describe your fashion sense? Lazy, but comfortable, and also like sometimes a 5 year old.

30.   Tell us one of your bad habits! Whenever I decide to do anything, I immediately start doing like 3 other things, i.e I started rereading the Gash Bell even though I’m trying to finish rewatching Nichijou and actually finish Gintama and finish the AssClass anime and FMA and also beat the endgame of Fire Emblem Echoes SOV, also get all the husbands and wives in Fates and Awakening and I need to properly throw away my stuff from High School, and also finish reading superwoman’s book.
