Had a great time playing Sims today (spent 3 and a half hours searching for and downloading custom content and never once turned on the game)

#sims #the sims 2 #the sims #ts2 #this is just how it is now #not writing #sims 4 #I guess I’ll tag but sims 2 is the only sims that matters my man 😭#you will not catch me tagging 3 #sims 2 my beloved #I’ve been playing it for like 13 years now downloading cc is the only thing that still gives me meaning #I just wanted a round slightly worn wooden table that’s it 😭#I only found one (1) vaguely close item after 3 hours! and it was refusing to even download at first 😭#I had a list of 6 items to look for that at the top... I downloaded about 50 things... only got 2 of those items #like walking into the grocery store to buy one thing and then leaving with a whole shopping cart full #mostly got hair didn’t need any of it again just needed that table and some recolours of items plus a lamp and some plants but nooo #still didn’t really find a table recolour I liked just closest thing I just want worn wood recolours of things! 😭#I’m building a bar/kind of dingy pub but I don’t want it to look like abandoned for 100yrs after a massacre just want some wear and tear #yes it’s 2am ignore me #yeah I’m gamer™️

Holy fuck y'all i should NOT be awake 😭

#p #i need to be up in six hours 😭😭#i had an awful exhausting evening #my hamster that i had before moving passed away #the car i bought not even two years ago is totaled and unfixable #i lost one of the gigs i thought i had secured for the school year #it is pms hell week for me and i keep swinging wildly between utter fully body rage and complete overwhelming despair and anxiety #i want to cry but ive done enough crying tonight thank you!!!!#please let tomorrow be kinder i desperately need it #please let the jobs ive emailed tonight email me back #and let the pay be good #i also have sooooo much to do before next tuesday oh my god #i need to prep for our session on saturday #finish lesson planning for the summer camp #finish character creation #grocery shop #quick clean of the house bcuz lord knows i wont be doing it while at the camp #i still havent received a v important piece of mail #figure out how to pay my taxes and insurance #prep for the meeting i have monday morning re new school year including some brain storming #reviewing the pacing calendar and handbook and looking at the google drive again #and im being social this entire weekend agh #plus look for jobs i guess??? bcuz money is needed #and theres family drama 🙃#ugh i should probably not be posting this on main #perhaps i will delete later ugh #life is just hard atm it will get better it always does #and i will not lose my rental nor will i be unable to pay my taxes and bills #it will be FINE #because i will make it fine

I don’t take notes I don’t write in my diary anymore because tbh I lost it and it was just. not a vibe maybe I’ll buy a new #one and try and start keeping entires again #I have no use for a planner because let’s be so for real I do not have a life #all I do is go grocery shopping and sometiems thrifting with lex and kait on a whim #I’ll be starting work soon but I set the hours for that job so it doesn’t really require a planner #I want so much to be a cute notes girlie (gender neutral) because I love cute neat things but like #the unmedicated adhd and lack of anything going on in my life prevents this #maybe I’ll buy a planner anyways and pretend #maybe buying a planner is the first step towards making plans #plus like I do have plans this year that me and kait and lex are gonnna start saving money since we all have jobs now so we can hopefully #move by at least the start of 2025 #so ya know what. i know my avoidance for leaving the house is getting bad when not even the siren song of a free meal and pretending my blorbo is going along with me can get me to go out

lmao i wish i didn't have 2 spend all my days off work recovering from working LOL it's def better w my current job than it ever was w dog training bc my current job is wayyyyy more lowkey but i still just feel kind of exhausted :(

#i think a big difference tho is that w this job it's more of a social/emotional exhaustion #and w dog training it was that PLUS physical pain and exhaustion #so it's def better #like today i'm still managing to do some meal prepping and i got grocery shopping done (thank god 4 grocery delivery it is lifesaving)#but idk i have to budget my energy so different than i did even as like a teen #don't get concussions ya'll it'll fuck ur life !#i also picked up extra shifts last week #so i didn't have as much time off as i normally would #and i didn't get a lunch break yesterday so i was truly running on empty for an 8 hr shift lollll #personal
