Day 1

We start with Juliet asking Romeo to be her boyfriend. He accepts. He tells her he has to go, but asks her to meet up later, and to not tell any of her family.

At roughly around 11 pm, Juliet gets a call from Romeo, telling her to get ready for 1 am.

1 am and Romeo picks up Juliet, where she manages to sneak out of the house successfully.

Unfortunately however, the pair are caught, and Juliet is brough home in the back of a police car.

Day 2

Hermia finally plucks up enough courage to ask Puck Summerdream out on a date, and it goes quite well.

Day 3

"Hey Romeo... I cant sleep... You wanna come see me?"

"Of course I do baby, I'll pick you up at 1 am ok?"

"I'll be waiting Romeo~"

"Please don't tell my Grandpa about who I was with Officer... He'd be even more mad if he knew I was with Romeo..."

Pleasantview Lagacy Challenge

I do love the drama Pleasantview always have, and I wish to play that out in sims 4. Each generation is represent a sim in each Pleasentville household in rotation order.

          The heir doesn’t need to be the gender of the sim that inspire that generation. I have keep it mostly basegame friendly (with basegame alternative if it’s not). Hope you enjoy it!

         You’re an eligible young sim with looks and successful career, everybody wants you and everybody wants to be you. And you certainly not gonna say no to that. You love to climb a ladder; you want to be on the top. That’s why when it come to time to tie the knot, you choose a match that will bring you money and recognition. You should give up on your wild day after you married but you didn’t. Well, why pick and choose when one can have it all?

Aspiration: Serial Romantic Aspiration Traits: Ambitious, Romantic, Bro  Career: Doctor (recommended)

Rules

Complete Serial Romantic Aspiration

Marry a rich sim but leave them at the altar the first time then marry them again.

Reach level 10 of your career of choice

Host a party every time important event happened (Birthday, Wedding, Graduation, etc.)

          You hated your home life; it was awful seeing different old step-parent coming in and out of your life. You wish to escape as soon as possible, and you were not shy to express that. You become a rebellion, always dress alternatively, and have bad relationship with your parents, every one of them.

Aspiration: Chief of Mischief Aspiration Traits: Hot-headed, Mean, Gloomy Career: Any

Rules

Become enemies with your parents

Must have a part-time job in teen years, must complete the aspiration before moving out and must move out as soon as possible. Graduate early if you can.

Always dress alternatively, preferably in black. You may change after moving out.

Must reach at least level 5 in a career, reach level 6 in three skills, and is an adult before have a kid.

Max one creative skill.

Suggestion: Move out to a place with only few necessities (like early part of the regular legacy challenge) for extra challenge. If you do, you must have a complete house before have a kid.

          You saw how hard your parent work for your better life and you are grateful for that. You wish to make them proud, so you are all in in your education. You have a great interest in robot and mechanical stuff, you are an inventor! Or at least you try to be.

Aspiration: Academic Aspiration Traits: Genius, Geek, Ambitious Career: Engineer (recommended)

Rules

Get grade A in all school years and complete one child aspiration

Graduate from a university and complete the aspiration.

Max logic, handiness, and robotic skills.

Craft a Servo.

You caught up in your invention and forgot to have any kid, so hurry up and have one close to elder age. (NOT BEFORE YOU FINISHED A SERVO)

Suggestion: If you don’t have Discover University, you can skip the robotic part and just have one kid early on in life then have an Oops baby close to elder age. Reach level 10 in Tech Guru Career instead of graduate from university. And use Nerd Brain Aspiration instead, build that rocket!

Sixth Generation: The Oldies

          You’re a servo. Your creator died before they raise this little baby of them to be an adult, so it is now your job! This little baby seems to like food so much so you become a chef for them. Nothing makes you happier than to see those chubby cheeks full of food that you make.

Aspiration: Master Chef Aspiration Traits: Loyal, Good, Foodie Career: Culinary, Chef Branch

Rules

Raise that kid, but don’t forget to find love. True love or woohoo-sim is your choice. (the Oldie become a polygamy couple in my save so if you want that…)

Complete Master Chef Aspiration and max cooking and gourmet cooking skill.

Cook every gourmet meal after complete the aspiration. Keep all of it for the next generation to eat.

Adopt some animal if you have Cats and Dogs. (Or some rat if you have My First Pet Stuff, or Llama if you want, idk.)

Seventh Generation: John Burb

          You get married to a career driven sim and become a stay-at-home partner. You want multiple kids but your partner is quite busy so you got to find the middle ground. Actually, you can’t actually blame them to have doubt since neither of you actually love to take care of baby. You mostly spend your time gardening in the sun, it’s more fun than baby, what can you say!

Aspiration: Country Caretaker or Freelance Botanist Aspiration Traits: Loves Outdoors, Lazy, Glutton Career: None

Rules

Marry a career driven sim and quit your job (if you ever have one) then move to countryside.

Not so close with your kids, don’t have any more child until the first one is almost a teen. And let them mostly take care of their other sibling.

Complete the aspiration and reach level 10 in gardening skill.

However, I think Sam and his desire for a normal life, his romanticization of what a normal life is, the discontent he feels when he goes through the motions of having it, and his inability to achieve it because his pleasentville ideas don't exist, all parallel Mary.

In light of TomSka's video about plagiarism going up, I wanna share something that's funny in retrospect but is also one of the best ways to get under my skin /lhj

So. Follychromatic.

I had the idea back in 2020 for a cartoon show that starts out black and white, and then as characters became happier being themselves, the more colors they gained as a result. I was pitching the idea to my mom in the car one day and she was like "oh, like Pleasentville?"

I had never heard of this movie until then. So I was like "what's that?" And she told me that the movie centers around black and white characters slowly gaining color as they become happier with their lives.

So, out of curiosity, we watched the movie together. And I fucking hate that movie HFNSBF

This is such a funny example of parallel thinking to me. This movie is ages old now (no it's not it was released in 1998), and I'd never seen it, but I and at least one other person had this idea and had two VERY DIFFERENT ideas on how to execute it.

In Follychromatic, characters work to revolutionize their world to make life better for themselves and their future peers. They do this through community and personal growth.

In Pleasentville, they do that through THE MAGIC OF ✨ SEX!!! ✨

I'm grossly underexplaining the plot but it's. Shocking. How much fucking sex is in this movie. Not trying to be a purest here, I just was not warned about that before my mom and I watched it ._ .
