figured i’d post a nice tank update pic while i’m here before i get back to cleaning !!

still got some stubborn GHA a handful of my paly and zoa frags that i’m not especially cheesed about, but the worst offender (the captain jerk palys down in the front bottom left) is likely going to be fragged off onto a fresh plug and disposed of once i find the time, it’s an old as hell and super overgrown frag anyway and the polyps have grown around and through the algae strands in a way that makes getting rid of it all just impossible, sadly. that caulerpa could use a trim too now that i’m looking at it.

no real major changes though, aside from a few new additions — a nice lookin duncan and pipe organ both in the bottom front left, a holy grail hammer in the bottom front right, electric daisy stylo top middle and a nice pink klepto lepto in the far back left :) they also sent me a free favia i’ve yet to ID but it’s not really pictured well here anyway. the stylo is probably going to be moved soonish, i’ve heard they tend to show better polyp extension in lower light so i’ll have to do a little bit of rearranging and find a home for it further down, maybe if i get rid of those cap jerks i can move the pipe organ to where they were and put the stylo where the pipe organ’s at, see how everyone likes that change… for the most part im feeling really good about what i’ve got for corals and will likely not be looking to obtain anything else unless i lose any frags and choose to replace them or something. still in the market for a shrimp and goby pair and planning to get rid of most of my hermits and grass shrimp to get some sexy shrimp and snails instead, but that’s all on the backburner rn while i handle some more pressing stuff elsewhere in life. for now, im just happy to see everything looking happy and healthy :D

But unlike T.wins where their design and lore is boring which is a shame because they also had potential, S.kull M.erchant as a concept is actually quite enjoyable, but I utterly hate the way she was designed and written. Give me a tech billionaire who hunts people in the woods not painful walk in a jump suit with a tinfoil mask. Give me the skull merchant not whatever the fuck she is now with her entire ass out in her release skin. Her arm she has doesn't even look high tech neither do her drones, like what the fuck.

I genuinely wished they would've pushed her tech more, the way she can jack into a weird vr experience and plug back out of it, that kind of thing. Play with that more in her kit rather than just F.reddy's mori and skulls hot glued to 25$ drones. And god I'm like- so close to just redesigning her myself visually, because no one else has really scratched the itch with her for me. She's just such a disappointment especially coming off the heels of D.redge, A.rtist, K.night, those freaks.

I don't know, you can do so much with a name and concept like that and they did literally nothing of substance. Her lore and design are just so fucking boring, especially her lore where it just seemed like they took all the little pieces as to why certain killers are popular without realizing why they are? It feels so messy, not as messy as other peoples lore (staring directly at T.arhos and the L.egion), but certainly messy in a camp way, just messy in a desperately trying to make a character that no one likes the look or lore of cool way.

I used to paly a game on the 64 "Aiden the last mage" if I remember the name right. Was an turn based 3d rpg. Long story short, I used to give my younger brother a controller that wasn't plugged in and he would "control" specific characters during combat. We always had fun with that.

Palihotel, 107 Pine St, Seattle (Downtown), WA 98101

It’s hard to beat the location of Palihotel, a 2 minute walk to Pike Place Market, super close to the light rail Westlake station, and a short walk to the Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Aquarium, and downtown. You can also easily walk to Belltown, Capitol Hill, and the International District (with a 1 mile radius of the hotel).

The hotel, which was probably a rundown old hotel before Pali took it over, is smaller but has a charming style (with dark green, plants, woods, and plaids), excellent Diptyque toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel), and a well-regarded restaurant (The Hart and The Hunter).

My room was small (perfect size for one person) and had a view of another building and alley. I was surprised by how noisy it was. I heard sirens three times after midnight and could also hear traffic. The bed was comfy with lots of fluffy pillows and a pillow-top mattress. Towels were thick but not soft. The room seemed clean. I tried to change the temperature setting in my room and it seemed like it was centrally controlled.

My room had dark green walls, a small bathroom with a shower (no tub) and huge rain shower head, writing desk, TV, drawers, fridge, one chair, glasses and cups, and a phone.

Amenities include free wi-fi, in-room safe, concierge, housekeeping, room service, staffed front desk, SMEG mini fridge stocked with interesting drinks, snack basket, SMEG electric kettle, thick terry robe, cotton balls, ear plugs, writing pad, postcards, flatscreen TV with HBO, tea, coffee, etc. Snacks and drinks are added onto your bill if you consume them. The bottled water in the room is not complimentary.

They don’t have on-site parking or a fitness center. Rooms are smoke-free. I noticed electric bikes outside (must be available for rent) the hotel entrance.

The lobby had a large lounge area that looked like a library/living room with couches, tables, rugs, art, and lots of books. Loved the plaid carpeting in the hallways. There is one small elevator. The area has quite a few homeless people, so it’s not that nice but it is very central and close to lots of things. There’s a Target that’s very close and H Mart is across the street.

“No, I’m understanding you just fucking fine, thank you. My Wi-Fi is more than strong enough to handle a call like this, so no you’re not breaking up and don’t you dare try to hang up on me—beeeeep!” The beep of the dial tone doesn’t stop Aelin if anything it spurs her on. “Talk about fucking shitty customer service, you’re supposed to listen and nod and tell me you’ll be able to do it in time because the customer is always fucking right. You think after three years from age fifteen to age eighteen spent in customer service I wouldn’t know that! It was fucking drilled into me. I fucking wish I could forget it. No such luck, y’all!”

Throwing her phone onto her bed, she begins pacing around her bedroom once more, glancing to the list that hangs on her wall, growing smaller and smaller, shorter and shorter, the more phone calls she makes, the more times the shops hang up on her, the more times she shouts and rants to them about customer service and those three, traumas inducing years.

She snatches the list, ripping it at the top where it was pinned to the wall, she notes the final few business names, web addresses, and phone numbers.

She’s running out of hope. Of the seven businesses she’s called so far, two of them have been able to do complete her order, but not without having her there to supervise for some weird reason, a weird reason that had her getting a bad, bad vibe and resulting in her hanging up on them instead of vice versa.

Stomping across her worn out rug, she plucks her phone from her duvet cover and presses her thumbprint to the home button, wincing as she reads the low battery percentage on her phone. She ignores it, knowing that if she’s plugged into a charger she can’t pace and stomp and generally annoy her roommate during her three remaining phone calls.

She dials the number, shaking her hips as the dial tone rings, and rings, and rings, and rings before going straight to voicemail. “This is the voicemail service for Click and Print, your local printing shop. If you wish to speak to customer service, press one, if you wish to place an order over the phone, press two, if you wish to reach us for any other reason, please press three. Thank you for calling Click and Print, sorry we can’t be here to answer your call, but we hope to be in the future. Beeeeep!”

Pressing the red button on her phone screen, Aelin viciously crosses one line out, eight shops down, two to go.

Taking a deep breath, she takes the phone number from her notebook page and dials, tapping her foot repeatedly, making sure she’s got the phone on speaker, and her heaviest boots on, making sure she’s making as much noise as possible, so she can annoy her roommate as much as possible.

She lifts the phone to her ear, despite it being on speaker, and listens to the phone ringing, now able to exactly recite (through humming and finger clicks) what a phone sounds like when you’re waiting for someone to pick up.

She feels useless for knowing this.

Aelin has one more chance, one more company she can call before she can give up. And she’ll be dammed if she gives up. Praying to all the gods, in all the religions she doesn’t believe in (particularly), she copies the phone number from the notebook page into the phone app on her mobile, dialling shortly after and praying that this angle pans out.

“Hi, I’m Moira Whitehorn from Whitehorn and Moonbeam Digital Printing, how can I help you?” The woman’s voice is lilting, soft and slow and rubbing over her vowels like she’s a starving cat and all she can see is food.

“Hi, I was wondering if you could print something that I send to you via email or message and then if you could print it onto a jumper that I send you physically, in the post. And if you can have it ready for New Years, because I need it for an ugly sweater competition they’re hosting at my workplace?”

“Absolutely, Darling. Now, where do you live, I’ll see if I can come and collect your sweatshirt from you tonight. It all depends on how close you are to my son; I’m visiting him tonight you see. He’s always alone tonight, and it does pain me so. He says he has a roommate, but he also says that they’re always antagonising him and pushing his limits and getting on his every last nerve. He lives on Queen’s Street.” Her accent is like a balm on all Aelin’s wounds, a calming essence that stops her from pounding her boots and pacing her room.

“Oh, that’s lovely of you. And what a coincidence, I also live on Queen’s Street. You ring me once you’re done visiting your son, and I’ll give you, my address. Sounds good?” She doesn’t want to take away from her time with her son.

“Quite wonderful, now if you give me the sweatshirt, I can have it done for you by noon tomorrow. That good, Darling?” She could get lost in the accent, if it weren’t for the fact that she seems to recognise it from someone where, the last name felt familiar too, but she said it too quickly for Aelin to know precisely what she had said.

“Perfect, thank you so, so much. Local businesses for the win, huh.”

“Buh-bye now, and yes.”

The dial tone sounds, and Aelin places her phone on her desk, plugs it into the charger and takes a slow, small step backwards and sinks into her desk chair. Cool, calm, and collected, she pulls off her stompers and places them down, underneath her desk, replacing them with soft slippers on her feet.

She plucks the slightly crewed piece of paper, and smooths it as best she can, placing a tiny, little tick beside the last company, before underlining it wildly.

Her message sends just as the doorbell rings, and she hears her roommate rush to get the door. She also hears him greet his mother, and then she hears him call her name. She walks out, just as she hears the woman gasp, enters the kitchen just in time to see her show Rowan, her son, the message before saying, “Rowan! Is this you, tell me right now. Are you an annoying roommate? Are you a horrible roommate? Why is this girl, this Aelin character messaging me a picture of you, calling you an annoying roommate, and thinking she can win an ugly sweater competition by having,” she squeezes his cheeks, violently, might Aelin add, “your beautiful, gorgeous face on a sweater.”

“Oh, uh, yeah. I’m not sure about this. Ask her, she’s right behind you.” He quickly states, throwing her painfully, and mercilessly, under the bus, a double-decker if you will.

Project Development Planning and Implementation - PM Gati Shakti

Phase 1: Projects approved:

·         Dholera Special Investment Region (22.5 sq. km) under DMIC in Gujarat.

·         Shendra Bidkin Industrial Area (18.55 sq. km) under DMIC in Maharashtra. AURIC - Aurangabad Industrial City

·         Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh (747.5 acres) under DMIC in Uttar Pradesh. DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited

·         Integrated Industrial Township Vikram Udyogpuri near Ujjain (1100 acres) under DMIC in Madhya Pradesh. DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Ltd

·         Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub at Nangal Chaudhary (886 acres) in Haryana under DMIC has been approved by CCEA and implementation is likely to be initiated shortly.

The program is aimed at providing multi-modal connectivity with complete “plug and play” infrastructure till the plot level along with building resilient and sustainable future ready cities. As part of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) Project, 4 cities in the States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have already been implemented and 77 plots covering an area of 536 acres have been allotted so far with a committed investment of around Rs. 16,100 crore. Total developed land available which is additionally ready for allotment to industries is 3,620 acres and 3,000 acres for non-industrial uses.

Phase 2: Projects in advance stage of planning and implementation to be initiated by 2021

·         Krishnapatnam Industrial Area (2,500 acres) in Andhra Pradesh approved by NICDIT and approval from CCEA is being sought

·         Tumakuru Industrial Area (1,736 acres) in Karnataka under CBIC has been approved by NICDIT and approval from CCEA is being sought.

·         For Multi-Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) & Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) (1,208 acres) at Greater Noida in UP under DMIC, NICDIT has accorded its approval & CCEA approval is being sought.

·         As part of DMIC, for Dighi Port Industrial Area (7,413 acres), activities pertaining to detailed master planning and preliminary engineering has been completed.

·         For Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Sanand (500 acres) under DMIC in Gujarat, master planning activities are being finalized;

·         As part of Hyderabad Nagpur Industrial Corridor, master planning has been completed for Zaheerabad (3,500 acres)

·         As part of Hyderabad Warangal Industrial Corridor, master planning has been completed for Hyderabad (8,000 acres)

·         As part of Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor, master planning has been completed for Raghunathpur (2,483 acres)

Phase 3: Projects under development and implementation likely to be initiated by 2023

·         As part of CBIC, activities pertaining to detailed master planning and preliminary engineering for Ponneri (4,000 acres) has been initiated.

·         As part of extension of CBIC, activities pertaining to detailed master planning and preliminary engineering for Palakkad (1,878 acres) in Kerala has been initiated

·         As part of extension of CBIC, activities pertaining to detailed master planning and preliminary engineering for Dharmapuri Salem (1,733 acres) in Tamil Nadu has been initiated

·         As part of Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor, master planning activities are being initiated for Hisar (4,000 acres) in Haryana

·         For VCIC Corridor, project development activities are being initiated for Kopparthy (4,085 acres) in Andhra Pradesh

·         For VCIC Corridor, project development activities are being initiated for Chittoor (8,967 acres) in Andhra Pradesh

·         For Vizag (4,311 acres) Node under VCIC in Andra Pradesh, State Govt. is carrying out the Detailed Master Planning and Preliminary Engineering.

·         For AKIC Corridor, Integrated Manufacturing Cluster at Prag Khurpia (2,935 acres) under AKIC in Uttarakhand is being taken up and tender documents for selection of consultants have been issued.

·         For DMIC Corridor, Jodhpur Pali Marwar Industrial Area at Rajasthan is being taken forward and project development activities will be initiated shortly.

Phase 4: Projects under conceptualization and implementation likely to be initiated by 2024

·         For BMIC Corridor, Dharwad (5,800 acres) in Karnataka is being taken up.

·         For BMIC Corridor, Sangli/Satara/Solapur Node in Maharashtra is proposed for development and State Govt. has been requested for a concurrence on prioritized node

·         For Integrated Manufacturing Cluster at Rajpura Patiala under AKIC in Punjab, project development activities are being initiated as confirmation from State Govt. regarding availability of land has been received.

·         For Integrated Manufacturing Cluster under AKIC in Uttar Pradesh, State Govt. has been requested for confirmation on prioritized node

·         For Integrated Manufacturing Cluster under AKIC in Jharkhand, State Govt. has been requested for confirmation on land details

·         For Integrated Manufacturing Cluster under AKIC in Bihar, State Govt. has been requested for confirmation on land details

·         For Odisha Economic Corridor, two nodes have been identified i.e. Gopalpur, Bhubaneswar Kalinganagar (GBK node) and Paradip –Kendrapada – Dhamra – Subarnarekha (PKDS node) and have been recently approved by NICDIT for development under National Industrial Corridor Programme and are being taken forward

·         Orvakal (Andhra Pradesh) node under Hyderabad Bengaluru Industrial Corridor has been recently approved by NICDIT for development under National Industrial Corridor Programme and project development activities are being initiated

·         For DMIC Corridor, Khushkhera Bhiwadi Neemrana Investment Region at Rajasthan is being taken forward and project development activities will be initiated shortly.

·         For Delhi Nagpur Industrial Corridor, discussions will be initiated shortly for project development activities

State Govt.(s) have been urged to transfer land to the project SPVs for commencement of project development activities or identify land for conducting the feasibility studies as the case may be. NICDC is in constant engagement with the States to fructify this.

Now to develop Dholera like Projects, both State and Central Governments need to be on the same side, irrespective of different Political Parties.
