I made some of the little guys from this post into PNG Tubers! It's specifically my character Boxes and my partner's character Ramata.

They do the cutest bounce when they talk! I even gave Boxes a lil knife bc she's a thief and Ram a book bc she's a scholar.

Willing to do commissions like these little guys for £65.

How did you make your little Puppet?

I can show you a little break down of what my puppet's layers look like.

these are all the different layers, with the tail frame animations added as a sprite. (thats how it wags.) The blinking and mouth flaps also have their own frames rather than it being a squash and stretch. If I ever make a more complicated rig it'll probably all be hand animated rather than using tweening. I don't really like tweening, as someone who mostly did inbetweens when I *did* work in animation a lifetime ago. There's an art to it that I think goes unappreciated. Anyway.

The creator of PNGtuber+, Kaiakairos, has a really good comprehensive tutorial linked on the website. I have a magenta alpha channel that I mask out in my streaming software, and I keep PNGtuber+ open on a seperate monitor (read: my television) so that the fidelity is as high quality as possible and there isn't any lag or frame loss, and it looks good when scaled down. Crim is a little difficult with alpha channels because he has all the primary colours used in alpha channels in his colour palette but it should be easier for you if you aren't dumb like me.

Also, personally don't really like the term puppet. I think that's a LO original term. I think most people just call them talksprites, pngtubers, or avatars. I tend to distinguish between these two as a pngtuber and talksprite respectively, but they're both my avatar. If that makes sense. The pngtuber is a live, reactive animated rig that sits there on streams. Talksprite is something I draw each expression by hand and select which goes where moment by moment, and goes in edited videos. Crimp is the avatar, a character that represents me, the Youtuber known as Crimsonender, giving people a "face" to my voice to visually represent me.

À peine l'illustration postée je me suis dit "Et si j'essayais de l'animer ?"

Donc j'ai découpé, redessiné et animé/"riggué" sur pngtuber+ (le seul logiciel que j'ai et connais) et juste coupé sur DaVinci.

Et voilà !!!

Par contre j'ai oublié de remettre un fond correct dans le processus, mais c'était marrant à faire.
