If there is no one on the ballot that you like, bubble in the “write-in” section and write ‘Free Palestine’ in the box. Let them know that you are a voter and no one on the ballot matches your values.

If you don’t vote, then you are NOT a voter and not someone that any politician cares about. In a system that doesn’t care about voters, not voting is NOT a statement! The main thing all politicians want is to be elected, if you are not a voter, you and your interests simply do not matter to them.

Your name will be added as a voter, so when you do decide to sign a petition or call your congressperson- you Will be on the list of voters- your concerns will hold weight.

Your ‘ruined’ ballot will be a statement: ‘This is the issue I, a voter, care about, that YOU have not not done anything about.’ Look it up- it’s call a protest vote. Even if these votes are not counted, you being added as a regular voter is worth the trouble.

tired of the idea that dream smp is lost media “you had to be there for” that no new people can get into.

the story holds up, the characters are compelling and VERY relatable, it’s SO interesting if people will just give it a chance and i really think we should be encouraging people to check it out!

and while some of the cc’s are problematic, the story itself is NOT. no bad people make money off of it anymore so it’s a perfect case of separate art from the artist, and the characters from the creators.

you may have seen (or not) my previous post about me archiving granblue fantasy's (the gacha/mobile game) msq. c:

i wanted to update and say that the project has been moving forward!! act 2 is completely archived and now available for reading.

i figured this was a good time to bump the archive since gbvsr and relink are getting some attention as of late. if you're interested in more granblue fantasy content, i would suggest checking out msq.

act 3 is up next, and although i will do my best to finish it before the 10th anni, i cannot promise this... but i really will try! updates tend to come weekly, sometimes even sooner, so please feel free to bookmark the project and check back every so often!

It's a beautiful morning, and a Revolutionary Army gacha recently arrived. That's right, the Year of the Dragon is the gift that keeps giving. This is your sign to go to every anime store with kujis (gachas) to find it, friends. It's been out for a few days now, but I took pretty bad pictures of it the first time and had to wait to retake. Review below! Also found a very cool promotional video for it here.

First of all, [A] prize Dragon figurine, absolutely beautiful, I hate trying to navigate the official website for OP figurines, so this is the first Dragon figurine I've ever seen. He's also the last prize, which is great. The difference between it and the [A] prize seems to be that it has metallic coloring.

Sabo and Koala for [B] and [C] prize respectively! Fantastic! Now, [D] prize... Somehow, Zoro got lost on Thriller Bark and made his way into the RA kuji. Honestly would have liked to see a Kuma figurine, but guess they needed an outlier or something. Kind of like how Benn sneaked into an Onigashima kuji.

Next, [E] prizes are towels, and [F] prizes are files! Both can be chosen from and have pretty much every named Revolutionary so far! I'm a little confused over how Smoker sneaked onto Dragon's file. Like, almost everyone else has a simple pose or a fighting one, but they really just took Dragon's first (terrifying) appearance and slapped it on. I would have liked a full view of him, but I'll take any Dragon merch I can find! Sabo’s flaming some guy too, so like mentor like mentee (lol)

Addition as of 15/3! Ivankov and Kuma technically have two files, on account of them kinda sharing the second one. Neat detail!

The [G] prizes are cups with a character's name and symbols printed on one side. These are blind boxes, with a wide selection. about average size, not too big but a little small.

Finally, the [H] prize are rubber charms! Adorable designs, and also blind boxes! Love how Dragon is doing his crazy grin in his design.

All in all, a pretty good kuji! [A] to [H] prizes, 80 tickets, and only two rankings being blind boxes with four types of figurines. The variety is pretty wide, which will end up tanking its popularity a bit... I love the Revs, but I'm well aware that outside of Sabo, Dragon and Koala, they're not particularly popular by the individual. Though Kuma is gaining love with the latest Egghead arc!

It's a 9/10 for me! Without bias, it makes for a 6/10 kuji. The average One Piece enjoyer probably wouldn't play this unless they're confident in their luck (to get Sabo, lol). I'll return to play it soon!

i saw in your "describe your accent" post you deride people using the term 'general american' to refer to their accent, but that is actually a linguistic term for the american accent that originated in the midwest and became the default accent of news/broadcasting, which in turn a lot of people speak especially if they don't come from areas with established regional diversity. Its label is generally used when comparing large groups of people in a study, for example comparing people from the US to the UK when you are not concerned with region-specific differences.

Also, just as a note, region alone does not define what accent you have, accent varies by class, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation etc. and using dismissive language to talk about how people self-identify their accent is kinda a shitty move, even if you may think you're punching up.

In the Grishaverse, there's a group of people called Grisha who have supernatural powers over one specific thing, and tend to fall into one of three categories: Corporalki, Etherealki, and Materialki.

Corporalki have power over living flesh (I believe specifically human flesh, but don't quote me on that). Healers do exactly what they sound like, Heartrenders can do fun stuff like mess with people's brain chemistry and/or organs, and Tailors can temporarily change theirs or others' appearances.

Etherealki have power over the elements. Squallers can control wind, Inferni can control fire, and Tidemakers can control water.

Materialki have power over physical matter. As far as I can tell, they mostly control largely man-made materials like glass or metal. Durasts can manipulate any solid material, sometimes down to its composition. Alkemi do the same thing, but with liquids or powders.

The Other/Not Shown section comprises Grisha who fall into one of the above categories but are in some way rare or unique. Corpsewitches are Heartrenders who can mess with dead flesh, Shadow Summoners (who I think are sometimes called darklings, which is kind of confusing because there's also a Shadow Summoner character called The Darkling) are Etherealki with power over specifically darkness and shadow, and Sun Summoners are the opposite of Shadow Summoners and have the ability to control and create light.
