Red Robin redesign based on the idea of an inverness cape... this version of RR has returned to his detective roots, puzzling over Gotham's toughest mysteries and donning the cape and cowl when it's time for some good old-fashioned legwork.

I know in my heart tim is a Cape Guy -- the Question may rock a detective’s coat and fedora but that's not the right look for tim (not to mention batman!damian already has a claim on the coat-as-cape look). But tim is also a confirmed sherlock holmes nerd, so the two-layer inverness-inspired cape seemed a good way to subtly infuse some detective vibes into his costume.

im reading rhato 2011 (kind of) only because my brain is an on fire garbage can and says I Need To bc i read rhato 2016 and like im so hyperfixated on fuckng jason todd it's stupid but i didn't realise that when people said rhato 2011 was bad they meant it was bad bad. like that's why i read 2016 first bc i had heard it was bad but i figured i should read 2011 in case like. more stuff would make sense but. its Meh. and maybe im just judging it by the first couple issues but its enough to turn me off of it. like im probably gonna drop it for awhile and power thru at a later date maybe.

we already know that ronance is a word play for romance, and it's so, so nice

but there's this interesting detail that makes it even better

compared to nancy's other main ships in the fandom, ronance uses nancy's first part of the name and nickname first, aka "nance"

why is this an interesting detail? because the formation of the names puts both robin and nancy first

just like how they interact and fit well with each other once they got to know one another, even their names play off each other well and doesn't leave the other behind

the fact that nancy has had to fight to be believed by the people around her, to not be "second choice" in a sense though maybe there's a better word for that one

and we see robin believe nancy and stand on nancy's level in terms of thinking and ideas, even surpassing them

plus! robin uses the nickname nance, and something something getting to know each other better and familiarity with each other, yknow?

does that make sense? i hope it does AHHAHAH and is it a bit out there? maybe, and im sure it's not really intended with the ship names and ofc no shade to any of them bUT it's still an interesting detail for ronance, imo

Okay, this is gonna sound like my wildest opinion yet so bear with me. I think Batman should, to an extent, use guns.

Specifically I think he should use them as a tool to disable other tools and other weapons. Not people. Cause right, like he taught the Robins how to fire and disable firearms since it's an important skill to learn when you're dealing with armed individuals. And I feel like some of that should go into practice (yknow, that isn't Jason's expert gun knowledge/murder).

For an example of what I mean, imagine Batman fighting a bunch of guys and he like takes the gun from one of them and shoots out the tires from a car trying to speed off. And then he immediately disarms the gun and tosses it. Do you see what I mean?

Now disclaimer, I don't actually think this is necessary at all. In fact, I think the more away Bruce is kept from guns, the more it keeps dumbass Snyder-bros from thinking gun-weilding-psycho batman is a good concept. Plus, I think there is a lot of potential for Bruce refusing to touch a gun even when it becomes a necessary tool. There's a lot of cool stuff to be had with that. On top of that, I feel like most scenarios are ones he can solve with the tools already on his person. Basically in short, this is just my headcanon.

Hi hi yes!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to talk about them!! Also spoilers for 2.2 Penacony quest and Genshin's Wanderer quest

To start i want to say that while im comparing them their stories definitely aren’t one to one, i just love thinking about Wanderer’s story in every occasion since i’ve obsessed over him for too long(and sunday is quickly joining him in my obsessions) But basically the main thing is how they both tried sacrificing themselves to godhood for completely different reasons and both failed, falling (Sunday was caught, Scaramouche was not)

Yes, both were sacrifices Sundays is a obvious one as Robin was supposed to be the sacrifice but Sunday did it instead of her, not letting his sister get hurt on beliefs she doesn’t even believe in(The Dreammaster always knew he would be the one to be sacrificed anyways) His sacrifice was selfless, he would go through eternal loneliness if it means everybody else could be happy

Meanwhile Scaramouche was sacrificing himself for selfish reasons He wants to achieve godhood because he isn’t human, and while it isn’t explicitly said(i think?) i very much believe he was trying to one up Raiden Ei in becoming a god(If you play as Ei and die in his boss fight he mocks her) But it’s still a sacrifice of his body, as they explained in the quest that if the sages completed their quest in getting the wisdom capsules into Scaramouche’s god form he would no longer be able to move for himself, he would fully become a puppet god for the grand sage

I just couldn’t stop thinking about how both of them tried ascending to godhood for completely different reasons yet both failed and yknow, both almost did it if it wasn’t for a factor they didn’t account for (Nahida’s Samsara abilities and Acheron and Black Swan waking trailblazer up plus Robin waking herself up)

Also!!! comparing Gopher Wood to Dottore Dottore obvs was not a father to Scara AT ALL but he was indeed extremely manipulative (Before Sumeru came out i questioned if Scaramouche ever saw Dottore as a father figure or not, and with Wanderer we know now that he hates him and even when he was Scaramouche he never liked him but working with him was a necessity) But also did Sunday even ever see Gopher Wood as a father figure? we know he took Sunday and Robin in, but the two never calls Gopher “father” or anything from what i remember Also the fact Sunday’s second suspect for Robin’s murderer to be Gopher Wood??? how fucked up is that???

The main thing i think a lot about is the selfish vs selfless sacrificed they did, also the fact that people think Sunday will get a redesign before he releases and he's gonna be released a lot later then when he first showed up plus going from a villain to companion is all things Wanderer went through After realizing all that I jokingly thought why not just let him change his name too, and while it started as a crack theory i kinda just kept thinking about it I saw someone say that Sunday isn't his actual name? I haven't seen any in game evidence though, but maybe Sunday is the name he chose for the family, or maybe he didn't even choose it maybe Gopher Wood did, and after everything that happened in the final he doesn't want to continue going by that name, nor does he want to go back to his old name, so he chooses to use a new one and I can't stop thinking of how Robin probably doesn't like the name Sunday, the family being the one giving it to him, so instead she just called him brother because she knows he doesn't go by his old name anymore either and after Sunday's fall, she talks to him about it. Asking if he's still okay with the name, and when he doesn't respond she hugs him and reassures him he'll always be her brother no matter what

The last bit just ended up me talking about a crack theory/ headcanon lol sorry this just ended up me rambling! Hopefully i covered everythign i wanted? I've been thinking about this for the past few days without writing anything down and I also have awful memory, and with that I'm sorry if I forgot something or remembered a scene wrong!!

Elvis Cloned By Aliens: Was Anyone Gonna Tell Me That Elvis Had A Twin? ft. Kissing Cousins and TFS (And Henward Are So Absolutely Real)

So, Elvis had a twin brother- a stillborn twin brother.

Which is particularly interesting to me because of all of the twin imagery with Henward and all of the stillborn references in ST- specifically, Hopper’s dialogue about stillborns when he’s in prison:

Smthn smthn Henward’s line RE: Brenner about “he TRIED” to recreate me, smthn smthn “tried,” implies that there were failures… stillborns, maybe. Failed clones. Failed twins.

And also, that Hopper dialogue is EXTRA interesting to me because that whole Hopper scene is a total parallel to Victor’s prison scene:

Hell, in ST, when Nancy and Robin are reading the newspapers about the Creel murders, there’s a whole article that pops up in the Weekly Watcher about Elvis being cloned by aliens, and “Jailhouse Rock,” plays in TFS- point is, mentions of Elvis in ST are tied to the Creels, and so are references to stillborns, which makes the fact that Elvis had a stillborn twin brother particularly interesting re: Henward (Henward were you supposed to be twin brothers in each timeline but one of you was a stillborn in diff timelines/Edward being the stillborn in Henry’s timeline and vice versa??)

But now, setting aside Elvis’ actual twin, let’s take a look at an example of fake double Elvises, from one of Elvis’ movies:

Which, this picture has me staring DIRECTLY at how young Henry, (and later, adult Henry), are both definitely BLONDE in the show:

Versus the TFS flashback scenes to 7 year old Henry with BLACK hair:

It’s JUST like that Elvis screenshot- they’re identical, except for the hair colours.

And you might be thinking “oh, well Em, that’s a stretch, just because ST mentions ‘Elvis cloned by aliens,’and TFS has Jailhouse Rock playing during it doesn’t mean that this specific Elvis movie is being intentionally referenced re: Henward & the different hair colours are probably for another reason or something.”

To which I say: the name of that Elvis movie with the blonde vs black haired Elvis is “Kissing Cousins”- yknow, like Walter Henderson in TFS, who has a whole scene about how he was kissing his cousin:

That’s a TOTAL nod to the Elvis “Kissing Cousins” movie. Is it not just a LITTLE suspicious that they have a whole scene in TFS about “kissing cousins,” PLUS having a black haired young Henry vs a blonde young Henry, who are otherwise basically identical, JUST like the two Elvises from Kissing Cousins???

The footage I have isnt great, so 7 year old TFS Henry’s face gets a little warped because of the angle of the screen + also if 7 year old Henry’s hair looks slightly lighter in that pic, it’s just because there were these sudden bright spots when they did a flash of light as an old film effect, so rest assured, his hair is BLACK/VERY dark brown/ in-show Henry’s blonde hair in dark lighting still doesnt get nearly as dark as 7 year old Henry’s hair in very bright light.

Also, they look slightly different because in-show Henry is 12 vs 7 year old TFS henry, but they’re still damn near identical face-wise/would be identical except for the hair colours if they were shown at the the same age.

Hell, massacre Henward’s weird Brenner-esque hair is even styled like the blonde Elvis from Kissing Cousins:

And it gets even better. In “Kissing Cousins,” Elvis’ blonde, identical cousin is described as a “hillbilly”- the EXACT same thing that Brenner calls Henry during TFS:

There is SOMETHING HERE. HENWARD IS SO REAL, EDWARD IS SO REAL!!!

And there’s also something about the two Elvises in the movie being third cousins/the whole “kissing cousins” thing vs the dead Great Uncle that Virginia mentions in the show & the whole “Uncle Sam” vs Sam Owens thing in ST & how TFS Victor looks and acts suspiciously like Owens.. I’m not sure how it all connects, but there’s SOMETHING here!!

I just started school again this week from fall break and omg 😭 HORRIBLE I TELL U HORRIBLE. but, it got me thinking, what do u think the tbp boys opinions r on school?

I’m just gonna talk about how their opinions on school are after the basement and how their opinions changed (my tumblr is basically a page for my AU now isnt it 😞)

Finney pretty much dislikes school before and after; he likes keeping his grades good but he just hates going because of bullies and the stares he gets after the basement. It makes him feel worse. He likes science the most. He gets annoyed when people call him names but most of the time he doesn’t mind because he just wants to get through school. He goes to the counselor only sometimes.

Robin hates school, and he probably always will. I like to think he has good or at least nice grades in all of his classes except math, and he’s barely passing science. He has dyscalculia, so he feels stupid when it comes to numbers but is afraid to ask for help from anyone besides Finney. He’s in the counselor’s office a lot talking about his thoughts, emotions and personal issues. Robin deals with bullying a bit but of course he isn’t sitting by and taking it. Sometimes stuff is written on his locker also.

Bruce used to love school but now he’s like, indifferent leaning towards disliking it. He still has amazing grades and is probably on high honor roll, but he feels out of place now. He feels like he’s popular but not the way he wants to be. He thinks he missed a lot since he wasn’t there for the beginning of the year, plus he just feels out of place in his usual friend group now. Sometimes he just gets irritated and stays alone. He spaces out in school a lot, which leads to a lot of counselor appointments that he himself didn’t schedule.

Vance hates school more than anything. He barely has friends besides yknow, the others that were in the basement but now he just feels completely outcasted. He was given a chance to move up a grade so he took it, so he’s a freshman when he goes back to school. He had a lot of testing to do though, which luckily he passed. Vance is pretty much on a hair’s trigger now. If someone says ANYTHING about his experiences or the other’s experiences, there’s a high chance he’s gonna come out of that with a suspension or a detention. He manages to keep okay grades though.

Billy liked school kind of. He’s kinda introverted but when he was younger he would hang out with Robin and Finney at school, so it kind of got different when he went missing. He had nice grades and he was kind of social.

Griffin disliked school. He was never talked to and he sat alone every class, every year. If he was in a group assignment, he usually asked the teacher if he could work by himself. But he’s a good kid and had good grades.

Griffin and Billy come as a package deal with a lot of things but especially school after the basement events. They’re pretty much glued together. They both dislike school a lot because of bullies. They have a lot of classes together because of their separation anxiety, which the school knows about. Billy is really sad when he graduates 8th grade and is alone without Griffin for a year. They’re in the counselor’s office a lot or have a teaching assistant take them out of their classes for a bit. It’s not because they want to talk to them and their problems, but to just let them calm down and work in an environment where they aren’t pressured and can just work with each other.

(just yknow. not always sticking the landing) (lol). like the summary says, it’s lighter on the romance, but this is Very Much A Story With Women Who Love Women—definitely a comic to check out if you’re in the mood for action, drama, and comedy. hi! ive been seeing ur posts around a bit and just wanted to ask you a question which honestly isnt related to the show plot because even though i do ship byler i believe mileven is gonna be cannon because a suger mega mainstream show isnt likely to throw away their main ship for an unexpected gay ship which imo would make sense with all the queercoding and would just be sumn new but yknow its unlikely. so my wish for s5 is some serious and good growth for mileven as a couple but back to my question as i mentioned earlier there is quite a bit of queercoding and ig what u could call 'proof' and while i agree some of the byler proof thrown around are stretches and reaches most of it seems pretty plausible which does mean there is a chance that the people working on that show purposely put in those aspects and parallels but for what? (possible queerbait which ick!) and another thing with will and his love arc it seems kinda unfair ik its the 80s and in reality it wouldve matched wills situation but in the end it is a super popular fiction show in 2020s and it does have the liberty to provide some sort of solace to will like everyone else in the show gets some kind of romance but the tortured gay guy should be happy with the acceptance? kinda ouch and on topic of queer characters i personally think robin has one of the most beautiful coming out scenes in tv history but with vickie they did bad to her character like they have barely 5 mins of screen time tgther and theyre basically the same person w the brain and mouth parallel so impo the writers and show producers have sort of messed up with the queer characters(s5 could redeem everything but i have a feeling it rlly wont) plus i mean making will love mike was such a choice like he couldve like anyone else the show has time and time again had clear chances to just either not make will have a thing for mike or get him to confess and or move on and introduce a new guy for him and have a chance of a happy ending but they had to employ the overused gay guy loves his straight best friend trope and drag onto the last season where theres already the battle to the death going on so even if they do get a new guy there will be no satisfying development to their bond. and then practically use his feelings to encourage mike which is just cruel and is kinda harmful for many queer people like i remember just sobbing in my grandmas living room because how horrible that scene made me feel so i just want ur opnions on this as u seem like some1 passionate about the show and an ally. (sorry if its kinda long this my first time ever interacting w anyone on tumblr im rlly unsure how to go about these things)

Yeah, definitely, I think I understand what you mean. Queerbaiting sucks, but I don't personally think that's what this show is doing. I think a lot of the hints people are claiming as Byler evidence is just based on their interpretation, and not what the creators intended it to be seen as. We honestly can't know what they intended without them confirming it, so it's hard to know one way or the other. I don't believe a lot of the evidence for Byler personally, and it just doesn't make sense narratively for the show like you mentioned. I don't know, it's complicated. If anyone else wants to share their thoughts on this, feel free to leave them in the comments. :)

hopper doesn't know what to think of ford, especially with the fact that stan had so easily slipped in and pretended to be the man for years

I’ve been writing other stuff on other blogs but I wanted you to dump this here cause writer is struggling with food :3 and I see a lot of ways that the batboys could have the same mindsets. So this is a lot of me projecting but also just drabbling. Pretty angsty I guess in some parts, enjoy. Let me reiterate that THESE ARE NOT HEALTHY VIEWS OF FOOD. Many of the thoughts portrayed are HOW THEY THINK of food, not ways you SHOULD or COULD think of food. It’s cathartic to see them through the light of my own issues, I wanted to share. Love you all.

Bruce Wayne

Probably one of the healthiest views of food

He grew up without ever having food insecurity AT ALL bc he’s so so rich

But he has been starving before when he worked with the League of Shadows, which means he knows the feeling.

All it is is unpleasant to him, though

He’s trained to be able to deal with it, so I think Alfred definitely has to make sure he’s eating

But he’s not doing it on purpose.

He understands EDs, and he takes them super seriously, but he’s never struggled with that, really.

He might go through phases of body dysmorphia because of wanting to be as physically adept as he can be, but I don’t think that would have to do with restricting food very much.

Again, Alfred lets him know when he’s doing too much

I think he likes good food, but he’s been so spoiled in that sense that it’s not really a big priority to him

Dick Grayson

Ok so Dick was raised in the circus, being a child athlete (acrobat)

Obviously his parents were super wholesome, they weren’t much of a root of any problem

But having comments on your physical performance, being stuck in a tight ass leotard, thinking so much about your body at a young age, all of these lead to some type of problems.

Writer is 100% not projecting their ballet childhood

Poor little Dick watched the Strongman talk about his food intake and protein and calories and he thought “wow, I should do that to be strong too”

Cue guilt around food

Dick sees food, at least for the first part of his life, as an obstacle

The less he can get of it, the more strong he can be

He kind of sees it as something to be counted, measured (Dick is wrong, reader, eat your burger and enjoy it >:()

He doesn’t actually starve himself to a point that he starts to get skinny, but he restricts himself to have peak performance

It’s just that his mindset about it is so bad

One time Alfred cooks dinner and Dick is having a bad day (Robin or young Nightwing days). He steps in and just-

“… I had a burger for lunch” said Dick, looking frozen in place.

Bruce just chuckles, not noticing his discomfort. “Hey, that’s fine. You can jog it off tomorrow. Plus, you could do to put some weight on, yknow?”

“No, I… I can’t. I’m at my limit. I wasn’t gonna eat dinner,” Dick tries to explain, picking at his thumb nervously.

“… What do you mean your limit?”

“I uh… diet” Dick says, though his heart is quickening.

…

“Are you counting calories, Dick?”

Long conversation ensues

That might be super ooc, you get the idea

Bruce does not STAND for it

Dick recovers while Jason’s a kid.

He might have a relapse when Jason dies, just out of grief

But he gets over it

He can’t ever get rid of that voice that tells him that what he’s consuming is numbers

But he’s started fostering one that tells him how delicious that goddamn hotdog is, which is pretty cool

Jason Todd

Poor baby :((((

He grew up poor, so food insecurity was probably definitely present

Plus his mom wasn’t super into taking care of his needs

So he grew to subconsciously see food as fuel, but in a less healthy way.

He learned to measure how much he was able to run on, what gave him the most energy rather than what was good for him or tasty

All of this was for survival until he showed up at the manor

At first he was ecstatic about having more food security

And he was never one to turn down food

But out of habit he kind of never got food for himself on purpose unless he REALLY needed it

The type of kid to say “but I don’t need lunch, I had breakfast.”

Which is valid in some cases depending on whatever, but the subconscious thing that was nagging him was the small fear that still lived in him of someday not being able to live in that same security he’s grown to know

Bruce has to make sure he eats, because he’ll always eat what he’s offered without a second thought. He just won’t feed himself

Jason is 100% convinced he’s fine, he just doesn’t need it.

He does, in fact, need three meals a day with his highly active twelve year old boy self smh

When he comes back as Red Hood, he still kind of carries that with him, but he’s more willing to eat now.

I think dying kind of made him realize that he doesn’t want to miss out on anything or hold himself back

Plus he has a lot more muscle to feed now

If it makes sense, he just kind of doesn’t think of food much at all now

Tim, Tim, Tim, neglected Tim :(

He views food very much as something earned

He enjoys his junk food or whatever, but he feels like if he’s not doing good enough he doesn’t deserve to eat at all

Nervous wreck he is, this happens often

Doesn’t do well on a mission? No dinner.

Not doing well in a class? Not eating till he fixes that grade.

Bruce finds out and almost passes out cause WHY ARE ALL THESE KIDS HAVING THESE ISSUES

It’s because writer is projecting, sorry Bruce

Bruce helps him through it a lot

Cheat code: if you go through a significant amount of effort to make him food he can’t turn it down

Or if you buy it for him

It’s an anxiety and bargaining thing for him, but he’s a tough boy he gets thru it 💪💪💪

Damian Wayne

Hot take but the league actually has pretty healthy standards on eating

They need to be efficient, yeah, but they recognize that to do that they need FOOD

He might be a little skittish around like processed food or new foods though

Has a thing for texture

Overall one of the healthier views on it though, and everyone else is watching him like a hawk to make sure it fucking stays that way

totally not trying to stop the fun or make it a thing, I just know I like it when people let me know, that pic from Grayson #12 is actually Dick and Tim, not Dick and Jason! It's a recreation of their first meeting in Batman 441. That's why the kid looks so small, Tim was somewhere under 7 at the time (probs more like 2-4). It is super confusing that they referenced that scene in the N52 when it was out of continuity? Yes, totally, but the issue does a lot of pre-reboot references haha

hypothetically, if that was supposed to depict tim's first meeting with dick, dick would have to be in the circus!robin costume. nightwing costume is out of place.

not to mention, dick looks like a proper adult there, rather than 13 or younger. (13 is the oldest that dick could've reasonably been when he met tim, depending on which timeline you follow). lonely place of dying didn't draw dick super consistent to his age, but i don't think they did the same in grayson.

you're correct about the age range tim would've been in when he met dick though! they definitely implied that tim was around 3 years old.

looking at that grayson page as a whole, dick is reminiscing about both tim and jason as his brothers. he'd be showing heavy favoritism towards tim if there weren't any depictions of young jason present, yknow?

okay so since i've gotten a few asks, here it is the other way

Alternatively- Bruce as a vampire

(Firstly though I feel I wasn’t really clear- these vampires don’t really require blood to live, like they eat all their meat bloody and they need a little in their diet from time to time (its their way of getting iron or whatever) but blood for them (especially Bruce’s) is like candy or alcohol to regular people)

Little Dick who learns his dad is a vampire and stubbornly forces him to accept him as Robin so he can feed while on patrol. Alfred donates blood for his son of course, but Dick is afraid of needles, so he just hands Bruce his arm instead because being bitten by his dad is less scary than a needle. Old Dick will drop by unannounced and drop into Bruce’s lap, tilting his head to give Bruce ample neck biting space. In fact, before the league knew they were father/son a few thought they were dating because Barry once walked in on Nightwing propped on Batman’s lap, Batman sucking hickeys into Nightwings neck. (If he had stayed a little longer he might have noticed when Bruce lifted his head blood was dripping off his teeth and Nightwing yawned, not very romantic)

Babs donates blood. Bruce has only ever bitten her once because they were on a mission together and he hadn’t gotten blood in three days. She wants to provide him with blood, but she isn't like the others, she has a father, and while she loves Bruce, she doesn't feel comfortable being bitten by him like that, its very primal, very dominating, requires her full submission and she has a father.

When Little Jason came around Bruce was very stubborn and refused to drink his blood because he thought it was wrong and he didn’t want to do it with Dick either, it’s wrong and his poor kid (because bruce and self hatred yknow), but Little Jason, educated on vampires through his fantasy books, would uncover his shoulder/neck area because he thought that would entice Bruce enough to cave and drink. Bruce of course was not truly enticed because the books were not all that factual, plus his self control is insane so even if. But it did still work because it was endearing, Jason was stubborn, and Alfred gave Bruce a look. With Big Jason Bruce will just sink his teeth into Jason’s neck, especially if he’s being difficult because vampire Bruce is very possessive and it’s just a primal instinct to loosen and let his dad feed. Jason kinda hates it because they can be in the middle of a fight and Bruce will pull him into a hug and Jason will fight it but then Bruce just digs his teeth into Jason’s neck and he immediately goes limp in his fathers arms. When Jason was Robin it was very common to see Batman carrying him in his mouth like a mama cat or something. 

Little Tim donated blood like Alfred, sticking a needle in his arm and pumping it into a blood bag, but would sometimes curl up on Bruce’s lap and offer him his neck. Big Tim still does weekly blood donations but he does always tilt his head if Bruce walks in the room. 

Steph hates it, but Bruce makes her feel safe so big or little she always bares her neck on impulse when he is near. She donates sometimes and pretends it’s Tim’s blood but Bruce tastes the difference and appreciates it. Bruce doesn’t drink from her unless she very clearly offers it, but he does bite her sometimes to pick her up or move her

Little Cass saw it as bonding, as something family members do, and Bruce wanted that trust, wanted that connection with her, so he obliged her, after making sure she felt safe with him. Big Cass still finds it to be a familial thing and will curl up on his lap and sweep her hair away from her neck

Damian thought of it as an honor, something every robin provided their Batman, and Bruce made sure to sit down with him and have a lengthy talk about how he doesn't need to provide blood if he doesn't want to, bruce can survive without. But Damian starts to see it the way Cass does, and he still provides blood. 

All of them make sure to have at least one blood bag in the pantry for him at all times, especially if they’re gone for long periods of time. Of course, being siblings they argue over who has the best blood and it is actually one of the leading reasons why their diets improve and their health is so good because they want Bruce to think they have the best blood. Bruce isn't picky, he loves all of his children's blood equally, but if he’s feeling upset hes more likely to drink Dick or Stephs, if he’s having an argument with one of the kids he can most likely be found drinking their blood, if he’s working a case for too many hours he drinks Tims, and the most common blood packs found in his Batman suit is Jason and Damians and if he needs to cool down(angry/possessive, needs to chill out) a little he drinks Cass’s.

Okay but hear me out- the batkids as actual Vampires. Not bruce, just the kids, and bruce providing for them. Because he just has the tastiest blood.

Little Dick toddling over to Bruce, tears in his eyes because he ate his bloody dinner too fast and hes still hungry and Bruce just sighing and sticking out his hand and Dick lights up and they watch a movie while dick is happily gnawing on Bruce’s thumb and sucking his blood. Big Dick complains very loudly about how hungry he is and Bruce will glower at him before finally giving in and throwing an arm around his eldests shoulders and Dick pecks his cheek with a sweet “thank you dad.” before sinking his teeth into Bruce’s arm. 

Little Jason would very politely come over and tug on his hand and Bruce would pick him up and let him bite his hand and drink, but Big Jason just pounces on Bruce from behind and sinks his teeth into Bruces shoulder/neck for blood. 

Little Tim slipping five dollar bills into Bruce’s hand just before chomping his thigh and Big Tim very casually stabbing a needle into Bruce’s leg, extracting blood and then putting it into his coffee and walking away. Sometimes, if he’s feeling nostalgic, he will curl up with his head on bruce’s lap and actually bite him for blood, for pure blood, but he likes his coffee bruce blood blend better

Little Cass never once asked bruce for blood because she was scared, but Bruce would just scoop her into his arms and offer her his already cut open shoulder until she was comfortable enough scaling him like a tree and drinking from his shoulder. Big Cass still doesn't ask for blood, she just lands on his shoulders and bites his bicep. 

Little Steph was a little vampire gremlin and any time she saw Bruce without clothes (since his children feed off of him Bruce wears very little, just a tank top and shorts and makes sure to shave as much as possible to provide ample biting space, but as Batman he still wears his full suit just easy to slip off certain parts so his kids can feed easily) she would suction onto him like a little affectionate leech and dig her little teeth into his back. Big Steph also likes his back and has much the same habits as little steph did. 

Little Babs wasn't too keen on blood, but sometimes Bruce would offer her his forearm while she was working and she would work and eat. Big Babs has no qualms about taking his blood, but has few chances, so he stops by her Oracle hideout sometimes and just holds out his arm for her to drink

Little Damian thought drinking blood from a human was beneath him. Until he saw Cass doing it and wanted to follow her footsteps, but he cant climb bruce as well as her, so he just sank his teeth into Bruce’s calf. Big Damian will wait until Bruce sits or lays down and props his feet up and will then enjoy his calf blood. 

Bruce Wayne who is covered, littered in bite scars of varying sizes, who was once knocked over by his three eldest sons because they had been on a mission away from him for a week and were hungry and before they even said hello just sank their teeth into his neck, hand and thigh. Bruce Wayne who’s majority of scars come from his children, not villains and who willingly offers up his neck to any one of his children if they seem hungry. 

Bruce Wayne who, as Batman, will peel his protective bat suit arm off because Dick was hungry on a stake out. 

Bruce Wayne who is not a vampire but his children all are and he’ll be damned if he deprives them their nutrients.
