I’m so fucking tired from work today, I didn’t plan to write anything but here’s what nobody asked: super indulgent AU with retail worker Luigi~ yaaay~!

Luigi works in some short of shop, coffee or any place where he has to face clients (your decision, sorry I’m tired)

Even though the work is hard, he’s pretty good at it: Luigi works hard and is really sweet even with the worst client, never losing the composure.

But then HE appears.

Bowser is not a bad client. He’s even worse: a prepotent businessman who is always bragging about having many important contacts. One of them: Luigi’s boss. Or better said, the boss of his boss: the CEO itself.

Every time he enters to the workplace, Luigi watches how his coworkers suddenly need to leave and work urgently in the store or outside.

“C’mon Lu, he likes you… or tolerates you at least. That’s much more than with us! Don’t make that face, I’ll change my Saturday shift with you!”

So our hero finally faces the devil and says the magical words: “May I help you with something?” (ᵔ◡ᵔ)

Bowser grins at him and then starts the longest 45 minutes of Luigi’s day.

“Everything looks horrible” “How you can sell this kind of shit to your clients?” “Even the prices are insulting”

“Well, if you let me I’ll search something better for you” “We have clients and providers of all type, maybe this is just not the most ideal thing for you” “Well, I don’t put the prices myself hehe” (ᵔ◡ᵔ)

“Maybe I should call to your superior and talk him about you”

(ᵔ◡ᵔ) fuck you

But he doesn’t says a word. Luigi is pretty done with his attitude but he knows he can’t anything. It’s his work. This wasn’t part of his contract but he needs to work. He needs the little salary he earns here, so he just smile and tries his best to apologize and change the subject.

But that doesn’t work either. Bowser ask for his full name and makes a call.

Luigi’s world crumbles as he tries to clear his mind: should he apologize more? Should he punch him in the face?

He’s still frozen in the place as he watches as Bowser ends the call and goes back to him, grin on his face.

“I talked with your boss. You’re fired. Also you’re hired. You start in my office next Monday, full time and twice your actual salary. If you can with this shit you will not have problems in your new job. Don’t worry, it will be better than this.”

Luigi takes the business card that Bowser gave him, half agaped half still frozen, and watches as Bowser exists the place.

Coworkers suddenly appear: “wtf just happened?”

“I… I don’t know”

That's not even the hard part, that's just weird and uncomfortable. The hard part is everyone being rude as hell all the time. PSA pls be nice to retail workers and if someone else is being a shithead, pls be Extra nice to retail afterwards.

Oh my god YES Dazai keeps getting in and no one can figure out how and he'll never tell and also Kunikida is pissed that there are so many charges to Minecraft on his card (like hell Dazai is gonna pay for his own accounts every time they get blocked and he has to make a new one)

Please don't panic. Don't fill tanks with gas. Don't buy more than your car can hold. Don't call gas stations asking if they have gas. If you see a delivery happening, wait until the fucking tanker is gone before trying to buy gas.

STOP TREATING RETAIL WORKERS LIKE WE'RE NPCS.

Idk who needs to hear that, but retail workers are people too. We have thoughts and feelings and personalities and lives just like you do. Stop treating us like we're just there to serve you, like we have no purpose other than to serve you. Talk to us rather than just brushing us off during your transaction. Don't be a fucking asshole if we don't give you a bag, punch in a rewards number wrong, need help from a manager, ANYTHING. There's almost always a reason for things happening (even if the reason is that we're flustered or tired or distracted or socially awkward) and it's better for everyone if you just show a little compassion.

PLEASE be kind to retail workers. We matter too and have to go home and deal with everything that happens to us a work, just like you do. Don't end up as one of our end of day rants. Treat us like actual people and not NPCs.

Hey guys? PSA: dont play with the bag carousel when you're at a cash register. Teach yourself and your children some self discipline and stop jamming your cashiers hands/arms while they're trying to bag your items. My mom always comes home from her job at walmart with huge bruises on her arms/hands because parents won't tell their kids to stop spinning the bag carousel and it makes me super sad because she doesnt deserve that 😞😭
